The property is not well maintain. Under staff. The room specially the ceiling has a lot of stain. No wifi. No tv to watch. The beach is not accessible. We and my family did not enjoy staying there

Despite having an excellent location and concept, the overall management was completely lacking.
There were very few staff members on site, and no proper services were provided.
I believe it is highly problematic to operate such a great facility with poor management while still accepting guests.

I truly believe that this was once THE spot in Panglao. However, we are terribly dissatisfied with our stay.
The contact number they provided was not reachable until the day of our arrival. The van that was supposed to pick-up guests left without the remaining passengers, therefore us. Upon our arrival we were greeted by overgrown grass, dead trees, poorly maintained facade. The main lobby was closed and we were directed to a make shift office in one of the villas. The person who greeted us did not know how to speak English and could not assist us with our inquiry about the resort facilities and spa services. She was not wearing a uniform or a name tag therefore we cannot determine if she was a staff. Finally, another person came in and informed us that check-in is not until 2PM, so we gladly proceeded to the restaurant. From our time of arrival, there was another family that came before us. We ordered lunch but it took an hour and a half for our food to come out. Mentioning again, that there’s only one other family with us. There were no servers on site and if there were they look very unhappy to be working. Check-in time. Although the room is spacious it lacked the vibe. The curtains were heavy and dusty. The ceiling had several watermarks from poor AC piping. The fridge was moldy. An open bottle wine from previous guest. Ugh! I think this entire place was just a missed. It was one issue after another. But there were some serious hazardous things at the resort.

This property has a certain charm, is very atmospheric with pretty gardens, but seems passed its prime. The room we were given smelled strongly of mold, the private pool was too gross to swim in, the small beach was not inviting and everything generally felt decrepit, dirty and in poor condition. After complaining and showing staff our issues with the room, we were eventually moved to another one which was much better. Our experience wasn't great but some may like it and staff was responsive. Seemed very over priced despite private pool.

Let me start by saying I regret spending so much money to a place that is run down and broken. This place definitely has seen better days. The ambiance is great till you see a broken lamp or a pool not working.The beach was dirty and was muddy. The toilet was not working at times and the jet from the bubble bath was not working. The husband and I needed to put something in the safe and we called them about and we checked out already and the safe was still not fix. The smell from the rooms are so bad. I have bad asthma and I had to open up the windows but some of the screen from the doors and windows have holes so now you're infested with bugs. Our room had a bunch of little spiders inside the room as well. It was just a horrible and nightmare of a stay. We sprayed the room atleast twice a day with bug repellents. We stayed here for a 10 year anniversary and for a 5 star resort they could not accommodate a special night for us. I've worked hospitality before and this is absolutely a nightmare. They do not change the beddings unless you asked them too. It's like why asked for it to be clean if you're not going to put new sheets? Especially, bc of the bugs I wanted it change but you have to ask. With the money I paid thinking it would be a nice 10 year anniversary villa was absolutely the worst decision I made

The front desk, young reception was not professional and looked unpleasing. She does not fit to this expensive and luxurious hotel. Other staffs were all professional and kind.

Very terrible room and service. The room we got is totally different from Expedia (sofa beds in living room vs. single beds in loving room). The GM and staff refused to offer any help, but asked us to coordinate with Expedia ourselves. Plus, we made the booking (non refundable) and then got email for \"compulsory\" nye dinner of usd 170 per person. The service attitude is \"patient but useless\", and GM basically said they dunt care about social media reviews. The entire experience is very disappointing and I'm feeling cheated / trapped.

All was perfect. II really dislike only that You get a bill at the restaurant. Carrying Cash or Credit Card with sou at a beach and pool place is the horror. The restaurant should clear the bill with the hotel.

