The hotel was very close to night life and close to train station. However the room was very dusty and there were stains (blood and yellow discoloration) on the linen and when we showed the reception they confirmed it would be changed. It wasn’t. We could see the dust all over the shelves of the bed frames and the bathroom shelves. We stayed for 4 nights. Outside of housekeeping, the reception was great and helpful. Spoke a little English. Amenities onsite were good. Would’ve been a four rating if it was cleaner.

Great hotel

Beautiful room, very comfortable and clean. Service is wonderful and the location is perfectly placed in the middle of it all just down from Yokohama Station. Check-in was easy and I was in my room in less than 10 minutes after I walked through the door. Amenities are fabulous: they have everything you’d need besides your clothes. I’ll definitely be staying again when I’m back in Yokohama this summer.

This might have been the most satisfactory hotel on our trip. The room was still Japan-small but at least large enough to open a suitcase, the A/C worked extremely well, and it was quiet. It's an easy walk from the station and there's lots of eating/shopping nearby.

A business hotel about 5 mins away from one of the Yokohama Station exits. Interestingly you enter and take the elevator up to the lobby. We got a three twin bed room for a family of four, including two children ages 7 and 5. Even being a typical Japanese business room we felt it was a nice size. The bathroom area is separate and includes a traditional Japanese bath of a sit down wash and tub combo and toilet being in a separate room. Nice amenities including tea, coffee, and hygiene items. There were washing machines in case you need to do them with statuses you can check from the TV. A discounted breakfast brunch at the restaurant next door, including a cheaper rate for children was nice. And lots of options to eat in the area and shop too being close to a major train station. All in all, a great place that I would recommend if you want to stay near the station.

This property was conveniently located next to the Yokohama train station and several malls. There were many places to eat nearby and easily accessible.
Our hotel room was very clean and tidy. The room was a little small and sometimes difficult to maneuver around with our luggage, but it was manageable.

First off, I would definitely recommend this hotel. The hotel was built in 2018, but it definitely seemed to be a fairly new hotel. It was well kept to say the least.

The room size was great for 2 adults and 1 kid. It has a large bathroom, which is easier with the kid. It is somewhat near the Yokohama station. It took a little explore to walk from the station as there was some road work around the area that we hesitate to cross with the luggage. After that, we can find everything nearby easily.


We felt very welcomed when we checked-in. There was even a little pack of kids vanity including kid slippers, brush, and etc. Lot of local restaurant, grocery store, and other amenities nearby. They even offered umbrella for free for the rainiest day. It was an excellent stay.

The Richmond Hotel is so conveniently located close to the Yokohama Station. The staff were so kind, and the check-in, check-out process were very easy and fast. I would definitely stay here again.
