I did not like he servuce in the breakfast. On Saturday 25.02 the hotel was full and there is only one coffee machine and it was defect. Also there was no many options in the breakfast menu. The workers were very helpful and nice.

charming, sweet spot

excellent location and lovely service . The young man who mans the reception at night is a local and he was most helpful , with suggestions of what to do around town. Very close to the train station, and the center of town. If you stay here you won't need to rent a car or take cabs.

I love this place the ambiance is great the bar being right at the lifts is probably why you always meet people. schliersee is just a great place excursions to the rest of bavaria and down to salzburg available the food and drink in the hotel and surrounding area is excellent. the weather in late sept early oct is usually good. this is not the cheapest of hotels in the area but it has a nice feel to it pool is fab parking free

Alpine wonderland.

Stopped here between it was Alpenclub. Would recommend to anyone who wants a base for an activity holiday or even just a quiet getaway. Awesome place. Lovely staff.

Superior Room - Very smoky

We paid extra for a Superior room, but the room was so smoky, that the smell was on our clothes some 5 days after leaving the hotel. Constantly had to ask for toiletries, and for the room to be vacuumed. Cleaners took our refundable water bottles which we were storing up to get refund at supermarket. Bathroom tile grout was black around shower, not nice. Bed linen and towels, not fresh, seemed a little worn out. Overall the Superior room could do with a makeover.

Got ripped off by the taxi the hotel provided to take us to Tengensee bus station, 15km charged €50 !! Spoke to local cream coloured taxis at the bus station they said max €30, still awaiting refund from hotel. The hotel deny any connection with the taxi company, but he presented some local trips on the welcome evening, was seen drinking/eating with management, and eating the guest buffet provided when we came to collect us, so well know to the hotel, and yet they overcharge their guest, very disappointed, I thought the hotel should look after their guests?

over priced!

the hotel was the most expensive on our holiday. but it was also the most disappointing. the hotel is in need of a refurbishment. the wifi is poor at best, and often non existent.

we waited for 25 minutes in the restaurant to order a drink, which when ordered never arrived. the waitress in duty that evening was over worked covering the drinks and dinner service. for some strange reason the bar seems to close when the restaurant opens! this makes no sense to me!

location-wise it's out of the town and remote unless you have a car to drive into town.

I felt over charged, even though we used our free night with hotels.com to pay for some of the charge!

Lovely visit to Schliersee

We had a wonderful stay at Alpenclub Schliersee. The rooms are large, and include a sitting area, a large bathroom with a tub, and we had a small balcony with a view of the foothills of the alps. The staff was polite and helpful. There's also a nice bar, a buffet style restaurant on site, and a spa that includes facials and massage treatments. Also available are an indoor pool, hot tub, pool table and a two lane bowling alley, so lots of activity onsite if you are bringing your family. There's a small lake that's about a 10 min walk from the facility. The small village is lovely, with several great dining options. If you're interested in hiking or biking Schliersee is a great spot with many hiking and biking trails through the lovely countryside.

Nice hotel, not \"stupendous\" as per other reviews

This hotel is OK. It is no earthly paradise (as some other reviewers seem to think), but it is (typically German) clean, comfortable and in a reasonable (but not A1) location in this beautiful but quiet area. Nothing wrong with it at all, but after my stay I did wonder about some of the really gushing reviews.

This is a nice hotel and obviously favored by Europeans with money. The price was very reasonable. What it is NOT is tucked on a mountainside in the Alps as their pictures and website would have you believe.

That aside, the staff was outstanding and the food reasonably priced. Very convenient to downtown and to the beautiful lakefront.

Wunderbar!

We cannot praise this hotel enough, after a fantastic stay. The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from the railway station, so although we had a hire car, we could easily have managed without. There are beautiful views, a lake to walk or cycle around and even a cable car to take visitors up into the mountains.

We had one of the apartments, which suited our needs very well. The rooms were spotlessly clean and we had everything that we required.

The hotel has a beautiful spa and pool - just the place to relax at the end of a long day sightseeing. We also made good use of the games room, which included two bowling lanes.

Food is excellent and good value, whilst the bar is staffed by one of the friendliest and most helpful bartenders we have ever encountered. He mixes a mean Margarita too!

