The person would not check you in. They have a machine that is not the most user friendly. It told me to scan my passport, and it kept saying scanning. Then a man came up on a screen and snapped you have to scan the other passport. That's not what the screen was saying and he snapped back just scan the other one.

What a pleasant surprise for a hotel in this price range. It offers more than what I expected and was clean, conveniently located right next to JR trains that will take you straight to HND in less than 20 minutes. I enjoyed it so much that I joined their free membership and got late check out for free. Definitely will come back again.

Whenever I go to Tokyo or Yokohana, I try to stay at this place. It is run by the JR Line (Japanese Train System) and so it is only steps away from the train entrance. Shinagawa, the main hub in Tokyo is 14 minutes away.
The area around the hotel has 2 department stores, film camera store, Zoff, the excelkent and low priced eye glass store, a number of nice (excellent quality) restaurants, and other amenitues.
Haneda airport (my much prefered airport, when compared to Narita) is only19 minutes away by train and costs only 3 US dollars.
I have been to Tokyo about 20 times. Before I found out about this place, i used to stay at the high end hotels in Tokyo, but now I prefer this hotel. It might not be for every one since Tsurami is not a particularoy exciting night life spot, but the key areas in Tokyo and Yokohama are only 15 to 20 minutes away.

Our last stay in the winter was great but this time in the rainy humid time the bathroom was very musty moldy smelling and no way to ventilate it so this time we were happy we were only staying one night. Rooms are very small but fine since we are spending time elsewhere. Good coffee in the lobby and front desk help very good and friendly. No gluten free options for breakfast at the adjoining cafes and stores don’t open until 9 so we had to eat food we brought until joining family later.

An excellent hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was large and comfortable. The hotel is ideally situated, close to the Keihin-Tohoku Sen and the Keikyu Sen. Lots and lots of shops and restaurants on the doorstep!

Hotel is located right next to the JR line train station. It takes about 10 minutes to downtown Yokohama or about 15 minutes to Shinagawa, in the center of Tokyo (and where you would catch the Yamanoto line. Haneda Airport is only 15 minutes away by one train (or two, depending the route you take). I needed to do something in the same town as the hotel, so for me it was perfect. The town itself has several all night stores and in the daytime, various department stores and other things, however the town is primarily a suburb ot Tokyo. If I need to do something in Tsurami or Kawasaki (which is about 4 minutes away by train), I would for sure stay here again.
