I cannot imagine this is a 4/5-star hotel in CBD. Checkin takes 30min in the evening, very noisy during the night, even they already upgraded my suit to another, the glass-door in the bathroom cannot opened smoothly. The hotel is very nice and modern. The staff is friendly and the amenities are kept in good condition. My only complaint and it’s a big one, I booked a double room executive for 3 people. The booking very well makes it seem like you are booking two rooms with two beds, the pictures also lead you to believe this. I mean the name is double room?? What else could that mean? When you check in, they tell you know, it’s single room , they just name the king size beds double room . How does this make sense ??? In my opinion this very misleading and false advertisement. A hotel would be penalized and investigated in Canada where I live. You are not allowed to falsely advertise and mislead. The hotel was happy to help us and change the room though. Just a big mess around that should be avoided in the first place. You can’t not advertise a double room and say it’s a single, double means two , a pair, more than one. I hope they change this

Wifi connection is bad, I had to use my mobile data most of the time.

Booked the hotel with knowledge that it is dated and worn, but it is still disappointing.

The room smells of stale smoke, the corridor smells of stale smoke. We were told it is a smoking hotel. Guest are permitted so smoke even when signs says other wise.

The room was very noisy at night. On the lower floor will hear the loud A/C compressor blasting just outside the windows, and upper floor hears loud singing. Hot water in the bathroom seems to be in short supply after midnight.

The air-condition was down for an entire day (both common area and rooms). The hotel was kind enough to provide a temporary room for our use in the afternoon. However, that room seem to have been used by another occupant while we were away. Used condom, shower items were found in the bathroom after that.

Food in the hotel was unremarkable. While there were some variety, the quality of the breakfast buffet was not good. Beef was really chewy, the chicken was overcooked dry, and how fried egg can be hard to bite is beyond me. Decided to also try the Chinese and Indian restaurants by the hotel, turns out the quality was not too good either.

The swimming pool is smaller than I thought, but the gym was well equipped.

Location wise, it is next to Kunningan City that was convenient for my purpose. Usual horrid Jakarta traffic in that area makes driving a waste of time. If not for the walking distance to my business destination, will probably not consider this hotel again.

The room wasn't meet our expectation for the price

location was conveniently located to where attending for a wedding. but the traffic condition was terrible. the AC was really noisy and we have to turn it off to get good sleep. The curtain in the room wasn't set up properly but we managed to close it everything at night. The room did not meet our expectation for the price. It wasn't much choices of food particularly for western.

I have stayed here twice now. Both times I had a pleasant experience.

Awesome Indian restaurant on floor 6 (shout out to the chef, and the waiter who speaks Hindi)

Cool bar on floor 33 (shout out to Manoar the barman!)

Pool/spa/gym etc. On floor 8.

There’s approx 6 malls on the same street as the hotel too lol!

It’s not 5 star but for the price it’s great, comparatively speaking.

Not worth the price. Not 4 stars Hotel more like 2 stars. Air Con not cold. Internet not stable & 1 room only can connect 3 devices. Traffic Super Super terrible Bad. Jam at all time. Not Enough Pillow; called Housekeeping to request they stated they don't have extra. 1 room 3 pillows only. 4 stars hotel... No extra pillow... Bed & Pillow super soft. Pool Dirty No Maintenance as super slippy walking the steps into pool...
Only goods things are near to malls...

4-star quality hotel just beside Kurigan City mall

Overall satisfied with the stay, though just for 1 night. Service is quite prompt and professional.

In the hotel itself there's a variety of restaurants serving different food-Continental, Chinese, Indian and even vegetarian. There is also a rather posh-looking bar & lounge on the highest floor. Not sure if it is regular practice, but I was given a discount voucher booklet for ALL estalishments aformentioned. There's also a free gym and sauna. The room itself is really luxurious and cosy, modern minimalist design. Bathroom comes with a shower and bathtub, so you have the option for either. There are things I feel they can improve upon - the dimly-lit and backdated corridor decor outside which is in stark contrast to the rooms, and esp the elevator pass. The latter is also the room key/pass, which doubles up as the elevator pass but there seems to be a problem with its magnetic strip which often could not be read by the elevator censor. I see the same problem with other guests too.
Oh yes, and the bathroom at Level 5 looks haunted. 😕

The best part of Manhattan hotel will be its strategic location right in the CBD, making it easy to get around town. It is just 1 building away from the Kurigan City mall. And near shopping areas like Kota Casablancas, Lotte Shopping....)

