The staff are friendly, but the standard of cleanliness is extremely disappointing. If you’re going to stay there, I recommend you take your own towels.

The hotel is located on a back street and the atmosphere is extremely busy and smelly with open drains of stagnant water

I have been staying her for years. Always feel like i am coming home. Haven't been there as often because of COVID in the last few years, but when i came back the staff which were still there gave me a warm welcome. The location is convenient for meetings in the Kuningan area, and the food is good, although the menu is limited. But the rooftop restaurant is wonderful. Highly recommended.

Old hotel room, lots of visible stains, old TV with local channels. Pretty weird to have a microwave oven.

Bed quality is not bad but internet sucks big time. Full WIFI but very slooooow and got timeout.

Shower has slow water and toilet looks yellowish but floor is clean in overall.

Rasuna Icon Hotel Review by Glenn Madden

The hotel had nothing to complain about. It was down a street filled with local vendors. If you are looking for a view not so great but definitely in touch with the local areas. The hotel was super clean. The power just happened to go out in the area when we arrived and within seconds the hotel had a generator running for the entire hotel operations. There were these strange windowed doors, two of them in the room that led to nothing but close the curtains and forget them.

Never coming back

Aircon not working properly, mosquitos in the room, no extra card key ( tried but cant use credit cards) for short leave from the room.
I needed to keep my Lap top on when i had to go to the coffee shop for a short meeting.
Also no decent eateries near the Hotel.

First room we got wasn’t the room we booked for it was a cheaper room but we paid for a room at a higher rate. On top of that the room looked like it had been lived in already and not cleaned

Good location

Stayed here twice, and it always been a good experience for us, the room is very comfy, quiet and nice.
The only thing that need to be improved is the wifi connection, had a couple of problem with it speed.
Other than that, is great.

Overall it was good except they should believe in customer... Hotel card machine was not working and they forced me to withdraw money and deposit for total stay value before checked in.

Hotel price is overrated in comparison with same range of other hotels.

I stayed at Rasuna Icon twice within a week. The first time I was very unhappy with the room I had been given, but no need to dwell on that now, because when I returned ofter a few days away, I had a great room on the top floor! Lovely balcony. All good.
I really like the Skygarden and enjoy the neighborhood where you can find everything you need (I actually lived in this street some years ago, which maybe helps:)

Very pleasant stay

Very comfortable hotel in great neighborhood. Convenient to major transit routes, sites, restaurants and shopping, and surrounded by good warung/kaki-lima/laundry/Indomaret/etc. Good wifi. Very clean. Good linens. Laundry service was efficient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy for taxi/uber/gojek/grab/etc. drivers to find (Karet Pedurenan is a well-known street). Mini kitchenette in room was useful if minimal. Fridge temperature was wonky (either too warm or freezing things, no happy middle ground) and gym equipment didn't work well (treadmill was so jittery I couldn't run on it and elliptical didn't turn on at all), but overall, a very pleasant place to stay. Would return and/or recommend to a friend.

Convenient & Clean Hotel

The hotel is conveniently located near major shopping areas. They also have 24-hour room service which rather reasonably priced. But for the adventurous, there is a 24 hour mini market down the road and some eating shops that close late along the street. Breakfast was in a very nice rooftop terrace restaurant. But given the low price we paid, the selection is really very limited.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It's well situated in Kuningan only a few minutes walk to major malls and restaurants in the area (including Mega Kuningan district). The hotel itself is beautifully architected inside, and the rooms, while small are incredibly clean and well designed. Staff were amazing from beginning to end, the courteous and friendly, helpful attitude that you appreciate when traveling. The rooftop area for drinks was really good. Just the general vibe of the place was really amazing. I'd go back there in a heartbeat either short or long term when back in Jakarta. It's a bit off the beaten path, but that's partially what I like about it. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel with some noise issues