Nice location. A bit tired and needs more water in gardens as very dry. Not sure if there is water problem on island. Entrance road very rough but looks like updates are happen. Has potential to be good place but lots of work needed on facility and staff training

The staff was outstanding and the villa beautifully located with spectacular views. Attention to details prevents a more positive review. Our under the sink cabinet door was hanging loose; tiles in the infinity pool cracked and some missing; pool deck tiles broken, etc. The little things that add up and cause a less than rave review.

A perfect place to relax

Hands down one of the best resorts I've been to! Each private villa comes with its own balcony lounge area, private pool, and my favorite, a very relaxing open air 2 person jacuzzi bath tub. Best of all is the warm hospitality and first class service of the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They anticipate your needs before you even ask. With a limited number of villas, it is never crowded.
Eskaya is a perfect place to relax.

One of the Best!

The staff are pleasant, and very accommodating. We just have a few comments, there was no welcome fruits when we arrived just what was written on there web page, the bar was not refilled my kids are looking for chips and chocolates... Needs improvement on the cleanliness of the Villas.The main pool also needs improvement. They should add choices of food during breakfast . But my kids enjoy the pool and the whole villa itself. It was a fun filled weekend for all of us. Thank you Eskaya staff. We loved to stay again :)

True haven

Of all the places I've visited, and all the hotels I've stayed at, Eskaya in Bohol is one I would call a true haven. There's something special in a place where anything is possible, any request is granted. Wholeheartedly granted. It was as if my friends and I were their only guests! When the staff knows you by your first name soon as you arrive, they know you prefer warm water rather than iced and they serve it soon as you sit for your meal without you asking, and they stand outside and wave goodbye when you leave as if they stand at their own front steps waiting for your return...you know you've found a home away from home. Once inside your private villa (we stayed in GV16), you can't help but feel the opulence. They have crossed their T's and dotted their I's. It felt like home. There's so much to see and do in Bohol, but at the end of the day, coming \"home\" is something we looked forward to. Having around Andrew Fernandes, their resident manager; Manuel, the front office manager; Jun, the restaurant manager; Nash, the driver who picked us up and set the tone of what to expect not just from the resort but of the entire island, Nash gave meaning to \"when first impressions last\"; Reggie with one G we called him, who was present anywhere you turn as if he was your sidekick ready to help; and the rest of the staff: Lorna, Antonio, the housekeepers, the staff at the spa, the trainees... they all made our first visit to Bohol hopefully, one of many more.

8.5/10 for Eskaya

Beautiful resort..great location... amazing villas ..many with a private pool. Staff very helpful ..Food in restaurant was ok..filipino food was excellent ..western style dishes need to be improved though ... melted cheese on everything. During our stay ... typhoon knocked out main electric ... which is common in phils ..but Eskaya generator then failed ...leaving us with no power for whole day... unacceptable for a resort charging over 20k php per night. Just as we checked out it happened again....
Aside of this i would certainly stay at Eskaya again .... out of typhoon season tho lol ... its a luxury resort ...that costs ...but on balance its worth it.

Romantic dinner by the sea

The staff and F&B manager were very accommodating and service-oriented. But, we were disappointed with the maintenance of the resort's landscaping /gardens. Being the most high-end resort in panglao, we expected that there's attention to details. Weeds were growing in the grass and it obviously looked like the grass was not regularly maintained. However, we did enjoy our quiet, romantic dinner watching the sunset in the sea view deck. It was worth celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary there.

Best boutique hotel in Panglao Island

My husband stayed at Eskaya for 5 days. We had a Villa with a private infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Stunning room and view. Loves the outside bathrooms. Very attentive staff. The spa for massage was excellent. It was very quiet and so relaxing. This Villa made the trip excuse it has thre pool AND the ocean a few steps away. It was perfect. We will go back and stay here! Also, the town area is a 5 minute ride away!

The staff at Eskaya were fantastic and truly care that everyone has an enjoyable visit, not just to their resort, but to Bohol. The food at the restaurant was incredibly flavorful. Spa services, trust me I used all of them, were a delight. The location and privacy of the villas were peaceful and I look forward to the day I return.

