The hotel is a really outdated. The breakfast has many choices but half of the dishes were not heated well. The room was really stuffy even when I turned the air conditioner to 16C. A bit disappointed in the condition of the hotel.

I was on a 2 weeks trip in taiwan, this is my 4th hotel stayed & the most uncomfortable hotel. The bed mattress was very hard, backache after 2 nights. During checked in, the staff was very impatient with us. Hotel do not have carpark, public carpark was about 10 mins walk from hotel.

Staff are friendly and very responsive. Having laundry options, the gym, a microwave, ice maker, and a lounge area all on the top floor was super convenient.
It’s close to good restaurants and a decent shopping area.

The only issue you may run into, is the drive home if you’re working in Science Park. You have to leave by 5, if you don’t want to spend 40 mins taking a 11 min trip.

Carlton used to be quite good condition years back when I stayed. Unfortunately, this time I feel the condition was kinda old, don’t seems to be well maintained. Hygiene wish is acceptable though, and the service by staff are still good and friendly.

中央空調沒有暖氣，跟櫃檯反應送了一台非常小的暖氣。但有跟沒有一樣，房間還是很冷。後來櫃檯說可以換房間，但要換到沒有窗戶的房間，說：沒有窗戶的房間會比較暖？
因為不喜歡沒有窗戶的房間就沒有換了，櫃檯給多給了一個棉被。
完全不推薦，也不會再訂這間飯店了

Stayed 11 nights. Prepaid via Expedia, picked up room card and went straight to the room. Smooth staff-less check in. Large size executive queen room with good size bathroom in Taiwan standard. Balcony can overlook the city buildings. Only complaint about about the cleanliness is the aged carpet, needs an update. Food is better than expected with 3 meals delivered on time. After 3 days, hotel accommodated my request of vegetarian food only with great attitude and the same good quality meal. Will book this hotel again if needed.

Always my best choice when I visit hsinchu.. place is near to 陈皇庙, SOGO mall etc.. cleanliness is still good, never fail me.. Carlton has washing machine, iron board, table tennis, gym and a place to sit and chill on the top floor.. quite a nice facilities to have if you need it.. staff are friendly.. overall pleasant experience , will continue to come back

Restaurant wasn't reached the same standard

Hotel staffs are quite nice and service was great. One thing g I would like to complain was for the restaurant downstairs. They said customer who has birthday on this month get half price discounted, so I did ask for that promotion and I did show them my passport when I sit down. After I finish my lunch, they told me I am not qualified for that promotion because I was eating lunch alone and they had to charge me the full price. I was so shocked that no one mentioned that to me, even when they asked my passport to prove my birthday, no one ever mention that till I get the bill. I am so upset about it, even I was speaking the same language, they still try to do that kind of cheating business. I also noticed there was a foreigner who ordered food and kept waiting for so long and no one came to explain or cared about his feeling. Anyway the food wasn't that good and I hated the service experience I had there.

Ok hotel but nothing great.

Old hotel with its problems - shower water leaked into the room, broken bedside lamp that can't be turned off, internet cable that wasn't working, air con temperature sensor doesn't work, etc. However, service was good. Staff did try to help rectify the problems highlighted (I didn't highlight all, just a couple of important ones) and room was very clean. Can't comment on surrounding areas as I didn't have time to explore around.

Location and breakfast are very good. But the hotel itself is quite old, which I don't mind if the air filtering system is good. Unfortunately that area can get quite polluted so the room smells with a combination of pollutants, cigarettes, and cleansing liquids. With this price you can get better hotels in Taipei.

Parking is not easy, if you wanna go out after checkin, visitor has to park at different area. Or if you come back to late, you can’t park at hotel’s park area. BTW, the mattress is harder then other hotel’s, not comfortable for pregnant women.

Great hotel for family

Checkin was smooth. Had a corner quad room unit which was next to the chambermaids store. Little noisy in the morning. Room size and bedding was fine with extra comforters and pillows.

Situated opposite a police station so security is good and i was out late and felt safe. Lots of food and convenience stores nearby too.

Cab to most attractions nearby is about 100nt and very convenient. Hotel does the booking and cab arrives within 5mins.

Breakfast is decent, and other facilities are good.
Overall it provides a good place to stay for a biz trip.
It also provides a meeting room on the first floor.
The hotel allowed us to use it whenever possible; it was very convenient.

