Can not complain about the price! It near the Kannai train station and about 15minute walk to Osambashi International Terminal for us to catch the Princess Cruise ship. Good restaurants nearby. Hotel is clean, spacious for the 2 of us, and feels safe. Would come back again

The cleanlieness was not the best we booked a double room got a single bed, too tired to care as we were only staying 1 night, the room had dirty towels with makeup on 2 of them, urine stains and some small mold spot on the shower and floor and the gross part was seeing a left over used foot gel pad on the window shelf. The bed wasnt the best if looking for comfort the pillows were thin and rock hard and its only 1 per a person. The other issues with the room, was the heater it was on max for the building and we could not lower it to be cooler. As it made it uncomfortable as we like the room cooler than hot, even with the window open it made it difficult to cool the room as the blinds position made it so either we expose the whole room to the next building over or sleep with the window open and limited fresh air because the blinds wouldnt open up allowing the airflow properly. I ended up getting sick from the food at breakfast, overall this place would be a no go next time.

Everything was great. The only negative was because of my confusion with the international date line, we arrived a day late. Because the language difference, I was unable to discuss whether I could receive a partial refund for the for the day we missed.

…was the ABSOLUTE BEST. Fresh rice, two types of soups, fresh pastries, perfect Japanese runny scrambled eggs, sausages, themed protein-veggie dish, cereal/yogurt, fruit, salad, fresh juices, and the freshest espresso-machine coffee. Everything comes out in small batches but is constantly being replenished so nothing ever sits out for too long.
You could go heavy, light, or even grab n go with provided boxes! Totally worth it.

10/5 Service - everyone was very helpful, patient, and friendly. Some spoke English and most understood it enough go communicate. Signs with images are every helpful for communicating needs and services.

I’m a side sleeper so the matress was on the firmer side for me and I needed 2-3 of their pillows to feel somewhat supported. You can easily ask at the front desk…try the leg pillow too!

suggestion: if possible, create more ventilation in the bathrooms…my thin clothing took a long time to air dry due to the dampness. I eventually had to hang them outside the dresser closet doors.

Great stay with yummy breakfast.

Helpful and kind staff. It rained during our stay and the hotel lent us all umbrellas. They also stored our bags before check-in and after check out. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast was delicious and beds very comfortable.

This hotel is very dated and very small. You can barely get into the bathroom and it’s a step up. Only given 1 pillow per bed when they knew there were 3 people. Heat was on for a day that was 25 degrees so it was pretty warm. Only 2 very small elevators and they get very busy. Breakfast was okay though it was very busy.

The bathroom was covered in mould. My daughters wanted to have a bath but the mould was so bad, we couldnt let them be in there for any longer than they absolutely had to be.

The free breakfast was good, but does not make up for the severe lack of cleanliness this bathroom desperately needed.

What is interesting is that the hotel is somewhat cramped but well positioned which is I expect its appeal. However, it is quite old and I had the benefit to also visit the Kyoto Hotel (in Horikawagojo) which was newer and more roomy all round. I found the breakfast time qui9te a strain to be honest and the food was limited. Also the tv was positioned such that it would have been hard to watch.

Close to all amenities and attractions. Complimentary breakfast is substantial to start a busy and energetic day around Yokohama. Everything we wanted to see is walkable, no need to use the bus or trains/metro! Thanks to eh staff oc Comfort Hotel, we shall be back next time for sure!

A very small room with nowhere to place luggage.
More like a Business mans hotel?
Double bed was hard against the outside wall so had to climb over to get in the other side.
Breakfast was not suitable to Western Guests as too much Japanese orientated.
Location was good.
Would not stay there again.

Convenient place to stay

The hotel was very conveniently situated to all the main ares of Yokohama. The breakfast was plentiful but Japanese orientated of course. The bed was too hard for my liking but the twin beds were larger than the normal size. There was always hot water.
The main line railway and subway were close and there were several restaurants and convenience stores just round the corner. The self serve laundry was a bonus after having been on a cruise ship for 15 days!

Nice hotel in a prime area. The front desk staff are too nice. Complementary breakfast is excellent. The free coffee and lime water are value addition. Overall my 9 day stay was a great joyful moment. I would recommend this hotel for those who are visiting Yokohama for business and fun.

The hotel is located in a relatively quiet part of town. Subway stations are not far away, there are 2 lines within a 5-minute walk from the hotel. There is a convenience store right next to it to take care of your takeaway food and drinks.
The room was quite small, in line with other Japanese hotels we stayed in. Once you open a couple of suitcases on the floor it is difficult to walk around in the room.
The air conditioning blows the air right on the bed, making it too cold so we turned it off.
Breakfast had a reasonable selection of dishes. It was quite busy when we were there but that might have been their peak hour. You can also get free coffee using a coffee maker until midnight.
Wi-Fi coverage was good in the room and the dining room. There is a coin-operated machine machine and drier which we used once during our stay.
Overall not a bad place to stay when in Yokohama.

The location is 3~5 mins walk from JR Kannai station, quite a few convenience store around. Breakfast quite standard. Staff is polite and friendly. Only down side is the pillow, doesn’t support a good sleeping posture. Overall, 4/5 stars for this hotel.

It was a very present stays. Location is very good. Everything is close. Railways, sub-train station is a few minutes walking distance. A few blocks to China Town. We even walked to Ohsanbashi cruiseship terminal to catch Diamond Princess( from yokohama-Okinawa-Taiwan-back to Yokohama}. Toilet is not only clean but also wash your body. Every day they provide clean night wear. It was very quiet. Hardly heard any loud noises. It was worthy to fly to Haneda airport fromSan Francisco to catch cruiseship and stayed Yokohama port area.

Until We Meet Again, Comfort Hotel.

The best thing about the stay there was that the hotel was said to be a business hotel but we were pleasantly surprised to discover that families of all brackets and numbers do stay there! The staff were polite and genuinely accommodating; not obliging us to pay for checking in early and making sure that all of my requests were taken into consideration, i.e.., rooms beside one another with a nice view. To top it all, we even had a little present with their upgrading one room because one of the rooms I booked would be at another floor away, so to make sure the rooms we were just beside one another, they gave us one upgraded room. It was comfortable moving about and checking on your grown-up kids just beside your room. Staying at the hotel was well worth the setback. Value for money, especially if you're traveling in big numbers.However, I'd be glad that for our next stay, I'd feel and smell some really nice cleaner shower curtains, sweet smelling pillows and comforters. Sprayed rooms and all would be great too. We'd be more than glad to see you again.

The hotel is not handicap ready. One had to take a big step up to the bathroom. The tub was another high step to get to take a shower. My wife had problems getting to the bathroom. The breakfast was very good. Good variety. They have two enemies and rotate every other day.

Double type room - tight for two people

After a long flight from London UK all you want is a room to rest in but with luggage in the room too it was a tight fit for two people.
Friendly staff happy to keep our bags for us as we arrived early and the room wasn't ready but this gave us time to check out the local area.

Right in the heart of Yokohama

Easy access to Kannai Station and Chinatown. Excellent spread for breakfast and free wifi. Staff were ready to help with suggestion of using the direct coach service to Haneda International airport from YCAT at Yokohama Station, rather than changing trains. It was very smooth, hassle-free and convenient ride (about 35 mins).

Great price and decent sized room

The Comfort Hotel was very nice and convenient for getting to the train station and walking to China Town as well as the baseball stadium. There were plenty of places within walking distance to eat and grab drinks even late into the night. Room was in good condition and easily fit 2 queen sized beds and a desk.
