The room was stiflingly hot even with the fan on full. I wish I’d checked whether the rooms were air conditioned. The receptionist was great-friendly, helpful, pragmatic. The breakfast was good but there was some horrible drilling going on in the adjacent room which challenged the peace of the breakfast meeting I had been waiting on with an old friend. The management could have paused this work until breakfast was over

Long check in, not the lady’s fault, she was very nice. So many people waiting.

The bar is almost unattended always, again very lovely friendly lady. But she was covering the bar and restaurant.

Restaurant, far to expensive and no choices. Buffet only. Breakfast so expensive for so little.

Check out was with another friendly lady, but people just fed up with queuing and just left key cards and left.

Not enough staff here at all. Big problems. But the staff there was running around everywhere. I wanted to complain but didn’t have the heart while watching them work so hard to keep everyone happy. Shame on you management and owners. Find another hotel people.

Good hotel for the money, especially considering the nice breakfast spread. The rooms were clean and functional, but I would have liked a few more amenities. For example, there were only 2 small bottles of water in the room, and no other source of water in the hotel after hours. A mini-bar would have been nice. Overall, a good experience.

Excellent service and very friendly staff. Unfortunately, during our stay the swimming pool facilities were closed due to coronavirus pandemic but we checked the pool and looks really impressing like a little lagoon. Great choice around Magdeburg area!

Nice business hotel but unless you have a car it is too far from the downtown area (walk to nearby tam was about 6-7 min). There is no AC so rooms facing west have no chance for cooling in the summer until late at night with the windows open. There was an outside party with live band at the nearby apt complex the night we were. (bring earplugs). Terrific breakfast buffet.

1 night in hell

I use a hotel for two purposes
1 to sleep - this did not happen due to some other guests (I was later told that it was some concert party) deciding to hold a party in an adjacent room. After 3 calls to reception it eventually stopped at about 02:30 am
2 eat - after eventually getting my meal after waiting about 40/45 mins it arrived cold, tasteless in a metal skillet that was that cold the herb butter did not even melt ! I couldn't eat it so it was left I did not even get an apology from the waitress.

On checking out and complaining to the reception the cost of the meal was removed but no deduction was given relating to the accommodation as this was pre paid !

Perfect hotel for a short stay

Staff was very attentive and very helpful. Hotel very nice, clean and bright. Location is not great, but perfect for travellers like me, who needed one night stay. The only thing I found in some European hotels (and in this as well) is additional for parking the car. I think that if you are a guest in a hotel the parking should be included.

Totally OK for the price.

The hotel staff were all very professional and friendly. The hotel is in light industrial area some distance from the town centre but relatively well serviced with transport diverse links. The two waitresses serving in the hotel restaurant were exceptionally good with a professional yet personal and friendly service. International guests would no doubt dislike the German-style pillows on the beds but these are unfortunately commonplace in many German hotels. Such pillows are more like tiny bed quilts completely lacking in neck support and unfortunately very good at accumulating unwanted heat on a hot summer night. Some Germans and indeed some hotels in more cosmopolitan cities are slowly discovering the benefits of more modern and comfortable pillows.

Great hotel - poor customer service

Overall great hotel - especially for the price. The room was adequate and clean and it was a nice bonus to be able to take a swim in the pool. My only complaint was the service at the front desk. I had to wait several minutes while the lady was finishing up with some sort of sorting of bills and money before she was \"ready\" to take care of me. Sorry, but when my check-in process only took less than a minute, I have no understanding for being TOLD that I have to wait - and then for several minutes - especially at a four-star hotel!

Die letzte Reise dieses Jahres führte mich nochmals nach Magdeburg.
Das Hotel kenne ich ja, aber so ganz zufrieden war ich mit dem Zimmer nicht, in der Mitte hing die Gardine durch, kann mal passieren, aber so im Blickfeld... Beim Zuziehen der Vorhänge waren sie auch auf der linken Seite abgerissen. Ich hab's beim Check Out gemeldet.

Ankommen und sich wie zu Hause fühlen, das kann man als Stammgast im Achat-Hotel in Magdeburg.
Von der Rezeption über das Personal der Bar aber auch im Frühstücksrestaurant alle zeichnen sich durch große Freundlichkeit aus.
Bei dem schönen Upgrade freue ich mich schon auf den nächsten Aufenthalt.

In die Jahre gekommen und abgewohnt. Keine Lademöglichkeit fürs Auto, keinen Zimmersafe und 15EUR Parkgebühr. Parken ab 2 t Fahrzeuggewicht aber nicht in der Tiefgarage nicht möglich. Somit 15 EUR um weit weg vom Zentrum draußen stehen zu dürfen. Die Hotelbar war klasse mit super netter Bedienung. Preis Leistung war in Summe okay.

