I booked a King bed room and fully paid. They only inform me that King bed was unavailable upon check-in and gave a room with Twin bed. This happened to my friends too. Totally unprofessional.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Seda BGC. The staff were very helpful, friendly, and always willing to answer my questions. Unfortunately, I became sick during my stay, but the hotel staff went above and beyond to assist me. They helped arrange a hospital visit and even had a nurse accompany me from the hotel to the hospital. They really took great care of me and continued to check on my well-being the following day before I traveled home.

I also loved their club lounge, which offers a wide selection of breakfast options. My son enjoyed his stay as well—it was his first time in Manila. The location is very safe and convenient, with easy access to shopping centers and many great restaurants.

I can’t say enough about the excellent service. Even the laundry service was very well done. I would definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit Manila.

This property is in a good location, only a few steps to Bonifacio High street for shopping and a good selection of eateries. It is also close proximity to Market Market/Ayala Mall (5 min walk) and Megaworld Uptown Mall (8-10 min walk).

Considering this hotel is located in the heart of BGC, the daily rate is pretty reasonable.

The rooms are pretty clean. The furnitures do see aging. They should at least keep it close to new.

I requested the room to be cleans once during my stay. The comforter/duvet had a stain. That is why scored them 3 stars.

It’s a great hotel and enjoyed their breakfast but the room I stayed in had this damp smell and after reporting it twice and checked by their staff, smell lingered on through our stay. Not sure what exactly they did to remedy the issue but it seems like they just sprayed the room even though they said they’d have to clean the ventilation, which only temporarily covered the smell.

This was my 3rd time staying here and I will continue to ALWAYS stay here when I want to be in the BGC area. Shoutout to Wency, Ishy, JR, & Ced! You were all phenomenal. My superstar recognition goes to Yushane who was running the breakfast floor with such urgency while still being accommodating and kind! I’m not sure what her position is but she looked like she was running that entire dining room. I was watching her and it was almost like a ballet of service as she was positively commanding the room via her team and the guests. Bravo!!!

I’ve stayed at Cedar BGC several times over the past few months and generally found it to be a decent hotel. I travel to Manila regularly for business and have often stayed here with colleagues. Overall, the property itself is fine, but service — particularly during breakfast — needs improvement. Egg orders are frequently incorrect, service can be slow, and coffee orders are often forgotten.

Unfortunately, my most recent stay has completely changed my view.

During this stay, I accidentally knocked over a highball glass while unplugging a phone cable in my room. The glass shattered on the stone tabletop. I cleaned up the visible glass immediately and informed both concierge and the front desk, out of concern that housekeeping staff could be injured by any remaining shards.

Rather than acknowledging the safety concern or thanking me for reporting it, the staff showed no concern and repeatedly focused on charging me 200 pesos for the broken glass. While the amount itself is trivial, the insistence on charging for a genuine accident felt unnecessarily petty and left a very poor impression — especially given that I am a repeat guest.

It’s disappointing that such a small, inflexible charge overshadowed what could have been handled with basic courtesy. Unfortunately, this experience has ensured that I will not be staying here again, nor will I recommend this hotel to colleagues.

My only complaint: I arrived at 1am on a Saturday night, was told the rooftop bar closed at 2am. I went to the bar and he didn’t want to serve me bc it was too late. I told him the concierge said it closed at 2. He sighed and made me a drink. When I went outside to the roof deck, there were easily 100 people enjoying drinks.

I would stay again and see the improvements bc there’s limited choices in BGC Taguig ofcourse not to mention Shangrila & Grand Hyatt bec they always aim 5 stars excellence.
Seda ofcourse has great potential but consistency and eye for details will deserve them excellence.
I stayed 14th floor and asked moved to another room with a shower door bc the bathtub & shower in one is unsafe and inconvenient (no doors, even no curtains) after shower it’s wet and waters all over the whole bathroom ( management would know this simple detail especially an elder may fall and die anytime). The buffet foods looks very nice and looks bountiful, but if it really lack choices. Since it’s in Manila I would suggest tapa, tocino, adobo, pancit must be in daily breakfast menu ( both locals and foreigners can relate to meat and noodles ). High five for breads and pancakes plus Filipino breads choices. The juice area is inconvenient bc how do one help get his drink with his one hand holding a plate? Invest with modern push button coffee choice/machine since there is only one coffee bar machine and my Americano always warm not hot when it was served. Most foods are very salty and greasy. The front desk staffs looks very unhappy. The room service staff and restaurant and even the front guards are very nice friendly & professionals.
The hallway carpets in the 8th and 14th hallway smells pig farm, sorry it’s true.
Hopefully by April things can be better when I get back. I love Seda Manila Bay :)

We like that they accommodate us for early check in since we just arrived from the airport. Clean. Comfortable bed. The only issue is that for the breakfast they never refill the Taho section. Great service from opening the taxi door on arrival to closing the taxi door upon leaving.
All staff were extremely curteous, the room was clean and spacious and it was great to get a comfortable bed a powerful hot shower (not always gauranteed in Philippines).
Seda is a very short 5 minute walk to BGC High Street where you will find all the shops and restaurants you're ever likely to need ).
Do check out the roof top bar for a nightcap and great views over the local area.
2nd floor pool area was clean and the gym was well maintained.
Would definitely stay again.
