This room is very clean with a well working new air-conditioner and a small water heater in the bathroom for a shower. It has a safe and small kitchenette. There is no view from the room but for the walls outside as buildings literally surround it. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel does not have an elevator so be prepared to lift your baggage all the way up the narrow stairs. The entrance to this hotel is literally as wide as a small door. Easy to miss if you are not aware of a Landmark- across Lucifer's or the go-go bar next to it. It is bang on walking street for those who are interested in the fantastic nightlife, go-go bars and a short walk away from infamous beach road. Lots of restaurants with a variety of food. Fantastic value for the money. Will definitely be staying here again.

Myself and a friend stayed here for 7 days. This was our first ever trip to thailand and to pattaya. Guesthouse on walking st was a really good first experience. The price per room is extremely cheap and for how little the price is the rooms are pretty clean and well maintain and decent space. The staff are friendly and it is staffed 24/7 so thats extremely helpful if you're checking in super late.

We are currently staying at guesthouse in bangkok on sukumvit 20 now and omg..... its like night and day.... the rooms here are extremely disgusting and they all smell of mold....... stay away from guesthouse on sukumvit 20 in bangkok..... all of the advertisement photos are fake and not real picfures of the actual rooms. My room is leaking water from the toilet plumbing.......

Right in the midst of walking street. Crazy fun crazy loud. Booked 5 nights stayed 2 used for luggage drop point to explore other overnight venues. Went great even forgot to lock safe for one overnight adventure. Would highly recommend for men looking for adventure thai style

This is a short term hotel between two dance clubs and is used by working girls for short term customers. The photo on the site looks bright and clean. Trust me, it’s not. Not sure why anyone would want to stay here. I didn’t stay. I turned around and walked out and found another hotel.

Only good for short time boom boom.. which a lot of customers do until 4-5am. Worst possible choice for a long stay. Music from outside is so loud, there is no chance to sleep before 2-3am. Staff is not friendly, maids gossip all day about customers. The room itself is fine but everything else is bad.

A great guest house to stay at
Ideal location with everything close by. Staff are excellent and look after you all the time. Rooms are serviced regularly too. I always stay here and have never been disappointed. Why bother with the expensive placed when something like this is just perfect?!!!! I am always back here. Great place.

A 3rd stay at this great guesthouse that always comes out tops on just about everything.Rooms kept spotless,staff always keen to help if they can,and bang in the middle of Walking Street.I would say one thing though,that a new club has sprung up next door(Sensations) and a new one is just weeks away from being completed,on the other side,so overnight noise can run into 6AM.,but hey you dont come to Walking Street to sleep.. right.??..Well ' sleep with'..maybe.!!..Anyway,fantastic value for money,amenities all very close,including beach etc.Due to steep stairs and no lift,this guesthouse would not be suitable for those who require wheelchair accessibility.

I expected very low quality because of the location being directly on Walking Street. But the place was VERY clean, cleaner than my 5 star place in Bangkok., spacious and when i needed to sleep, I did not hear the sounds of the party on the street below. Very surprised about everything and the best investment considering it was $13 USD a night.
For a single guy or brocation, it was awesome! beyond expectations!

+VE - Located in walking street. All night party till morning. Clean room. good staff.
-VE - Small entrance (but was not a issue for us). Small room but good bed and bathroom.
A good place for wild night party. Not be suitable for those who does not like sound in night.

Experience Walking Street from here.

I stayed there for just over 2 weeks and I could not find a single fault or anything I was unhappy about. Room cleaned every day at a time that suits you and not the cleaners.!! Good English skills.I stayed in the superior back room and could hear only a little of the sound from outside, which was fine..Aircon worked perfectly and was virtually silent. Also able to smoke in room which is a rare thing these days, but nothing like it after you've maybe bought a 'guest' back!..( for which there is no charge if she or he (or both!!) stays the night!!)...Didnt see any fire escape instructions but then again I wasn't really looking!!...If you want a 5 star experience with a 1 star price walk to Walking Street Guest House...simply brilliant will rebook very soon....