More like serviced apartments than a hotel which can be a good thing because room has a decent size and high ceiling. Nicely decorated and super clean. Very cool rooftop area. 24h room service. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is a bit limited. The best aircon I have ever seen in a hotel.
Only big negative is the noise problem. Rooms facing outside of the building suffer from very loud prayers...there are 4 mosques within 200m and one right across the street. Rooms facing inside of the building suffer from noise generated by guests. Too many hard surfaces causes acoustic problems.
Also, it is ridiculous that guests are allowed to smoke near the lifts as you can smell it in the room (apart from hearing them talk). Management should do something about it.
If noise and smoking situation can be improved I would not even think about other places. This hotel has great potential.

Hotel is reasonably ok but fails on location

Although it indicated \"walking distance to the shopping mall', it was almost impossible to walk to the malls. I took a cab and a motor-taxi, both got lost and couldn't find their way to the hotel. It was not located in a \"touristy location\" and there isn't prominent signages directing to the hotel. The only good thing is that it was near to the public bus system if you are intending to take the bus.

Very Clean and Modern Hotel

The hotel is nestled among private homes, high-rise boarding houses, local businesses, and other similar hotels on a busy side street off Jl. Rasuna Said. The rooms are spacious, immaculate, well lighted, and supplied with a refrigerator, microwave, food sink, wall air conditioner, and ample wardrobe space. The food is savory and beautifully presented, and the hotel staff are friendly, helpful, and efficient. I had a very pleasant four-week stay in one of their affordable business suites.

Excellent hotel, disappointing experience

The hotel is attractive, well appointed, in a conveniently located area close to both traditional and contemporary commercial and residential areas. The staff members are kind, attentive and the service is excellent. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and pleasant. The breakfast is excellent. I had a problem, though. I booked and paid for a business suite but I was allocated a de luxe room, the smallest and cheapest room in the hotel, which cost a great deal less than the cost of a business suite I had reserved and pre-paid. The matter was never resolved and I received no response to my request for help from hotels.com about this problem. I recommend the hotel, but would advise anyone not to book anything but the de luxe room, as that is probably what you will get regardless of having paid for something more.

This was my 2nd stay at the hotel and liked it just fine.
I liked their roof top restaurant. It's awesome.
The staff is quite good and will help you get a cab anytime of the day. It is a bit inside but quite near to offices I generally visit during my business trips.

I love staying at this hotel and would love to stay here again.

Good boutique hotel in south Jakarta

A nice hotel in Jakarta, all of the staff are very friendly and could not do enough for us during our stay. While rooms are on the small side (but we knew this when we booked) they are clean, modern and nicely decorated. The en-suite bathrooms are very good. The rooftop bar/ breakfast area has great views across the city. Breakfasts were fine, although the choice is a bit limited. The Rasuna Icon is well located in the southern part of the city, a short taxi ride away from bar/ entertainment districts (although it may take some time in the notorious Jakarta traffic). Something to be aware of is that the hotel address is not well known to all taxi-drivers, so there may be some difficulty in finding it. Overall however, we had a great weekend in Jakarta, and would certainly return to the Rasuna Icon.

The hotel is located in a low area where streets are very tights and the sewage tunnels are shown. Moreover, if you need to go to the center of Jakarta or to the airport, you need 2 hours -at least- or even more.

Great value for money. The only disadvantage afoot this hotel is that it's located on a fairly narrow side street which clogs with traffic. Nevertheless there an interesting kampung area between the hotel and KunIngan City mall which comes alive at night. About 10 minutes walk to Kuningan City and Ambassador malls.

Good Price - Better Location

For the price and location, you would be hard pressed to not stay here. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I did have an issue one night with a strong sewer gas smell coming from the bathroom? No matter what I did, I couldn't get the smell to go away. There were also no \"do not disturb\" signs so housekeeping would knock endlessly until I answered the door.

