Fantastic location if you're spending some time in Rome. Down a small side street but close to the trevi fountain and Pantheon. Staying here made Rome so walkable! The only criticisms I have is with the elevator and the shower. It is the smallest elevator on the planet. I couldn't fit in it with my suitcase and my backpack. Otherwise - perfect location, beautiful terrace, and lovely staff.

Great hotel. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The room was clean and the bathroom had a lot of light. There was coffee and tea in the room which I always like! The breakfast was the highlight for me. Set on the rooftop terrace with nice music and a fresh selection of delicious items to eat. I loved the local items but there was something for everyone to enjoy. I would stay here again!

The room we stayed in was newly renovated and the building itself was nice. Breakfast on the rooftop of the main hotel was excellent. However, the phone in our room didn’t work, and in the annex building where we stayed there were no kettles or drink options. A coffee bar was set up near the elevator, but unfortunately it was unplugged and had no water. The air conditioning also wasn’t really blowing cold air, which made the room uncomfortable at times. When we needed to get a hold of reception late in the evening, we had to physically walk up the street and around the corner to the main hotel to speak with them, which was inconvenient. All that being said, it was a nice hotel, there are just some basics that could have been improved.

An excellent stay. Zero complaints.
We chose the suite with the balcony bathtub. Awesome room, brand new refurbished, big balcony, comfy bed, working aircon, nice shower.
Receptionist was lovely, very friendly and helpful.
Note - The room was a 2 minute walk around the corner in a different building, but simple to find.
Awesome location, pretty much everything is walkable. About a zillion restaurants close by too.
All in all, excellent, zero complaints. Would 100% recommend.

Very nice and helpful staff. Great location. Tiny 2 person no luggage or 1 person plus luggage elevator. The room was nice. I was glad that the windows opened. Tiny bump your elbows shower! I’m glad it was Autumn and I didn’t have to shave my legs because I couldn’t have. I loved that they left bottled water every day. When I said we’d miss breakfast because of an early tour, they insisted on making us boxed meals to take. So nice! Don’t do the rooftop Aperol Spritz. It was just 2 bottles, potato chips and peanuts.

This is my 5th stay at this hotel and it will continue to be my go-to when staying in Rome. Walkable to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Great dining options within 10-15 minute walking distance. The hotel itself is reasonably priced, great terrace breakfast, and staff are lovely.

Great location, just a couple of minutes from the Spanish Steps and reasonable walking distance to the Colosseum, Forum and Vatican. Room was clean and whilst not large it was big enough. It could be a bit noisy outside at times and there was a weird intermittent humming noise from time to time . Maybe the air conditioning? But thankfully that didn't happen during the night. Breakfast on the roof terrace was lovely. Overall the location and Aperols on the roof made up for the noise and would happily stay here again. The reception staff were very helpful too.

Nice little hotel in a perfect location

Nice hotel, have been there for the New Years. The room was clean, location was perfect, at New Years Eve we founr a little bottle of prosecco and 2 glasses in our room, it was nice. The hotel also has a nice terrance in the last floor with a beautiful view to the city.

Loved this hotel, and there is a lot to like. it is quirky, centrally located and the staff were brilliant. The roof terrace was a great place, and the breakfast was excellent. The only things that stop this being a 5 star fir me is the tiny lift, the slightly tired carpets and the fact that our shower was a hand held one. However I would definitely stay here again as it was not your standard chain hotel

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of Nov 2023. The hotel is located within walkable distance to Rome major attraction. Complementary breakfast every morning was excellent with coffee customized to order every time. The hotel staffs were very nice and helpful. When we came in to check in around 8am our room wasn't ready, which is understandable, so we had to leave our luggages at the concierge. When we returned around 5pm our room was ready and all our luggages were already in the room, not so many hotels do this anymore. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Don’t waste your money!!

Horrible end to our Italy trip. We had booked 7 nights in Rome. Hotel room was so small it felt claustrophobic. We only had inches of space next to the bed. No closet space at all. Hotel staff first offered a change of room at extra charge,we agreed but then the next day other hotel receiptionist said that room was given away. They did not try to help our situation. Be aware pictures are misleading. Breakfast was not great. Staff as not helpful at all. Definitely worth the money we paid to stay 7 days. Only positive was it’s location.

