Excellent location on Alona Beach
Right in the action, but the rooms are set back so they are nice and quiet. Has a decent restaurant and fun bar at night with a band. You do not hear the band from the rooms.
Guestroom, spacious and clean. A good breakfast included. Excellent value for money.
Alona Beach is where everyone else on Panglao comes to at night

Fantastic Location, Literally entrance is from the beach. Excellent Customer Service, Great choice of food options.

Aloha Vida Beach Resort has the best food at the beach, even if you're not staying here I'd suggest you eat here. I ended up booking an additional night while I was staying there and they were able to keep me in the same room. I had a deluxe room on the third floor, even though it was a couple flights up it was the only room on the floor on that side of the building, (Room 9) I told the staff I was coming for my anniversary and they made the room up with flowers and balloons. Overall the staff was amazing and tended to our every need.

I would stay at Alona Vida again. It has beach access in a quieter area of Alona Beach. The room & furnishings are outdated but the air conditioner is new & the room is clean. There was always a big balcony in my room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The pool is a small kidney bean shape and good for cooling off in but noisy when busy. There is always live music in the evening.

I gave 4 out 5 for this resort. It is not convenient for elderly who has difficulty of walking to the of the entrance. It is difficult to go in and out from the resort to the main road; there is quite a walk from the drop off area. Otherwise, it will be an excellent resort for me.

300m walk to hotel front down a beach path so take that into account with your luggage.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and the electricity went out several times throughout our stay. Every time this happened, my husband would report the outage and they would reset the breaker. The only items plugged in and running at the time was the air conditioner and the hot water tank. It seemed to happen every single time one of us was in the shower and it was pitch black. Not an ideal or safe situation. My husband asked to speak with the manager and was told the manager was not in but the issue would be addressed the following day. No attempt to contact us was made by the manager or any other staff about this situation.

The hotel itself was located on the beach. It was close to plenty of restaurants and live entertainment. The live entertainment at the hotel played until about 11:00pm nightly. If you are looking for a quiet location to stay, this is not an ideal hotel. There is also construction going on at the hotel that we were not aware of. If you plan to spend time in the pool, it is noisy.

The hotel itself wasn’t dirty, but with the construction there was construction debris left in front of one of the rooms we had to walk passed. Paint cans, garbage bags, and other equipment was present until the last day of our stay. There was a guest staying at the hotel that smoked at the bottom of the stairways and discarded of his cigarette butts in the walkway. The pile of cigarette butts grew and remained in the same location for 2 days.

The staff are super friendly, which is a bonus when travelling. Free breakfast was great, so we had it late, and now it was brunch. Lots of restaurants to choose from for dinner, or the hotel has a great menu. Lots of vendors on the beach to offer their services for day trips, boats or by land. It was our second stay and will be back

5 day Bohol stay

The hotel staff were very helpful and lovely. Breakfast was good and they were very accomodating when you had to leave early for one of the tours. The room was clean and it was a nice touch to have some fresh fruit there for the first day. Pool was clean and the restaurant was good for dinner too.
The hotel is probably due for some simple renovations. Alona Beach was very busy, but good if you don’t mind some beachside hustle and bustle. Very central to the tours and lots of other restaurants and bars.

Family holiday. Greeted and assisted by lovely staff. Good sized room for 3 with balcony. complimentary fruit basket.
Cons: shower head broken, blanket very thin, dental single use-bristles get stuck in my teeth and tap by the pool smells when turned on.
Nice, enjoyable pool with shade to kill time.
Included breakfast was generous and tasty.

The resort is a bit of a hike along sand but if you have heavy bags porter will help. Location is great. Beach there. Plenty of options for eating out. Tours everywhere. Cleaners are great. Pool is lovely. Room spacious. All facilites there with plenty of room to spread your luggage & hanging space.

The room was just good enough to sleep and shower so you could go do other stuff. The staff were not very friendly and generally unprofessional. It’s a bit of a walk through sandy, uneven terrain with your luggage from where shuttles drop you off, be prepared to carry your stuff. Could see how it would be noisy if your room was near the front of the hotel near the bar/dining area.

Really noisy and no sound proof at all. You can hear all the noise from the room, mostly at nights when their own staff were singing, talking and laughing outside the room.

Overall, the place is right outside the beach and plenty of food places. Good for sleeping few nights if noise doesn’t bother you. But for that price, they’re plenty of better places nearby.

Beautiful panoramic view. There are restaurant/bars next to the hotel with live singers at night so it’s noisy until 11:00 pm. The bathroom needs renovation and bed is not comfortable.

Best place to stay in Panglao

Very clean, very friendly staff, great free breakfast, avoid the Alona Burger! It has a added ingredients in the Pattie’s to make it look bigger? It doesn’t taste like real beef. Overall, I think it’s one of the best place to stay in Panglao.

I was a guest in the Alona Vida Beach Resort recently. Prior to my arrival I contacted the hotel with a barrage of questions. Lhea, that angel took the time to answer everyone of my questions and made sure I was at ease. I had no more worries and made sure someone was waiting for me at the airport. So, I stayed for 6 nights and my time there was incredible. I booked the Panoramic Room and - WOW!!! I had the best view of Alona Beach. The room was big, had a refrig., hot water and good AC. All the staff were so kind and courteous. Sherime went out of her way each day to check on me. The restaurant was cozy with great food and drink selections. The live band each night were the best source of entertainment on the beach. Did I mention this is beach front property? Yes! I felt safe and was treated like royalty here. This hotel treats their guests with kindness, respect and compassion.

