This hotel has fantastic views in multiple directions, and many of the rooms have private terraces. The private beach with bar and beds amongst the rocks was an unexpected amenity that we loved. The pool is small but is nestled between small cliffs...truly unique. The location was quiet and only a few minutes from the center of La Maddalena, but don't expect to easily walk into town...it was about 1.5 miles, which is steeply uphill on the return. We recommend this location if you have a car.

Very quaint property in an isolated area. This is not a hotel. These are private small villas and there is no reception or staff on site. Keys in lock box and no frills. Clean and in nice condition. WiFi is intermittent. If you have a car and you don’t mind doing everything on your own it’s great. Very relaxing.

\"Family suite\" for 3 people max

The island (La Maddalena) is amazing. So much fun to take the ferry over and experience Sardegna's beautiful hiking, food and beaches. Pros: beautiful location, fantastic breakfast. Cons: We booked a \"family suite\" with a king bed and two single beds. When we arrived in the room, there was a king bed and small sofa bed, which was not going to fit our two adult children. We informed the management and they said that the listing was an error, and that they don't have any rooms that met that description. Fortunately and correctly, they made it right and put our sons in another room. But we did specifically book that hotel because of the number of beds - be aware if you are in the same situation. The second con is that the room reeked of cigarette smoke, but I suppose that's part of the experience in Italy.

Very nice hotel and modern. Breakfast spread was great. Pool was nice but not many seats to lounge around and not really around the pool either (chairs are set back away from pool in grassy area). The new beach club is very expensive and an additional cost. However the hotel is a good comfortable stay and base if you plan to do a boat tour and travel around the island on your own. Beach towel was so fluffy but they only allow one new towel a day so just fyi. However overall I’d recommend it and it’s an easy drive into town for dinners.

The was a horrible smell of sewer throughout the property. Things were incredibly over priced - such as 12E for a coffee when across the street it was 1.5E. The internet never worked. Gym is very very small. Pool was filthy. Rooms extremely small. Plastic chairs to sit on. This was definitely NOT a 5 star hotle

Very good hotel, really enjoyed our stay here. Booking in was professional and efficient.

Pool area and gardens were lovely to sit out in.

Room was high standard, we had a small issue with the electricity going off, but the staff sorted this.

My only gripe is that although I appreciate two free bottles of water a day, for a hotel doing that to every room is so much wastage. Install a filtered water machine in the corridor, everyone has a bottle these days. So much wastage and would make the hotel more eco friendly.

Nice hotel with lovely pool area and views over the harbour. The walk in to town is not very pleasant and so you need a car to access town and surrounding areas so consider this in your planning.
We only had the breakfast in the hotel which was excellent.

We also did the hotel organised boat trip on Dolce Vita which was outstanding and I highly recommend.

Overall the hotel is a bit run down in the common areas etc but the pool area is lovely.

Overwhelmingly excellent. Great hotel, staff friendly and professional, great breakfast, and restaurant. Pool great. Free parking. 5 mins from town.

Only constructive feedback (which was only very a minor annoyance) was that the gym opening hours were bizarre (9-13, 15-21). Given that breakfast was 7-10:30 this essentially means that we couldn’t workout pre-breakfast which was for us the only time we could do it.

Not a bad hotel but in my opinion it was overpriced.
My wife and I stayed here at the end of June and although we had a nice time, we weren't overly impressed with the hotel. The staff were ok but not very friendly. The room itself was clean and comfortable although a bit on the small side.

When I booked it was to include breakfast when we arrived we were told no breakfast, so anger set in I would never have booked it.
The hotel is clean and tidy but definitely not a 5* more like 4*
A very pretentious hotel trying to hard, there is no atmosphere or soul in the place. The staff are very polite. Went to breakfast a couple of times at 18 euros a time but if you wanted poached or omelette or fried eggs it would cost extra money which is a disgrace and outrageous.
No coffee or tea facilities in room apparently health and safety I have never heard such dribble. The beds were quite hard hurt my back don't think I had one good night.
It was a very expensive hotel way overpriced for what is was.
However the pool area was nice. The hotel was in a good location a 20 minute walk to town if you missed the shuttle bus, mind you the driver was always miserable. The beaches were ok not golden sandy though
Overall it was a very expensive hotel to stay in, rooms were clean and well kept.

The hotel is great, excellent location. However, we didn't have a good experience for the breakfast, the personnel was not polite when we asked for espresso coffee (they just served american coffee -dirty water-, we had to beg for an espresso and this is Italy!!!). Also the quality and variety of the breakfast was not according to the level of the hotel. In addition, when we were leaving the breakfast room, the manager didn't allow us to cross the room saying the door was already closed (not in a very polite way), so we needed to find our way around the garden and when we finally passed by the door we realized it was in fact open!!. Summarizing, overall good experience but breakfast and breakfast personnel should improve.

Great hotel with very friendly staff! Spa facilities and both indoor and outdoor swimming pools in great condition.

