The hotel was next to Yokohama train station which made it very convenient to travel to and from. We did have trouble finding the correct exit on the first day. Look for the North Exit and from there, look for the North East exit A. There are escalators & elevators near North East exit A so don't worry if you have luggage. The entrance to the hotel faces the train tracks.

We stayed in the deluxe twin room which faced the train tracks. We could hear the trains running but we were so tired it didn't bother us. The trains started running in the morning around 5:30am.

We enjoyed the wide single beds and sofa. I appreciated the pocket doors to the toilet and the one that separates the washroom from the bedroom. Having a separate wash room from the toilet was helpful.

We didn't purchase the breakfast plan so I can't comment on their breakfast. Besides Beck's coffee shop being in the lobby, there is also a Family Mart in the lobby. In the next building there is a Pronto coffee shop.

Staff were patient, helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel. They even provide ear plugs!

Hotel is 120 m walk from Yokohama station northeast exit.

We stayed in connecting rooms on the third floor on the train track side. The rooms were typical for a Japanese business hotel, but adequate for a short stay. We never heard any noise from above, below, or from neighbors, though I'm unsure how full the hotel was. We saw and heard the multiple trains coming and going, which our little one enjoyed, but maybe not if the noise bothers you. We hardly heard car traffic from inside the room.

They had coin operated washer/dryer combo on the 2nd and 6th floor. The machine didn't dry very well and an extra dry cycle was necessary.

Beds were not hard or soft, just right. There were plenty of outlets around the beds. AC worked well in relatively warm days in November. Fridge was the typical tiny hotel fridge. CAT5 was available. I didn't use the WiFi.

The staff was kind and supportive. Looks like they spoke multiple languages.

Closest 24/7 convenience store is adjacent to the hotel, with a doorway from the lobby leading into the store, 6:30a-9p Beck's Coffee also adjacent to the hotel with another doorway from the lobby leading into the shop, with numerous restaurants within walking distance. Hotel provides no parking. There are some paid parking lots nearby.

Overall a good place to stay, convenient location with easy access from the Yokohama bus terminal ( YCAT - for bus from Narita directly) about 8minutes walk , and 2 minutes for JR Yokohama station and Yokohama city metro station and Minatomirai line to the shoreline parks ( Ferris wheels, Chinatown).

The place is clean with good service staff, cafe shop on the first and a Family Mart .

Only complaint - the hotel is right next to train tracks so every morning between 6-9:39 you will hear very noticeable/ loud train noises.

Breakfast is served at a café attached to the hotel, where you can choose from several set options. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay.

This was a lovely hotel for our last night in Japan. The staff helped us book two taxis to the airport which turned up on time and were very reasonable in terms of price. The rooms were great, but the proximity to the railway lines does mean there is quite a lot of noise until very late, and then starting again in the early hours of the morning so ear plugs are helpful. There were loads of free toiletries in the lobby which you could help yourself to which was a lovely touch. The hotel is right next to a Family Mart which was convenient for a cheap breakfast in the mornjng..We'd stay again if in Yokohama.

You can walk the place from hotel reception.
No need to go to outside.
But, there are always heard train sounds.
Hotel provide ear plugs, I recommend use it.

But amenity is amazing.
Also shower room has bath tub.
And they has hand held shower.
Really nice.

The room was small, which is average for Japan. However, the service was excellent and many amenities were placed out for your convenience in the lobby. Pajamas were also a nice touch and were available near the elevators on each floor. Heated toilet seats and integrated bidets were great. The rooms were clean and properly stocked (towels, toilet tissue, facial tissue, hand and bath soap, and shampoo/conditioner) when we arrived.