Whilst the setting is wonderful, the hotel comfortable and well-equipped, the thing that makes this place really stand out is the quality of care that we received from the staff. Everyone made us feel very welcome and little touches, such as the delivery of the daily 'Morning Post' with information about what was happening, the weather forecast and the cocktail of the day helped us to plan our stay. The Receptionists are the best we have ever encountered; they all spoke excellent English and genuinely seemed to care about our needs.

We were very sad indeed to leave and our only wish is that we could have had longer at this very special hotel. We will be rebooking again soon!

fantastic service

we really enjoyed staying at Alpenclub. Great service, very friendly staff. We stayed at 2 other hotels during our germany/austria trip. Alpenclub ws by far the best place. Large and clean rooms. Food was good, but not exceptional. However prices was OK. The kids loved all the things to do, i e the ppol, bowling, table tennis etc. Great place for spendig 2-4 days.

We booked a one bed apartment last minute for our stop over to Italy and had a 2 bed apartment on the way back, What excellent value for money. i booked through Expedia and got an absolute bargain! The hotel itself was beautiful, The apartments were immaculate, we even had a welcome pack in the room with tea,coffee, milk etc to get us started. We used the hotels swimming pool too and it was fantastic. We only used the hotel as a stop over but I would definitely love to go back to the area for a longer holiday and would highly recommend staying at this Hotel. The staff were all very friendly and nothng was too much trouble.Beautiful scenery too. Plenty of local shops to buy food if you want to self catr or local restaurants all within walking dstance too

Great and Spotless Hotel

Me and my Girlfriend stayed here this month for a short weekend break. Our room was spotlessly clean, could not fault it at all, very large room with seating area, was very nice. Only bad thing about the room was the pillows but i'm sure you can sort that out. Only other dissapointing thing was the choice of food/late night snacks etc which stop quite early so stock up. Overall i was very impressed with the room, service and pool facilities and its in a great spot, very close to town. Well Recommended.

Wish We Had More Time

Situated in a picturesque Alpine village, this resort was a perfect base for our day trips to Munich, Salzburg, Hohenschwangau, as well as exploring the local area. Our two bedroom apartment was attractive and comfortable with a large balcony overlooking the lush green valley and foothills. The nearby lake was the perfect setting to watch the sun set and relax after a busy day. Breakfast was also very well supplied with a large selection of the usual fare, including an excellent quality of meats, cheeses and fresh breads. I highly recommend this resort if you don't mind driving through beautiful country settings and quaint Bavarian villages.

Hotellet er slidt, men det ser ud til man er påbegyndt en renovering - men der er RENT, kæmpe ros til rengøringspersonalet, så pyt det er slidt, når bare det er rent.
Vi boede i et af de små huse/lejligheder, og ja de kunne da godt bruge en make over, men der var rent.
Pool/spa området er ganske fint og igen rent.
Et sted vi sikkert kommer til at besøge igen på gennemrejse.

Ein zauberhafter Jahresabschluss

Wir waren am 31.12.2023 bis zum 01.01. zum Silvesterbankett im Karma Bavaria. Von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute unseres Aufenthaltes haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Tolles Personal, trotz großer Silvesterveranstaltung keine Anzeichen von Hektik o.ä. Alles lief Super professionell. Sektempfang vor dem Essen, ein ausgefallenes Menü, eine interessante Zaubershow, Feuerwerk auf der Terrasse mit Champagner und am Neujahrsmorgen wurde ein außergewöhnlich leckeres Frühstücksbüffet serviert.
Wir sind sehr dankbar, auch, dass wir eines der renovierten Zimmer bekommen haben. Im Vergleich zu 2017 eine enorme Steigerung.

Hotel im notwendigen Wandel...

Der Checkin lief ohne Begrüßung ab, sehr ungewöhnlich.
Das Zimmer war älteren Datums, wohl 80er Jahre.
Vorhänge hatten nicht mehr alle Halterungen, was trotz Hinweis nicht behoben wurde. Das selbe gilt für die Dusche. Die war fast komplett verkalkt. Da musste man selbst Hand anlegen. Für ein Haus dieser Kategorie ungewöhnlich.
Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich bestückt. Die Angestellten, außer beim Checkin, mehr als freundlich.
Spa Bereich war sauber, jedoch auch hier in Details Renovierungsbedürftig.

