Not for me. All I could hear during the day was power tools and banging. No complimentary shuttle, too far and too isolated to walk. Only option was a taxi. The food was very average. View from the balcony was the best thing about the hotel. Ended up checking out early and loosing two nights but I couldn’t stay for another two nights.

Royal Cliff hotels are all very good with some shared facilities. Not within walking distance of anything but easy to get Bolts or Grab taxes. Fantastic swimming pools and easy to walk down the steps to the beach where the sea is even warmer than the swimming pools. They found a way to check me in 8:00 a.m. after an early flight and I'm very grateful.

Excellent hotel thats secluded from the local Pattaya beach. If you want a crowd, stay at the Royal Cliff Beach. If you want grand & quietness, stay at the Royal Cliff Grand. Easy access to the private beach. Food was okay. But service & exclusivity were definitely the objectives. Just a short 7min ride to the night life.

Although Pattaya cliff grand is supposed to be luxury but the worst ever room service I ever had
Coffee is Baht 130 but came with small cup so I had to order 2 to 3 cups each time!

In addition the worst ever food served. I ordered Tom yum going with noodle, it came dry with no soup! I feedback to hotel but they don’t care and did not do anything to change my food. Can you believe this kind of poor service?
I took a picture of the noodle to remind myself not to stay this hotel in future if I go Pattaya again !

Is these 5 star service? May be 5 star rates with 1 star quality and service

The location was great the rooms were clean af, its a few minutes to a lot of attractions and activity, the staff were friendly the pools were great with great views the gym pool is really slept on. The food is great as well their ate many different options so u will not get board. The o ly thing i didnt like abot the property is that there was the lil red worms in the toilets when flushing it was not a problem but coming from the california bay area i guess we dont appreciate the little things we have. Over all out of 10 ill give this place a 9.8 will definitely recoment for any1 traveling to thailand and if i were to come back i would definitely stay again

Literally the worst \"resort\" ever

Worst hotel ever. I mistakenly paid for 10 nights when I left after 2 nights. It was too stressful.
The restaurants here are way too expensive and poor quality. I tried to order food Grab instead and they wouldn't let the driver inside to drop it off. This place is a joke. I talked to the manager a couple times and each time he had a different excuse for the poor service. Mostly just telling me \"sorry for the mistake\" but not doing anything to resolve the issue. While the view from the room is nice, you have to take a cab to get anywhere as security wouldn't even open the gate so I can walk to the store. Instead, they made me take a 30 minute walking detour. This is literally the worst resort I've stayed at. Everything I wanted to do, the staff at this place just made my life more difficult. So much for a relaxing stay... I recommend The Stay on Beach road instead. Cheaper, closer to everything, nice big rooms, and the staff are super nice and helpful.

I booked this stay as five star and 9.0 review but I found the look of outside and inside very old and dated - there was very few people, felt like it had been closed down for months - whole place was depressing, the room had been refurbished and was nice and good view but the whole ambience of the place was terrible - I booked 2 nights and left after the first and lost the money for the second night - went to another hotel and paid again and was much happier

Highly recommend the “Royal Cliff Resorts” which are in a private setting and on the beach. Visited restaurants, and had room service. All excellent ( food and service)

Loved it. This hotel is in a secluded area of several Royal Cliff properties, each with its own identify but all tied together by location. Specifically though, the room was very nice. Not too large, around 375 sqft(?) but more than adequate. Large patio/desk looking over the ocean. Property is clean, does not look dated, very well maintained imho. The beach is private, that just depends on your taste but we loved it. Staff was always friendly, professional, exactly what you'd expect from a 5 star property.

Our experience with Saturday buffet was first class. Wonderful friendly staff, in all areas. One slight exception was a misunderstanding with room service, otherwise, couldn’t be happier. We will return in the future

This is in no way a 5 star hotel...4 at best. It’s an old property and although the rooms and grounds are kept clean, the furniture and bathrooms are dated.
Strangely the restaurants and common areas were eerily quiet as if the hotel was empty when I was there. Good sea views and away from the craziness of Pattaya.

