This hotel had the most comfortable bed and pillows I've experienced during my stay in Thailand. This includes Bangkok.

The location is ideal for anyone who wants to experience the beach and walking Street during their visit in Pattaya. It's literally minutes from restaurants, the beach, walking street and shopping center.

Note: the hotel is located in the heart of Boystown. Which is the gay man party district of Payttaya. So keep in mind if you're a male who likes to work out you may get looks while exiting or entering the area. However, everything was always respectful. Me and my girlfriend had no problems.

I enjoyed my stay at Copa. The staff was very good and very friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The AC worked well but it was a bit difficult to actually set a temperature or a fan speed. My only minor complaint was lack of hot water. I was there for 3 days and only had hot water for 1 day. It was not cold and I have come to expect this in Thailand. Overall a very good stay and I plan to return again.

The on-premises bar is a full blown open air nightclub which raves between 10pm and 3am every night. Sleep is impossible … the room literally shakes. And this on-premises bar is owned by a different group so the hotel has no control of the sound.
When Expedia contacted them regarding this issue they didn’t respond.

The hotel was well located for the things I wanted to do. A lot of noise early evening, but that is to be expected. The air con unit was very noisy and interfered with my sleep. It needs servicing as it was rattling. The room is a bit old, but otherwise fine and comfortable. The people at front desk are nice and helpful

Hotel located in boyztown! Rooms on first floor are very noisy! I recommend stay on 2nd or third floor! Rooms are nice and clean! It is worth to pay a little extra to get the suite! Its a lot bigger and quieter and even has a hair dryer! Beds are firm but still able to sleep without too much issue! Has elevator, good wifi and good blackout curtain! The cleaning ladies like their tips! 24 hour front desk! No bathtub shower only with adequate hot water! Windows of the room needs to he cleaned on the outside! 2 min walk to beach! Many restaurant bars around! Overall i find the quality of the hotel very good for the price! Air conditioner works well

Friendly boutique style hotel with lots of charm. Great location, about 2 mins from the beach, walking at and shopping malls, the area is in the entertainment area and there were great cabaret shows in the area. The hotel was so clean, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the WiFi was fantastic, and all rooms had great amenities, fantastic value for money, I will certainly be back!

The only positive thing about this place is it's central location. You can walk to many shops and restaurants in the center of Pattaya. However, there are many gay bars and shows in the neighborhood.
The room smells like cigarettes and the windows are small. I asked for the room service and the cleaning lady washed the coffee cups with the same gloves she used to wash the toilet. She didn't even bother bringing me washed cups. She washed them right in the bathroom sink!
They calim there's a gym in the hotel but there's none. I've already requested hotels.com for compensation.

Clean hotel with polite staff and basic necessary amenities and conveniences, such as lift/elevator, tour assistance, a small fridge and TV inside the rooms, along with ceiling fan and aircon in good working condition.

There are thoughtful touches all around the hotel and on the walls.

Note that this hotel is located in BOYZ TOWN, which some people might not like.

Other than that, the location is good and convenient.

PS: The bottled water inside the fridge are free (as it should be), as is the case with complimentary tee and coffee.

Staff all very, very helpful and good humoured, always smiling and happy. Great service, very good rooms. Decided to stay another week and upgraded to a suite.

You are in the Gay part of town BUT ur centrally located and if you dont try to go to bed before 3 am, youre good. DONT DRINK ANYTHING IN THE REFRIGERATOR...only down side, i got charged for mineral water which looks like regular water. Just spend the 10 to 15 Baht and buy your own. It was perfect location to get to everything and you can walk to all the night life.

Landmark location!

It is in BOYZ TOWN, which is the gay men area. I had no issues or concerns being a hetero man there. Super close to the beach, like a 2 minute walk. Walking street is like a 3 minute walk.

It's in a landmark location so it's super convenient for cabs, motorbike drivers. I got lost a few times being intoxicated and i just tell them BOYZ TOWN and they all know where that is.