Hotel is close to Yokohama Station and YCAT, which we utilized from Narita to Yokohama. Just had to figure out the route through the maze of the station area. Then it was an easy walk to the hotel through the NE corner of the station. Friendly staff checked us into our 2-room room on the 14th floor. Rooms were small with hardly enough space to have our luggage out and opened. Good thing was with this 2-room set up, son was able to have his own room and his own bathroom, a big plus. But rooms were definitely tight. We did hear the trains but it was not loud enough to bother us. Small bathroom but worked. Location of the hotel can’t be beat! Easy walk to train and bus stations. JoinUs food court had everything we needed. On check out, staff was helpful and courteous in calling to get us a van to take us to Daikoku Cruise Terminal, totaling about $50USD. Good stay. Just wish the rooms were bigger!

The staff are the absolute nicest and most helpful of any hotel. They helped me understand the luggage transfer form and got my baggage shipped easily. They were patient with me when I locked myself out of my room. The room was flawlessly cleaned. The facilities had everything I needed including beer vending machine and laundry. The Family Mart on the first floor is extremely convenient and open 24 hours. The location is easily walkable from Yokohama station and Bay Quarter Mall. Definitely my favorite hotel stay in Japan!

Super location for K-Arena Concerts & Events

Great hotel in a very convenient location less than 5 mins walk from Yokohama Station and 10 mins from the K-Arena concert and event venue. Very clean and new; good breakfast at Beck's Coffee on the 1st floor. Easy check-in for non-Japanese speakers as well. A little far from other Yokohama tourist sites but perfect for business visits in the area or arena events. I'll stay there again if I'm in Yokohama for an event.

Overall it’s a convenient business hotel near Yokohama station. Clean, convenience store directly attached, many restaurants nearby. I got there early and I get that the check in is 3 or I came back around 1pm. They tried to charge me by the hour for early check in.
So I asked if the room is ready and they said it is. Yet they still tried to charge for an early check in. I found that to be absurd, very strange for Japanese people who are mostly extremely kind in general. I will not return.

Great location! Minutes walk to the Yokohama station. Sogo and various malls all around the area. Hotel is very new and the provided room is spacious for us 2 adults with 2 tweenage kids. Like how the toilet is separated from the bathroom. Beds are wide enough for sharing with a kid. Provided amenities are excellent too. My kids loved it too!

The location is very close to Yokohama station and there is a convenience store on the first floor. The connecting room we stayed in was comfortable, with three beds and two bathrooms.
The only drawback was that two (or maybe three) of the four coin-operated laundry machines were out of order, and the hotel did not appear to be repairing them, even during the busy New Year's holiday season. We had to make a late night trip to a laundromat about a 10-minute walk away, which was a challenge. Other than that, it was generally a good experience.

Very close to Yokohama Station just few min walk. I booked deluxe twin room with a futon sofa and Japanese style bathroom. Quite spacious in a city area. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. They provided not only green tea bags but also black tea bags and coffee and creamers.
The only bad thing was it’s so close to the rail u may hear the trains, but not disturbing unless u open the windows. I still had good sleep.

This was my second time to stay at the Sotetsu Fresa. It is super convenient to Yokohama station so it is easy to go to local shopping, Yokohama Chinatown. or even Kamakura. The rooms are super clean- as are most Japanese hotels, and my rooms was relatively spacious comparing to other Japanese hotels. Some reviewers have commented on the train noise. I stayed on the 13th floor, and while I could hear the trains, they weren't loud enough to keep me from getting a good nights sleep, and I'm a light sleeper. The train noise is simply the price for the convenience of the hotel. I'd stay at this hotel again.

I got a room on the 14th floor - very nice, clean, with options to have my towels changed, or everything changed, or nothing changed over the 2 days I stayed there. I did not mark \"quiet\" for the property in case there are people who would be very annoyed by the sound of the trains immediately next to the hotel - but I must say it was softer than an AC in many American hotel rooms I have stayed in. I had no trouble sleeping.
The staff was very helpful - held my luggage for me when I went shopping.
It is 4 minutes by walk from the Yokohama train station - which I used extensively (to get to the hotel from Haneda, and back, to get to Kawasaki and back ...
Lots of food options nearby!
I would definitely stay there again.
