There are two hotels on the property, the Hennan Alona and Hennan Tawala. We stayed at the Tawala, but beach access is through the Alona's beach club. We were told we couldn’t use their pool or most beach facilities.

With our flight delayed by more than 3 hours, the hotel told us that upon checkout, we could walk around the property, but not go in the pool or beach. It’s nearly 90 degrees out so we walk around in the hot sun, or sit in the lobby.

And they made sure to disconnect the WiFi the moment they processed the checkout and the hotel doesn’t offer free WiFi in the common areas.

BTW, the coffee is terrible and the buffet breakfast is mostly bland food that isn’t even really warm, even though they’re under heat lamps to in chafing pans.

Potato wedges and omelettes were basically room temp. None are made to order. You’re better off going off property for breakfast, even though they included it in the room price.

The staff is always super friendly and polite, they get a 5 star rating. The hotel itself, maybe a 3.

Henann is very renowned hotel chain and this place was very nice, clean, cozy with cheerful/gentle staff. I enjoyed my stay here so much.
One thing was the swimming pool was a bit smaller than expected, warm pool was not filled with warm water, the beach was a bit far away - we had to go out of the hotel and walk for 5-10 minutes through the Henann Alona Beach area.
Other than that everything was very good.

This resort was amazing for covering all the right things. The room was very clean, the staff were very accommodating and their breakfast buffet was excellent. I have been around the world and this resort has shown me that there can always be a place out but this is as great as it gets!!! The staff are making sure that you are enjoying your stay! I can’t wait to back and enjoy the tasty food!

But the TV in all 5 rooms we booked was very disappointing. They should upgrade to smart tv, the cable channels had poor signals giving off a very bad sound quality, not a joy to stay in the room for long. Had to force ourselves to go out in the rain as there was no reliable room entertainment

From the check in to check out everything is a cash grab. Literally worst value of any place ive ever stayed.
From charging $7/ person for the gym to over $50 per couple per day for the neighboring pool. They tried to stop me from bringing in outside food because they have room service (with limited options that ends at 9pm) and the wildest part they charge you $7.50 if you have leftovers at breakfast buffet... i dont even know if thats legal. lol
pool was meh, food was meh, decor in the rooms are weird and cheap. If you want a super loud, rip-off of a hotel, this place is for you.
I will say the workers were great however... just following the horrific policies put in place by a company that seems like its going bankrupt or something.
bugs in room even on the 4th floor...

I was surprised by the kind of breakfast that was somewhat less than the price.
I stayed at other hotels too, but I was surprised by the small number of types for the price. If I can't increase the type, I think it would be reasonable if I cut the price in half.

I would highly recommend the Henann Tawala Resort to anyone who wants to stay in a hotel that sets very high service standards and excellent facilities.Location is perfect,close to lots of eateries and some shopping.The rooms are very clean,modern and have everything that you need.The resort’s grounds are well maintained so are all the pool areas.From the time you check in to the time you check out you are really looked after.A special mention to the front desk staff who went above and beyond to make my Birthday a special one during my stay.I am very impressed with this Resort and give it a 10/10.Well Done

I stayed at this resort for 7 nights and was very disappointed with how a serious hygiene issue was handled. On the second day, I began experiencing itching. When I reported it to the front desk on the third day, they simply handed me a single-use ointment with no real explanation or concern.

That evening, my friend also developed itching and signs consistent with bedbug bites. The hotel didn’t offer a solution—we had to directly request a room change ourselves the next morning. Although they agreed to move us, we had to carry all of our luggage without assistance. This completely disrupted our morning plans and added unnecessary stress.

For a resort of this level, I expected much better cleanliness and guest service. It was a disappointing experience, and I hope the management takes this issue seriously and improves their hygiene standards and customer response.

I recently lost an immediate family member just days before my scheduled booking and my request for cancellation was declined. I was charge two extra guest at overnight rate in the room after 11pm check-in . ( could have offered prorate if they understand )., And additionally charge two breakfast meal ( normally they give free breakfast to guest) . The resort is beautiful & so well maintained.
The buffet breakfast is superb, there is so much variety & well curated menu.
The staff were professional & always courteous & respectful.
We had a fantastic room, adjacent to the pool. The only thing I did not like is the signing of the statement that prohibits the consumption of food from outside the premises. We love our fruits, we were not able to enjoy them while we were at Henann.