The hotel is a bit dated. The room was not as clean as I like when check in. It is close to the beach and it is actual in a quiet spot in the very busy Pattaya. This is both a plus (for relaxation) and a minus (you have to take a cab every where and it is expensive in Pattaya). But the hotel is very high in value for money.

Plenty of different food choices at all the restaurants.

It also seemed like it always took way to long to get a drink (20min+) which seemed slow. Other than that, great hotel experience.

It's right on beach the hotel is great staff go out of there way to be friendly the food great the rooms well I can't fault them room was cleaned twice a day so towels were replaced twice a day chocs and fruit every day . The pools are great plus another royal hotel next door so there are loads restaurants and snack places infact I can't find fault will be back next year .

This has it all.

This was our second time staying at Royal Cliff Grand. Exceptional service with all you could possibly need at the tip of your fingers. Travelled to Pattaya for dental procedures on both occasions. Only left resort to visit dentist. Totally relaxing with fabulous restaurants on site. Beautifully landscaped gardens. All staff exceptional and very helpful. Rooms very comfortable. Beds are firm, not pillowy and fluffy. Royal Cliff is my choice accommodation in Pattaya.

This hotel is not bad per se, but it is very overpriced, the breakfast and dinner buffet are egregiously priced (1900 baht for buffet dinner!) and the hotel is situated on its own grounds so the odd time you need to use the restaurants/bars you will be getting ripped off - quality and price wise.

The staff are not bad and the room/room cleanliness is totally acceptable. But the grounds themselves are pretty basic without a very nice beach, but plenty of pools if that’s your thing.

For the price and the restaurant pricing and quality I would not recommend staying here

Nice Hotel, except for Indian weddings !

I've stayed at this hotel many times before and have had to put up with an Indian wedding disrupting the serenity every time. This time however, the disruption went too far !!! The wedding went on for SIX days with I guess around 300 guests. Very noisy with no consideration for other guests of the Hotel.

Dinner at a beautiful restaurant in the Hotel was ruined due to Indian kids running around screaming, with no parent control what so ever ! This is where the Hotel staff should have stepped in and taken care of this problem, but unfortunately, they didn't.

The most ridiculous part tho was how the Hotel was transformed into what looked like an Indian Circus, with red and pink curtains and decorations ALL over the Hotel exterior ! Unbelievable !! it ruined my stay there, which is a shame because this used to be one of my favourite hotels !

Lovely, clean hotel with great facilities and rooms which offer amazing views. The pools were lovely and many to choose from. A bit out of the main centre of Pattaya but was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle and we managed the walk to and from town each day. They do offer a shuttle service, but at a cost.

Enjoyed our stay. A beautiful resort with good area and landscaping. Will come back for longer stay. BUT, hope to get a better deal for breakfast.
Breakfast option was not offered when booking online individually. Breakfast surcharge was very high compared to 5 star adjoining hotel and to other 5 star hotels in the area. For group tourists breakfast was included. So, why can't we include it at a reasonable charge?

We really liked this place with its many lovely swimming pools, private beach and numerous restaurants. It has superb proactive and helpful staff. The rooms offer great views across the Gulf of Thailand. It has excellent tennis courts and squash. The whole place is immaculately kept.
If you want you can walk into down town Pattaya or a taxi will take you there for 250 bahts. Nearby Cozy beach is pleasant and there are two places to eat or have a sunset drink above the beach.
When we were at the hotel it happened to be quiet but it could easily get busy with delegates to its conference centre or tour groups.

We stayed at the Cliff Grand Hotel room with the ocean view balcony. What an amazing and beautiful view!!! Definitely a great place to return to. The Larn Thong outdoor seating by the ocean was definitely our favorite pick for beautiful and romantic meal spot. The staff were very friendly. The overall site has a very nice waterfront location, gardens well manicured. Some parts of the building could use some care to shine up the place, but with all of positive things we enjoyed here, it wouldn't deter us from coming back.
