First, the building does not have an elevator, and we were placed on the fourth floor. As both my wife and I are senior citizens, climbing several flights of stairs has been physically difficult and inconvenient for us. This arrangement has caused unnecessary strain.

Second, upon arrival, there was no toilet paper available in the washroom. I had to go down to the reception area to request it.

Third, when my wife attempted to use the bidet, a foul odor came out of it, which was very unpleasant.

Fourth, when my wife took a shower, the body wash reservoir was empty. I had to go down again to the reception to complain. Instead of sending staff to address the issue, I was given large refill containers and expected to fill the reservoir myself, which we found inappropriate.

Lastly, we were informed that the extra pillow we requested would require an additional payment. In our experience staying in other places such as Pangasinan, La Union, Bataan, and Tagaytay, basic amenities were readily available upon arrival. A minimum of four pillows was provided, and we were not required to pay extra for such basic comfort.

I sent the above to hotel manager and still waiting for response.

Hotel staff were good and generally helpful, cleanliness was average, unfortunately, the breakfast was very poor and disappointing in addition the hotel offers limited amenities, especially if you’re a coffee drinker they only give you 1 coffee sachet and sugar a day which affects the over all stay.

The staff were great. The location was perfect. The swimming pool was very beautiful. The room was kind of plain. Nothing that could serve as a desk for me to do a little work on. The worst thing is the electrical outlets. Every outlet in the room was the kind that takes the American 2 flat pins (which is fine for cell phone), but my laptop uses the three prong plug (2 flat and one round). The hotel had no such place to charge my laptop and they had no adapters for guests. i had to take a tuk tug for 4 kilometers to buy one.

Staff is lazy! We had to ask 3x for them to fix the soap dispenser in the room. Additionally the room cleaning was poor! We had a pillow that looked like something from a crime scene when the pillow case was removed. The following day the staff stared down my wife, as if she did something wrong even though I was the one who complained about the filthy pillow. Furthermore, when we were leaving our ride was late, the woman at the front desk when asked to call said no load, I asked her to ask someone else and we had to talk her into it because she said she had other work to do. Service is bad!

I loved being on the second floor with the room opening to the courtyard below. I sat outside every morning and had my coffee. Kettle included in the room. And a safe. The room is huge with a king bed, large wardrobe closet. Bed is very comfortable. I slept great and could hardly hear the street noise. There are two pools. A small one on one side of street where i stayed, and is the main reception hotel. The other side of the street has a bigger pool and the restaurant, and various other room on the ground floor only. The restaurant food is delicious. You can walk 8 minutes from the hotel to the beach. Theres a McDonalds and Jollibees there too. The beach is ok. Its a long white sand beach. Gorgeous. But not deep. Theres a lot of seaweed just in the water about 5 meters. So, you have to try and find an area where you can get out up to your neck. Water is crystal clear and the perfect temperature.
Only complaint i have is they charge you to use the gym at the hotel! Ive never heard of that! 300 pesos ($7.50) a day! Or 1000 ($25l for the week. The staff were friendly. I would stay there again.

I love the Regents as it’s close to all the amenities you need, and not to far from Alona Beach. Wifi and air con are excellent. Safe in the room for peace off mind. Two separate pools is great. Free water available. Loved my time, I’ll be staying here when I come back to Panglao.

Super Noisy at pool site there the rooms are, cause no guard closing the pool even we and many complaint.
From erly mornings...and to late night 01am with loud party pinoys. Toilet was over flowing, only 1 pillow in each bed, it was no over cotton blanket, only under blanket, same in all rooms. The bed table between the bed's dident have any bed lamp and no switch to lights, so when go to sleep we have to go up from the bex and then walk back in darkness.

The place is fantastic and peaceful, perfect for those who seek a less crowded and noisy environment. The rooms are generally clean, but the bed and blankets can be quite itchy. The pool is suitable for everyone, though it tends to get dirty as it's not cleaned regularly, and sometimes there are lots of bugs around. On the bright side, the food is excellent! The staff members are friendly, accommodating, and approachable.

Good location and helpful staff

Location was an easy 10-minute walk to Alona Beach, though part of it along the busy main road. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was a bit pricey for the area, but you can always opt out and head to nearby spots. Air conditioning was not great, and water in bathroom still had salty tang to it. Still overall value for money.

Basic accommodation with room size smaller than advertised by hotels.com. Reception said there were no bigger rooms. No pressure in the shower despite reporting the problem. Tap and shower water very salty. Only allowed one room key despite 2 people staying in the same room. Anything you want e.g. extra towel is all additionally charged for. Staff however always very pleasant. Overall overpriced and overrated for what it is. Disappointing.

Our first room was in the West building. The air was stuffy and there were little ants in our room. We upgraded to the main building and the room was pleasant with a nice view of the pool. We had to return to our original room before we checked out because our upgraded room was booked for our last 2 nights. Our original room was better this time except for the construction next door. They worked until after 10 pm and the noise vibrated in our room. The night manager was very helpful and let us stay in another room to sleep that night for no extra charge. Overall the service was great, they were very helpful and accommodating. Next time I will book the main building for the view of the pool and convenience of being on the ground floor.