I stayed there for only 1 night & I got a room at Level A which was just adjacent to the walking street. As a result, I could enjoy the walking street activities from my balcony. It was great. The room was also clean. But it may hamper your sleep if you like to sleep early as music & other activities are going on for whole night. Overall, I give it a 4.5 out of 5

Perfect only for solo.

It was small room for two but it is perfect size for solo man only. They got nice bed with tv, refrigerator, glass cup, coffee pot and electronic locker. The major advantage is it stays in middle of walking street. If you like swimming, you can walk out about 400m and stay nice beach. If you are travelling Pattaya as single man this is most perfect place to stay.

I didn't stay at this hotel I don't recommend it. The front desk staff is horrible and I went and found another hotel. I don't know how they have such high reviews but I recommend P72 if you just want to be on walking street or the red balcony inn on alley 13/4. Same price friendly staff and they look 10x better than walking street guest house I promise you'll be happier. FYI I did not stay in the room so I don't know what it looks like, I was turned off by staff and the fact the place hasn't been kept up. When I got there it was no lights on and the girl behind the desk just looked at me and when I told her I needed to check in she pointed to the clock as if that explained anything. FYI they say you can leave your bags if your room isn't ready but they have no secure place for it. There was 3 bags on the ground in front of the desk when I walked up I asked if I could leave my bag and she pointed to the ground, so anyone can come grab your bag and walk off with it.

It's a cheap hotel right in the heart of walking street. Hotel is cheap but clean, secure and free WiFi. Bed was comfy and noise levels fine. I had a superior room.

Need to be open minded. It's used as a shot time hotel as well so may see queues of women at night near reception waiting for a room.

Would recommend to anyone solo travellers to Pattaya

Walking street it's one of the main attraction in Pattaya. Party and noise starts around 7pm every single day, I was there as a solo traveler , for me was awesome the fact that I could go from one place to another just walking, and besides most of the bars close at 3 am Club Insomnia which is located at few steps away from the hotel keeps open until 5 in the morning .

First impressions might not set the pulse racing , give it time and you will relise that this hotel is a bargain . A budget hotel right on Walking Street. I have stayed several times and been happy. Don't expect much, there is no phone, swimming pool, free breakfast, gym, etc. However for a very cheap price you get a nice clean room with a clean bathroom, a safe for your valuables, a TV with many channels, a mini-fridge, two bottles of water per day, great wifi, daily housekeeping, and a friendly front desk. Hotel is guest-friendly, no charge for visitors. You will hear noise at night until about 3am but you are on the main nightlife strip so expect that. The budget rooms are small but for the solo backpacking traveler with little luggage it works greats, note there is no balcony in the budget rooms, just a fake outside stepping area surrounded by walls so you don't see anything. If you meet a girl on Walking Street and drink a lot, this place is convenient to come back to....

however, next morning I was surprised by unexpected sudden electricity cut off, required staff assistance to illuminate the room with their personal mobile phone micro 'torch' to be able to pack up and leave this room without windows...

Right in the thick of it.

Although when you step off the bottom step of the guest house onto Walking Street, at night, in your room you wouldn't know it. There is an ever so slight bass thump but not enough to disturb sleep.
Overall the guest house is excellent value for money and takes away the hassle of catching taxis after a good night out. Street vendors selling food, girls, gogo, bars and heaps of restaurants right at your door.

One of the best place to stay if you want to enjoy nightlife for which people travel to pattaya. Right on the walking street. Very clean and good wi-fi. Not much issue with music as if you close the balcony door but who wants to sleep when walking street is awake. This was the best hotel I stayed in my 11 days trip to thailand.

Excellent budget accomodations, but...

The premium back room was not as noisy as I had feared being so close to Walking Street. Room size was great, service was very good, and location is perfect for night owls. The only drawback is that the steep and narrow staircase leading up the hotel is an accident waiting to happen for some drunk or overburdened traveler. God forbid if there were ever a fire.
