The room was good , clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we had a security incident where someone managed to open our room door in the middle of the night . Luckily I had my dog who I think gave the person a fright.
I tried to explain to reception in the morning but no one speaks English .
I then sent a follow up email in German and English which they took days to reply to and then just said the night staff needed more training .
It was a very scary experience which I didn’t feel the took on board .

Quiet hotel in the residential area. Sparingly but nicely furnished in the style of the early twentieth century. A good breakfast. Free parking doesn’t offer enough places, but we found a spot on the street.

Good except for ....

One non-helpful male desk clerk along with 5 or 6 helpful ones. Wi-fi was weak in room. But the free parking is a ruse. There were 5 or six free spots in an interior court yard if you got them before others. If not, you had to find on street parking in a crowded residential area. Or, you could PAY ~$8 for a inside garage that was very tight to enter. Good Breakfast .

We had a nice clean room with adequare facilities. We were happy with the check in staff but the restaurant food and service in the evening was only average. However, in the morning,, the breakfast food was fine and the service was very good (different staff).

Disapointed with the front desk

I did not like the response of the lady at the time of check out. She would not answer my question concerning the billing. I asked the question at least 6 times and no answer.
It was a simple request that I believe deserved an answer.
Otherwise I was pleased with all of the services up until the last 10 minutes.
I will be returning to Magdeburg on September 3rd and will stay at a different hotel.
This problem is not one I would share with others as everything else during my stay was very good.

Die Umgebung ist ruhig, es gibt nette Cafés und Restaurants in der Nähe. Leider ist das Hotel selbst schon in die Jahre gekommen (die Betten sind durchgelegen, die Wasserhähne lassen sich schwer bedienen/einstellen, ein Lichtschalter lässt gleich 3 Leuchter angehen, einzeln lassen sie sich nicht einschalten). Es ist jedoch sauber und das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Wasserhahn-Hebel fällt in Mittelstellung selbst runter, damit Wasserfluss unterbrochen, dies sollte jeder Putzfrau auffallen.
Fenster lässt sich schwer öffnen!
Bei WC- Spülung spritzt Wasser bis auf die WC-Brille, wenn man den WC-Deckel nicht schließt.
Außer Äpfel gab es kein frisches Obst zum Frühstück, Melonen, Beeren o. Ananas wäre schön gewesen.
Ein Kleiderschrank wäre praktisch gewesen, statt eines
luftig offenen Holzregals.

Leider war mein zugewiesenen Zimmer direkt beim Aufzug, was sich durch die Metallseile des Aufzug unangenehm auf die Geräusche im Zimmer auswirkt. Des Weiteren muss man für den Zimmerservice Abstriche machen, da die nur auf Wunsch stattzufindende Reinigung leider gar nicht stattgefunden hat. Da musste ich nochmal nachhaken... Ansonsten sehr nettes Personal an Rezeption und beim Frühstück.

Wir haben die Eltern besucht und übernachtet.
Mein Mann sitzt im elektrischen Rollstuhl. Dafür haben wir logischerweise ein großes Auto mit einer Rampe.
Am Hotel bzw. um das Hotel konnten wir nicht parken. Die Tiefgarage war zu eng in der Durchfahrt.
Die Möbel waren ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber das Bad war in Ordnung.
Was uns sehr gefallen hat war das Frühstück. Vom Angebot her und auch von der guten Idee das in einem Extraraum anzurichten.
Was wir schade fanden, es gab leider kein Abendessen.

Parcheggio pieno. e quindi ho dovuto cercare un parcheggio a pagamento fuori dell hotel.
Poi non c era l aria condizionata e c era un caldo insopportabile. Non c erano asciugamani e ho dovuto richiederli.
Materasso molto usato e scomodo.
e per finire colazione in una stanza a 10 metri dal buffet.
Normalmente trovo di meglio. questo non lo raccomando di certo a nessuno

Für Kurzreisen gut geeignet.

Das BW-Hotel ist sauber und gut organisiert. Die Zimmer sind klein aber wir nutzten das Zimmer ja nur zum Schlafen. Das Bad ist ebenfalls ziemlich klein und hatte zusätzlich eine schräge Wand , welche es für große Gäste ungünstig macht. Besonders gut ist die Praxis die Zwischenreinigungen wählbar zu machen, somit wird doch für die Umwelt etwas getan, da nicht täglich die Handtücher gewechselt werden müssen.

Ein Punkt ist leider zu kritisieren, es gibt nicht einmal eine Bar an der man Abends mal etwas trinken könnte oder einen Biergarten, schade!

