Great location for USJ!!!

Stayed here as had a 1.5 day ticket to USJ. It took me 15 mins to walk there so is ideal.

The hotel also offers an amenities drawer where you can get bath soaks, toothbrushes etc and as well as having a water machine and microwave has an ice machine which saves you a small fortune (it was super hot when I went so wanted ice all the time).

Staff were pleasant in my interactions with them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here again (esp as it was far cheaper than other hotels in the area)

This hotel was the perfect location for our trip to Universal Japan & the Osaka Aquarium. We are a family of 4 & the 4 single bed room was perfect for us. The hotel staff was helpful as well in terms of holding our bags before and after check in/out and arranging a taxi to the airport for us. It’s conveniently located by the train station, walkable to Universal Japan, and a free ferry ride away from the aquarium and Ferris wheel, and it’s between a Lawson’s and 7-11!!! This is a great place for families!

Huge room and great staff

Staff were super helpful at check in, I was a bit early so I asked if I could wait in the lobby until check in time and they ended up getting the room ready and letting me check in early, which was very kind of them and definitely not expected/required. Room was massive and had a dedicated Aircon unit (not the hotel-wide systems a lot of hotels here have). Bath and toilet are in separate rooms. Everything seems pretty clean and comfy. Thank you for a great stay!

Conveniently located 2 minutes walk away from Sakurajima station and 10 minutes from Universal Studios Japan. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately because it's located so close to the station we had train noise late into the night. The overall condition of the hotel was shabby with many stains on the flooring. Breakfast had lots of variety of both traditional and continental options. We wouldn't stay here again due to the conditions and noise.

Good location in terms of Universal studios - a bit of a hike to the front gate, like ~15 min walk with kids. Surrounds are not very interesting and there isn’t much else there. We walked / took the free ferry over to the area around the aquarium which we and our kids enjoyed but it does take a while. The hotel is very good and the themed rooms are a bit of fun. One of the 4 single beds in our room was quite noisy and the breakfast options for westerners wasn’t fantastic (although the kids might disagree with this statement as there was ice cream and coke available 😆). Overall a good choice for a universal trip.

We stayed for one night for universal. Very easy to walk to station and universal. 7 eleven and lawson are very close. Staff very helpful and friendly. Motel feels with great breakfast options. Beds a bit hard, pillows are very soft and small bathroom/shower.Overall a great stay. 👍

Some nice amenities but not a desirable location

Hotel is close to Universal Studios but not much else. Takes at least 40 minutes to visit any place in Osaka that is not Universal related. We stayed 4 nights and the air conditioning only worked 2 of those nights (and it was not 2 nights in a row). We arrived on big a short time before check-in but staff would not even try to check us in early. Beds were a bit hard as were the pillows. The free breakfast was the best thing, and the kids loved the jungle theme of the room. English instructions for the thermostat and TV remote would also have been helpful. It was also nice that the staff did watch our luggage before check-in and after check out.

Cons:
EXTREMELY uncomfortable beds!
We were given a kids themed room with ladybug theme.
No food options anywhere near hotel other than convenient style food.

Good hotel for the price. Much cheaper than the surrounding hotels around Universal Studios Japan. Walk to the theme park was a little longer than expected, but completely manageable. Room was a little run down with peeling wall paper and semi musty carpets in the halls, but otherwise a pretty clean room. Tons of free toiletries in the lobby. Only a 5-8 minute walk from the train station. Biggest perk was the 7-11 and Lawson stores right next to the hotel.

This is about a ten minutes walk from Universal Japan. The floor I stayed on had a space theme (might be different for other floors). Overall it was a good experience and it helps that there is a 7-11 literally a few meters away from the entrance.

Wonderful hotel experience.

Wonderful staff, beautiful hotel, and great location in easy walking distance of Universal Studios Japan. Easy to get to via the train. The breakfast was incredible, everything was delicious and they had a really wide range of foods from salad to salmon to french toast and ice cream. The only downside was that the beds are a bit too firm but unfortunately most Japanese hotel beds are extra firm so it's par for the course and more a matter of local preference. Convenient 7/11 if you need anything late at night or early morning.

Had a great experience! Got there and they had already reserved a parking spot for us without having booked it. Parking is cheapest in area. Train is 5 min walk to the left of the hotel and Universal Studios is 10 min walk to the right. I booked with breakfast for family at additional cost, still worth it! Small buffet style. Room was spacious with 3 beds for family of 3. Rooms made each day.

The service was fantastic, the buffet breakfast was decent with a good range to choose from. Room well kept with quality shampoo and conditioner. The only thing I struggled with were the beds. They were the hardest beds I’ve ever slept in, the pillows are half filled with something that feels like macaroni.

The JR station was really close and it's walking distance to universal if you really don't feel like taking the train. There's a 711 and a Lawson's within a minute away each side which was great. Staff was extremely friendly the only problem I really had with this hotel was the bed was pretty stiff, and I like a firm bed.

