The beds and pillows were really comfortable. Also walkable to Lotte and other malls which is convenient.

They have a small rooftop area which is nice to sit and do some work.

The first room I got the fridge had mould and shower head was looking very dirty. It was a large room but I asked to change which they happily did.

Wifi was very poor in the second room but cleanliness was improved.

Breakfast was mainly local food and not much vegetarian options. One day there were many ants in the fruit plate which not hygienic.

For the price it was ok but I'll stay at another spot next time

Awesome stay in Jakarta

Service is impeccable, check in and out were seamless. Breakfast is wholesome with great variation to fuel the day. Hotel is strategically located, short walk to Lotte Mall and there's a mart opposite. Like the design where air con is individually set up in every room. Will return again.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Very clean, everything is well organised, good breakfast, perfect location, swimming pool is nice.

But the best part of the whole experience was definitely the people working in Avissa Suites! It’s 100 out of 10, absolutely! :)
Everyone is perfectly friendly and helpful, knowledgeable about everything I had to ask them, willing to assist in any possible way. During my stay (which was 11 nights) these people helped me out so many times with so many things!

Really enjoyed! Highly recommend!

For short trip doesn't mind to stay again

The location is not easy to find, driver need to ask around. Not aware that air-con is not auto link with the main switch which most hotel has it. So sleep without air-con on the whole night felt very stuffy and hot. The TV has a clicking sound when it was turn on, very irritating. Surprise the breakfast was not bad in selection but very crowded as seem not enough seat when a big group come together.

amazing food, basic clean room

Here are the best features of the hotel:
- clean room
- wonderful restaurant -- I cannot stress this enough. They actually cook local food and their prices are not an order of magnitude above local food
- staff is kind and helpful

Here are the features I feel could have been improved
- water pressure in the shower. Water is definitely hot enough (takes a while the first time you turn it on, but it gets hot) but there is very low water pressure. I would definitely not recommend for washing long, thick hair. It is adequate but not what you would expect for a 3+ star hotel.
- air conditioner does not work well. The air conditioner takes about an hour to cool the room minimally, and if you do not set it on the lowest setting it does not cool at all. Again, adequate but not what you would expect from a 3+ hotel.
- location. The part of Jakarta where the hotel is located is not an easily walkable area. It is noisy and there is a lot of vehicular traffic. That said, it is inexpensive to book a cab and almost all the tours pick up from the hotel. Location is fairly close to shopping but pretty far from the sights a typical traveler would want to see.

Overall I enjoyed my stay but it was not a 3-5 star experience.

It was good overall. They didn't clean our room and when we got back they said the do not disturb sign was on all day. They offered pretty good service especially when we tried to get a taxi. They got us taxi in less than 5 minutes.

bathroom needs to be cleaner

Staff are excellent and helpful. I did not like the location so much as it was not very convenient for me to get to various places. Bathroom needs renovation as it is old and not very clean. But for the price, it is a good value for those who are not fussy about cleanliness like me.

Hotel staffs are very friendly and accommodating. Housekeepers provided me with extra towels for my kid. Counter staff helped me to call KFC delivery because I can't seem to get through to their hotline and even helped me to place order because KFC staff can't commute well in English. 5mins walk to Lotte Shopping Centre and ITC Kuningan.

Spoilt aircon but got a new room eventually upgrad

Discovered aircon had stopped working in the middle of the night(2-4am), did a google search to realise a blinking timer indicator on a panasonic aircon probably means it wont work without repair.

Called front desk for help, the night duty guy initially wanted me to wait for a technician to come at 9am, but after he fiddled with the aircon remote awhile, it could not turn cold.

Front desk then decided to give me another room so I could sleep.

I am thankful for this as sleep is very important for travellers.

I got upgraded later on to a family suite with the best view in the hotel (of Lotte shopping mall) , and had a very pleasant sleep on the 2nd night.

My second time staying at Avissa.

The location to Kuningan City Mall and Lotte Shopping Avenue Mall is good, the reliable Blue Bird taxis are always around.

The room is a good size with good bathroom facilities.

The breakfast food is good but a bit monotonous.

The self laundry facility is good but the washing machine requires a good clean, especially the detergent dispenser tray.

