I love the breakfast buffet at Saras. I checked out at 11:15am after having a wonderful breakfast. I loved the free water bottles everyday that was brought to my room. I love the decorations of the lobby and I love the Sky Buffet on the 51st floor. It’s so worth the 5,800 yen for the dinner and dessert buffet.

Tips:
The laundry room can use a bit more consideration. It was quite confusing to figure it out and you need to scan your key to get into the facility, the machine requires a passcode, and the dryers may not be as effective as others. I would suggest air dry if not dry clean before needing to hop on a plane!

The breakfast is amazing! I highly recommend that :)

With an exception of a couple of things, the room appeared clean and I very much would book here again. Osaka is lovely and the hotel is grand with many things to do, which is great if you don’t want to travel much and still enjoy Japan!

Someone had smoked in the toilet of our non smoking room. We got a room change when we informed the reception. The room was child friendly with toys and the beds were low to the ground. Family mart, daiso, grocery store, pharmacy and restaurants were in the plaza.

Amenities can’t be beat with the spa steps away and a family mart in front of the hotel. The restaurants are also great and staff is very friendly. My only issue is that the bed and especially pillow is extremely firm. I couldn’t sleep because the pillow was so stiff. Also the water temperature in the shower couldn’t be adjusted, it was too cold for me. If these 2 things improved I’d give the hotel a 5 stars. Overall, good experience.

This hotel will be okay if you’re not going to be at the hotel much. The room is small, bed is uncomfortable and there are not many amenities. You can also hear absolutely everything from the hallway to the next room. Overall, needs a face lift. Not impressed.

The area was very convenient and close to the trains for our trip. Great views and the room was clean and spacious. The only issue we had was the temperature inside the room. Floors 30 and above were centrally controlled by the hotel, so the room itself was hot and we couldn't adjust it at all. We could only open the window a few inches to try and cool it down, which didn't help much.

ART HOTEL Osaka Bay Tower was a wonderful place to stay. We were on the top floor and had a beautiful view of Osaka, which made the experience extra special. The Sky Buffet restaurant was a highlight — great food with stunning city views. The hotel is very conveniently located near subway stations, making it easy to get around. While the rooms were on the smaller side, they were very comfortable and well maintained. Overall, it was a great stay and a hotel we would happily recommend.

We were on the 49th floor. We can’t control the temperature to be lower than 20 degree Celsius. The bathroom, it has an odor that smells. Bed was comfortable.

Overall my stay was good. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very clean. Housekeeping came daily to tidy up and make the bed. They provide basic hygiene items. The bed was ok but no major complaints there. The hotel is right near the trains which was very convenient. The price was great. I would stay there again.

PROS = wonderful location from two train stations (5 min walk to either JR Bentencho or Osaka Metro Chuo); super spacious room with four beds; separate toilet and bath; FamilyMart across the hotel entrance; hotel is in a building that also houses a Burger King, McDonald’s, a French bakery, grocery store, and Daiso.

CONS = the staff’s overall courtesy was baseline and not as warm/accommodating; shower’s water pressure was average; the room had no airconditioning option but only a heating one

The staff is very friendly, the building is in a great location and has so many things available like food and shopping center at the second floor. Plus the hotel has its own restaurants. The amenities are great, I paid for laundry and I was so impressed with the service. I locked myself out of the room safe on accident and they were at my room within 10 minutes. The rooms themselves were nice and comfortable, and the views are out of this world.

The room temperature is centrally controlled and our room was very uncomfortably hot (76-82 degree Fahrenheit) for the entire stay, even with the heat turned off and shades closed. We were provided with a small cooling fan when we raised the concern, but it didn't meaningfully cool the room.

Very helpful staff and a spacious room. The A/C in centrally controlled so you get heat or A/C depending on the out side temp. The beds are decent just a little too hard for my liking, the pillows are a firm to very firm. It is a very short walk from the train station which is nice you have been out exploring all day.

This is a very nice hotel.
Get the two beds so that you can get a view of the waterfront.
Upgrade your breakfast buffet, you won’t regret it! There is a Daiso, restaurants and a market very near to the hotel.
The train station is also very near and sort of attached.

All the Staff are very friendly and professional. They are very helpful and understanding.
Room is cleaned, housekeeper did the good job. We have n I have a nice room with ocean view. Go early to 51th floor for breakfast n 20th floor for lounge bar to get good view. The view is perfect. Must go!
Location is ok. Can use Metro n JR train for transportation. Visit Namba and other cities is very convenient.
We found few restaurants near hotel is pretty good.
Hotel will store the luggage if arrive early or after check out. The system are very secure.

I stayed here on my last trip to Japan many years ago and while it was very good then, it's excellent now!

