Clean room that is convenient for USJ. No laundry available though which is something to be aware of.
Universal city can be very crowded when USJ visitors are heading home making Lawsons difficult to buy anything in.

I stayed one night at the hotel after visiting USJ. Hotel is very beautiful, nice staff, and they had a welcome lounge area with complimentary refreshments.

The room was spacious, clean, comfy beds.

However, there was an issue with my room key not working properly, then three hours later another couple was trying to enter my room because it was reassigned to them. Weird. I was too exhausted from USJ to say anything about it. I also booked a massage via the QR code provide by the hotel, but no one arrived. Ask the hotel for assistance with that.

The rooms were significantly bigger, the proximity to the park was great on a long day. Convenience stores all around with an amazing selection of food. The staff was so helpful and amazing and they provided free hot dogs each evening along with refreshments. If I ever travel to Osaka again, I will be staying here again.

Fantastic location, we are just a few minutes walk away from Universal Studios. There is a literal mall just outside the hotel where you can get food, shop for merchandise, and also 2 convenient stores for your comfort.

The rooms are a little older but very comfortable. There is even a shoe dryer. Came in handy after a rainy day at USJ. Would stay again.

The over all stay was fine. Nothing exciting, was there more for the location. The fire alarm broke in our room or was broken when they put us in the room and woke us up early in the morning to fix it. Minor annoyance but they were professional about it.

If you looking for a place to just sleep and go out then this is perfect.

Also it did look like there was alot of black mold in the vents. But everything else was very clean. If you sensitive to mold dont stay here..

The Oriental Hotel Universal City was an amazing hotel with all amenities required for a great experience. Its location is of great convenience, with Universal City station a 30 second walk away and with plenty of nearby shops for food and souvenirs. The hotel is also a minute walk away from Universal Studios Japan. All together an amazing hotel that provides a daily breakfast buffet and hot dog vouchers for throughout your stay.

It was quite clean but there were a lot of drain flies throughout my 6 day stay in room 2021. I killed 7, my wife killed 3. Not a huge issue but bothersome. Very good location, very quiet. Kid friendly.

We had a very pleasant stay overall. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming during our entire visit, always willing to help with anything we needed. The hotel itself and the rooms were very clean, which made our stay even more comfortable.

The breakfast was absolutely worth every extra dollar — everything was delicious, fresh, and there were plenty of options to enjoy each morning.

The only disappointing part was the temperature inside the rooms. It was extremely hot, and although you can request a fan, it unfortunately didn’t make much of a difference. Aside from that issue, we still enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality from the staff.

Staff at hotel was very friendly. Room was clean, and housekeeping was fantastic. Location was supreme being right in city walk. They have a candy and drink welcome for guests from 2 - 9 which the kids love. Universal City Station was 2 min away as well, very convenient. Would definitely stay there again and recommend.

RThe room is impeccably clean, which is excellent. The presence of a locker room is incredibly convenient. However, it is rather peculiar that there is no desk in the room. This is quite disappointing as after visiting USJ, it is challenging to find seating in nearby restaurants. Consequently, you resort to ordering takeout, only to realize there is nowhere to dine. Even when attempting to eat in the dining hall, you are informed that as a guest, you are only permitted lounge food. Regrettably, the only options available are hotdogs and cookies.

If your only purpose is to go to Universal this might be a perfect hotel for you. You had better have cruise ship experience. Both the room and the bathroom were smaller than our last cruise ship trip. The shower creaked when I stood in it, and the things rocked on the shower shelves as I moved. The shower was clean, the water pressure was excellent, and the products were nice.
This room is probably exactly what somebody would expect if they had never been in another hotel in Japan. It is very small, and there was no closet. These rooms are a money grab for Universal. They have a “lounge” in the lobby with complimentary hot dogs (with tickets they give you at checkin) that should just be part of the lounge offerings.
The staff at checkin seem to understand it is a cattle call hotel and react with the appropriate enthusiasm. Osaka is amazing, and I highly recommend the aquarium, but I am sure there are better places to stay for the same price point.

This an excellent choice for visiting Universal Studios Japan. Located in city walk three minutes from the train exit and five minutes from the entrance to Universal Studios. There is both a 7-11 and Lawson right outside the hotel for quick convenience purchases. I was only staying a single night for my one day visit to the park but this was the perfect option.

The staff was kind and easy to communicate with even though I don’t speak any Japanese. The room was very clean, and had everything I needed with two complimentary bottles of water waiting.

I love the self service baggage room you can leave use all day on checkout day. It is a genius design with large shelves and self programmed code locking steel wires. I would gladly stay here again if going to the park.

除了冷氣問題，其他一切都很好，早餐選擇多且新鮮美味，有送點心卷傍晚時段使用，另有小點心bar和飲料下午時段供房客免費使用。
地點很好，樓下就是藥妝店和lawson
如果下次再去環球影城是冬天時段會考累再次入住~

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very clean and well-maintained. It’s also within walking distance to Universal Studios, which made everything so convenient.
The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. I especially appreciated how helpful they were when I needed a last-minute cab ride to the airport — they arranged it quickly and made the process stress-free.
I will definitely come back and book here again. Highly recommended!

This hotel is fine- we’re out of the room most of the day to be at the park anyways. It was clean and served its purpose.

My only complaint with this hotel- I know check in time is at 3pm, but I was 7 min early and they seriously turned me away and told me to come back at 3pm. So I went to the bathroom, came back out and at 2:59 I was back in line and they did finally check me in, although they seemed to be having a little trouble, I’m not sure why, it was a little unclear.
They do have a lounge area if you arrive early where there are some sweet snacks and coffee, etc which was nice. I had been waiting there for about an hour because again, I understand I was too early for check in. However at no point was I offered an early check in rate either.. which is a little unusual. But I didn’t fight it since I wasn’t really in a hurry that day. I just thought it was petty to turn me away at 2:53pm.

I did not eat at the hotel as we got up too early to do breakfast there. In the evenings, after coming back from the park, they offer free hotdogs, 1 per person, which I did not have since I don’t like hotdogs but if that’s something you’re into, it’s available after the park closes.

Also, beds are hard but… so are most beds in Japanese hotels so that’s kind of expected. The couch is softer than the beds.

Overall, the best thing about this hotel is the location. Just wanted to be close to the park. Rooms were comfortable and served its purpose.

저는 오픈런 위해서 전날과 당일 2박했습니다. 오픈런부터 폐장시간까지 실컷놀고 돌아올수있었습니다. 강추합니다!!^^
