Better than 3 star. Room recently decorated. Staff very friendly. Good location for sea front.
Nice pool area - only complaint is the floor around the pool could do with a deep clean (got dirty feet).
Food and drinks by the pool were reasonable.

Very nice hotel, indoor and outdoor pools, spa and beauty. Good breakfast with plenty of choice.
In room safe did not work and was reported but wasnt fixed.
Free parking was secure but there was only one fob for the electric gate - had to find a legal parking space outside hotel, go into hotel and get fob (several times had to wait in queue behind people checking in/out) get fob, walk back to car. Reverse procedure to retrieve car, get fob get car, find legal parking space, return key. All very time consuming especially as a solo traveller.

For the price, I think it is a bit basic. I expected a little more. Staff at breakfast and reception were mostly rude, blunt and not very helpful. There was one night when it appeared the recpetion lady had had a couple of drinks and smiled! Reception was often unoccupied, so getting the key for the parking area was annoying. Also, if recoetion tried to get you to park in the public parking lot nearby, insist in parking in their private space. There are no plug sockets near the bed and it was a shame that they do not offer tea/ coffee making facitilies in the room. Also the Spa was closed on one day we planned to use it, a Sunday. Breakfast was filling. Overall, it was ok ... a place to sleep, wash and park the car before a full day out.

PS. If you are a tea drinker i would recomend bringing a larger mug and preffered teabags 😁

The place is really nice and the stuff are mostly nice but they need to change some old, not very clean bits of the rooms, dining area etc. I enjoyed my stay but I couldn't not notice that every day my room was getting less tidy and less clean, by the last day they even left dirty mugs and didn't change them. Nice if you're not fussy

Hotel is centrally located for what I needed to do. Rooms are outdated and need a refresh. Even though breakfast is included, options were limited. How about some fresh fruit,other than slices of orange and grapefruit. Most of the staff was pleasant and helpful, but some couldn't care less. You get what you pay for. Average at best in my opinion. Would I stay there again? Yes,for what I came to cyprus for.

Ended up leaving after only 4 hours after checking in.
The floor was filthy. Hair everywhere in bathroom and in the fridge. The room was hot and no AC provided in winter months. But does not say that on the booking site. The saunas and hot tub were also closed for winter months but nothing stating that either. No TV channels in English, which I underground but it was not stated anywhere either.

In a very convenient location for us to access beach, nice cafes and restaurants. Some building work around the area and noisy motorcycles during the night at weekends but not constant. Very convenient for transport and great breakfasts!

Good location, very helpful reception stuff, nice breakfast. Rooms are clean and warm (which was very important in December). The hotel looks old, but it is closing for renovation soon. We stayed there for 2 nights and very happy with our stay. Good value for money.

To be honest the hotel was super dirty, warn out and old. Breakfast was very basic , towels in the room were smelly and seems to be dirty and hallways are moist. Hotel definitely needs a huge rennovation. Only good thing is that hotel was close to beach

Very pleasant and comfortable stay.

Very pleasant stay. The room was clean and tidy, decent sized bathroom, nice views from the balcony, comfy bed, very good breakfast with lots of variety, pool excellent with good availability of sunbeds, loved the indoor pool too, location excellent (30 second walk from the promenade). Excellent bar, all tastes catered for. The cleaning staff were very friendly and obliging.
Overall, very good 3 star hotel. Thank you to all at the Kapetanios.

In fact i was booked into Kapetanios ODYSSEIA Hotel, because K. Limassol Hotel had needed still one room for to book a group. I think I did not loose anything, maybe on the contrary.
Everything was quite OK, except the aircondition in my room made too much noise now and again. They tried to repair it two times, but it needs probably a bigger reparation.

Good Hotel for a long weekend

The Hotel is nicely located and the staff is friendly. it offers a good buffet breakfast but the dining room is a bit old/style, could do with a refresh of the furnishing.
It has a nice swimming pool area, but during my stay the wind and water temperature did not allow me to take advantage of it.

We had 2 rooms booked here
One ( a large family room with 2 single beds and a double bed) was in a separate annexe from the main building although this was not a problem. Cleanliness was good, check in staff and breakfast staff were pleasant and efficient
The buffet breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold options, we didn't eat dinner here
The pool was clean although some of the sun loungers were a bit tatty
Good location, 5 minute walk from the beach and promenade, 20 minute walk to the old town
We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again

All of the staff were really friendly especially the lovely lady running the restaurant. There were a few modifications being done which is to be expected for an out of season trip.
If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay, close to shops, bars and the beach then this is a great option.

