We enjoyed our stay at the hotel largely because we had a recently refurbished and very comfortable room with a sea view and balcony.
The hotel has now been painted a creme colour which in our view is not as attractive as it is pictured above.

We were staying for a large conference and the delegates stayed here and at 2 sister hotels nearby. Room was excellent, comfortable and complimentary water, tea/coffee and evening turn down service. Breakfast was good quality albeit not a massive range but more than enough choice. Food served for the confernece dinners was very good and service was polite and excellent.
Swam in outdoor pool which was heated and indoor pool is more for relaxation and smaller.
Did not have time to try the spa or other facilities.

Newly renovated large hotel. Good location and good service. Room was lovely with comfortable bed. Beach restaurant could be better, however breakfast was excellent. Free bikes were brilliant. Loungers on beach we’re expensive and quite uncomfortable with no mattress. Overall though an enjoyable stay.

An amazing 2 night stay as a wedding anniversary treat. 1st class service and beautiful room overlooking the front of the hotel. Even though it was a classique room it was beautifully decorated with luxury bathroom toiletries and towels changed every time you left the room!. Enjoyed the pool and bath robes allocated for such use. Didn't eat in the restaurant as both the breakfast and evening meals were over priced we thought. Plenty of good restaurants at the nearby port of Le Poulegan and good cafe nearby for breakfast. Sheer luxury and a delight to stay there. Located right by the beautiful beach and we used the free bikes to cycle to the port of Pornichet right along the dedicated cycle route following the coast road, lovely. Casino nearby too.

The high cost of accommodation at the hotel is justified by the excellence of the facilities and services. However, having payed the high price, I object to the extortionate prices of food & beveridge.

Reality is not what is promoted
Unfortunately the hotel did not meet our expectations. We were travelling by motorbike and one of the main reasons for choosing the hotel was its promotion of secure parking - this turned out to be park by the window of the reception of the hotel on the pavement. The hotel is very dark inside with everything painted dark brown the rooms continue this theme and are very small.

Un peu déçu de ne pas avoir pu avoir accès au spa hamam et sauna malgré qu'au téléphone avant réservation on m'avait pourtant dit que c'était accessible. Par apport au covid la réorganisation pour les petits déjeuner génère un peu d'attente. Pour le tarif je m'attendais à avoir accès à tout les services et pas d'attente mais certaine que le personnel se donnent le maximum pour satisfaire sa clientèle

Il nous manquait juste la baignoire compenser par une très grande douche. Petite idée que nous pouvons soumettre, agrémenté avec un jacuzzi serait un plus et pour le prix le parking gratuit mais l'hôtel est très bien équipé quand même , bien situé, tout peut se faire a pied ou à vélo prêtes eux gracieusement par l'hôtel. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil de l'hôtel, le service de conciergerie unique par sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse, réellement détendant et facilitant. Notre chambre était très agréable, malgré une température froide de notre salle de bains, défaut chronique déjà observé l'année dernière. Les services (piscines, tennis, spa, salle de fitness) sont des atouts de l'hôtel avec une vue splendide et unique sur l'océan. Un petit bémol : la grande salle à manger manque de convivialité. A recommander le bar de l'hôtel très pro et intimiste, un régal à profoter en couple, en famille, entre amis. Une très belle adresse du Groupe Barrière !

Personnel formidable et dévoué bémol sur le restaurant très cher . Nous faisons remarque que le poisson de mon plat est trop cuit nous le faisons reporté en cuisine . On nous le ramène mais 10 minutes plus tard précisant que le chef le trouve très bien cuit !!! Et souffle chocolat pas cuit !! Service = The service is really good, I have rarely seen such a good hotel with such good service. I have seen this only in hotels where the price per night is above or around 1000 euro.
Food = Was OK, and above average of what you would expect of such an hotel. However, the fish/sea restaurant was amazingly good! Breakfast was one-sided, and not tasty. Me, and my wife did not enjoy it once. Moreover, I think that after 12:00 at night sufficient and decent food must be available. This was not the case, through the room service only lasagna and such, (which was often finished), and everything else is closed after 12/1 at night in the hotel.
Do not let this stop you from visiting this hotel and the other hotels of the Barriere group. The service was so formidable that we even left around 500 euros TIP in total (if not more). We are guaranteed to visit these, and other hotels of the Barriere group once again, and this time for a longer period than the one week we have been there.
Especially for couples this hotel is perfect, we really did enjoy our time there.