Wie gesagt für diese Kategorie viele Kleinigkeiten die nicht passen.

Offensichtlich gibt es bereits renovierte Zimmer und Flure.

Leider ist die Qualität des Essens sehr schlecht. Angebotene Speisen wurden gar nicht angeboten. Die Serviceleiterin hst laufend Yihr eigenes Personal beleitigt.
Die Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Auch das Zimmer war sehr schön. Es musste eine Umbunchung erfolgen, dies war mein Fehler. Allerdings war der Hotel com Mitarbeiter für mich sehr unseriös. Er hat behauptet es sei nur rin Zimmer um Eur 400 zum buchen möglich. Ich konnte natürlich selbst feststellen, das dies eine Lüge war. Die nächste Bestätigung im Hotel es war niemals voll belegt. Da muss man sich schon Gedanken machen als guter Kunde ob man hier noch richtig liegt. Es sollte ein fairer Partner sein. Auch wurde eine Bewertung einer Buchung total ignoriert, obwohl alles schief gelaufen ist. Tripatveiser hst es ernst genommen. Bin gespannt ob es eine Redaktion von Hotel com gibt.

Die Anlage ist etwas \"alt\", die Zimmereinrichtung ebenso, alles etwas abgewohnt. Das Bad ist auch alt.
Wir hatten dieses Hotel für eine Nacht gebucht und waren vom Preis Leistungsverhältnis sehr enttäuscht.
Frühstück gab es nur gegen 25 Euro Aufpreis pro Person. Abendessen musste reserviert werden, obwohl nicht viele Leute im Restaurant waren. Wir kamen wegen Stau spät an und sind dann in ein Restaurant in der Nähe gegangen zum Abendessen.

Das Zimmer hatte eine große Terrasse. Betten waren sehr bequem. Es gab genügend Stauraum für Kleidung, Koffer und Schuhe. Kochnische bestand aus einer Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank, 4 Teelöffel, 4 Gläser und 4 Tassen. Eine Herdplatte und etwas Küchenutensilien wären gut gewesen bei 4 Sternen. Aber wir waren zum Glück vorbereitet.
Das Zimmer war jetzt nicht besonders modern aber absolut funktional und sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, allerdings fehlte auch nach Nachfrage die Info, was ein Menü im Haus nun genau kostet. Ohne Preisauskunft haben wir dann vorgezogen auswärts in den Restaurants zu speisen. Am Abreisetag kam dann die Info, dass es immer 35€ wären. Das Kalkül kann ja das Haus nun selbst machen, was ihnen 3 Personen in 7 Tagen eingebracht hätte.

Zuerst muss ich erwähnen, mein Freund und ich haben wirklich keine hohen Ansprüche. Die Sauberkeit, Betten und Frühstück müssen jedoch einfach passen. Zu diesem Hotel können wir nur sagen: Nie wieder!!! Mit einem 4 Sterne Hotel hat das hier einfach nichts zu tun. Die Sauberkeit hat zwar alles in allem gepasst, jedoch hatten wir total durchgelegene Matratzen und haben dementsprechend geschlafen.. sehr schlecht und mit Rückenschmerzen am darauffolgenden Tag. Die Rezeption hat sich an unserer Beschwerde überhaupt nicht weiter abgetan. Beim Frühstück wurde eine Käseplatte serviert, die aussah, als hätte man sie schon drei Tage draußen liegen gehabt. Der Orangensaft, sowie der servierte Maracuja-Joghurt haben wirklich richtig, richtig billig geschmeckt und der Obstsalat war auch schon komplett braun angelaufen. Die Semmeln waren hart und trocken. Gut zum Zähneausbeißen. Der Pool im Spa-Bereich war ziemlich kalt, zum Schwimmen gut, aber nichts zum Entspannen.
Dieses Hotel ist pro Nacht viel zu teuer und war eine absolute Enttäuschung für uns. Alles in allem hatten wir das Gefühl, dass wir uns in einem -höchstens, wenn überhaupt- 3 Sterne Hotel aufgehalten hatten. Dieser Laden ist eine Frechheit.