Vi brugte hotellet til en sidste overnatning på vej hjem fra ferie i Italien. God beliggenhed tæt på motorvejen.
Gode senge i et rummeligt værelse og et velfungerende badeværelse. God morgenmad.
Det var lidt besværligt at få koden til Wifi, men det lykkedes til sidst.

Preis Leistung einfach mega, Riesen Zimmer zum kleinen Preis, Abend Buffet recht teuer, aber es zwingt einen ja keiner, dort zu essen. Bei Personal und Service geb ich einen Stern weniger, da mir der Herr an der Rezeption überfordert vorkam. Zur Umgebung kann ich nichts sagen, hab zwischen An- und Abreise das Hotel nicht verlassen. Aber alles in allem TOP!

Das Wasser ist nur ein Rinnsal und ein Tag gab es überhaupt kein Wasser zum waschen desweiteren würden das Zimmer am Samstag nicht gemacht keine Neuen Hand und Duschtücher erst nach der zweiten nachfrage wurden Tücher gebracht eine Kaffeemaschine war dauernd defekt Parkgebühr für PKW ist viel zu teuer Abzocker dieses Hotel ist nie ein vier Sterne Hotel höchstens 2-3 Wir können diese Unterkunft nicht weiter empfehlen

Das Hotel ist stark abgewohnt. Im Badezimmer sind alle Armaturen verkalkt und zum Teil nicht mehr voll funktionstüchtig. Allerdings sind Bäder als auch das Schwimmbad sehr sauber. Nur dass alles eben fleckig, alt und zerschlissenen ist, hinterlässt halt dann doch ein Geschmäckle. Selbst die Aufzugknöpfe lassen sich kaum noch bedienen und nur mit starkem Druck und mehrfache Wiederholung überhaupt bedienen.Das Haus ist architektonisch super aufgebaut und müsste einfach nur mal gründlich renoviert werden. Dafür war aber der Übernachtungspreis von 60 €/Nacht absolut fair.

Gutes Frühstück noch immer, Nachlässigkeiten beim Zimmer, Schallschutzfenster halfen nicht gegen durch Straßensperren verursachten starken Straßenverkehr, das größte Manko ist neuerdings das Parken über Parkgeldeintreiber 15€ (auch für Außenparkplätze) pro Nacht im Säumnisfall 45€ plus KfZ-Zeichenermittlung plus die 15 €/Nacht. Beim ständigen Parkplatzmangel bei Betriebsseminaren etc.kommen im Außenbezirk von Magdeburg Kosten zum Hotelpreis

Hotel for stopp ved gjennomreise. Valgte dette pga basseng og treningsrom.

Jeg vil ikke anbefale dette til nogen.
Receptionisten var så uvenlig og forpladsen var fyldt med store kegler og ‘STOP’ skilte der handlede om parkering. Dårligt førstehåndsindtryk.
Værelset var ikke noget at snakke om, sengene knagede og jeg ville aldrig benytte badekarret. Håndklædetørren duede ikke. De tog 5 euro pr badekåbe og de var meget slidte. Poolområdet er ikke som på billederne. Det er slidt og beskidt. Omklædningsrummet til kvinder har åben dør, så alle kan se ind idet man går til herrernes. Der kom kun nok vand ud af en bruser.
Aftensmaden til 29 euro pr person var ikke særlig indbydende og en af mine medrejsende blev syg om natten.
Fin morgenmad.
Hotellet har sikkert været fint engang, og fremstår nu meget slidt / brugt og lidt ‘forladt’. Alt for dyrt ifht. hvad man får for pengene.

Grundsätzlich ein schönes Hotel. Der Service in der Hotelbar war sehr langsam, aber freundlich.

Was aber wirklich für unseren Unmut sorgte war, dass wir ca. 16:30 Uhr am Hotel angekommen sind, aber unsere Zimmer noch nicht fertig waren. Laut Buchung hätten wir aber bereits um 15 Uhr einchecken können.

Wir hatten die Suite dies sind zwei Zimmer nebeneinander verbunden durch eine Tür . In dem einen Zimmer steht ein Doppelbett und in dem anderen ein Sofa. Beide haben einen Tv und beide eine Klimaanlage . Vermisst haben wir eine kleine minibar oder Kühlschrank . Parken in der Garage ist mit einem Kombi nicht einfach , die Parklücken sind sehr sehr klein .

Der Service und das Essen waren sehr gut. Wir hatte ein Doppelzimmer gebucht, aber ein Zweibettzimmer erhalten! Man konnte zwar die Betten zusammrnschieben, musste dann aber aufpassen, um nachts nicht mit dem Kopf an den Lichtschalter bzw. die Steckdose zu kommen.
Das Wasser im Schwimmbad war viel zu kalt und die Sauna zu warm (90° sind nicht für jeden geeignet).
