Hotel Armação sits right by the edge of the sea, on the beach of Porto de Galinhas, 60 Km from the International Airport of Recife and is the nearest hotel to the local Fishing Village (2km) – with its charming local shops, bars, restaurants and the famous coral reefs of the surrounding Natural Sea Pools. There are 188 exquisitely decorated rooms – including en-suite, adjoining, double, triple, quad as well as 30 rooms with special facilities for the physically disabled – divided into two categories, Standard and Superior.
All rooms are fully equipped with split system air-conditioning, flat screen TV with cable, mini-bar, telephone and safe deposit box. Some have balcony.

We cannot wait to come back! From the wonderful, pleasant staff to the delicious food and super clean resort, my family had the best time here. It’s so close to the beach if you want to see the ocean, but also enough pools if you want to stay on the resort. The area is very safe during the day and I loved how close it was to the down town area.

My family and I really enjoyed the stay at this resort. The resort was beyond clean and the rooms were perfectly decorated and had enough room. We had a balcony with a hammock that we absolutely loved. We had opted in for breakfast and dinner, and there was so much variety. The food was unbelievably delicious.
If you have children, this resort is perfect. There are so many things for children of all ages to do.
Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this place.

Resort is beautiful and well-kept. The food at the restaurant buffet is excellent. Great variety of items for breakfast. The beach is wonderful. On the negative side, all guests were eating indoors when everyone knows that that's the worst thing you can do during the pandemic. We would get our food and walk outside to eat at one of the outdoor tables. Brazilians did not seem to care as they would all eat indoors. Really a shame!

Hotel was great! I was concerned about one of the review that said the hotel has a street in the middle of the hotel, since I have small kids. In fact, the hotel has a little street that goes across, but it is very calm and a lot of people watching. Include the security guards.

The Hotel is a little priced high for what you get. The room was nice. Unfortunately they put me in a room where there were working on a room right above mine. All day long I had to listen to electric saws, talking and pounding. I came to relax and not hear that noise. If they had to do the work then don't book people in the room beneath it. If you do, start work after breakfast when people are out and about. They also were using leaf blowers during the evening when we were back in the room trying to relax for the night. Can't you start at 10 am and finish by 6 pm???? Also My wife and I bought food at the restaurant service window and were watching the musical show. It started raining and we asked if we could sit inside. They told us that we weren't allowed. WHAT??? Did you forget that I'm a paying customer???? I bought the food from the restaurant!!!! Bottom line the people who run the hotel need to go to Cancun and learn something. I've stayed at many places and this place rated just OK. One other thing, the hotel is across the street from the ocean. Forget an Ocean view..... so there you have it....disappointed? YES, would I go back? NO, not to this place.

Comida excelente. Atendimento excelente. Estrutura do hotel muito boa. O único ponto baixo é que o mar em frente é bem agitado. Tirando isso, o hotel é maravilhoso. Evite quartos próximos à estrada, pq faz muito barulho. Mas pedimos pra trocar de quarto e fomos atendidos pela recepção.

El hotel y las habitaciones son muy lindas. Nos toco habitaciones de la parte del hotel que fue reciclado. Hay habitaciones en otro bloques que parecen mas viejas. Ideal para familia con chicos. Todo tipo de entretenimientos para chicos. Si bien es todo en portugues, nunca viene mal practicar otro idioma. La playa del hotel, es personalmente lo que más me gusto. El mar tiene olas -sin arrecifes- ni piletas naturales.

A nossa estadia em família foi ótima! As crianças aproveitaram bastante a estrutura do Resort. Quando chegamos constatamos um problema com a descarga do vaso sanitário, mas que foi resolvido com brevidade.

Tumultuo, excursão escolar e bullying
O hotel possui uma boa estrutura e funcionarios educados. Notamos algumas lampadas queimadas no jardim e infiltrações leves nas paredes do quarto. A alimentação é saborosa. O negativo foi quando chegou uma escursão de adolescentes no fim de semana e tumultuou o restaurante e um grupo de 4 meninos de 10 ou 12 anos praticaram bullying contra meu filho de 5 anos. Conversei com a adulta que os acompanhava solicitando um pedido de desculpas que desconversou o assunto, falando ser \"normal\" criancas maiores apelidarem, constrangirem e fazerem outras chorarem. Informei o ocorrido a gerencia do hotel que disse que iria organizar um pedido de desculpas e não aconteceu nada. Não voltaria no Armação e não recomendo que uma familia com criancas pequenas vá. Pode ter o azar de estar junto com uma excursão, sofrer com o tumultuo e ter lidar com adolescentes com poucos adultos os assistindo. Como no meu caso, era um adulto cuidando de 4 adolescentes. . A proposta eram ser 5 dias de descanso com a familia. Mas, depois desse fato, nosso unico desejo era ir embora e isso estragou os ultimos dois dias de nossa estadia.

O hotel é ideal para uma viagem com crianças. A estrutura é muito boa, com 3 piscinas aquecidas e a área interna agradável. Hotel em geral bem cuidado, limpo, funcionários atenciosos e educados. Comida na média é boa, às vezes regular, outras vezes excelente (poderia ter um lanche à tarde...) A praia em frente é de mar aberto, com ondas fortes e inspira cuidados. O transporte até Porto é fácil e barato, para quem não quiser ir andando pela praia. O resort não chega a ser um Nannai de Muro Alto mas é bem confortável e voltaríamos a nos hospedar por lá.

Única observação que tenho é com relação ao banheiro do quarto que possuía alguns vazamentos da torneira da pia e do box.. mas a equipe de limpeza sempre deu conta e deixava o quarto sempre bem limpo o organizado.

Minha estada foi bastante agradável. O atendimento é maravilhoso e as acomodações confortáveis. Como sugestão, sugiro melhorar o cardápio dos bares da piscina. São bem restritos em relação a petiscos e drinks. Também tive dificuldade em fazer pedidos nessa área, pois os garçons raramente circulam. Por que não utilizam o sistema de campainha que ao apertarmos o botão que encontram-se nas mesas, os garçons recebem a informação em relógios de pulsos com a indicação da mesa que deseja fazer um pedido.