Very helpful concierge who helped us book a private sail boat to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary.

Our hired car broke down while at the beach and due to language differences we struggled to get our car hire company or breakdown company to help us so we turned to the hotel to assist and they were more than helpful in making the necessary calls and getting us the help we needed swiftly.

Hotel was nice, staff friendly and rooms clean. My only criticism is that the hotel was a bit too pretentious. I've stayed at many 5* hotels, but this seemed to try too hard to be one. Restaurant menu, along with room service menu was limited. Staff at reception and concierge were friendly, helpful and gave excellent recommendations. Overall a pleasant stay

Don't recommend hotel....not a 4 star or 5 star

The hotel staff and hospitality is not of a 5 star standard. At check in the staff did not offer to take our bags to the room. Instead they awkwardly suggested we go to the pool with all of our bags for a non alcoholic welcome drink. We stood their awkwardly after we finished our drinks with our bags waiting for someone to take us to our room. Unfortunately no one showed so we had to walk back to the front desk to request our room keys. Then we were escorted to the room. The staff member checked us into the wrong room. 5 minutes later he returned to tell us we need to change rooms. At the time of checking in the hotel never informed us that the restaurant was closed for a special 8/15 celebration. When we inquired about dinner the front desk said that they might have a table available but would need to check. As hotel guests I would have expected they would have blocked tables off for hotel guests. In any event they found us a table but it was far removed from the festivities and we were basically put into a corner inside and the event took place outside. The front desk and concierge were of little help during the stay. They couldn't recommend a restaurant outside of the hotel and said they could not book us on a boat trip. The hotel is far from port and the shuttle service is sporadic. We walked from the port back to hotel in the evening on several occasions which is a 45 minute walk.

We were really looking forward to our 8-night stay and paid a premium expecting a true 5-star experience. Unfortunately, the reality was a huge disappointment.
The room was incredibly small — barely enough space to walk around with two suitcases and clothes for an 8-day stay. The limited space made it uncomfortable, and the cleaning was average at best. Our balcony faced a noisy parking lot, offering a terrible view and none of the peace we had hoped for.
Breakfast was far from what you'd expect at a luxury hotel — mostly sugary pastries, very little in terms of healthy or standard options like eggs or even bread. Items constantly ran out and we had to ask for basics like glasses, coffee, and refills, waiting for staff to get to us.
There was no coffee or tea provided in the room. A machine could be requested, but you have to pay for the coffee capsules — again, not what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel.
The beach area was another letdown. Only four sunbeds were available for free, without umbrellas. Everything else required payment — starting from €100 per day. For a hotel that charges premium rates, having to pay extra just to lay comfortably on the beach is unacceptable.
The on-site restaurant was also overpriced with a limited menu. Overall, the experience fell far below expectations. I’ve travelled extensively and stayed in many true 5-star hotels around the world — this unfortunately was not one of them.

Hotellet ligger ca 2,5 km från centrum och det kostar 15-20 € att ta en taxi. Hotellet har ingen egen transfer däremellan. Personalen pratar ingen eller ganska dålig engelska så ibland var det svårt att förstå varandra.
Frukosten var väldigt bra och rummen stora och välstädade.
Poolområdet var också väldigt bra med riktigt sköna solsängar.
Det finns en nyöppnad beachclub som tillhör hotellet och ligger ca 200 m därifrån. Dock så fick man inte låna några solsängar trots att man bodde på hotellet. De kostade 70€/dag !!!! Hutlöst dåligt. Drinkarna där kostade 18€ vilket vi också tyckte var i mesta laget.
Vi fick 2 timmar på spa och det var jättefint och mysigt.
Vill man ha någon behandling så var de svindyra.

Das Zimmer und die Sauberkeit waren sehr gut. Die Auswahl und die Qualität des Frühstücks waren super. Das Personal war mal mehr mal weniger freundlich. Das Abendessen (im Rahmen der Halbpension) war auch sehr lecker, allerdings kleine Portionen. Die Getränke beim Abendessen (8€ für eine Cola zero) und an der Bar sind unverhältnismäßig teuer. Der Spa Bereich muss vorher gebucht werden und kann nur maximal 2 Stunden kostenlos genutzt werden, das ist etwas umständlich geregelt.

Helhetsupplevelsen är att hotellet försöker, men är tyvärr inte på en 5-stjärnig nivå. Delar som drar ned intrycket är slamrig frukost i ett rum utan utsikt. Även utbudet är slarvigt uppskuren. och presenterad. Finns även några bord utomhus bredvid en bergvägg.

Flertal hotellrum har utsikt mot en parkeringsplats, se till att undvika dessa. Begränsad utsikt från hotellets restauranger. Beach Club kostar orimligt mycket för en bättre solsäng som nu i lågsäsong. Även otrevligt bemött av personal när vi inte förstod vilka sängar som ingick och inte. Övriga solsängar som ingår i hotellrumspriset är starkt begränsade därmed svåra att få. fFå vill betala mellan 100-140 EUR för en

Servicen generellt behöver förbättras. Finns även möjligheter att förbättra design inne i hotellet. Som nu är konstläder och kristall.