The photos focus on the east wing and associated pool area. Looks great, but unfortunately the hotel is split into 2 halves on either side of the road.
Our requsts to have a pool view room were ignored and we were lodged in the west wing across the street.
Despite paying a rate equivalent to those of upper class hotels in Cebu, whereall facilitiesare included, our morning workout in the dilapidated gym was interrupted by a staff member asking for money as an extra daily cost.
Not advertised anywhere regarding hidden extras, we were not game to try the pool for another possible extra.....

Absolutely love this place

It is just such a wonderful place to stay in Alona. The staff are sooooo friendly and efficient. The pool is beautiful and whole setting is wonderful. It is set back 50m from the main road so there is no traffics noise but it is very close to walk to health food shop and great bakery. It is also only 5min walk to the beach front for great dinner options. I have stayed here 3 times now and would stay again.

Hotel has rooms on both sides of a street and the side with the pool they picture on the website is nicer. I have not stayed at other hotels in Panglao but this hotel definitely seems adequate compared to what I saw, excluding the resorts. Location is a short 5 minute walk to the party/beach. I would stay here again

our stay was enjoyable. The swimming pool was very helpful.
We felt that the buildings were tired and in need of some Tender Loving Care.

we felt that local tours were of very low quality. The diving/snorkling tour was a very flimsy event and had lots of wasted time after a long boat trip. i.e. visiting Virgin Island ...what was that sand bar visit about?

I love panglao regents park, from their friendly staff and neat room. They greet us whenever we pass by. Few minutes walk to alona beach, motorcycle rental beside it. They can store your luggage when you checked out. And you can use their shower if you need it while your stuff is in their storage. Just be mindful it easily calls ants whenever you leave anything, sweet or not. But overall i would recommend it.

We have stayed here before on two occasion and enjoyed. But this stay Service has gone down hill.
No staff on duty that gives pool towel or serve drinks day after day on a 3 day stay . Our room Air cond very poor and noisey. Only one room key available no spare to keep the faultly air con attemping to cool room while you are outside. The staff are friendly like all Phillipino. The pool is good. but resort poorly managed. You can easily find better accommodation . Sorry but we not be returning here next time.

Nice hotel and easy walk to Alona Beach

Staff were amazing and very friendly. The pool was terrific and the hotel was air-conditioned and had hot water. Being in the main building, we also had wifi in the room as well as cable TV.

The negatives are that the rooms (well our room at least which was a deluxe in the main building) was really in need of some repair and maintenance. There was a lot of surface mould in the bathroom and there was water damage on the ceiling on a couple sections of the cornice which also had mould and looked rather unpleasant.

The mattress was also rather worn and was definitely ready to be thrown out and replaced.

Overall though, no regrets and the hotel was nice and we would stay there again, but not my first choice only based on room and bedding condition because as we said, the pool was great and the staff were awesome. Also they have the best mango shakes we found in Panglao.

We had booked and paid for two nights stay, however when we arrived this Hotel only told us one room for two nights stay had been booked, even after we showed them the confirmation from Hotel.com they still refused to say that two rooms had been booked, them changing their story that one room had been cancelled by some mystery guest. This hotel even refused to contact Hotel.com, which was a toll free number, in the end we were able to contact Hotel.com ourself, they got it sorted but we ended up staying in a old dirty room, will never stay here again.

Luck of Water running into the Shower rooms, especially in the morning you cannot use the shower, water not coming up. some smells stinks in the water,
no Bidet. you'll need to request a pail. water on hotel was bit salty.
but room is fine. average room on my experience i'll give it 3*.

Clean up your act.

When booking this hotel you will see lovely pics of the resort style setting. When you check in you may end up in the “West Wing” and after double checking the fine print on my booking, yes I had booked the “West Wing”. I then checked for some info about the “West Wing” on WOTIF, nothing found. The room was nice and new, bathroom dirty, stinky and mouldy. The “West Wing” is basically an apartment block, small pool, plenty of concrete but NOTHING like the advertised building (over the road). To add insult to injury, one has to sit in the lobby to use the internet. (this was noted on WOTIF info). Upon check out I showed the manager a photo of the dirty bathroom, to her credit she acted instantly to resolve the problem.
In summary, false or misleading advertising can only lead to unhappy customers especially when one watches a tour group arrive (assume they have a budget rate) and they all check in to the real resort over the road.

Hotel in good location to shop, eat, walk to beach. We stayed in the annex across from the main hotel. I didn't know this when I booked but if I had I would have paid the extra to stay in main part. Annex is old and rooms depressing. The airconditioner made strange popping noises on and off all night. The rooms in the main building are around a very nice pool area. Very clean and several locations to eat; one with aircondioning..
Staff very polite and attentive. Food good. Happy hour starts at 3pm and lasts for hours!

Lovely resort, very relaxing and peaceful. Only around 5-10 mins to beach. Staff were so friendly, and so happy. Would def book here and recommend to friends. All the food was lovely too and very well priced.