We enjoyed the hotel, a 3 star really but staff was good, pool tiny, food very good, band is awesome but they played the same songs each night and too many people asking to sing songs themselves that the crowd would turn and play with their phones instead tells you something, let the band play instead.

Very good location. Complimentary Breakfast choices were good, however some options were not available and substitution options not given. There was construction going on. We had reserved and paid for an ocean view room. Due to the construction not all the ocean view rooms were available at check in. The ones available were already occupied. We were given a pool view room. This was disappointing. No concessions were offered. Just a sorry sir for the inconvenience.

I tried to contact the property to have assist with transportation when I arrived Tagbilaren, but the number online just rang and rang and rang. No one answered. It was a landline number and there was no mobile number listed.

Water pressure is strong and there is instant warm water. Room is clean. Property is just a few steps from the shoreline. Free Breakfast is very good and w/in your allowance unless you want to eat more/addtl. charge. You got dining options for lunch and dinner. Staffs were very helpful especially “Judy” who was very knowledgeable and very helpful during our stay. Very commendable.
Now, The problem is check in. The local gov’t police won’t allow your car to go down the street to drop off your luggage. It’s a long walk down to the beach and It’s a long walk on the sandy walkway to the property. We’re just lucky that we only have our hand carry roller bags. It’s a different story if you have a check in/large luggage dragging it in the sand. Checking out was easy because the hotel property helped us with a hand trolley with our luggage.
Also, they have a live band that plays music until 11pm. You might request to have a room at the back of the property.
Overall, the hotel is nice and great for our budget.

Thos a hotel right on the beach. You actually walk along the beach to get there. Great property. In the middle of the long beach section. Room with balconyy was far enough from beach that party noise wasnt an issue.

Restaurant food was amazing and live band at night was perfect for the scene with dancing.

Would stay there again for sure!

Very basic room, not large, with curtains that partially cover the lighting from the outside. The air conditioner does the job and there is also a coffee set for personal use.
At night you can hear the music well from the beach - but it's nice and not disturbing. There is no direct access to the hotel by car so you have to drag the suitcase on the sand several tens of meters.
The accommodation does not include breakfast but you can have a decent one for about 12 $.
The staff are lovely, very sociable and happy to help.
The beach is very nice, safe and with a lot of happy people- locals and foreigners.

Kiva hotelli priimapaikalla rannalla. Kääntöpaikalta mihin kyyti jättää joutuu kävelemään laukkujen kanssa ehkä 100m rannan yläosassa olevaa vähän kovempaa hiekka-osiota pitkin missä pystyy vetämään perässä vedettävää ainakin jos on isot renkaat.

Pyytäessä sain huoneen hotellin hiljaisemmalta puolelta, eikä baarin äänet illalla juuri sinne kantautuneetkaan. Aamulla tosin naapurissa alkoi musiikit jumputtaa klo6, jotka sitten herätti.

Ensimmäisenä yönä vesi katkaistiin kokonaan, puolen yön jälkeen ei voinut enää käydä suihkussa. Aamulla jouduin mennä sanomaan kun ei vieläkään toiminut, ja selkeesti vaan käänsivät jonkun hanan päälle. Tosin sittenkin tuli vaan kylmää vettä.

Aamiainen kuului hintaan 375 pesoa ravintolan menusta, riitti just kahviin ja muniin tai pannariin. Aamiaista sai tosin odottaa joka aamu todella pitkään, 30min oli hyvä suoritus.
Ravintola on hotellin edessä joten upeat aamiaismaisemat rannalle. Wifi toimi ~ok, jopa rannalla aurinkoa ottaessa hotellin edessä.

Suosittelen kunhan saa hyvään hintaan. Itse maksoin n 115e/yö.. palveluiltaan ei ehkä sen arvoinen, mutta sijainniltaan kyllä.

Right on the beach front and with a nice pool and good accomodation. The only setbacks were poor Internet and although the hotel restaurant is nicely set by the beach, it is open to all beachgoers and so is always busy and noisy (especially as the majority of tourists in Philippines these days tend towards being raucous). The band in the restaurant in the evening ruled out any possibility of a relaxing dinner but may well suit those looking for somewhere that's always lively. Front desk staff were excellent, being very friendly and helpful.

A perfect stay!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and 3 days, it was perfect from start to finish. That's a very rare event. The hotel property is beautiful and comfortable, the room is flawless and the staff and owner are very kind and fun. It's right on the beach, the food and bev are super and the pool is very clean. This place has my highest possible recommendation and we plan to return.

The internet worked poor at best. Compared to other hotels in the area (which are about 50km from each other), the price was almost twice as expensive. The bar and restaurant are nice, but are easily accessible from another hotel. It has a pool, but the ocean is 50 km away. In essence, I payed 2x of other hotels in the local area that are one the beach.

Room was a nice size with with a balcony. TV system wasn’t working and can’t phone the receptionist because no phone system in the room and did not want to walk down the stairs. The pool wasn’t clean well. There were bugs and leaving floating. When checking out I was billed for breakfast because they said Expedia doesn’t have a deal with free breakfast which I later checked the Expedia site and said breakfast was included.