Free movies and cable TV

There are a variety of different new movies in many different categories. They also provide cable TV with lots of channels. The only drawback I would say is the bathtub got some stain on it. But overall it's pretty good.

Nice hotel near night market

We stayed in the deluxe king room. The room was very spacious and clean. Probably it was due to the cold weather (it was 12 degree celsius that night), the room air con is not cooling and can get stuffy, so we have to leave the windows opened to let the cool air in.

The hotel receptionist was friendly and helpful, and was able to advise on some selection of local food nearby.

The Chenghuang Temple Night Market is just about 5 minutes walk away from the hotel.

The hotel has a basement car park which they will valet parked your car and we get free parking for our stay there.

Definitely worth the price

Great service and the room is good. Provides free entertainment like ping pong table & pool table, gym equpments, massage chair and even free self laundry room. Breakfast is wonderful, with varieties from western, chinese, korean and even japanese food. Ambience of the restaurant we had our breakfast at was good too, recommend people to get breakfast buffet along with the room. Only setback was their elevator carpark's entrace was too narrow and was situated at a narrow alley, was not able to get the car to enter despite some tries. In the end had to park at a public (fee paid by hotel) carpark and walked like 10 min back to the hotel.

Bargain!

A well maintained hotel. Arrived late at around 9pm but the street was still bustling. Convenient access to shops and eateries. Check-in and check-out smooth. The breakfast buffet was a selection of Chinese, Japanese and Western food. Good value for a weekend hotel with free parking, Wifi and breakfast.

Overall, its great. the additional bed requested was too soft, it just bend in the middle part, not too good for sleeping posture.
Friendly staff as when I ask them about some facility is provided at the theme part which they are not too sure, and they just called the theme park to check and confirm.

A fair choice

Everything is o.k. especially the breakfast service. The building is old though. The ladder space is not opened usually and no air condition in this area is a problem. If you fly there, don't be late in the night. Otherwise, the taxi is the only service from Taipei International Airport to Hsin-Chu city.

This hotel was very sumptuous, it was very comfortable and had a lot of amenities. The staff was excellent in their job; being polite and helpful. The beds might be a little on the hard side, but if you like it that's a perk. The fitness room was sufficient. The breakfast was very good, with lots of choices and quick service. Location was very nice, close to everything. I would stay here again.

晚上12點洗澡沒有熱水，妹妹住隔壁間也是，打去櫃檯反應發現有很多間房客都有這樣的狀況，還有冬天提供的雙人棉被很薄又很小件，睡覺好冷！
停車場非常不方便，要自己停去附近公設停車場，我妹妹住一晚都花了350停車費，結果飯店只折抵最高上限260元，折扣券還掃不出來最後又回飯店反應，我自己是停到更遠的停車場，沒有提供折扣券，是先繳錢後再拿收據回飯店（要開車），飯店再給你260元，總之整體住下來讓人生氣的點很多，設備也都舊舊的，浴室很多發霉邊角，房間內插座根本不夠，房內也很潮濕，床摸起來軟軟濕濕德，唯一優點只有離市區近。

新竹に滞在する際に何度か利用しています。設備は少し古い感じで、シャワーが熱水のハンドルと冷水のハンドルを自分で調整してうまい具合の温度にするタイプなのが少し不便を感じましたが、特に問題というほどでもないです。ウォシュレットはTOTOの新しいものがついていました。ベットが結構固めだったのですが、私は堅めのベットが好きなのでここはプラス点。また、ベットのブランケットがマットレスに挟みこまれていないところも良いと思いました。（私はブランケットとシーツがマットレスに挟みこまれてピッチピチになっているのがあまり好きではないので。）朝食は付いていないプランだったので朝食の評価はしません。

1）住在七樓房間，舖了塑膠地板，但地板下高低不平，實在太明顯了。
2）房門口的請勿打擾燈光號誌非常不明顯，出門前特別交代櫃檯不用打掃。但晚上回到房間是有人進來整理過了。
3）冷氣很冷，即使設定26度，室內溫度都是21度。
4）整體而言，還是很乾淨清潔的住宿環境。不錯。

房間充電位置很少，雙人床只有一邊床頭有充電位置，而且是沒電源的。
只能用桌子旁邊的電源，可是也充得超~級~慢~~

另外，飯店沒有內建停車場。
最近的停車場飯店不包。
要走到很遠對於拖行李的客人很不方便，下雨天更是不得了。
說是飯店包含免費停車，結果停⼀個晚上取車，用完飯店給的停車折扣卷還是要付錢的。