1. The drinking glass in the bathroom was dirty with a soap bubble mouth mark on it. Looks like it has been used to clean after tooth brushing by someone who stayed in the room before me.
2. Air con in my room was not cold. I checked into the room around noon and found the A/C was not cold. I did complaint to the front desk, and they sent someone into my room. He checked the mode on the remote which i did check before. He said let it cool for awhile, but as i got somewhere to be, so i left.
I came back around 10 pm and turn the A/C on for about 2 hours and it was not cold. I did complaint again and the same thing happened, they check the remote mode for the second time.
3. I complaint about the A/C to the front desk and asked to be moved to another room. The front desk replied they are full, all the rooms are taken. So i said it is fine for me to pay more as long as i could get some rest. And they do have empty rooms now.
4. They let me look at 2 rooms, but the A/C was not cold either in both rooms. Looks like they didn't have a proper maintenance. Because I did spent a night about a year ago when the hotel was newly open, and everything was excellent.
5. The person who accompanied me while checking 2 other rooms (the same guy who checked the remote the second time) was kind of rude with a sleepy face on him. I would say his sleeping time was disturbed by me.
6. Very nice pillow, but the bed was squeaky. If i have put it in number with 0 is the lowest and 10 the highest, i will give it a 6. It was ok if you considering the price.
7. With the combination of the A/C, squeaky noise of the bed, and unhappy feeling, I had a rough night.

Cozy Place to Stay for a Short Trip

It was a very nice place to stay for a short trip. The room was cozy, clean and equipped with all the equipments that an apartment should have. Each room has its own small balcony. The bathroom was also clean and had modern style which is very important for me. breakfast place is on the roof top. It has covered and outdoor seating area. But the bed made a lot of noise whenever I turned around or moved during my sleep. So made my sleep kinda restless because of that. But all in all was a nice stay.

Affordable and pleasant hotel

I was looking for one night stay in JKT during a business trip and didnt want to pay too much. Rasuna Icon is located very close to the business district so it was convenient to take a taxi out to my meetings. Room is clean and comfortable. Aircon works perfectly, lots of channels on TV - local channels and HBO for English movies.. Toilet was clean. WiFi can be abit unstable at the lobby and rooftop cafe but they provide a LAN cable in the rooms. You dont find many cheap hotel this good.

Rasuna Icon is very affordable 3* in Kunningan. Walking distance to Epicentum for 7/11 and restaurants. Friendly staff.

I usually stay here when in Jakarta and I like the hotel. Areas of improvement:
- No iron available. Not even at reception.
- No multiplug electrical sockets in the room.

Very cheap hotel but really nice

We chose this hotel since we're just going to \"sleep\" since our arrival was very late (about 12midnight). For P1500+taxes, it's not bad at all. The hotel is quite new and very clean. They even agreed that we check out at 2pm since there's not much guests at that time - very accommodating!

Nice boutique hotel in the heart of Jakarta

Nice modern hotel. Perfect location as close to shopping centres, offices, bars and restos. Nice roof top terrace where also breakfast is served. Only downsides were that coffee machine was broken and canned drinks mentioned in the menu were not available. Seems someone need to check on rooftop availability of drinks. Broken coffee machine is just not acceptable for a hotel. But a new one or get the old one repaired. Otherwise I can recommend. Good value for money. Also very easy to get taxis on the small road in front of the taxi.

Cozy service apartment in the heart of the city

I gambled on Rasuna Icon due to a need to be close to the workplace, although I wasn't expecting much looking at the street it was on. Once I checked in, I realized that this is really a cozy service apartment that is built to a very good standard. The design was modern yet welcoming, and the cleanliness of the rooms really impressed. For a small establishment, the breakfast spread was quite impressive, compared to other hotels in a similar price range. Nothing negative to report other than the extra soft bed but that is a personal thing.

