Ms Kubo from Housekeeping does an excellent job. We left her some chocolates to thank her for taking care of our room. She in return, left us a box of beautiful bath roses from the Sheraton. This gift of thoughtfulness made our stay at the Sheraton most memorable as her kindness was a happy surprise. We will always think fondly of the Sheraton Yokohama Bay.
The front desk staff and concierge were also very helpful and efficient when we departed from the hotel.

I believe this property fundamentally is NOT tourist focused, and definitely would not be to standards fit for a family vacation. Staff was attentive, courteous and exude Japanese values. However, the Sheraton in and of itself is business oriented and driven. The lay out itself should have been red flags, multiple restaurants, businesses, weddings venues etc. proliferate the entire hotel and are obviously its priority. Please review other negative reviews of this property as they are all true and you have been warned. From the very start, I was Absolutely disappointed with hotel policy of not accommodating an early check-in or at the very least service guest with options. Caught a red eye flight-in, up for for more than 24hrs only to be told at the front desk that they could not accommodate anything until 3pm and to come back then. Tired and exhausted, no place to wait, we were forced into the corner of the lobby to wait for over 5 hours. I’ve never been treated or made to feel like a homeless person in my life. With so many other hotels to choose from, your money would be well spent not at the Sheraton. Will NOT be giving this company any future business.

Came Back Again, Sustains Beyond Expectations

This is probably my most favorite hotel in Yokohama Vicinity. Lounge Access and amazing Kanagawa signature dishes on breakfast menu are superb, and the room that I booked had beyond everything I wanted. The fact that this hotel links to station is great that I didn't need a cab to get there. Definitely, I will book here again.

The room was not as large as we expected. I went to talk with the Club receptionists (Mana and Masahiro) who courteously help to find suites available to upgrade. Final we enjoyed the 2 suites which were excellent. Thanks to them, our stay turned from mediocre to marvelous overnight. One thing this hotel should do is to upgrade their tv to smart tv. Currently no streaming/casting/YouTube/etc. Breakfast at the Club was fine but on 2nd floor was amazing. This hotel is centralized, smack in the middle of shopping areas & train station. It’s a perfect pied-à-terre in Yokohama!

Only stayed for one night, before taking the YCAT to Haneda. Hotel was very convenient to last-minute shopping before returning to USA. It was raining but there was all covered walkways from Yokohama station to the hotel, to shopping, and to the YCAT office and terminal. Breakfast was expansive, with made-to-order dishes, dim sum and excellent pastries. Expensive but not a lot more than other places that are not nearly as convenient to transportation.

From check in to check out, the staff was amazing and the process was easy.

The room was clean and they’re participating in a green initiative: if you skip housekeeping for a day, they issue you a 500¥ coupon for their bakery. I did that and the baked goods were fantastic.

The hotel is connected underground to Yokohama station, so it’s easy to travel to other areas as a tourist. From street level, it’s a quick walk across the street via a crosswalk.

Highly recommended hotel for any special occasion

I invited my sister to spend year-end to New Year’s celebration with me in Yokohama. We were lucky to be able to find accommodation for this last-minute decision. The location was very convenient for all sorts of entertainment and the hotel staff made our stay extra comfortable.

This hotel is located directly across from the Yokohama train station with quick access via elevator and underground hallways. There are multiple restaurant options, and we tried two - breakfast in the morning on the second floor and cocktails and snacks on the top floor with a piano player and a beautiful view of the city. The staff was wonderful, the room was clean, quiet and cozy.

I had wait for a long time to check-in, the first in the lobby area which if you sit at the chair you had to order something. I order a lemon soda and it's cost 1400 yen. Then I was took to 26th floor, Shelton Club check-in area, and told I can get some snack & drink. I was wondering why I couldn't be here, since I reserved The Shelton club room. The floor in the room has some uneven level under the carpet, and I almost tripped over a few times. I'm old and needed nice smooth floor. The place is not good as the onsen ryokan in Echigo Yuzawa, but it cost much high price. I stayed at Shelton a few times at other area, and this is the worst place. Staffs are not really good, maybe because it in Yokohama. I don't think I'll go back there, and find other hotel when I visit Yokohama in future.

The property is situated in an exceptionally convenient location, adjacent to Yokohama Station. The daily breakfast buffet is outstanding. It should be noted that access to the pool involves a daily surcharge which, unfortunately, also comes with time/availability constraints.