2 single beds , not a double. morning receptionist was very nice, evening and night staff a bit rude and lazy, arguing that I should have said something about the beds on day one (after a 18hour trip) - door didn't lock from the inside, patio door didn't lock at all. Repair guy couldn't be bothered to fix it. eventually had to change rooms. Kitchen staff looked annoyed that we wanted eggs cooked on both sides, like it was asking too much. Soup of the day was actually soup of the week. Hotel was preparing for a refurb but that pushed back month after month we were told. Would not stay again.

Great staff and location

Very well located hotel with an amazing and friendly service. The receptionist (I think her name was Andrie) was super helpful and friendly at all times.
The hotel itself is a bit outdated but this is not a problem if you are not looking for a fancy hotel but just a clean and honest place to sleep.
Breakfast is good. Not special but enough for the purpose of the hotel.

Walking distance to beach & restaurants

No working telephone in room. Many of my colleagues could not access the internet. But the staff was so accommodating in every way and everything I needed to do in Limassol was within walking distance.

Basic but adequate hotel

I stopped at this hotel as part of the Limassol Marathon Weekend in March, so the important things were a comfortable bed and a good shower. Both of which didn’t disappoint. The room was cleaned daily and to a very good standard. The reception staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. Due to the marathon starting at 7:30am, the hotel started breakfast at 5am on that day, which I’ve heard from other runners was not the case at all hotels. All in all, based on the cost, the hotel offers exceptional value for money.

The hotel is centrally located, however, it does need an upgrade. The furniture is quite old and the hotel generally reminds me of an old age home. I had read someone write that the food was quite hot when they got breakfast, perhaps they went for breakfast at 7am but we went for breakfast at 8:30am and did not find the food hot. There also wasn't much variety for their breakfast. Overall, I was quite disappointed as their pictures looked like their rooms were modern.

Breakfast is buffet style and quite good, hot food (eggs and bacon etc ) were hot not warm as in some hotels.
Excellent outdoor pool area, indoor pool smaller but good.
Small bar, very well stocked and excellent barman very helpful. We had a large room in the Executive rooms annex complete with balcony the bed was comfortable even though it was a memory foam mattress.
All in all a good hotel.

Limassol wine festival trip

I picked this hotel for its location as we wanted to visit the wine festival and this hotel was only a few minutes walk away. The festival was brilliant but the hotel was only ok. It was old and tired and needed some updating. The breakfast was included in our price and was pretty reasonable.
We were only there's for 2 nights but probably long enough!

I have stayed in Cyprus many times as have been out on business for over a year. As I had a spare weekend, I thought I would get out of Nicosia & go to the coast. Hated Limassol, a very poor beach, stretched out strip & just didnt have any vibe to it. The Hotel was at best poor, reminded me of a 70s sitcom set! The excuse of a \"gym\" was appalling, no lights, no air con and very few exercise machines, if you are going to have a gym, dont play at it, make it worthwhile to visit or just use the space better!! Didnt enjoy one moment in the hotel or city, thank goodness I didnt book a week's holiday here!

Family Friendly and Clean Hotel

We stayed here for 2 days to explore Limassol. The hotel isn't very visually appealing but the beds are comfortable, staff are friendly and overall price affordable. We loved that the parking lot was right below the hotel room and there were a lot of different restaurants and cafes nearby that we could walk to for a quick bite.

Breakfast was included with our room booking and was simple and delicious. We also went to the pool in the afternoons which was cold but refreshing.

Overall the hotel is perfect for large families as the rooms were big.

Would stay here again...

Affordable and well located Hotel

We stayed for 4 days in this hotel and we chose it because of its location and price.
It is located only one block away from the Limassol promenade and around 30 minutes walking distance from the Limassol medieval castle and marina, where you can find lovely restaurants and bars (not the ones English prefer with TV screens and happy hours).
The room was comfy and clean and it had a balcony looking at the swimming pool. The hotel also offers a parking space at an adjacent building. The breakfast was rich enough for the size of this hotel.
We will definitely stay again in a future visit to Cyprus.

Kapetanios a friendly hotel, good staff. Great location near beach and Old Port.
In need of up dating in parts. The bathroom had a broken plug which stopped the sink draining, rusty shower rail and a towel rail that kept falling off wall! Beds not the softest.
Lovely pool area and food excellent.
Would return if bathrooms etc were renovated, as annoying after a few days.