Great value for money business hotel

Great value for money. Considering the price, the location is conviniently located in Kuningan business district of Jakarta. Hotel located on small street and there is nothing really withing walking distance, but the hotel has a very nice roof top restaurant/area where breakfast is served, and you can also eat dinner and sit and relax in the evening. On the top floor there is also a small gym. Rooms are nice and clean, staff are friendly. Wifi is free but wifi reception in many rooms is patchy. I have stayed many times at Rasuna when on business trip to Jakarta.

Good Value

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Food choices are reasonable and quality is good. Rooms can be a bit depressing, as there is often no window, just some glass bricks to let in a little light. It can be very hard to get a taxi from the hotel, so if you need one its best to have the hotel call for one in advance. The breakfast buffet is nice.

This is a 4 Star Design Hotel

Business trip. First time to Jakarta. Booked for 2 nights, but ended up staying all 5 nights. This is definitely a 4 star design hotel. New and clean. Small and personal. Great staff and service. Nice roof terrace. The gym needs better air flow. And the WiFi is not perfect inside the hotel rooms (although fine in all public areas + they´re working on it + they gave us a new room closer to the routers). Situated on a small, local street. Quiet and safe. And still nearby the large JL. Rasuna HR Said, food and shopping. The cab drivers are having some difficulty finding the local street. But ask for \"Kuningan City, which is nearby. Will definitely come back again.

Cute accommodation not for light sleepers

I loved my one night's stay in this small hotel. Lovely staff and the rooftop bar/restaurant is an oasis in the middle of the city. I couldn't fault the rooms except the middle of the hotel is an atrium so noises swirl and it sounds like you are sleeping right in the Mosque when the early morning prayers start up at 4.45am.

The hotel is in a small traffic congested street the taxis found it after they aske many times. The room was small and it has no window but clean. The staff was friendly. I have not tried the breakfast as I have taken the breakfast with a friend outside the hotel

The hotel was beautiful. Very clean and modern. I was only in JKT for 1 night so I picked a nice place. Unfortunately, the wifi was spotty and the beds had a wooden frame that stuck out from the mattress that I banged my shin bone on 2 times in the same place. So painful. Breakfast was good and the rooftop garden/ resto is nice. Staff is attentive and friendly. Oh, I almost forgot, the map on their biz card is hard to read, so get someone to write it down on a paper clearly before you venture out. I handed the card to a taxi driver and he couldn't read it. I called twice to get the front desk to give directions to my taxi driver.

A NICE LITTLE HOTEL

I recently stayed here for 4 nights. For thos of you who've travelled in SE Asia (aprat from Japan) this will come across as a very good hotel. The staff were 'super friendly' and the reception desk people spoke very good english. The rooms are small and 'basic-ish', but you can easily spend a rainy afternoon in them in comfort. The AC is cold, there is a fridge, the rooms are almost spotlessly cleaned, there is hot water (which you should expect in a hotel of this standard - but it isn't common in this part of the world). The breakfast changes daily and is really quite something to look forward to. But if you don't tell the staff otherwise, it will arrive at 630am, so bear this in mind. There is an ATM at the big hotel at the end of the street and also an internet cafe with a sit down phone boothe, next to a money changer (but this is over the big road in the Rasuna plaza place). You can't make local calls from the hotel phones in your room. The hotel is about a $4 cab ride and 20 mintues away from Passar Rumput markets. They are the biggest traditional markets in JKT and if you haggle over the price, you can walk away with clothes at a bargain rate like no other.

Must stay hotel in jakarta

Firstly, the hotel facilities is good, everyday you will have breakfast served in your room, the hotel room is clean, when I am there for the first day, I actually ask to change the room, upgrade to the boutique suite room, it much more better, it offer a balcony and view to the city, although the surrounding is noisy in the evening and morning, due to a mosque nearby. The hotel is situated in a small street, access to town can be a bit difficult, but the hotel staff can get a cab easily for the guest, overall is a nice stay, would recommend this hotel to everyone who is going to jakarta.