Das Hotel ist ruhig gelegen und gut geeignet für Hotelgäste, die ein ruhiges Ambiente suchen.

Schwierig ist es insbesondere in den Abendstunden, eine Parkmöglichkeit in der Nähe zu finden. Die Hotelparkplätze auf dem Innenhof reichen nicht aus.

Schönes Hotel mit nachlassendem Niveau

Hotelrezeption freundlich und Zimmer ordentlich. Frühstück jedoch in Qualität zu früheren Aufenthalten im Hotel erheblich nachgelassen, da z.B. Käsescheiben alt und trocken, kein frisches Obst, außer Äpfel und geschnittenes Obst aus der Büchse, billiges Wurstangebot, kein Schinken.
Spuckschutz fehlte teilweise.
Aus der Küche kamen laute Geschirr- und Besteckgeräusche.

Gute Lage, aber...

Da BW Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Leider hat man zu bestimmten Zeiten ein Problem, den PKW zu parken. Die abendliche Parkplatzsuche nahm ca. 30 Minuten in Anspruch. Es gibt auch keine Hotelvorfahrt, um Gepäck zu laden bzw. zu entladen, ausser bei Nutzung des Hotelparkplatzes, welcher aber lediglich 5fünf bis sechs PKW aufnehmen kann. Der Lift ist extrem langsam und das Hotel hätte eine Renovierung bitter nötig (Bodenbeläge, Holzböden etc.). Was wirklich störend war, ist der Zustanbd des Badezimmers gewesen: Schwarze Ränder entlang des Wannen-Wandanschlußes und ein dicker schwarzer Dreckbelag unter dem Wasseranchluß der Handbrause.

Dringender Renovierungsbedarf, vom langsamen Fahrstuhl, bis zu den muffigen Zimmern. Der komplette Bau samt Einrichtung hat deutlich mehr Jahrzehnte auf dem Buckel, als man von einem Best Western erwarten darf.
Zudem ist das Frühstück (grad zu Cornoazeiten) sehr schlecht organisiert und sein Geld nicht wert.

Das Zimmer war im allgemeinen ok, allerdings lies die Sauberkeit im Bad zu wünschen übrig. An drei verschiedenen Stellen befanden sich noch Haare vom vorhergehenden Gast. Auf Hinweis an der Rezeption wurde darüber gelacht, als ich darauf verwies, dass sie von mir nicht sein können da ich eine Glatze habe. Auch war das Duschgel in der Dusche leer. Somit war kein richtiges Duschen möglich. Es wurde uns, auf Nachfrage zwar ohne Verständnis, aber dann immerhin die Tiefgaragengebühr als Entschädigung erlassen. Das Frühstück war dann, bis auf den fehlenden Frischkäse, wieder ganz gut. Fazit: Wenn sich die Sauberkeit in der Nasszelle wieder einstellt, (vor allem muss ein Austausch der von unten angeschimmelten Duschvorhänge unbedingt erfolgen) dann ist das Hotel durchaus empfehlenswert.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, allerdings würde die Ausstattung so langsam eine Renovierung vertragen. (Treppen waren etwas abgewetzt, Teppichboden, naja)
Die Lage ist sehr angenehm, ruhig in einer sehr schönen Wohngegend.

Die Lage ist toll, vor allem mit Hund (Grünflächen zum Auslauf vor der Haustür)
Nicht gut waren die Matratzen, sogar für meinen Mann zu hart. Belohnt wurde der Aufenthalt deshalb mit Rückenschmerzen - schade. Das Haus wirkt etwas \"in die Jahre\" gekommen.

Flott hotell, hyggelig betjening. Rent og pent. Eneste vi savnet var ett sted å sitte ute. Vi ville ha ett glass vin før vi gikk på rommet, eneste stedet og sitte ute var på en benk i bakgården. Der kunne man ikke sitte 2 stykker å prate stille uten å forstyrre gjestene på rommene over. Ellers flott hotell.

Preis Leistung ist Top. ca. 1,5 km vom Bahnhof entfernt. Wir waren im Mai bereits in diesem Hotel und haben es wieder gebucht. Es wurde auch unserem Wunsch entsprochen wieder das gleiche Zimmer zu bekommen. Personal sehr freundlich. Parkplatz im Innenhof etwas klein, aber in den Seitenstraßen kann man überall umsonst parken.

Uns wurde unaufgefordert ein extra kinderbett in das Zimmer gestellt,was wir sehr aufmerksam empfanden . Ausserdem sind kinder bis 12 jahren kostenfrei was ich sehr familienfreundlich finde. Toller Service leckeres Frühstück,wir waren rundum zufrieden. Jedezeit wieder.