Wir waren zufrieden. Gute Zimmer, wenn auch Ausblick mäßig auf Vordach (dahinter Wiese) und vormittags viel Krach (Mülltonnen, Rasenmähen). Kein Safe. TV okay. Personal sehr bemüht, insbesondere beim Frühstück, an der Rezeption manchmal Wartezeiten. Poolbereich hübsch mit kleiner Außenterrasse. Ausreichend Parkplätze. 15 min zu Fuß in den Ort, 20 min zum Strandbad.

Das Spielzimmer ist sehr lieblos und die Zimmer sind auch schon in die Jahre gekommen. Der Balkon war völlig unansehnlich. Das Abendessen war eine Katastrophe. Dauerte ewig, alles aufgewärmt und dazu teuer.
Das Frühstück hingegen war sehr gut.

Leider nur im Prospekt schön...

Leider hatte unsere Unterkunft nichts mit dem Hochglanzprosekt zu tun. Das Zimmer war in die Jahre gekommen, wir hatten sehr alte Möbel, sehr alte Matratzen und ein nicht mehr sauber zu kriegenes Badezimmer mit einer ehemaligen Dusche als Toilette. Vor allem hatten wir zwei rustikale Einzelbetten.
Ebenso das Frühstück war chaotisch, die Bedingungen überfordert.

Tolles Hotel mit engagiertem Personal.
Wir waren als kinderloses Paar da, aber ich glaube es ist für Familien gut geeignet, weil es auch Freizeiträume gibt, die Beschäftigung für schlechtes Wetter bieten wie Kegelbahn, Schwimmbad und allgemeine Räume.

Sehr großes und sauberes Zimmer, zu dritt überhaupt kein Problem. schönes Schwimmbad mit Whirlpool.
Frühstück reichhaltig, lecker und abwechslungsreich. Lediglich mit den Parkplätzen war es etwas schwierig, da der Parkplatz zweimal voll war.
Restaurant leider sehr teuer, besser abends wo anders essen gehen.

Kostenloser Parkplatz, 5-10 Minuten bis zum Ortszentrum bzw. See! Kinderfreundlich. Was leider nicht so toll war, der Service und die Wartezeit im Restaurant! Sonst gab es wirklich nichts zu beanstanden!

Das Hotel ist günstig in Schliersee gelegen, trotzdem ruhig und idyllisch. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig und es gab eine große Auswahl mit qualitativ

Sehr schönes Hotel

Wir kamen am morgen früh an, wir konnten für 30 euro 2 erwachsene 2 Kinder Frühstücken ( sehr günstig, für das super buffet) um 12.00 uhr konnten wir schon das Zimmer beziehen, superschönes gemütliches Zimmer. Der pool ist klein aber fein. Das Abendessen war super lecker. Würden es auf jedenfall weiterempfehlen.

Beautiful place and nice beds

It was a nice hotel, clean rooms and nice breakfast. The internet was not existing from 18-22 but otherwise it was ok. We wanted to check in at 20 in the evening and since the internet wasn’t working for the desk either we got free drinks in the bar. When we got to check in, we got a 2 person room for 3 persons but got upgraded to a 3 person room during the evening, because they had made a mistake in the rooms. All in all a nice stay and good service.

Fijn hotel in zonnige vakantie-bestemming

Heerlijk hotel, met veel spel- en doe-aktiviteiten zoals het binnenzwembad, jacuzzi, kegelbaan en de pool-tafel. Tot slot heeft Karma Bavaria een uitgebreid ontbijt.
Let wel, het hotel heeft een beperkt aantal kamers met een persoons-bedden

schönes Hotel mit umfassenden Features

Wir waren für drei Übernachtungen im Hotel und im grossen und ganzen sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel verfügt über eine grosse Lobby, eine exzellente Gastronomie und viele Freizeitmöglichkeiten.
Wir waren mit dem Zug angereist, was sich als Nachteil erwiesen hat, da das Hotel von der Lage her (etwas vom See/Ortskern entfernt ) eher auf Autofahrer ausgerichtet ist und erstmal am Bahnhof kein Taxi zu bekommen war..
Zudem war das Hotel auf ein Taxi-Unternehmen fixiert, dass jedoch zweimal nicht zeitnah reagiert hat. Nachdem sich die Rezeption ausser Stande sah, andere Taxi-Unternehmen zu kontaktieren, haben wir auf eigene Faust anderweitig reserviert.