Good - Very clean. Spacious. Value for money. Good breakfast variety. Friendly and accommodating staff. 10 mins walking distance from LOTTE Shopping Avenue. 24 hour convenience stores just in front of the hotel.

Bad - Shower water pressure was not that strong. Located about 30metres from the main road. Some people may have problems finding the hotel. Not able to make external calls using room's telephone.

Great place for medium-term stays. It's clean, comfortable (although AC was a little weak), the staff is helpful, the breakfast is tasty. There is a small, shared kitchen, but it is not well stocked with pots/pans/utensils/etc., making it less useful. In room, you get a fridge and an electric kettle with basic coffee and tea supplies. The real beauty of this place is that they also have a washer/dryer available for free guest use on the 2nd floor. They even provide laundry soap. They will also do your laundry for you, but that is a little slow and not free. Being able to just do my own laundry made me very happy. In addition to the 2 bottles of water in-room, you can also refill bottles from the dispenser in the shared spaces.

This hotel in central java is clean, friendly and the deluxe suites are amazingly spacious. The room has two desks (larger Suite) with fridge, coffee maker, fantastic shower. Room service decent an quick, breakfast minimal but good.

Traffic anywhere in Jakarta is bad, but it is easy to get a Bluebird Cab here anytime. Walking is very feasible for many needs: 10 minute walk from 2 major shopping malls with food stores & everything else: the bargain-filled Ambassador Mall(next to Carrefour supermarket) and across the street the Ciputra World 1 (high end) which has Keris Batik for souvenirs. Circle-K across the street and small food store next door. 15 minute walk to World Trade center and Le Meriden hotel.
Walking takes a bit of getting use to: sidewalks not always great/present, but follow everyone else and it is safe. Absolutely no security issues or concerns: very safe area, guards around 24/7. I walked everywhere without the slightest problem. Jakarta is a very safe city as long as you use basic common sense that you would sue in Paris, London or any unfamiliar city: ask the locals their advice!

Good but not the best, budjet hotel.

What we liked about the Hotel was its location, near to Lotte Mall but just be careful crossing to the Mall, even with the crossing lights on red and security holding hands up, the driver still want run you over! Back to the hotel rooms were OK although on the small side and the art work in the corridors is thoughtful. On the negative side small,small breakfast room, poor food selection and when we ask for fresh tea, just ignored.

A good hotel conveniently close to the VFS Office

The hotel represented very good value for central Jakarta. Rooms were all twin bedded, with good choice of TV channels and it was commendably clean. The only adverse comment was that there were no large family rooms for a couple with one child, but we managed. We would definitely stay there again.

I wanted to stay close to shopping area, thats why i.chose.this hotel. I have stayed here earlier in May 2013 too.

Hotel is new and well maintained. Service is good and staff is friendly.

My luggage was dalayed and they entertained my case witb full interest and patience.

Price is also well justified. Hotel has excellent choice of tv channels. All premium and ad-free channels.

Breakfast is sufficient.. not lavish but sufficient.

I.would come here again.

Plus: Comfortable bed (really!), price (value for money!), location, acceptable breakfast included.

Minus: Very slow service during breakfast. How can it takes 10 min to refill juice or fruit when they are finished?

Breakfast Tip: Grab things while they last! Also, eggs/omelet are made to order, just ask for it.

Bonus: Lotte Shopping Avenue is 300 m walking distance away with shopping, supermarket, Starbucks, wine bar and food court (level 5).

Good value for business travel in Jakarta

I stayed 2 nights and thought the quality of the room very high and very good value for the price of around $50/night. I usually stay in a hotel twice that, but AVissa's room was just as good. The breakfast was very simple but adequate. I asked for eggs and they cooked them.

Near Kuningan, although the absence of continuous sidewalk makes it difficult to walk there with a feeling of safety. Room is relatively small / tight-fitting, and once I did find a cockroach in it. The house keeping and cleaning could use improvement, as there was dirt and residue missed here which would be cleaned in a better class hotel.

Excellent - absolutely clean and neat hotel - close to several malls - Festival Pasar, Epicentrum, Ambassador Mall - give you option to move around after work.... ATM, 24x7 store downstairs of Hotel, the room service was 5 star and food is good too. Breakfast was reasonable - a nice clean - perfect size room, excellent quality - i just wish it remains same always and i have to look for nothing more when i visit jakarta...keep it up excellent staff support.