What a place. The infinity pool is amazing, the room is big and luxurious.
To be honest, this is way out of our normal league, but we got this on an amazing promotion, so my impration is that of someone who is not used to this level of hotel.
With this accounted for, the hotel has great service and attention to details is top notch.

Great place for peace of mind

All the staff at Eskaya were extremely friendly! They cared about our stay and made us feel special. The beach at Eskaya is very tranquil, away from the bustling crowd which is great if you are looking for some seclusion. And the resort is only 10 mind tricycle ride away from Alona Beach, so it is not too far away from entertainment and food either!! We loved the resort! It does come with a high price tag! But the reward is absolutely wonderful!!!

安静的度假村

度假村的接送机服务很好，让人难忘，从用车到人员，都有别于其他酒店、度假村。
度假村很大，很安静，适合在村里休息。海滩没人，但是水草很多，不太适合游泳，不过，无边泳池很美而且人很少，大人孩子很喜欢。
早餐有美式、菲式和日式，量很大，吃过早餐后基本不用考虑午餐了。菲式早餐是我的首选，尤其是那个牛肉,好像叫Beef Tapa，和烤鱼，接近中餐。晚餐也不错，有乐队，点了著名的Anak,很美好的晚餐体验。
度假村比较贴近自然，所以免不了有蚊虫蚂蚁骚扰，适合喜欢安静、自然的人度假。

그외 시설너무 깔끔하고 저희는 빌라 씨뷰 풀빌라 묵었어요
킹베드 하나와 주방, 식탁있고 약간 쇼파같은 베드 2개있어 4명이 충분히 주무실수있어요~

Hôtel avec une super situation, mais vieillissant.

Hôtel très bien conçu, au calme idéal pour des séjours reposants loin de l'excitation de grands clubs. Le personnel est sympa, la nourriture correcte et les villas originales. Cependant deux ombres viennent ternir le tableau : une infrastructure vieillissante non rénovée (avec de plus une plage qui ne correspond plus aux photos...) et un déficit de services (bar de la piscine fermée, sports nautiques discrets et services du lobby restreints). Bref, un tarif haut qui ne se justifie plus...

전동카트사고

가족여행 5박을 예약하고 처음으로 필리핀보홀 에스카야리조트(그랜드빌라)을 가게 되었습니다.
삼일째 되던 날 아이들은 룸에 있고 남편과 인근 마트에 다녀오다가 호텔입구에서 전동카트(버기/골프카트)를 탔는데 커브를 돌다 제가 카트에서 떨어졌습니다. 운전하던 분은 당황스러워하며 스파실로 데려갔고 거기서 너무나 엉망인 응급처치를 했습니다. 왼발이 접질리고 왼발에 아스팔트에 떨어져 상처가 세군데가 났죠. ㅠ ㅠ 늦은 시간이라 일단 마무리하고 그 다음날 호텔매니져의 사과라든지 직원의 사과는 전혀 없었습니다. 여러곳의 여행을 다녀봤지만 이러한 태도의 호텔은 처음입니다. 서울에 돌아오자마자 너무 화가나서 글 올립니다.
다시는 가고 싶지 않고 추천하고 싶지 않은 리조트입니다. 가게되시면 꼭

에스카야 정말 너무너무 좋았어요. . .

그랜드빌라 가든뷰 이용했는데 씨뷰였으면 더 조았을텐데라는 아주 약간에 아쉬움과

부실한 조식? ㅋㅋ 조식에 목숨거는 스탈이라 ㅋㅋㅋ

이거 빼고는 다 조았어요

나머지는 몽땅 굿뜨!!!!

픽업및 기타 서비스, 객실상태, 메인풀과 전용수영장 물도 너무 깨끗하고,

조용한 전용비치에. . . 보안은 또 어찌나 좋은지

저희 투어 신청했을때도 에스카야 들어가기 너무 힘들다고 그러더라구요

힐링을 원하시면 에스카야 강추드립니다~~~~~
