Everything is walkable from this hotel. Close to the train & subway, the mall, exhibition center & the waterfront. It's very clean and the staff is great. Most speak English & were very helpful. IDK if it's unique but if you were on the 11-14th floor there was a free refreshment room with snacks, water, beer, seltzers and drinks which was pretty nice. The breakfast was very good and diverse so its worth it BUT there are so many places to eat very close by. Chinatown and the baseball stadium is 15-20 minute walk as well. I was on the 13th floor w/ a view but as with most hotel rooms in Japan its very small. I'm 6'3\" and had a big carry-on and big backpack and I used the other twin bed for storage the entire time and really only had a small chair and table to use other than my bed. Just be aware the twins are smaller and I barely fit but the bed was comfortable so it worked out. I highly reccommend and will definitely be staying here next time.

This hotel was super convenient to the Sakuragicho and Hinodecho stations.

It was clean and had nice complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby. It is a great place if you are visiting Yokohmama for a few days.

Just an FYI, you can hear the train from your room.

Loved the hotel except for the bathroom. Very high step to enter bathroom then an extremely high and deep bathtub with NO safety rails.
Tub so deep 3 of 4 people in the booking could not shower the one night we stayed. We had requested walk in showers in both rooms at time of booking. Also hotel did not have a bar only a coffee lounge which was very good.

Hotel room and staff was excellent. But if your room is facing train track you might not be able to sleep well even though hotel provide complimentary ear plug. Expedia website also did not update on the train track noise when I confirm my booking. Overall staff service was excellent. Buffet breakfast variety was good except 2 issue, baked fish slice have lot of bones and singapore laksa taste non authentic. Better to get singapore ready make laksa sauce pack to create actual taste of singapore laksa.

Really great stay. The room was clean and surprisingly spacious for Japan, maybe the advantage of being in Yokohama rather than Tokyo. I did not try the breakfast, but as a simple and comfortable place to crash for the night it was perfect. The area felt fairly quiet the evening I was there, though I may not have explored enough to find more nightlife. Overall a very good experience and great value.

I made a booking on Expedia and paid for it prior to arriving to the hotel. As service is usually very good in Japan, I expected it to be a decent service.

Upon arrival, this non-japanese lady staff checking me in, doesn't thoroughly check the bookings and tells me I don't have a booking. I freaked out because no booking means I will have to look for a place to crash for the night if I don't have this place booked. After insisting her to look thoroughly, she did find my booking. It ended up this lady didn't thoroughly check and spoke too soon. She doesn't apologize for that at all and blames that it was my fault for not having confirmation #. She should not have told me I don't have a booking but rather ask me to hold while she looks for it. It caused me Great anxiety.

I complained to her that she freaked me out for no reason. She was not apologetic at all. I was upset and didn't sit right all day so I waited till next morning and complained to a manager. He apologized for such an incident and said he will have the staff train on the matter. But when I passed by the same lady, she just gave me a snotty look!!!

This hotel is not Japanese owned but rather foreign company. It reflects to the level of service provided. If you expect decent service that you get in Japan , I suggest you go somewhere else. I am not staying here again!!!

Good place to Stay

Front desk staff and the manager were very attentive and friendly. If you need to run a few errands after checking out, they have a good system for storing your luggage the day of your departure. This was a convenient service.

The room was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. However, the only thing that made me uncomfortable was the noise from the trains. The train tracks are right next to the hotel, and it gets noisy whenever a train passes by.

Wonderful Staff. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Short walk from Sakuragicho Station.
Area is very walkable. Loved our stay and would happily stay again.

We arrived into Haneda at 7am and were able to drop our luggage at the hotel for storage once we arrived. Due to jetlag, lack of sleep and heat we weren't feeling great. The hotel allowed us for a much needed early check in which we were massively grateful.

Upon leaving, the concierge helped us print off train tickets and ordered a taxi. We would love to stay there again if or when we're back in Yokohama..

First time to stay in non-international known brand hotel and am impressed with its eco-friendly and cleaningness. Hotel room is compact but comfortable. Despite its adjacent to heavy traffic railway, it is amazingly quiet.

Liked the hotel and staff but not the train noise.

The hotel was nice except for the noise from the train tracks. The staff was nice and accomodating and they provided free refreshments such as coffee, tea, water and juice. All the toiletries were available in the lobby for you to take back to your room. Good location that was a easy walk to train station, restaurants and malls.

We chose this Hotel in Yokohama as it had good reviews and was close to the port for our cruise. The Far East Village Hotel did not disappoint, the Reception staff were always welcoming and very helpful. We hadn’t realised how small Japanese hotel rooms can be but it was very clean, the bed comfortable and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was good with both hot and cold choices. The hotel was walking distance to some lively evening views and plenty of restaurants.

Amazing stay between cruises. The staff were very helpful especially Jake, while waiting in the lobby for our room to get ready he was very helpful to all the customers and always had a smile on his face. Needed to do laundry and again Jake facilitated this for us. We didn’t use the restaurant, so can’t evaluate that. The beds were sooooo comfortable. Very close to transport system and a lot of food options. Would highly recommend!

We loved the hotel and the area. Convenient with at least 3 stations nearby, restos and conbinis around. Walkable to World Porters, Nissin Museum, Chinatown, and many more. The hotel is also spotless with amenities available in the lobby. The complimentary drinks and snacks are also a plus!

築浅で部屋が綺麗で良かったです。ただエアコン切った後しばらく音がうるさくて気になりました。フィルターの掃除もした方が良いと思います。朝食を食べている時に食事が終わった外国人のおしゃべりがうるさくてくつろげなかった。日本人も泊まるのでお部屋に紅茶だけでなく緑茶もあるとうれしいです。

22時くらいでしたが、ホテル側のミスなのか
同じ苗字の方がいて部屋が逆になっていた？などフロントの方は小声で言ってました。間違えてしまったならそのように説明してくれたらいいと思います。説明がないまま、待たされて普通ならもう泊まらないですね。
⭐︎が2な理由は、お部屋BRはきれいでしたがUBに髪が落ちていたりとあまり掃除が行き届いてる感じしませんでした。