NICE ROOMS IN A DODGY AREA

Modern hotel with rooms finished to a high standard - limited hotel facilities - no bar,pool or restaurant ( breakfast is delivered to your room )- buildingwork is taking place on top floor ) - walking outside is nerve racking in daylight as the street is narrow,with no footpath and is used as a \"rat run\" for cars and motorbikes - walking after dark is highly dangerous - for those who are brave enough it's 5 minutes walk to Ambassador Mall or Epicentrum Center security is good and staff friendly and helpful

We had a very bad experience while check in and check out. The lady gave us a very hard time. She had no clue about it and was asking a deposit of USD 500 to guarantee against any damage to the room. She further asked for a hard copy of the hotel confirmation upon check in. While check out she again asked us to hand over the hard copy of confirmation for hotel records. She surely made our lives miserable while check in and check out. Never want to stay in that hotel again.

Good Price - Great Service

I simply enjoy staying at this hotel, it has a clean room & pleasant ambience.

Internet connection is fast, breakfast is yummy, and the staffs are very much helpful.

部屋環境、設備環境として、早朝までに及ぶ近隣施設からの音楽やインターネット速度の問題、またシャワーのお湯圧などが満足のいくものではない。

多くのスタッフ達は笑顔で、問題は発生するが、対応しようとする姿勢が良い。ただ直っていないものを直った、などの言い訳はいらないので素直にいつまでにどうするのかをしっかり出来れば良いと思います。

朝食は品数が少ないこと、毎日のバリエーションが少ない為、長期では飽きてきます。また時間帯によっては全くない状態もありました。

ジムは狭い部屋の一室に機材をちょろっと置いているだけなので、ジムとは言えません。

ランドリーマシーンはなく、ランドリーサービスのみで、価格的に近くのクリーニング屋に出す方が圧倒的に安いです。

隣接するレストランの生バンドが深夜3時頃まで大音量で演奏しておりうるさい。

宿泊階の給湯設備が故障し、1週間お湯が使えず水シャワーであった。

ベッドメイク等毎日あるが、ベットで時間を過ごすと脚や身体に複数の赤みを発症する。
恐らくダニに噛まれているものと思われる。

汗や皮脂といった匂いが寝具に染み付いており臭い。

Staff helpful. rooms budget. Okay for a few days.

Budget hotel, location is good in regards to vicinity to Grand Indonesia mall and other interesting malls. The neighbourhood is less attractive. Staff are very nice and helpful, especially the reception staff who will try to accommodate as best as they can. reception area is fairly neat and smells nice. There's a working elevator. I haven't tried the restaurant or breakfast due to my schedule. The rooms are a little less neat, and there were issues with the shower temperature. Had to change room due to bad smell in the first one. The second one was okay, except for as mentioned, the shower water was too cold.
For a few days on a low budget this would do for me. Don't expect a 4 star hotel chain standard. Strongest point for me was the vicinity to Grand Indonesia and Kemang area.

すごく快適です

ホテルは星の数が合わないほどきれいで、スタッフもとても親切で快適なホテルです。屋上のレス欄ではアルコールも用意されており、数少ないアルコールが飲めるホテルの一つです。シャワーのお湯が水が出ることになり、再度使えるようになるまで1時間要したこともありました。他は基本的に懸念点などはありません。また利用したいと思います。

주변에 마트와 편의점이 있고, 호텔 바로 앞에 세탁소가 있음
스트릿푸드 좋아하면 밤에 잠깐 근처 나가서 먹을만한 곳 꽤 있음.
롯데 쇼핑 애비뉴와 직선거리는 얼마 떨어져 있지 않지만 차로 이동하기는 꽤 걸림.
걸어서 거주지역 뚫고 가면 금방 가긴 하는데 골목이 복잡해서 길 잃기 쉬움. 해 떨어지고 난 다음에 거기 도보로 지나가는 건 비추 그냥 택시나 그랩 타세요.