This was my first stay at Avissa Suites and I'm glad I made the reservation. I normally stay at the larger, international chains in Jakarta but the price of this boutique hotel was less than half of the ones I normally stay in so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did. Although the rooms are a bit small, they are clean and comfortable. The bathroom isn't fancy but it's fine. Breakfast is included albeit it has a limited selection. However, the two really nice perks are (1) they launder 4 items of clothing per day for free, (2) the internet connection is by far the fastest and most stable I've had in Jakarta. The hotel is an excellent value in this part of town.

Comfy Beds - 3 Star Hotel with 5 Star Bed Quality

Having the good sleep is always my priority during traveling. Avissa Suites - you pay 3 star hotel and you get 5 star beds comfort quality. In addition to that, the cable TV Channel is excellent, all you want to watch is there. WIFI connection is great too. Location practically is in the city center. Knowing Jakarta is a traffic city, staying here is very practical.

It turned out to be further from the airport than anticipated. This was no problem at midnight going to the hotel however getting back to the airport mid morning took 90 minutes. The breakfast was plentiful however more attention is needed in respect to seasoning and cooking time with some things being under and others overcooked. Example: 2 batches of a chicken nugget came out barely beige in color with the breading being wet dough consistency.

Even though the hotel was 3 stars, it made me feel as if I was in a 4 star hotel. The service is good, the staff are friendly, and they can all speak proper English, unlike many 3-4 star hotels I have been to. They even have other extra services to add to their unique selling proposition such as free laundry and cheap room service.

The only downer was that while it was situated at a convenient area, near mega kuningan shopping area, it is actually at a residential area just behind the shopping district. Not at the main road, but at a smaller road. Therefore many taxi drivers got lost near the hotel and had to ask for directions, or once I was familiar with the location, I had to direct them to the hotel when they got to the smaller street.

That being said, I still enjoy my experience at the hotel and will patronise it again.

快適でした。

チェックインもスムーズで、ウェルカムドリンクまでいただきました。
朝食の種類は多くありませんが、毎日変えてあり美味しくいただきました。
夜も2回レストランを利用しましたが、ボリュームもあり美味しいでした。食後にアイスクリームのサービスがあり、嬉しかったです。
マッサージは部屋に来てしてもらい、20%オフで価格も安く毎日お願いしました。
モールにも近いし、総合的に満足でした。

室内は、広くは無いが十分に使いやすい広さがあった。
最初に入った部屋が、中庭に面していたが、カーテンを開けると向かいの廊下から室内が見える構造で、開けることが出来なかった。
フロントでの交渉で部屋を替えてくれたが良かった。

気ままにステイできるホテル

ここ数年、ジャカルを訪問時は、クニンガンにある徐のホテルを定宿にしています。少し判り難い場所にありますが、昨年ぐらいからタクシーの運転手はホテルをネット検索して連れて行ってくれますので、ホテル名さえ正しく伝えれば特に問題はありません。
相変わらず、チェックインはスピーディーで、笑顔で対応してくれます。また、レイトチェックアウトが必要なら、17：00まで/宿泊代の半額程度で延長可能です。施設は少し古さを感じさせますが、清掃はしっかりされています。部屋の照明は少々暗く、読書をするには不向きです。机上のダウンライトだけでももう少し明るいといいのですが・・・
ベッドは硬めが好きな私には、少し柔らかく感じられます。また、シャワーしか利用しない私は問題ありませんが、バスタブが必須の方は要検討です。
朝食は種類は多くはありませんが、私はおいしく頂いています。また、歩いて10分弱のところに、日本食を含む多くのレストランがあるショッピングセンター（ロッテ）があります。地階には食料品やカフェ、換金ショップなどがあり重宝します。
自宅感覚で、気ままに過ごせるコスパの高いホテルだと思いますが、出来れば、そろそろリニューアルされることを期待します。

모든 서비스가 불편함이 없이 잘 이루어지고 있어서

Some furnitures were broken and could not be used. Room is big and comfortable .
If much more amenities, I can feel more comfortable
