Fantastic stay!

The only negative thing I have to say about this property is that I didn't stay longer. This was easily the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Breakfast was incredible, the restaurants were amazing, the hotel was gorgeous, the spa was other-worldly, and the staff did everything in their power to make sure I had everything I could have needed. I can't wait to come back and stay longer.

Wonderful 1 Year Anniversary Stay

My husband and I recently celebrated our 1-year anniversary at Seehotel Überfahrt, after getting married at their lake view restaurant “Fährhütte14” in June of last year.

Our experience was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

Their exceptional service and attention to detail truly stood out. They welcomed us with thoughtful notes and delightful treats, which added a personal touch to our celebration. Their commitment to excellence made our anniversary celebration incredibly special and brought back wonderful memories of our wedding day.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Top notch EVERYTHING! Staff is incredible, food was divine, location breathtaking…the only cons were the massage I had was not very good at all and the face rest for the beds hurt and made me get a headache. Also the mattresses are not soft or comfortable. Kind of a bummer since I enjoy a good rest on a vacation and a quality massage is very important to me. I left worse than I came as far as my back and neck were concerned. Other than that, wonderful place.

Exceptional hotel with perfect lakeside location

A hotel that fulfills everything you would expect from a leading hotel.

The support throughout the long weekend was extremely positive. The natural friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the entire hotel, and the fact that nothing seemed too much trouble all deserve a big compliment. We had a wonderful, large double room and enjoyed the lake view from our balcony. Note a single socket on the table is really not sufficient these days.

Breakfast deserves special mention. It was absolutely fantastic with everything you might ever ask for and all of the food was of the highest quality.

The spa area was huge with the largest indoor pool I can recall in my travels with various saunas, steam rooms, and quiet relaxation areas.

We only ate once in the hotel at the Il Barcaiolo which started badly when we were seated next to a family with a noisy child (and this was late in the evening 20:00). We were quickly moved after we asked, but, whilst the service was impeccable, we both found the food to be rather bland.

Special mention to whoever was responsible for the birthday cake and greetings which were waiting for us when we returned to the room on my birthday. It was a nice surprise, and completely unexpected.

I feel I should point out that the hotel charges EUR25 per day for parking which I think should be included in the room rates. We chose to park elsewhere on principle.

This is a very nicely appointed hotel, and I would definitely stay here again. I had a room with a Mountain View, although it was hard to see from the specific deck/patio/room I was checked into. The electric curtains did not work on the bed side of the room and only opened on the side of the room without the view. The fact that there were electric curtains was a great touch, but being able to manually open might be good if the switches are ever jammed up. I did not force them open/investigate that much.

The bathroom in this room was great. Nice clean tub, and the whole thing was clad in natural stone. Radiant heated floors, LED mood lighting in the ceiling and even the water closet. Only drawback was that the water temperature in the shower could not be controlled/hardware was broken. Fortunately there was a hand held tap as part of the bath configuration. A little disappointing to be taking a shower standing in a tub rather than the actual shower a few feet away, but I made it through. This could be a concern for a family/shared room with expectations of a rain shower like experience or privacy while showering.

All in all, impeccable service from the staff from moment of checkin, to room service delivery, to checkout. Staff are doing a great job of ensuring consistent quality of service at all times of the day. You really feel like you are living a vacation when staying here. Location is also beautiful. (Just keep track of who is breaking your stuff)

Luxurious Hotel !!

The hotel is perfection in every single aspect, location (in front of the lake), room size and decoration, spa and gym facilities, friendliness of staff, availability of car parking , variety of foods for breakfast , luxury of the lobby. The only minor negative thing is the A/C at room is only warm or cool air, no fully controlled A/C which could be annoying in hot summer days.

Wir waren erneut für eine Woche in diesem wunderbaren Hotel. Von der ersten Sekunde an, hieß uns alles und jeder in diesem Haus willkommen. Es ist unheimlich schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Zimmer sind luxuriös eingerichtet, komfortabel und top gepflegt, wie auch alles andere in dem Hotel. Das Personal ist total umsichtig, zuvorkommend und sympathisch. Es scheint niemandem etwas Zuviel. Alle Restaurants sind zu empfehlen. Die Lage des Hauses ist ein Traum. Bei uns ist es gesetzt, wir werden regelmäßig wiederkommen und uns wieder verwöhnen lassen.