I visited with my siblings during the middle of a heatwave in Rome, but Hotel Concordia was absolutely fantastic!

The property was so clean, and the air conditioning in our room was much appreciated!

The staff were so friendly, very much multilingual, and more than eager to help us.

The property was located so close to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain, and so close to convenient transport links (bus stops to the Vatican City and the Colosseum were so close by).

The view from the rooftop was beautiful, too, whether during the morning or at dusk. My siblings and I enjoyed some quiet evenings up on the rooftop, with beautiful panoramic views of Rome.

We felt really lucky to have chosen such a beautiful, affordable property to stay at.

We would kindly recommend Hotel Concordia to anyone able-bodied, as the elevator would be too small to fit a wheelchair.

Thank-you to the lovely staff for making us feel so welcome!

Stayed at this property 3 separate times over the course of 1 year. It has improved since my first visit. Lobby is modern and new, air conditioning always worked. Rooms are somewhat modernized and clean. Mini fridge and safe in each room. Hotel staff 24/7 and luggage storage available. The prices are reasonable considering it’s proximity to the Spanish Steps. Breakfast is plenty and diverse. Beautiful terrace for breakfast and if you arrive before 7am, you can hear the church bells from the Vatican. Staff is friendly and available for any questions. Would recommend and return.

Hotel Concordia is an ideal location for the best tourist spots in Rome! After our hearty delicious breakfasts at the hotel, we enjoyed our early morning walks to the Spanish steps when the sun was just starting to peek through the Church of the Santissima Trinita dei Monti at the top of the Piazza. You can take the great photo ops at this time, hardly more than ten people at this time of the day! What I love most about the hotel is, the staff made our stay so warm, comfortable, we felt really welcome in Rome. Just spent 7 nights at Concordia. Hotel is simple and would need renovation (very old floor in room 405) but the room was quiet (no view), staff is helpful and the view from the terrace is pretty.
Thank you to front desk (Brenda, Michelle, Danielle) for helping us booking museum tickets (bureaucratic nightmare in corona time)!
We loved having breakfast on the terrace with different pastries every day (lady offered tiramisu and chocolate mousse in the morning 😀)
Perfect location with everything you need within 10 minute walk, plus busses or subway to explore Rome.
Buy a public transportation pass if you want to spare your feet. Would go back again but book a bigger/newer room.

The hotel overall was good. We loved having breakfast at the terrace, however the guy working there in the morning seemed to be overwhelmed. Capuccinos and lattes took for ever, same thing to get tables cleaned and reset. The young gentleman working AM at the front desk was super helpfull and gave us some tips. On the other hand, the gentleman with glasses and white hair couldnt even recomend a nice restaurant close by. Lastly, our bedroom was horrible! super tiny. My in law made the same reservation that we did and they got a bigger room, they even had a balcony. This was very dissapointing. Location is great, super close to Piazza Spagna.

This hotel is located within walking of most of Rome's main attractions. The staff were all friendly and spoke English well which made it easier to navigate.

The room came as pictured on the website and we thought it was great value for money with the deal we got through Expedia.

Depending on who else was staying on your floor you could hear other guests, this did not bother us too much as we were mostly in the room in the evening/night when others were being quiet anyway.

The breakfast buffet was good and provided a selection to accommodate to everyone and the roof terrace is nice - with a nice view in the evenings if you want to take your own drinks up there and enjoy.

Overbooked rooms and poor customer service

Upon arrival the hotel had overbooked so one triple room was in one hotel and the other triple room in another hotel. This was not ideal and although the hotel changed this the following night so the rooms were in the same hotel, the hotel staff did not deal with the inconvienience caused for the first night appropriately, which in my opinion shows poor customer service.

Mold and mildew in shower.

The hotel is in a very good location, within walking distance of the Trevi fountain, Spanish steps etc.
The huge problem was the bathroom, specially the shower. It was disgusting, full of mold and mildew. Looked like those walls had never been scrubbed. The only reason we didn't leave was that we were beyond exhausted coming off our cruise and we didn't want to deal with it. I alerted the front desk about this and was told that they had change ownership in January (I don't know what that has to do with cleanliness) and were trying to do better. The personnel were friendly and efficient. The hotel offered a life saving car service to the airport, so that was a plus.

