Help desk lady jerked me around to check in 2 times and charged me even before check in. After checked in so found the heater leaks thus floor was wet plus the refrigerator can never be closed and toilet leaked too.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The room was absolutely nasty. There were crumbs in the bed and on the floor, which immediately showed that the room had not been properly cleaned. The bathroom was filthy and even had women’s fake eyelashes left on the floor completely unacceptable and unsanitary. To make matters worse, the staff, especially at the front desk, were extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of addressing the issues or offering a solution, they were dismissive and acted as if my concerns were an inconvenience. There was no apology, no urgency, and no effort to fix the situation.

Rented one night for me and my 5 year old son. The heat in my house was down due to a damaged pump so the house was freezing. Me and my son got the room and it was one of the best nights of our lives. We will definitely be making this a regular thing. Merrirrdm

An absurd and extremely frustrating experience. My flight was officially canceled due to a major snowstorm in New York, a clear force majeure situation beyond my control. Even so, I attempted to cancel the reservation well in advance, called multiple times, and was never answered. The hotel showed no interest in contacting me, understanding the situation, or offering any solution. Instead, they charged 100% of the cost for a stay that never happened. This is negligence, lack of ethics, and complete disrespect toward the customer. If they do not contact me to resolve this issue and issue a refund, I will pursue my rights through the appropriate consumer protection channels. I do not recommend this hotel under any circumstances.

Double charged at different rates, very disappointing

I had a very frustrating experience with this hotel. I was charged twice for the exact same room, and to make matters worse, the two charges were at different rates.

There was no clear explanation, no prior notice, and resolving it has taken far more time and effort than it should. This is basic billing accuracy, and it was completely mishandled.

When you’re travelling, the last thing you want is to discover unexpected charges and then have to chase them down after checkout. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in this hotel.

I would strongly recommend checking your final bill very carefully if you stay here. I won’t be returning.

1. Booked and paid a room for 3, but the room was not set for 3. Only 2 sets of towels and cups provided as usual. Called for more towels, accepted but not delivered. I personally needed to go to front desk to ask for it.
2. Safe was broken and not lockable
3. TV keeps flashing up with setup screen, still watchable though
4. Can't charge any electronic devices at bedside table, because all power connections were originally unplugged as we checked in
5. faucet at restroom sink was loosen, so we need to use 2 hands to open/close the faucet

I was at APA hotel last night. The phone didn’t work the entire time. Every time I needed something I had to walk down to the front desk. I told the receptionist but they didn’t do anything about it. I woke up the next morning and it still wasn’t working. I was also shocked that the room didn’t have a single water bottle, let alone a complimentary bottle there wasn’t even one I could pay for. It was very disappointing that I had walk down again at 2 AM to get water from the front desk. The next morning there was a leak in my bathroom and the entire bathroom floor was wet. I was highly disappointed.

Disappointing check-in experience after a very long travel day. I arrived at the same time as another guest who was immediately checked in, while I was told I had to return later and pay a fee. When I questioned the inconsistency, the response was rude. I was also not offered luggage storage, which made waiting in an unfamiliar city inconvenient.

My room was located next to the elevators and laundry area, and the room keys didn’t work, requiring additional effort after hauling multiple bags. The only bright spot was a helpful housekeeping staff member. The hotel restaurant was not open to guests due to a private party of only 25 people, which was surprising and inconvenient.

Lastly, a police presence of approximately 10 cars directly below my window, with commands being yelled over a PA system, was extremely disruptive to my sleep. Overall, I expected a more consistent and guest-focused experience.

Advertised as a restaurant that has full breakfast even with picture of such. Didn’t want to leave the property to eat was only there for a short stay. No room service and the breakfast place was pre made. Pre packaged breakfast sandwiches or yogurt and muffins. No such restaurant or sit down options. Room service would be a nice option. But hotel was very clean. And ultimately that’s most important. Staff friendly and helpful. Quiet and comfortable.

Terrible across the board - 30 min to check in; we ordered two rooms with two queen beds in each and instead we received two “king” beds except neither bed was actually a king. These rooms had a queen size mattress on a king size cot. Utterly bizarre. It felt like a larger scale cot bed - thin mattress. The ramen machine was broken; the coffee in the restaurant was disgustingly and stale; the coffee shop was accepting only cash because its machine was down. We checked out a day early.

After driving five hours after work to get to New Jersey, I checked in at 2 AM and got to sleep close to 3 AM. I was given room 724. Before 7 AM I was jolted awake (I sleep with earplugs at hotels) by a very loud repetitive mechanical sound. This continued for the rest of the morning, and I wasn’t able to get back to sleep. I called the front desk and was told they would have their engineers look into it. I filed a complaint at checkout, and was told they could give me a 30% discount, but that they would notify Hotels.com and I would have to get the refund from them, since I didn’t book directly. I proceeded with the process to get the refund and Hotels.com is telling me that the hotel has no record of my complaint at all. I have a video of the sound which I’ve submitted and which I showed the woman at check out.

I believe the sound was something related to housekeeping, and it seems impossible that the hotel is unaware of it, or that they should be giving that room to anyone checking in at 2 AM.

Hotels.com tells me that they attempted to contact the hotel several times and there is no record that I complained. The woman at the front desk appeared to be typing a message into her computer when she told me she was, but maybe that was a lie? I would never stay at this hotel again. I was in town on business and got no sleep. When I called the front desk they were dismissive and rude. The woman checking me out was understanding and kind, but apparently never followed through.
