What I loved about this hotel was how friendly and efficient the staff were, got a nicer room than what I booked which was welcome. The room itself was pleasant and had everything I could need.

The hotel itself caters very much for the Indian guest as such breakfast is largely curries however, there are regular options available but, mind the baked beans they have spices in them. What I disliked was there was a lot of groups of males hanging around the entrance some of whom were rude to the staff.

GreatHotel if single&wantWalking Street&OKwIndians. I rate only their executive wing only. They have some other buildings that i would not recommend. I love this place. Not for families or kids younger than 21 due to Walking Street and that entertainment venue. It is 99.9% Indian guests and they are nice and respectful. The hotel staff and building ( executive wing only!) is great. They did some nice updates. 10/10 rating:)!

Stayed there 9 days, luke warm water during shower 5 of those days… all better hotels have HOT water for shower. They say some excuse about “ cleaning system” but i’ve stayed there before and same problem. They’re being cheap.

We stay in the executive wing room size was great but very dirty.. House keep was usuing the same mon to everyroom. In 2 weeks she never cleaned to bathroom mirror or shower doors once.. we never use the balcony be ause she never cleaned it was muck of dirt. Reception and restaurant staff was nice. Pool bar had no white wine. Location wise ok easy to walk to walking street tuk tuk was in then door step but I don’t think we will stay ever again. We have been stayin Nova Park and Nova Gold last 12 yers but this hotel was the worst…

This was the first time a hotel charged me for having a guest who didn't check in at the same time with me even though I indicated that 2 adults will be staying there for the night.

Rooms were dirty, lot of hair and stains on the floor. Bathroom was mouldy and dirty (have pictures). There was no hot water in 2 of our rooms on the first day. I had stained towel in my room (have pictures). Beds were uncomfortable and noisy. I would not go near this hotel next time.

I came to Thailand. I did not come to a disrespectful India. The hotel is fine, a little unclean but the Indian guests are the worst I’ve ever seen. Absolutely no respect for absolutely anyone. Because of these disgusting people we will never stay there again. Apparently they are always there.

I love the Nova Platinum Hotel

I loved the whole hotel especially the pools. Water was so clean and I enjoyed the sun and tanning. The service staff is the best in the world. All were so nice and friendly to me. This is worst hotel, I ever stayed. By no means it’s 4 star, staff is rude. 1.There was construction, all around hotel 2.Check in takes forever, you need to wait in hot without knowing what’s going on. 3. They don’t take credit card, takes cash for deposit. 4. You can’t get in there swimming pool with American style swim wear. I had a button on mine. 5. Room smells and conditioning is slow. 6. Staff is rude and doesn’t have basic manners to speak a guest. Please don’t stay in this property, I want my money back.

The staff was friendly, the hotel needs upgrade, this hotel should be a adult hotel, reason why, men’s bringing girls into the hotel to swim in public pool, making out, kissing and feeling on top of each other in front of kids, no one said anything. My friend and I was wanted some real massage so we decide to book massage through the hotel, only find out 15-20 mins into the massage they ask for happy ending and sex, was very unprofessional and disappointed. Will never come back to this hotel again.

When we checked in the reception staff was not even concerned in regard to our concerns in regards to the room. We walked into the room and their was hair around the room and the shower seemed as it had never been cleaned. Extremely sad and not worth the basic room. We then had to look for the manager to ask him for an upgrade. We were first told that there were no twin rooms
Available in the higher category of rooms which was a lie as we saw it online. We saw the grand Felix room and then were satisfied and had to pay the upgrade fee. Staff generally are friendly but the cleanliness of the standard room is poor.

On the good side the pool area was great and the location of property was amazing. Walkable yo all the places. Overall I think the property needs maintenance especially the basic rooms and some staff need to be more professional.

We had to ring to ask for room clean and they didnt replace anything but soap in sbower and make dirty bed...
Our friend joined us after day 2 checked in late and they gave him a dirty room with unchangrd sheets and the bed not even made. After waiting over hour at 11pm...

There is also so many indian tourists here... They are all staying 3/4 per room so it was overwhelming with them stealing our cigarettes of our table and ect.

The bathrooms were dirty. The whole room was dirty and run down. Even the new part. The old blocks bathrooms are tiny too. All the staff is very unfriendly. Even if you say hi they ignore you. The hotel is 98% Indian men and they are like animals. They will stare at your girlfriend every time you walk through the hotel to a point they feel very uncomfortable. Some even tried taking pictures. Never ever go to that hotel if you can help it

The hotel is very close to night life but the hotel is more on the Indian and Middle East populated area. Many quests stays in this hotel are Indians. I would not have problem with them other than they are a little noisy and don't respect other's privacy.

The hotel has nice swimming pools, have not had chance to had breakfast there so no comment on that. But nice location and nice facilities all around.

Hotel staff lack of english, which is not that common in Thailand.

Great hotel not in the center of town but close enough to not detract from your stay there was nothing to fault about the hotel or staff, for my visit at least it was the clientele that let the place down, it seemed very popular with one particular nationality that were very very poor at being pleasantly mannered toward other guests and the hotel staff, it was a shame that this detracted so much from the overall experience but don't let it put you off it's still good value for money if you can ignore the ignorance of others

It's a decent hotel for what you pay. The lobby leading into the pool is a great plan as it brings the outdoors into the hotel. pool was clean and warm and there's a pool bar with barman stationed there at all times. The room was fine and clean, but I had a room without a balcony. I would suggest that you ask for a balcony to get more fresh air and relaxation. Breakfast was ok, but drinks a bit expensive. You could do much worse than this hotel. It's close to walking street as well.

