Pool bottom was not very clean, the room A/C doesn’t work properly, it doesn’t shut off when reaching the desired temperature, thus wasting energy and makes it uncomfortable.

The property was just ok for a short stay. The location was good because of its proximity to the highway. The rooms are basic, did not like the bathroom setup. The AC in the room was freezing cold even though we tried to adjust it multiple times, it did not help at all.

Hotel was fine but aging. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was near the elevators and ice machine. I didn’t notice noise from the hallway but there was a noticeable vibration in the room during the night. It didn’t bother me, felt sort of like being in a cruise ship, but it was strange.

I requested a king bed and got two queens. The shower water was too hot and very hard to regulate the temperature, either too hot or just cold, but hard to find a good spot in between. I found a cockroach in the bathroom one night.
I don't plan to return. I'm surprised the Marriott chain has a hotel like this.

Only complaints are the rooms are somewhat dated and could have done better with cleanliness. I switched rooms but in my first room, the towel hook was falling off the door in my bathroom, couldn’t hang my towel on it, paint chips, poor mattress, wear and tear on the outlets and light switches, runs in the curtains. 2nd room was in better condition, but I saw the same piece of candy and wrappers on the floor in the hallway for the 4 nights of my stay. There was facial hair clippings in the sink and on the faucet.

We had a nice experience, particularly because the staff was wonderful. Front desk, bartender and cleaning staff were friendly, responsive and warm. Starbucks in the lobby was nice and the lobby itself, was very nice. The hotel has a nice pool area, plenty if parking. Our room was spacious and clean. Minor updates/renovations would make it 5 stars, but honestly, it was a wonderful stay.

I had to wait for more than one hour to get the room, and around 5:30pm, I finally got a room that was not what I booked, but I accepted it to be able to get in. The fan in the bathroom was running all the time it was very loud. Very uncomfortable.

Elevators broken, bar and restaurant not open most of the time. No lunch options in hotel, no clean towels at pool. Was scolded for taking coffee up to room from MY PAID BREAKFAST BUFFET. Room cleaning was minimal, only got clean sheets and towels, not vacuumed or trash picked up. Overall hotel needs remodel and location is not ideal.

Nice and clean. Visited in February and it was quite chilly in the evening and there’s no heat. I understand that it’s FL but no heat is absurd and that fact was not advertised. That’s my only complaint, other than that, everything was fine. Staff was warm and friendly

I was supposed to have a balcony room and the door was broken and not able to slide. So no balcony, money wasted on the room. For that I should have paid the non-balcony rate. Then the room door wasn’t working because of the battery, so I was stuck in my room and not allow to leave without leaving someone in the room

Room was clean but had no microwave to warm our leftovers. Hallways at the end of each floor leading to the pool are dirty and filled with spiderwebs. 2 of the 4 elevators were broken during our entire 5 day stay. Pool side furniture/cushions are old, stained and worn out. Hotel room door wood was badly chipped. Lobby area clean, nice restaurant. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Starbucks in the lobby was a huge plus. Just average for the price.

This was the worse Marriot I have ever stayed at. I was truly disappointed with the poor condition of the room, rude front desk Staff( Roshea or Porshea woman with red hair and glasses and the overall experience. I pan to contact the regional manager regarding several unacceptable issues listed below. I also plan to attach pictures to support my claims

1. 3 elevators out of service, had to constantly use the staff service elevator filed with cleaning carts

2. the room was freezing, no heat, was told the hotel doesnt have a heating system. They see its abnormal temps below average 45 degrees at night.

3. the room was old an outdated straight out an old 70's motel, popcorn walls and ceilings, dirty carpet( rm 1106)

4. The bathroom was deplorable, mold in the shower ceiling, spotty and sloppy workmanship on the tile molding with plaster smeared on the bottom and corners.