We finished our Cruiseline trip and stayed at Sheraton Bay Hotel for 1 night .Room is clean and space with two separate wash sink, located near Yokohama Train Station, love it ! Definitely , next time , will arrange longer stays at this Sheraton Hotel.

We had a great experience with this hotel. Some of our highlights:
- Breakfast was amazing. Lots of options to choose from. Food was very fresh. We loved the fresh orange juice and made-to-order omelets.
- Receiving 500 yen voucher for each day we opt out of cleaning service. We were able to use the vouchers on desserts at the hotel’s bakery on the last day of our stay.
- Very close to Yokohama Station.
- Very close to major shopping centers and dining options
- Our room had a great view

The room was a little smaller than other hotels we were used to, but it is considered big for hotels in Japan.

Overall, we would definitely book again for future visits!

The great difficulty and biggest problem is when arriving from the airport to YCAT bus terminal, one would have to lug your heavy luggage through the building, up and down several steep stairways and escalators, for at least 15 minutes, before arrival at your hotel. This is exhausting and very dangerous as one may fall. Changes have to be made. Thank you.

The rooms here are US hotel-sized, quite unusual for Japan. Anyway, was here for a conference, and found the hotel to be quite excellent. The breakfast was good, the room very nice (was on a \"club\" floor but not so much that I could get free drinks at the club), the lobby impressive, and the room priced acceptably. Right across the street from the Yokohama main train station and a hundred restaurants, convenience shops, and the like.

I had great room value that came with lounge access that offers savory meals and beverages and amazing breakfast buffet. My room was very spacious with beautiful view of Yokohama, and the value was beyond my expectations because if you book mediocre motel in SF, the price was equivalent to that when i booked here.

The place to stay at Yokohama Station. Many train lines are literally minutes away. I had site visits all around Kanto and Kanagawa for 3 days and managed it from here. It was only possible from this location. Pool is a little small. Don’t expect a big pool but it was adequate.

It was good location right across Yokohama station, connected via underground passageway. Very big rooms in Japan standards. Only issue will be the choice of shower gel and shampoo, the scent may not be everyone's favourite.

They did not recognize my gold Marriott Bonboy member status unless you book through their website. The staff at login reluctantly added the number but told me not to expect any gold privileges. Unfortunately the pool is only for gold members or above, which they don’t tell you until you show up at the pool. The cleaning crew was excellent and did a fabulous job every day. The rooms were dated and there were not enough plugs nor any USB ports to charge our phones and laptops. Very convenient location to shops and restaurants in the mall downstairs. Train station was about 5 mins walk. We decided to move to shin-Yokohama, which was more convenient to Shinkansen and half the price.

Like that hotel is very close to station. Don’t like that we had to wait for 90 minutes for them to clean out a similar room and it’s not exactly what we had booked. Of all the prior hotels we stayed in Japan, checked in went smoothly and without a hitch with all of them except this hotel. Another thing is there was banging sound although it stopped before 10 or 11pm. It sounds like someone is fixing pipe or something. Annoying! Don’t know if I want to book this hotel again.

Check-in was quick and easy, lobby looks classy. The room is clean with an air purifyer and a very comfortable bed.

1. Charges of Yen 2100 for Swimming Pool, Gym and other for each time of use. Absurd, no other hotel charges
2. Same breakfast everyday and really limited options. Even the fruits also same for all 11 days watermelon, pineapple and sugar soaked Lychee... seriously
3. No bathrobes, iron and iron table
4. No shoe cleaning items
5. Rooms are really small as compared to competition

Unfortunately had to book because of office but certainly not in the next trip which is due next month

Great but nickel and dime to death

Great spot central to everything, cozy bed. I thought the cover charge to even go in the bar was an insult and charging to use the gym (with no notice anywhere) was crazy. Even as an elite member of SPG. Definitely will consider somewhere else next time despite the nice room.

The hotel is quite old because I can smell the odor at the elevator landing of guest room floor. The carpet in the room is dirty and gets big stain. The front desk staff are rude and not helpful. The only good thing was the housekeeping staff were nice to work according to my request.

1 night stay at this hotel on Club Lounge floor for the first time. Excellent, convenient location to Yokohama station and shopping / dining. Parking available for o/n guests. Wonderful staff, very helpful. Our room was spacious, with separate shower stall & bath tub plus separate vanity area, sofa by window. Quiet, v nice decor. Highly recommend. Breakfast buffet was delicious, nice variety. Will be coming to stay again with my family.