Simply awesome!

Talk about awesome! This hotel was all that plus some. Extremely close to Universal Studios Japan (USJ), Universal City Walk, and the train station. I got a great room that I felt really comfortable in, and I was so close to USJ I could hear the roller coaster and screams of the riders from my room. The view was not so hot as I got the parking garage side of the hotel, but that was a small issue. The hotel staff was hugely helpful and polite. Also, there are two convenience store within a minute’s walk of the hotel. The room was clean, bed was soft, and small refrigerator was just the right size. Also, the hotel has an outer space theme that was pretty eye catching. The La'gent Hotel would definitely be one of my first choice hotels when I go back to Osaka.

Great place if you are going to Universal Studios

We stayed here for 2 nights to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios. It was the ideal place to stay for our purpose. The hotel was only 3 blocks from the train station (you can see it on the left if you take the train from Osaka) and a short 15 walk to Universal Studios. The hotel lobby is modern and bright and the floors have themes. We stayed on the space floor. The room was quite small, but clean and comfortable. There is a small convenience store a few steps away, some big hotels and Universal Studios in the area, that's it. Universal has a very nice food street with lots of choices and a grocery store that is open to the general public.

Generally, the hotel itself is good, but there's nothing around the hotel except the train station. We drove to hotel on the arrival day. We input the hotel phone no. but the GPS can't bring us to the hotel. We checked with hotel and the phone no. is correct.

万博へ行くために利用しました。
シャトルバス乗り場に程近く、便利でした。
ローソンとセブンイレブンがホテルの両方隣りに。周辺に飲食店等は見当たらず、コンビニにお世話になりました。
ロビー付近に給水機や、製氷機、電子レンジもあります。
簡易清掃とのアナウンスありましたが、清掃が行われた形跡は無く、タオルと部屋着交換のみ、それはOKでしたが、コップの交換はして欲しかったです。
ユニバ側で、万博も考慮すると、お値段相応な印象でした。滞在を目的としてないので、おおむねまんぞくでした。

急な前日予約で小学生２人と家族４人でお世話になりました。
三階建てのアットホームなホテルながら
館内は綺麗でお部屋は明るく充分な広さ、インテリアも可愛くスッキリして快適でした。
お風呂も浴槽もちゃんと広く足元まで清潔で良かったです。
シングルベット三台にソファベッド表記を納得の上で予約したので
自分(母)は仮寝覚悟でしたが、きちんと四台目もマットレスを置いてメイキングしてくださっており嬉しい誤算でした。
玄関口の駐車スペースは数台しか不可、第二駐車場を貸していただきましたがちょっと離れています。暑い時期なのもありそこだけ多少不便でした。
清掃スタッフさんが外国の方ですが、
エレベーター内で仲間内のお喋りや
同乗者に御構い無く我先に出入りしてしまうのはスタッフの教育不足か、そこまで求めるのは昨今国際基準から外れるのかもなぁと自問してしまいました。
朝食がとっても美味しく楽しめました。あのお値段ですごいサービスだと思いました。
また機会があれば利用したいと思えるホテルでした。ありがとうございました。

桜島駅から近く周辺はコンビニのみで、とても静かでした。アメニティが充実していて、着替えのみの手ぶらでいけます。チェック前、後でも荷物を預かってもらえるので、コインロッカーの心配もいりません。スタッフさんも対応良かったし施設も綺麗でしたが、唯一浴室だけが髪の毛がやたら落ちていて残念でした。

朝食ブッフェが安くて美味しかったです。
つい朝から食べすぎた。

ベッドも快適。
エアコンの冷えも早かったですが、カードキーと電機が連動しているので、連れが寝静まってる時に1人外に出ると、エアコンも切れるので、やや気になりましたが、部屋にいる人が起きていれば全く問題ないです。

エアコンについて。
クーラーの風の向きを手元リモコンで普通に調節できるのですが(エアコンフラップの向きを)上手く調節できず。直接当たる感じもありましたが、それも温度や布団、マスク等で対応出来ました。

部屋パジャマにズボンがあるのが良かったです。

そのほか氷＆水も館内に常備。
全体的にお部屋も綺麗だし、チェックアウト後のスーツケース預かりも非常に助かりました。

expediaで安く泊まれて、リニューアルされている実際の館内設備もお得に感じました。

Zepp大阪ベイサイトのライブに行くために、宿泊しました。Zeppの隣で近くにセブンイレブンとローソンがあり桜島駅も近くとても便利でした。外食出来そうな場所が近くでは見つけられそうに無かったので今回コンビニご飯にしましたが、コンビニご飯が嫌な方はホテルのレストランご飯を予約した方が良いと思います。
トイレとお風呂が別々なのが使いやすくて清潔にされていて満足でした。