Quiet rooms, daily maid service, i would def stay again. But, if you're someone who is uncomfortable around gay men because you're bigoted, it may be for you.

Copa is juat another Budget hotel.

The only advantage of staying in Copa is it is close to the beach. And rooms are large and nice.
It has idiotic, non-friendly reception guys. Do not even have plates to offer to the guests, if guests bring foor from outside. They have best line to utter is \"No Have\". Anything you ask, guys have a standard reply.
Place is surrounded by gays, hence quite uncomfortable for straight people.

Although the hotel is located on a 'Gay street' and most people are male gay - the staf where very friendly and helpfull . The hotel is very good compared to its price . It is right in the middle of everything . Just 5 min walk from the walking street. It is a little loud untill 2am but it didnt bother me as i was going to sleep later . If you are a gay man you will love this place .

My expectations were based upon a long relationship with Robby & Ian & the Cafe Royale staff.I hadn't been there since their deaths & the dividing of the hotel.When they were alive you always saw maintenance men around,the fact that I never saw one in 15 days explains all the paint chipped off the bathroom door & the major amounts of paint chipping around the curtain area under the air conditioner & the brown stains all over the entry way (looked a lot like someone had tried to wash off blood & gave up). The pic of the terrace is deceiving to me because I remember sitting on that terrace drinking and eating appetizers with so many friends.Gone is the food and service. Gone also is the parade as Boyz Town is dying. Ironic to me that Throb and Splash have been replaced by one bar with the tank still full of water but no show & appropriately named Castro because it reminded me of watching the real Castro die in the 80's. They didn't always hire guys who spoke perfect English but the personnel who served the public were taught enough to understand the guest's needs.Not even close now.I read some of the negative reviews before deciding to stay here; blaming a lot of the problems with guest who had either unrealistic expectations or maybe it was their attitude.Wrong again! For the neighborhood,it was a clean property @ a low price.The loss of the Cafe Royale kitchen can not be overstated.Phones? useless if you're expecting to make or receive a call. I will not stay in Boyz again

This hotel staff is unsupportive, I had incident in room where stranger have taken money from my room and hotel staff don’t want to call even police. I have contacted police but they said they can’t do much as I suppose to not allow stranger Enter in my room. Location is very terrible and all gay and lesbian bar surrounding hotel. Whole night loud music even not able to sleep in hotel. Room, toilet and entire hotel very congested and not recommended at all. Not sure how Expedia can list such terrific hotel in list :-(

Staff was friendly and helpful however, my only downside was that the TV's in the room are old and basic and need updating and that the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Sometimes when showering the water would also go hot and cold. But overall I had a pleaseant stay.

An Ideal Place for What I Came For

I had an Executive Suite and it was comfortable, spacious and clean. It was right in the area of town I wanted to be. The AC and WIFI worked. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I would likely stay again if I were ever to return to Pattaya. Close the the Walking Street and the Beach as well.

The deluxe room on the 3rd floor had no drainage in the bathroom, it seems I was to blame for this when the shower area water spilled over into the toilet area , for God’s sake get a drainage system and stop blaming customers , asked me to pay a surcharge for spilling coffee on their sheets, plus surcharge for guests

Being a single lady and clearly booked in to the wrong area I can only say that every single staff member treated me like a lady 👠🎒👒🕶💃From the word go with a lot of respect, every attempt was made from food to entertainment to sight seeing that I was safe and looked after. I feld so looked after and special. Good teamwork fron reception to entertainment right up to where I had to catch my bus back to Bangkok. Thank you and I spesial thanks to Thaiyong😘 I’ll be back. Good and cheap for a couple of nights.
Friendly staff and easy check in.
Got a free upgrade to a larger room.
The hotel is old, but considering the price and location it's good.
I was about to leave 5 stars review, but two things bugged me: I found a huge cockroach in the batchroom and on the checkout I was charged 300THB for two bottels of water, a Kit-Kat and mini bottle of red wine which I consumed from yhe minibar. A bit overpriced.
Otherwise good experience.