Excelente opção para quem visita La Maddalena e está de carro. Um pouco afastado do centro. Estacionamento fácil e gratuito. Tem beach club e nas proximidades do hotel há diversos píers em que é possível organizar passeios de barco/Gommone sem precisar ir até o porto principal (muito mais movimentado e confuso). Quarto muito confortável e bom café da manhã.

Hôtel organise très bizarrement… la piscine est à l’arrière de l’accueil sans accès mer. Il faut sortir du complexe hôtelier pour accéder à la plage et au beach club, c’est pas très loin mais nous nous attendions à autre chose

Chambre Sea side view ou vous apercevez la mer en pointillés… vue sur le voisinage et une pelouse synthétique (voir photos - chambre double supérieure Sea side view). Nous avons remonté l’information mais sans suite. La plupart des chambres avec vue ne sont pas pour l’hôtel pour les appartements locatifs qui font partie du complexe hôtelier. Autre possibilité pour voir la mer depuis l’hôtel: rester devant l’ascenseur (voir autre photo), il aurait été plus logique de garder les vues pour les chambres, c’est décevant.

Matelas pas au niveau d’un 5 étoiles, Climatisation sans régulation donc énorme bruit de turbines toute la nuit

Bon séjour globalement, bel hôtel qui a un beau potentiel avec quelques petites modifications :
- mauvaise insonorisation, nous entendons tout ce qu’il se passe dans le couloir et les chambres attenantes
- service inégal avec des employés très sympathiques et d’autres qui ne disent même pas bonjour
- aucune aide avec les valises, le personnel vous regarde je n’ai jamais vu ça dans aucun hôtel
- aucun fer à repasser disponible. Idem première fois que l’on me dit ça dans un hôtel

Nydelig hotell på vakker øy

Helt klart et 5 stjerners hotell. Det var veldig rent og flott innredet. Det var service på rommet 2 ganger pr dag. Basseng området var helt nydelig. Frokosten var enestående og veldig hyggelig personale. Vi kommer helt sikkert til å reise tilbake hit. Belligenhet er et stykke unna byen og strender så jeg ville ikke vært foruten leiebil. Det er uansett veldig greit å ha for å komme seg til og fra flyplassen. Alt i alt har vi hatt en perfekt ferie og det er takket være nydelig service, fantastisk personale, flott hotell og en vakker øy som La Maddalena er.

Nothing to complain about the hotel. Very friendly, splendid service, very nice room, great breakfast. Easy to park the car in the garage or outside. The best was the soft sunbeds in the garden, nice cool pool and the Spa music in the speakers, just what I needed.
If it is anything that can be better would be an alternative to the fine dining restaurant, maybe ad nice pasta to the menue at Mama’s pizza?
I would also like alternative free sunbeds to the twinbeds for hire at Ma&Ma beach club.
I would love to come back to this hotel.

Rekommenderas varmt - fantastiskt ställe!

Fanstastiskt hotell med allt man kan önska för ordentlig avkoppling i solen! Vi hade halvpension med väldigt fräsch och god frukost, fick nygjord omelett och riktigt kaffe, nypressade juicer mm. Middagen var som en à al carte med nya val varje kväll. Duktig personal. Poolen var en av dom bästa vi sett, med icke-halt underlag och sittpartier som var perfekta för att läsa bok i poolen. Solbäddarna var utspridda så det gick att få sin \"egen vrå\". En kväll tog vi drinkarna på toppen med fantastisk utsikt. Finns oxå en beach club på gångavstånd. Sängarna var bekväma, ACn ganska tyst. Familjesviten hade två sovrum vilket var perfekt då vi reste med två tonåringar. Vi njöt oxå av att rummet hade en stor terrass med utsikt över havet. Perfekt för att torka blöta badkläder (fanns tvättställning med klädnypor). Vi kan varmt rekommendera det här hotellet. Inga problem att ta taxi in till Maddelena \"city\".

Very nice Hotel which is clean, has very Friendly and helpful Personal and also the Restaurants are really good.
The internal Restaurant is way too expensive compared to every other Restaurant you will find on the whole island! Thats why we recommend the Pizza Restaurant which is also more authentic.

One thing in the Hotel is a Bit Strange. All simple Jobs are done by black people. On the one Hand it’s good that they get employed there. On the other hand it feels a bit wrong.

Das Hotel für kurze Aufenthalte nicht schlecht, Service und Ausstattung lassen jedoch 5-Sterne-Standard vermissen. Keine Kaffeemaschine odfer Wasserkocher in den meisten Räumen, Frühstück ohne Abwechslung. Selbst als wiederholter Gast mit längerem Aufenthalt keine Wertschätzung.
