It was not the least expensive hotel; but the proximity from three Shin-Yokohama Stations and free drink bar in the lobby were the best features. I purchased breakfast which was expensive but gorgeous. Hotel staff was attentive and kind.

I stayed at Court Hotel in Shin-Yokohama for my business trip that required me to travel using bullet tains.
Location of the hotel is very convenient with plenty of meal options and convenience stores. Anyone could go inside the hotel using the elevators, but this is Japan, so I felt safe.
There were less tourists compared to Shinagawa and Shin-Osaka hotels where I stayed during the budiness trip.
It is an old building but the room.was very clean. Ceiling in the bathroom is very low so if you are very tall compared to average Japanese size, you would be uncomfortable.
Only disappointment I had was that the toilet's washlet nozzle was filthy and looked like it was never cleaned.
Coming from overseas, I often was hot during my stay in Japan at the end of October. Having A/C until it got cold ourside then it turned yo heating) and being able to open the window to air out were a plus!

Welcome to Japan, circa 1970. That’s about what it feels like. This place is really dingy and very dated, and obviously the slumlords that own it are investing as little money and effort in maintaining it as possible…I honestly can’t recommend staying here, at any price.

Perfect for my trip agenda. I tripped over a bollard (CAREFUL, they're VERY sneaky!) and the staff were very helpful and patched me up in minutes. Great location, plenty of stuff to see. Restaurants and bars are pretty cheap and nice enough. All in all, very good memories

The location is good and very quiet as it is about 3-5 minutes away from the busy parts of Shin- Yokohama, the main station. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable to sleep in but you can sense and especially smell from the moment you enter the establishment that it’s quite old. The reception/ lobby is impressively elegant and the staff are very courteous. Over- all I would rate my stay as satisfactory and the price reasonable.

I liked the room being spacious and the bed was comfortable. I did not like the room did not provide any tea spoon to make coffee/ tea. Also the room still uses the key and not card. Checking in was rigidly at 3:00pm. I arrived at 2:45pm and they just would not bother looking into my details and informed me the check in time was 3:00pm.

First, the have a 10am checkout policy I noticed even other that stayed there weren't aware of when they booked. Alongside the 10am checkout is a late check in time so they have hours as if they are a resort of some sort. The bathroom had such a strong sewage odor I avoided it at all cost and even was grossed out to shower in it. It also took awhile to find the light for it which is on the bedroom wall. The AC unit is not English friendly. The linens and beds and room outside that were clean but there are few people who would be able to overlook that smell. The front desk staff was very courteous and the positive aspect to the hotel. In addition to the 10am checkout they charge 1080 yen for an additional hour so 2160 yen if you want a standard checkout time. I would not bother booking here. There are other options that are cleaner and better overall. The website of the hotel claims to have a best rate guarantee which is not true and I didnt even feel like pressing the issue and just booked on hotels.com which was cheaper and simpler to use.