A very nice centrally located hotel - staff were eager to please and awesome. The breakfast was absolutely terrific. The room was small, but adequate. Bed was firm and very comfortable. Room lacked coffee/tea facilities. One had to go to the breakfast room to get this between their open hours. The windows in the room opened right onto a street and there was perpetual noise and people screaming outside all night long. People walking down the street and some hotel across the street, talking at the top of their voices even at 2,3,4,5 am making it difficult to sleep as we needed to have the window open for air. Very loud and noisy, but that is Rome in general.

The bathroom was very, very tiny; one could barely close the door without hitting oneself - same with the shower - it was barely about 3’x 3’. Bathroom lacked even one shelf to be able to put your basic toothbrush etc. on. No hooks behind the door to be able to hang anything at all.

All in all, a decent place and I would perhaps stay there again as it was a great location and great breakfasts!

I lived in this hotel for 2 months in the summer of 1982, had great memories of it, tho on recent visits I stayed in more expensive and luxurious places. But I recently returned for a short stay when passing through Roma on the way to Palermo and was not disappointed. It's very conveniently located and the best deal in the Piazza di Sagna neighborhood. Room is tiny but clean, with a comfortable bed, and a nice bathroom. Staff remains very nice and attentive.

Good Hotel In The Centre Of Rome

This hotel is placed a stroll down from Spagna to which is near the Spanish steps and the Trevi fountain. It is also a few minutes walk from the banberini metro. The location was fantastic and was placed perfectly so you could see all the sights. The staff were friendly and helpful for advice on Rome itself. We were placed on 5th floor which was ok as we were young but if you are a senior citizen then the stairs could be a struggle as they are quite steep. The lift was available but didn't use as was really small and was happy to take the stairs. We did have breakfast included which was ok but nothing exciting.

Terrible customer service, very noisy room

We booked 5 nights with Hotel Concordia weeks ago but upon our arrival we were told that we couldn't stay in the hotel that night and they would put us up in another hotel, Domus Romana, for the one night. We were assured that it was a four star hotel and that we would be quite happy. Well. Four star my butt. The shower didn't drain, the shower screen didn't seal so the bathroom flooded when we washed and it smelt like sewage in the morning. The hotel also hadn't been updated since the 70s.
When did get to stay at Concordia we were put in a room facing the street and it was extremely noisy and had no curtains, just outside shutters so the room was bright at night. We cannot recommend the hotel, the customer service was terrible and it seems overlooking and moving customers is standard practice, there were other people at reception being told they were overbooked as well.

I would have liked to review Hotel Concordia but I can't as on our arrival we were told no rooms were available and we were being put in Hotel La Fenice around the corner. This hotel was extremely dated, it wasn't anywhere near the standard of what we had booked and paid for and the rate per night was less that what we had prepaid for Concordia but no refund on the difference was forthcoming. We overheard this happen to another two couples while we were there also, this is obviously standard practice for them. We had booked our room weeks ago and the hotel obviously knew they were overbooked but didn't bother to let us know before our arrival. Extremely deceitful and we would not recommend either Concordia or La Fenice.

Wonderful little hotel in Rome

The Hotel Concordia was the perfect little hotel for my short stay in Rome. It is very clean and the beds & pillows are very comfortable. The staff is very friendly, courteous & helpful. It is located within walking distance of all the main sights, close to restaurants & shopping. If I find myself traveling to Rome again, I would choose to stay here.

Awful experience from the start. Stay elsewhere!!!

When we first got there they said we were upgraded to a bigger room. The room was still tiny and on the fifth floor. The elevator only fits one person and half the time it’s stuck on another floor because someone would leave the door open So I would have to climb 5 flights of stairs most of the time. Also... imagine how it was getting our luggage to the 5th floor... not fun. Upon entering the room. It had a dirty carpet that they tried to cover the smell up with a horrible smelling scented cleaner that literally hurt my nose and gave me a headache. I tried opening the windows to air it out and it didn’t work. When I went to change rooms they wouldn’t let me (even though I was paying for another room) because I put the room under my brothers name (who changed his mind and wasnt coming). The air conditioner didn’t work in our room. They control it at the front desk so you have to keep Calling for them to Lower it and give you air. Still never worked. Finally and most upsetting, I put up a do not disturb sign and someone came in anyway and closed my window (left open to air out the smell) and who ever came in stole a Murabo rosary I purchased at st marks in Venice. They denied everything and there was no point arguing the point because the service was awful. I have never left a bad review before. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. To be fair if you stay on a lower floor the air seems to work aNd it’s hard wood floor. But the rooms is so tiny it’s unreal.

