Pictures in website is not what the hotel offers: no spa on sie, no phones in rooms, no daily room cleaning, free breakfast is a joke and noisy teenagers in pool , lost key card has a charge and review of high rating is totally a misrepresentation of what the website says staff is excellent but that's the only compliment I could say.

DO NOT PLAN A STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. House staff is non responsive and the in-house reservation process does not coordinate with hotels.com/Expedia. Very disappointing to plan a trip from halfway around the world only to find out hotel staff is unable to accommodate you on holiday.

There two adjoining properties under construction, hence noise during the day.

Very good stay - hotel is clean

Hotel is 10 minutes walk to Alona beach. Unfortunately, there is no shortcut to the beach so we have to walk around. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the area.
The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. We reserved the family suite and it suited us, a party of 5 + a toddler. The breakfast was ample and good enough, the swimming pool was also good and clean, and staff service was very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good stay near Alona Beach

I stayed at the hotel for 1 night with my boyfriend. The resort is quiet and well-designed. The room is big and swimming pool is also nice. It located near the main tourist area though it is in a small lane with sandstone road ( hard to carry suitcase). Alona Beach is in walking distance. Overall, It was a nice stay.

Very nice hotel, clean and tidy ! The staff were welcoming and helped us when we had questions. The pool is clean and the hotel is well located.
Only the drinks from the pool bar weren’t so good, but that’s a small detail.

I really recommend this hotel as all the rooms are facing the pool and has a balcony so the view is pretty nice.

Nice and Clean. Staffs are very accomodating. Pool was cleaned everyday. Location is about 100meters to the beach which is not advisable if you are not fond of walking. But for us, we enjoyed walking on the way to the beach to look for stores nearby. No slippers provided. We have to ask for towel replacement even if they already made up the room. breakfast is typical. we will surely come back.

Superb staff, very helpful and friendly, was nice and quiet despite most of the rooms seemingly full we always got a spot near the pool when we wanted. Room was great very spacious only slight gripe was the slightly blocked drain in the bathroom basin and it did smell somewhat of drains in the bathroom. Prices were good for food and drinks and they very kindly sorted us a takeout breakfast on one of the days we were leaving for a trip before breakfast. Good location, not as close to the beach as it looks on the map but still only a 10 minute walk.

Fooled by location

We booked the resort mainly due to its proximity to the beach. It wasn't until we arrived that we were told that you had to walk the long way around to the beach as there was a private resort we must pay to cut through to go directly to the beach. Instead of what looked like a 3 minute walk it was more like 10 minutes.

Location:
Other than what I stated above it was in close proximity to the main shops in Alona Beach and was quite convenient. It is on the end of a very dodgy looking gravel side road which was not very pleasant when traveling by foot to the shops/beach.

Facilities:
The pool was well maintained and kept clean. There was however, a general smell of chlorine throughout the resort. Poolside bar was cheap and nice, but the service was VERY slow.

Rooms:
The bathroom smelt very bad and we had to get it cleaned again right after we checked in. The bathroom itself was generally clean but there was a nasty scent like cat urine throughout the bathroom. Even if cleaned every day, towards the night the smell would come back. It seemed like it may have been a sewerage related issue. We had friends staying in other rooms in the resort who did not have these issues. The rooms were generally well maintained but not as clean as I would have liked. There was dead bugs and hair scattered in corners of the rooms and inside the provided wardrobes etc.
The beds were not fancy but was quite comfortable.

This hotel is small, quiet and good value for money. It's about 5-10 minutes walk from the beach but that's great, it makes it a quiet stay at night and only a short walk to the beach which comes alive in the evening. The only downsides are they do not supply hair dryers and sometimes the water would cut off in the morning but that's to be expected really for the location but the supply would return after a few minutes. But all in all we really enjoyed our stay here.

This property has amazing staff. Rooms are clean
My only issue is with the 8am to 6:30pm construction next door to the hotel. If you get out and do things all day,you won’t be bothered but you can’t relax except on weekends.
It can’t last forever so ask before booking
We weren’t offered any compensation like we have at other properties when this sort of situation came up. Not even a free cocktail.

this hotel is quite good compare to its price! Staff are goods as well but the towel is provided only one (for each) a day and no amenities except toothpaste and shampoo.

Perfect location.

Easy walk from the main drag and beach or super cheap tricycle if you felt lazy, it's tucked away so it's very tranquil.
Clean and spotless rooms overlook the pool, it felt lovely coming back to it and the staff are lovely. Breakfast is good.

We had a nice stay in the hotel. It was secure, peaceful and we appreciated the effort the workers had put in the garden. The pool area was our favourite. We didn't like our room, as it was rather dark, uncomfortable and not cozy at all. Luckily we had a nice terrace to hang out, but we never used our room to spend spare time, it just had a function of sleeping. Staff was rather helpful and friendly which made our stay more plesant.