5. There was some kind of insect roach powder visible and scattered behind the dresser.

6. room key malfunctions

7. computer system down, staff wasnt able to see our breakfast vouchers in the system and instead questioned the validity of us having breakfast vouchers, so rude, condesending and unprofessional. This place should be called the MARRI- NOT

This hotel is not a true Marriott hotel but more so a hotel Marriott took over years ago and never updated it. This may not be factual but it was my reality. There was a major lack of common amenities. Day 1 no hot water, Day 2 no hot water and no heat (it happen to be cold this time in Florida), Day 3 lost power and systems were down. This stay was due to a professional meeting being hosted there for the weekend. The presenters had to bring their own space heater to warm the convention room. I would never stay at this hotel again. The staff kept leaving one towel for two people, please bring enough towels to accommodate the guest staying. The two positives things would be the staff was friendly and the food served during the meeting on both days was good.

Staff was awesome. I was shocked to learn that there was no heat in the hotel. It was extremely cold due to weather changes. We were issued another blanket and a heater. The refrigerator was not working so, drinks were not kept cold. But my biggest disappointment were the roaches. Once the evening hit and lights were out, they were all by the door and inside the bathroom. There were a few that made their way to the counter and drawer. This made my stay very uncomfortable. Didn't want to chance a different room as this may be a hotel issue and not specific to the room. I was also unable to get a refund from Expedia. I will not return to this hotel.

Parking was free, but hard to come by. The lobby and rooms were clean. The elevators needed maintenance and cleaning ( only 2/4 were working during our stay and there was frequently trash on the floor ). We didn’t try the food or pool, but the dining area looked nice. There’s a Starbucks in the lobby, which also seemed like a nice bonus!

When I write a review, I am very careful to state facts, in regards to issues and feelings when celebrating successes. I realize that each individual reading the review will have their own measurement of standards. The Marriot has never disappointed me, until now.
FACT: This is a pet friendly hotel. We are not currently pet owners but we do have a level of understanding & expectation management for those that bring their fur-babies on trips. We did not expect to be bitten by ticks and find them in the bed. No new room was offered just the promise of a deep cleaning. Not sure how well that went since we caught one and turned it over to housekeeping but still got bit 3 more times.
FACTS: The TV didn't work, come on, get warm nor make a sound. Simply broke.
FACTS: The bathroom vanity outlet, the nightstand USB port for a charger and a table outlet didn't work. The vanity outlet had been repaired but spray painted over it to make it look white again. (Likely why it didn't work)
FACTS: Very old in appearance, bootleg repair, damaged

The room was beyond neglected. Carpet was grimy and white particles on corner looked like sheet rock chalk on carpet. Can’t walk bare feet since felt like carpet was sticky and my feet got itchy. Broken bed frame and there’s a hole by headboard that was covered by white tape and even tape was broken also. One side outlet did not work with USB AC plug not working. Faucet had calcium deposits like it was never cleaned for months

I stay here 4 or 5 times a year, usually 3 or 4 nights each visit. The location is ideal. The breakfast is great. The room is nice. But the bathroom floor is finished so poorly, it looks like a hotel in a third world country. I paid $350 for a room where the grouting and caulking around the baseboard looks like a finger painting trial by a kindergartener. It is nasty. So, after having pointed this out many times, and only 50% of their elevators working, i believe that I was significantly overcharged and won’t return.

I just returned from 3 weeks in China, staying only in 3 star hotels. They made this Marriott look like a slum. Sad that they can’t go through and upgrade the baseboards….

Check in was fine. The room however left a lot to be desired. It was terribly outdated. The carpet was stained and dirty looking. One of the beds had spots on the sheet and bedspread cover. Overall the room felt dirty and I would never stay there again. Actually, had it not been for the charge being non refundable I wouldn’t have stayed there the night I did.

The breakfast was the best part, there was a shooting at the hotel during my stay on the floor above me, along with them shutting the water off during the late morning, afternoon hours for a little bit. The room was ok, bathroom was pretty dated. House keeping woke me up numerous times to clean my room early in the morning. My room was across from a closet for house keeping and the doors were constantly being opened and slammed shut. First and last time staying at a Marriot property.