Rubbish stay at this poor hotel.

The room had no balcony and the windows would not open, but still the room was still full of mosquitoes. Broken remote, peddle bin, sink stopper and fridge. Room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. Was told by staff I was on the wrong floor (6) as this was for Indian People only? Tried to charge me for using the mini bar, I stayed the full 24 days on my own and never used the bar.

The part I and my girlfriend did not like was that we were the only 2 people there that were not from India, not counting the prostitutes. I can only assume that this hotel has some kind of contract with the Indian gov't or travel agency there. The people from India were very rude, loud at all hours of the night, very inconsiderate of us and did I already say very rude, yes I think so !!! Very rude people !! I will never stay at this hotel again and would not recommend to anyone !!!
Both my girlfriend and myself felt very uncomfortable around these people.

Its a Huge Property only the Grand rooms are livable, Lacks maintenance, Ac in most of the rooms big is a big Issue. Hospitality is one area surely missing.

Wow, I was so amazed at how one hotel could transport me to a completely different country than the one I was visiting.

From the moment I stepped into the lobby i was able to see the pool full of men lounging in a Turkish bath style location. It made me feel like i was in India.

Then to have all the friendly ladies who wanted to spend the evening with me standing right out the front door was a real bonus.

If you want to visit Thailand and feel like your in the fertile crescent this is the place to be.

Great hotel. Pool was awesome and close to everything going on outside. Just step outside and either walk or grab a tuk tuk for 10 bhat. The only issue I had was when they repainted the room they did a sloppy job and there are paint splatters on the floor. Makes the floor look dirty.The bed was a little hard but I prefer soft beds.

It was an unpleasant stay for the below mentioned reasons

1. Charged us 1000 baht extra for arriving 4 hours early than check in .
2. Key access did not work at all
3. Room service did not change the bed sheets and merely straightened the bed.
4. When asked for an extra pillow , it was refused and we were asked why we needed it.
5. When asked for tissue box, we were told only in the morning we can get it.
6. While checking out, we were constantly harassed by the staff to leave early since our taxi arrived early. The staff kept ringing the bell after every 5 minutes.
7. The night staff are the worst at this hotel specially the lady at the front desk reception.

The room was ok with the promised pool view. However the in-room safe did not work. On complaining, someone came in to check immediately. He left saying he would be back in ten minutes. No one came again for the remainder of my stay despite three reminders to the front desk. The bedside lamps did not work and were half broken.

Rooms are out of date and poor in condition. Rooms are not peaceful, can't get rest in the mornings due to noisy housekeeping and other guests, all can be heard from the corridors. Renovations were going on during our stay, adding to the noise, woke up sick one morning to the strong smell of thinners in our room. Free wi-fi doesn't work. I travel alot, I have stayed in rooms for $12 a night that are better than this.

Convenient location for everything. Food, shopping, night life, explore market. 7-11 just underneath the hotel. Laundry across the road. Very helpful. Bathrooms were old & the cleaning product used to clean bathrooms were really stinky. A/C wasn't working so had to request to fix it but nothing happened so after several requests was transferred to another room on next floor level with a promise of upgrade which they did next day. The staff lacks on smile. Pool is good with a bar in it which is expensive as they sell a local beer for $240 baht which usually costs 55 baht on 7-11 and 65 baht in a pub. Breakfast buffet is good with lots in $236 baht. Fresh eggs made to order for breakfast. I won't say it's too bad but it's not too good either. Rest is upto you. If you going for a week don't stay here for whole week.

Good thing is there's a 7-eleven right next to it that you can get ice for 8 times cheaper. 24 hour room service is cool. Not a bad experience but not as great as I was hoping for.

Really poor hotel option now. Wifi all but unusable (slow), rooms are tired, very noisy can hear other guests knocking on doors at all hours. Hotel seems to have cornered the Indian sex tourist market with nearly all male clientele complete with hordes or ladies of the night hanging around the front of hotel. If you have a family you would not want to use the pool due to the numbers of men in it.
The air conditioner rattled (did get fixed when requested), TV reception was poor and needed retuning, many light bulbs weren't working. As if no one quality checks the rooms are ready for guests..
Very sporadic hot water in shower..... Hardly ever had any.... And on two occasions the water came complete with rust (nice touch)...

No Complaints

First night the put me in a connecting room. Very noisy. Avoid these rooms unless you need one.

Rooms nice. Pool area and lobby also nice. Great location to Walking Street area. Popular with tourists (package tours?)from Russia and India. Security was good and there is parking of you need it.

I stayed in the newer building. Happy with my choice. Would stay here again.

Good hotel for the price

This hotel is in a very busy are with a lot of Indian tourist. Good food is near by and easily accessible at all hours

Best value for money ever

I saw a few reviews about the showers being unclean. I wouldn't call them perfect but I certainly wouldn't carry on as much as some people have. I stayed in the cheapest room and it was great. Ice cold air con, large room, huge bed. I've never stayed in a hotel that has better value for money than Nova Platinum and I will be staying there again.