Average hotel with rude front desk

Location isn't great to reach the beach. Room size is fine, although some nuisances like hot water not always been available, the door a bit difficult to lock because in need of repair etc. Mostly the front desk has an employee with a negative and confrontational attitude. This was particularly annoying when it came to discussing an issue. Although on the specific issue I did not expect a full resolution, I also didn't anticipate such a confrontational and poor attitude from the lady who's at the front desk and the management. It was very unpleasant and definitely worsened the overall experience. They really should learn how to deal with the customer and show more commitment to help him instead of just telling him in a slightly arrogant way, these are the rules, that's none of our business, as if your satisfaction does not matter at all to them.

The location is ideal. Not to far from Beach and not to far from the strip. The staff and the pool are the best. I thought the wifi was a little weak but out by the pool and in the lobby it was fiine. The restaurant is nice also there is a real nice one just outside the gate.

It is a nice and clean hotel.
The restaurant is not very good. It may be better to eat out.
You need to walk 15 minutes to get to the center of Alona beach area.
WiFi is hopelessly slow wherever you are in the hotel.

Nice hotel for family

The hotel is not beachfront which is the big downside, but a 8min to the beach. But the overall facilities of the hotel is great. You can cook your food, there is fridge and pool perfectly located at the center of the hotel. Its budget hotel but if it was a beachfront, I would give it a perfect score.

Great hotel with an excellent pool and gardens. Hotel staff are very accommodating helping with airport transfers. Rooms are very nice and clean with great bathrooms. The hotel is just a 5 minute walk to the resort and another couple of minutes to the beach.

Owner was rude and demeaning. We checked in at 6 pm and requested for late check out on the morning but was rudely declined. We then ordered breakfast which was served very late and when we pointed that may delay our check out the owner actually dismissed it and say 'get out by 11am'.

Nice, relaxing resort

We spent 5 relaxing nights here. We stayed in a Grand Suite room, which was perfect: the beds were comfortable, the balcony was exactly the size and the room had a nice sitting area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were pretty good and while there is no other food on site, there's an excellent outdoor grill place a 5 minute walk away. The pool, despite not being as big as it looks on the pictures, was big enough to swim around with and was maintained very well. The shower water situation, however, was a little painful. The water is solar heated with a backup heating element functioning between 5-8 am/pm. While we were staying, the weather was bad (no sun) and the heating element was broken, so in 5 nights, I had a single warm shower. It was frustrating to be paying so much for a room and not have any hot water. I understand that these things happen, but it would have been nice to have some sort of compensation (discount on the minibar perhaps). Otherwise, it was a great stay and we would stay again if we were assured that the hot water had been fixed.

Great hotel in quiet area with refreshing pool

Although the hotel wasn't on the beach, I thought it was close enough and it was near the nice part of the beach. The location is quiet and has a great local eatery just in front of it where they serve from pots, so good and so cheap! To get a nice soft bed you need to pay for the Super Double Deluxe, which is sooo worth it after a week traveling to other parts of Cebu and sleeping on rock hard beds! They also serve breakfast to your room with the Super Double Deluxe, which is a nice touch. The pool is refreshing but I would recommend more loungers. We intended to stay a couple days but stayed four more nights.

Für vieles gibt es strafzahlungen zb für mitgebrachtes essen und getränke. Frühstück sehr wenig auswahl. Nach jedem toilettengang war die toilette verstopft. Hatte 2 tage nur kaltwasser zum duschen bis es wieder funktioniert hat, tv nur auf koreanisch. Habe dann 3 Tage vorher ausgecheckt und bin in ein anderes Hotel, die haben nicht mal gefragt wieso ich vorher auschecke bzw. Ob alles in ordnung war. Zimmer ist aber groẞ und rauchen am balkon erlaubt.

Morgenmaden bør der dog arbejdes på - vi ventede lang tid, nogle ordre blev glemt, og hvis man ikke spiser æg eller ris, bliver det ret kedeligt med ristet toastbrød og vandmelon.
Der hænger mange skilte med at man får bøder for forskellige ting, fx at man ikke må tage noget spiseligt, som ikke er købt på hotellet, med. det ødelagde lidt stemningen, for vi var hele tiden bange for at gøre noget forkert.

Mycket trevligt hotell i lugnt läge.

Trevligt hotell med fin pool och välskött trädgård med bra läge utan störande stadsljud och på gångavstånd till Alona stranden. Stora fina rum med helt Ok sängar samt rent och snyggt överlag. Har man frukost som ingår rumpriset så får man av någon konstig anledning inte välja mellan alla alternativ, inte ens om man betalar extra, trots att det endast skiljer 20 peso.

Var extra noga med att kolla handdukar och sängkläder vid ankomst så att de inte har fläckar som inte gått bort i tvätten! Om det finns - dokumentera det nogrannt!! Vid utcheckning kan ni annars bli debiterade enl. en för detta ändamål särskild prislista!