The man at the front desk, in the afternoon, was not friendly and seemed annoyed when asked questions. Check in was super fast, which was great. He handed me a slip of paper with the WiFi information but failed to mention that there was an outage and no WiFi for the day. *The bed and the bathroom walls had hair on them and the decorative bed pillows were all stained. The small hallways were conjested with garbage bags with the linens from daily cleaning. Carpeting was filthy. Also, a friend staying in another room had someone steal rosaries she purchased at the Vatican. The explanation the cleaning lady made was that someone came in the room claiming to be a family member. So secure your valuables. The only good thing was the location and the small terrace on the rooftop

Excellent stay and superb service

The hotel was perfectly located in between Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps and was within walking distance of many other Rome sights. The street was quiet and not in the tourist foot traffic. Everyone working at the hotel from the bell boy, reception staff and breakfast staff was very friendly, polite and accommodating. The breakfast served on the rooftop was splendid and satisfying and fresh every day and the view from the rooftop was beautiful. The Twin deluxe room had ample space for two considering that in general the hotel rooms in Rome are quite small. I was very pleased with our stay at the Hotel Concordia and would highly recommend this hotel to all.

The room and shower were ridiculously small (tiny). The shower was so tiny you could not bend to wash your lower extremities. The desk staff were haughty. Only the female desk clerk that checked us out was congenial . Overall, not a good experience.

Clean hotel

Hotel was very clean and convenient location. Walking distance to everything. However bed is very hard, and AC was not on so room was very hot. We slept with windows opened and heard garbage trucks all morning.

What a perfect location!

This really is a perfectly located hotel in the middle of all the things you will want to see and do. It's very local to some great restaurants and cafe's, the rooms are clean and perfectly ok, and the staff couldn't do more to help! Love it!

Room is not dirty but dusty. Old bathroom need renovation. Aircon in our room is not working properly. Breakfast is buffet but it’s a typical food for breakfast.

Basic but in a good location

If you’re looking for something super simple like a bed and a bathroom and two square metres of floor space then this is perfect for you. We only stayed for three nights and it was exactly what we needed, albeit a bit smaller than the photographs make it appear. There was only really one staff member that was nice to us for five minutes as e checked out but I also found in general, the people of Rome to be quite rude so I do think it is just a culture thing. Breakfast was included but it is quite basic a few pastries, toast and cereal. Its in Good spot and we walked to the Trevi foundation in 5 mins, a few minutes from a strain station which are easy to navigate. we even walked back to the hotel from the colosseum and there is a little coop supermarket nearby. Overall it was good for what we needed but I would probably try somewhere else next time I visit Rome.

Good value hotel

The hotel is situated in a very central position which is brilliant. As most hotels are it is on a busy street so quite noisy at night but no more than the majority. Rooms are clean, cosy but more than adequate. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The lift is very small just about caters for 2 adults. Disappointed that there was not tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The breakfast was varied and excellent quality. Good value for money.

Terrible experience; ONLY good location

Staff didn’t have a clue, all saying different things. (E.g) mini bar was complimentary/the other saying you have to pay. The only thing in the fridge was 2 fizzy drinks and 2 small bottles of water.
Room walls might as well of been made out of paper, you could hear everything. I mean “everything”, even the room next door flushing the toilet.
Tv channels were rubbish, either no sound or all in Italian. At least have one news channel.
Water/toilet system was awful. Our toilet blocked and we told Reception but no one came to fix it.
Breakfast was terrible, the fruit looked liked it was rotten, sitting there for hours. We NEVER had breakfast at the hotel.
The whole experience of the hotel ruined our trip! Would never stay there again! What topped it off was when we were leaving, no one helped us with our language to get out of the hotel! WHAT A JOKE!