Suite is cheap, place is convenient.

The suite was cheaper than that of the surrounding 5 star hotels - it was sufficient for a slightly above average stay, just don't expect to be overly pampered there. Unfortunately they also couldn't locate my initial booking - but all turned out well.

There were Cockroaches in the room. It's a shame this hotel doesn't seem to invest in Pest Control.
Room Furniture is Old and unappealing.
Breakfast had limited variety and was tasteless.
Most staff members were unfriendly and didn't feel welcome.
I wouldn't recommend staying here.

This hotel at literally the worst Wi-Fi I've seen in the past 15 years. If you need Wi-Fi do NOT stay at this hotel. It is not good in the rooms, in the lounges, or in the lobby. I can't believe in 2017 a business quality hotel could have this bad of Wi-Fi.

I travel the world teaching people how to design great Wi-Fi over 200,000 miles per year. This will now be my example in classes of how NOT to do Wi-Fi!

Absolutely the worst Hotel Wi-Fi ever!

Whomever they used for their contractor should be sent to prison for selling such garbage!

I travel the world teaching people how to design Wi-Fi for hospitals, stadiums, offices and hotels. This was the worst I've ever seen. They broke ALL the best practices.

The end user experience was excruciating, needing to put in a password EVERY, SINGLE, TIME a client device fell asleep... and the RADIUS server kept timing out, so you'd have to personally call to the front desk over, and over and over just to keep a terrible connection open.

Not the Best Hotel in Jakarta

I have found that while the room value for money is good the service really is lacking it this hotel. Unless you front up to reception in person its almost impossible to get assistance. Also I find it really strange that I am asked to may by incidentals part way though my booking totaling approx NZD100....

Good location and that's about it

Booked executive King but upon checking in they said they are fully booked and will be putting me in a princess room (way smaller
room), on exclusive ladies floor only. Surprise surprise when I step out from my room to see men coming out from one of the room.

Facilities pretty old and the toilet in the room has a foul smell - drainage sort of scent.

I was disappointed with the quality and variety of food at The Breakfast.
The server are not friendly and many of them don't know what they are doing.
Can't even make the right Omelet.
The Wifi system is so ridiculous cuz you have to keep in changing the User ID and Password from room to breakfast to lounge to business center,and did not automatically login once you entered the hotel.

The hotel is old-fashioned and worn out. air-conditioning cannot be controlled. Bathroom is dark. Plastic curtain of bath tub dissipats a bad smell. Front desk service is poor. Breakfast lacks western-style dishes. The only advantage is the shopping mall almost next door.

Hotel needs upgrading. Some of the fittings in the room needs replacement. Kettle is so worn out. Bath tub clogged.
Coffee served at breakfast area still terrible as before.
Equipment in gym room needs replacement too. Most of it not in working condition. Steam Room Sauna always out of order.

Bath was sucks i choose suites room for bath btw bath was very dirty and even when i wear bathrobe so dirty u can see the photo something red one i think that was blood then i complain to manager but he just say sorry i will say to boss and i will give u answer tomorrow he said that but i didn't get any answer i just got new bathrobe anyway even when i said to counter about change other room coz bath was dirty they said no room today but when i complain for blood one suddenly room was come out they said u can change room i think they dont know how to service to customers and i remember manager said he gonna a give to me feedback from the boss when can i get???

Quick getaway with friends

My friends and I decided to do a girls night out and slumber party during a visit to Jakarta. The hotel was conveniently located to great restaurants and entertainments. Traffic was bad, but because everything is within easy walk, we didn't mind and had a great time.

Dirty business hotel

Quite an impersonal, poorly-maintained hotel. Facilities (like bathroom door, carpet, shower curtain) are dirty. Gross. Room had musty/gross smell to it. Exterior windows were dirty. Housekeeping staff worked hard and were friendly, but clearly hotel owners have not invested in hotel in years.

Sidewalk going left out of hotel desperately needs repair and stinks of raw sewage.

The hotel has an Indian restaurant. The advantage of this is that you some Indian options in the breakfast as well. And the biggest advantage is that they have good number of vegetarian options in the breakfast buffet spread.