숙박을 하지말라고 권유하고 싶다

사전에 항구 픽업서비스를 요청하고 컨펌을 하지 않는 상태에서 차를 렌트해서 갔더니, 기사가 항구에서 기다렸다고 하면서 페널티600페소를 요구하였다 확정을 하였으면 기사에 대한 정보와 만나는 방법을 고객에게 알려주어야 하지않나? 아무런 연락도 주지않고 무조건 돈을 내라고 하였음. 또한 숙소에 전화기도 없고 와시파이도 되지않음, 직원들 태도도 상냥하지못 함

너무 좋았어요!

2박3일 동안 편안했습니다. 친철하시고 3층이였는데 가방도 들어주셨어요ㅎ 호핑시 미리 말씀드리니 조식도 샌드위치도 챙겨주셨는데 너무 맛있었어요! 리조트 입구는 골목안에 생각보다 들어가야 했지만 불편하지는 않았어요~ 알로나비치는 걸어서 10분정도인데 오토바이(?)타고 다녔어요ㅎ 저녁에는 벽면에 도마뱀이 붙어 있었지만 천장에만 있고 방에는 전혀 없었어요~ 문만 잘 닫고 다녔는데 벌레는 없었어요. 아! 개미는 조금 있었는데 아마 망고스틴때문 이였던거 같아요ㅠ 첫날에만 몇마리 있었어요. 전체적으로 깔끔하고 가격대비 너무 만족했습니다! 끝방이라서 그런지 와이파이는 잘 안타졌어요ㅠㅠ 조식은 그냥그래요..샌드위치는 최고!

第一天入住時，連上wifi後沒多久，wifi就無法使用了，晚上櫃檯沒人，直到隔天早上反應，下午才修復，隔天還突然停電.... 貼心的是早上要跳島來不及吃早餐，飯店可以幫你外帶，退房那天，因為睡過頭30分鐘，被酌收了1200ph的 late check out fee.... 還請各位入住的朋友多多注意

Отель находится в 5 минутах ходьбы от пляжа, на тихой улочке, в стороне от шумных заведений. В шаговой доступности магазины и кафе. Персонал дружелюбный, запросто разрешили воспользоваться их цветным принтером. Номер просторный и чистый - нам достался на первом этаже, рядом с бассейном. За 5 дней нашего пребывания постельное бельё и полотенца меняли один раз. Кондиционер, холодильник, минисейф. Есть миникухня со всей необходимой посудой, без проблем можно приготовить завтрак. Завтраки отеля не пробовали, так как рядом есть много кафе с лучшими ценами. Бассейн чистый, максимальная глубина ~2,5м. Рядом с бассейном есть отдельная корзина с чистыми полотенцами. На пляж все ходят через отель Alona Tropical Beach Resort. Всего один раз охранник того отеля сделал вид, что он не зря там сидит и стал требовать пропуск для прохода. Обещания предъявить пропуск в следующий раз на ломаном английском было для него достаточно и искать обходные пути ни разу не пришлось.
Недостатки:
1. На переулке, ведущем к отелю, есть неосвещенный неровный участок дороги протяженностью 10 метров, который вечером приходится подсвечивать телефоном :)
2. В нашем номере еле дышал WiFi, приходилось выходить к бассейну - там уровень сигнала лучше.

Déçu et victime d'un vol

La chambre était correcte, le petit déjeuner faible. Un café quasi imbuvable.
Un gros soucis. Je me suis fait voler mon porte monnaie contenant mon argent français dans ma valise( un peu plus de 40 € et mon alliance). En arrivant le coffre ne fonctionnait pas. J'avais mis toutes valeurs dans la vilise fermée à clé. Quand le coffre a été réparé, j'ai mis les valeurs dedans en oubliant le porte-monnaie dans la valise. Il n'a pas été oublié pour tout le monde.La réception n'a pas cru bon de rechercher qui avait commis le vol. Pourtant peu de personnel est rentré dans la chambre.
L'hôtel n'est pas très bien situé. Alona beach est très très ddécevant. PLus de plage ou presque. Circulation chaotique, urbanisation anachique.

이틀 예약을 하였으나 보홀에 태풍이 와서 항공선박이 모두 결항. 취소불가상품인 관계로 둘째날 어렵게 갔습니다. 물론 첫날 환불은 불가 하였으나 2박 가격에 하루를 보내도 괜찮은곳 이구나 할정도로 좋았습니다. 체크아웃하는날 호핑투어 나갈때 짐을 맡겼었고 다녀와서 수영장 옆 샤워 시설을 사용 했습니다. 환복도 화장실에서 가능했습니다.
거리상 비치랑 가까우나 입구쪽으로 가기위해선 15분정도 걸어야하는 불편함은 있지만 조용한 곳이기에 그래서 가족여행이라면 추천합니다.