Wir sind schon seit Jahren immer wieder gerne zu Gast in der Überfahrt und haben uns insgesamt wie immer sehr wohl gefühlt. Das einzige Manko in diesem Jahr war der neu umgebaute Badestrand. Hier befinden sich nun noch weniger Liegen als zuvor, was zu mitunter zu unangenehmen Auseinandersetzungen zwischen den Gästen bezüglich der Belegung selbiger geführt hat. Wir sind gespannt wie dieser Bereich im nächsten Jahr gestaltet sein wir.

Wohl der schönste Platz zum Verweilen am Tegernsee

Wir hatten als Paar eine richtig schöne Zeit am Tegernsee!

Das Hotel befindet sich in ruhiger Lage, aber zentral am See.
Der Service - Rezeption, Valet-Parking, Hotelbar, Frühstück, Restaurant Fährhütte, Zimmerreinigung - einfach sensationell. So freundliche und zuvorkommende Menschen, die ihren Job sehr gern machen, trifft man heutzutage eher selten. Ein dickes Kompliment! Wir haben uns vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag überaus wohl gefühlt und kommen mit Sicherheit gern wieder!

Einen Wermutstropfen stellt das Restaurant „Il Barcaiolo“ dar. Hier wird, und das ist in diesem Hotel wirklich eine absolute Ausnahme, nicht professionell gearbeitet: Jacke und Sakko werden dem Gast bei Betreten nicht abgenommen (hatten eine Sitzecke, haben die Kleidungsstücke zwischen uns abgelegt), Wein wird nicht nachgeschenkt (auch die anderen Gäste nahmen die Weinflaschen selbst aus den Kühlern), nach der sehr guten Vorspeise war der Hauptgang bei uns beiden kalt (Kommentar des Kellners bei entsprechendem Hinweis: „Gebe ich an die Küche weiter…“ - mehr passierte nicht!), die Bestellung einer weiteren Flasche Wein war - weil nicht mehr vorrätig - nicht möglich.
Alles in allem ein enttäuschender Besuch in diesem Restaurant, auch wenn das (kalte) Essen geschmacklich gut war.
Wie gesagt: Alles andere war spitze, vielleicht haben wir nur einen (sehr) schlechten Tag erwischt..,

Mein Aufenthalt war insgesamt zufriedenstellend. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Die Zimmer waren mittelmäßig und bei kurzfristiger Buchung nicht rechtzeitig fertig. Shampoo und Handseife waren unzureichend / zu klein. Der Parkplatz war kostenpflichtig, und für zwei Personen gab es am Abend nur eine kleine Flasche Wasser. Der Empfang war unpersönlich und mittel freundlich, ohne Willkommensgetränk trotz später Bereitstellung des Zimmers nach 15:00 Uhr.

Es handelt sich um deprimierendes Beispiel schlechten Geschmacks und niveauloser Darstellung krassen Materialismus, den man schon überwunden glaubte. Die Hauptteile des Hotels prunken in falschem Gold. In den Restaurants hat Frau Jagdfeld - wie immer - ihr Mischung aus IKEA und Lumas hinterlassen; schlimmer geht es kaum! Das Personal ist sehr bemüht (teilweise), kommt abe rwegen Unterbesetzung nicht hinterher. Zum Frühstück muß man eine Stunde einplanen.

Super flot hotel med overordentlig god service uden det virker anmassende på nogen måder. Der er flere restauranter på hotellet herunder en 3-stjernet Michelin-restaurant. Alene den er et besøg værd.
Overdådig morgenmad, hvor der bare ikke mangler noget. Omgivelserne er også noget for sig selv - hvor der er mulighed for mange skønne naturoplevelser. Alt i alt et hotel som kun kan anbales.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Einrichtung etwas abgewohnt. Tagesdecke und Zierkissen fehlten, wurden wohl vergessen (aber das störte nicht). Das nachhaltige Heiz-Kühlsystem funktioniert bei heißen Sommertemperaturen nicht gut und Klimaanlage gibt es nicht. Artikel im Bad alles in kleinen Plastikfläschchen, großer Spender an der Wand war leer, also nicht besonders nachhaltig. Außen- und Innenpool war sehr gepflegt. Frühstück war gut. Personal nett. Aber war schon in vielen 4Sterne Superior Hotels, die weitaus mehr zu bieten hatten.

Das Personal ist sehr, sehr zuvorkommend, das Hotel in Summe sehr schön. Unser Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick auf den See war ein Traum. Frühstück zu \"Stoßzeit\" etwas kompliziert organisiert, allerdings Corona geschuldet.

Hervorragendes Hotel in bester Lage. Hotelzimmer waren neu und mit sehr großzügigen Bad . Service hervorragend und tolle Restaurants. Die 5 Sterne sind absolut berechtigt und das in Corona Zeiten.
