As expected from Sotetsu hotels, the housekeeping is solid, the staff is super friendly and extremely accommodating. What is especially outstanding about this particular hotel, Sotetsu Fresa Sakuragicho is its location. Despite its name, it's right in front of the Bashamichi station in Yokohama. This is more than perfect. Everything is within walking distance. A fifteen minute radius by foot includes Minatomirai, Sakuragicho, Chinatown, Nihon Odori, Yamashita Park, Noge, Red Brick Warehouse/Akarenga etc. I had the perfect stay.

Nice hotel, with the access the Metro station at the front door. Make sure you choose the right room when booking as there's a choice between smoking and non smoking. Otherwise the room was very clean and tidy. Staff are all very attentive and friendly. Breakfast is good.

It's just 10mins walking to Minato Mirai area. There are a lot of shopping and restaurants. Also to get the nearest train station is just one min.I'd use this hotel again when I come back to Japan!

Nice quiet hotel in a great location near the port. There is an entrance to the local subway line right in front of the hotel, so it is very convenient for transportation. It is also within close walking distance to all the waterfront parks and several shopping areas. All the staff were very kind and friendly, and everything was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a very good basic hotel. The staffers don't speak much English, but with the automated terminal checking in/out wasn't a problem. As far as the hotel condition goes, it could overall use some updatting but otherwise it's clean and comfortable. Breakfast is basic, but for my needs it was plenty and it was a great start on my day. The location is great, near the waterfront, two train stations and Yokohama City Hall is right down the street. No problems; if you don't need fancy and don't want to spend a lot of money then all things considered this hotel is perfect.

This was my second time staying here for work due to it's great location for Minato Mirai and the rest of the bay area, a super short walk from Bashamichi station on the Blue line.

The room was spacious and very clean, and the staff were great.

I've stayed in other hotels around Sakuragicho and this hotel is my preferred pick due to how quiet it is compared with the others.

The first room i got was terrible. Air conditioner was dripping water on the bed and room smelled very old and funky. Thankfully the staff changed my room after the complaint.
The second room was great. Nothing to complain about.
Room was spacious and you are in a walkable distance to all the famous attractions in yokohama.
Would have given 5 star if it wasnt for first room i got.

It’s good subway is actually outside of building . It’s too bad the staff doesn’t go out of the way to inform the client the family mart , 7/11 around the corner . Extremely sad they don’t tell you there’s a supermarket across the street , brick n white? Coffee shop , pizza place etc right across the street .
Building is on older side that could use renovation. The bed is extremely hard, actually sleeping on a box spring.
We have a double bed room , extremely hard for my husband or myself to climb in n out because bed is smack against the wall. When I asked if they have another room for us to change for easier access . They charge the difference. It’s not much , but I feel that it’s on the petty side.
The ONLY ACCESS/ their pride would be having a worker like UCHIDA. She went out beyond her duty to print out a map / instruction on transportation for our inquiry. Excellent service .

・立地が最高。地下鉄出口出たらそこにある。
・周囲に飲食店はないがコンビニが数件あるので困らない
・アメニティバーに備えてあるもののが種類豊富でとても良い。フェイスパックまであったのは驚いた。
・水回りがそこはかとなく臭う。
・浴室の蛇口周りの清掃が甘い。黒カビと水垢は掃除で何とかなるレベルなので、定期的に対応したほうがよい。

Very nice hotel in convenient location

Very friendly staff. Room is clean and breakfast is delicious. Location is excellent,
right on top of a subway station exit. Convenient stores and restaurants are easy to reach. Landmarks such as red brick warehouse and china town are easy to reach. Definitely will stay here again if in Yokohama.

The location is very convenient as it is very closed to bashamachi station. The TV has laundry status so that I can check if there are washer/dryer available, or how much time the wash/dry has taken place so that I can go pick up my laundry at the right time.

Staying at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Sakuraguchiko was a breeze due to its proximity to key tourist spots and the subway, making exploration effortless. The nearby Bashamichi Station, speedy check-in/out, and warm hospitality from the staff made for a pleasant stay. Plus, the hotel's laundry service and reasonably priced breakfast at 1,100 yen were convenient perks.

However, the aging mattress was a bit of a letdown as it caused discomfort, with noticeable springs, impacting the comfort over the 14-night stay. Yet, the room's view and easy access to amenities like Tully’s in the subway and a nearby grocery store were great for quick bites and snacks.

Despite the mattress issue, Sotetsu Fresa Inn Sakuraguchiko's prime location and nearby conveniences make it a solid choice. Improving the bedding and mattress would elevate the stay, but the hotel's convenience and proximity to attractions make it an appealing option for future visits.

The staff was great. The rooms were small but well set up. However, check in is on the second floor with a very small lobby area which became very crowded. We booked this property pre-cruise. We were able to ship our luggage ahead of time. It was there with no issues. The location was great; a 10 minute walk to the port and lots of restaurant options.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Yokohama. The train stop is right in front, so convenient. It’s walking distance from the carnival and from the cup of noodle museum and shops. I loved how the AC was amazing. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. It’s a local hotel, not much tourism so I loved it. The price I paid, was a steal.

Just minutes away subway Minatomirai line (metro)exit #3 and breakfast is optional but if you are going to easy pajamas morning that you can have the buffet ( little Japanese style for menu) that was wonderful also everything very close by you can go to cafe to get coffee and sandwich. The room is very spacious compared other modern hotels I would say. I started twin beds plus sleeping sofa and bay view that was great.

Great hotel

We stayed in two different rooms at this hotel. The first room was rather small, but the second room #704 was very spacious with nice views. The room has a separate bathroom and toilet as well. We stayed in this room for five nights and it was very comfortable. The staff was very nice, especially the restaurant staff who greeted us every morning was super polite and friendly. The location is great and right in the middle of the touristy area.