The staff are very courteous annd friendly. The rooms are very well decorated, clean, comfortable and offer some stunning views of the city at night. The 2F breakfast, while offering more or less the same menu every day, was still very good. The discounted access to Solaniwa Onsen is an excellent perk after long days of walking!

Location is excellent with access to both the subway and JR lines with direct trains to Umeda, Nara and Kansai Airport. Popular areas such as Osaka Bay, Universal and Namba are very easy to get to.

The surrounding area has some very good restaurants and food options, including a FamilyMart right outside for midnight conbini runs.

I will definitely look to stay again when I next visit Osaka!

We booked this 4-star hotel expecting much better accommodations. The bathroom was so small - it was hard to close the door as the toilet was in the way. The toilet paper quality was terrible. The room looked dated and was not the quality we expect from a four-star deluxe room. It was very disappointing.

The room here was outstanding. The pictures don’t do the views justice! Everything was spotless, check in procedure was easy would stay here again in a heartbeat. As far as location it’s not the most central place to stay in Osaka but don’t let that deter you, its a quick connection to get anywhere you need to go and the proximity to the tattoo friendly (private baths) misen makes it well worth it after long days of walking.

The hotel was nicely situated by two trains. It was not in a neighborhood and there was no concierge to help with restuarant and travel arrangements. Many of the front desk people did not speak English and were not very helpful. That was its only big drawback.

Great location just at Bentencho station for JR line and MRT. Comfort is great. Really nice.
But let me speak on behalf of the group inwas travelling with: the breakfast buffet was a joke.
Osaka supposed to be food town but the selection (not the quality) was the worst of our trip.

Not only the toilets but the hallway of the hotel stinks. The towels and beddings are ok but maybe its the structure of the toilets that make this pungent odors. There’s no escaping this odor and the buffet is not refilled, so better be there early or the foods will have been thrown all over the place.

So convenient since it sits between the JR station and the Osaka Metro station in Bentencho so you can go to Universal Studios, the aquarium or the Wold Expo. Our room was huge compared to Japanese standards since it was 4 of us. The view to the Osaka Bay day and night was a superb bonus

We were delighted to see the hotel, location and our room (with a wonderful view) when we checked in at 11pm.
Loved it right from the start - connection to train stations was an added bonus. A nightcap in the 20th floor bar was lovely.

Easy connection by train to Nara and Universal Studios.

My husband experienced a medical emergency during our 2nd night and the reception staff were excellent arranging an ambulance and helping with translation.
I would definitely recommend this hotel. We were sad to leave.

The high floor room views were the only good thing about this hotel but the space was utilized poorly, with the coffee making furniture in front of half of the window. Furniture was dirty, room was dusty, and the shower curtain had something that appeared to have been coughed up in multiple areas. Overall, underwelming.

The views were amazing as we were put up on the 49th floor.

The hotel was right next to the chuo line to universal, waterfront, and downtown. The 500 yen onsen deal is well worth it for an early morning spa before you go about your day (especially since things dont open till 10am or later in Japan). Plus the onsen morning session is only for hotel guests so it was basically empty (private spa)

Great friendly staff and clean housekeeping. I thought the onsen bath was on the facility. It's why I booked this hotel. I didn't know I had to prebook the private onsen bath room that doesn't belong to this hotel, thus I could not use it. I had to travel far out to enjoy a hot springs bath. There was a noisy thumping group above my room on my last night there past midnight. I told the staff and the noise stopped eventually.

This was a beautiful hotel with amazing views especially from the higher floors. Definitely make sure to check out the onsen .....even if you have tattoos, they offer private rooms! Family mart is directly across from the entrance for all of you convenient store needs and is surrounded by lots of great restaurants. Highly recommend.

Really great stay! We were on the 38th floor with a perfect view of the ferris wheel lighting up every night! It's also super close to both the Osaka Loop Line, which gets you nearly everywhere, and the C line! We also went to the nearby onsen which was lovely. The hotel is also surrounded by shops such as a 24 hr convenience store, a pharmacy, a daiso, and several places to eat! Mostly for breakfast.

When I booked, I kinda expected the hot spring that offered with the hotel was within the same building or at least walkable indoor to the hot spring, but it was a separate building that you had to walk outside to get to in so it was inconvenient. And also the staff at the front desk didn’t inform us that there is a bath tax and when I got the hot spring. I didn’t bring any cash with me which was annoying.

Staff was friendly though and property was clean and well maintained.

Our family room was spacious and comfortable.

The breakfast wasn’t that great. I wouldn’t have bought the breakfast package if I knew it wasn’t good. Out of the 3 morning we only ate once even we paid for it. It wasn’t good at all, almost as bad as airplane meals.
