Great for stay before/after Eurotunnel crossing

We stayed the night before getting Eurotunnel to the UK in the morning.
The hotel is very basic, but the rooms are comfortable and spacious.
If you are traveling with a dog a suggest requesting a room on the ground floor as they have direct access to the issued which is super convenient.

Weekend break

Excellent value, modern economy hotel, with great staff who are willing to turn to anything to benefit guests. There is a restaurant that has an evening menu, but the reception failed to mention that it is closed on Friday, but Celine on Reception has many talents and rustled up nice meals for those guests reluctant to find a restaurant outside (of which there are very few around Douai which the exception of \"a table\" just round the corner. Location is on a business park out of town, so you are stuck if you don't have transport. Some tables and chairs outside would be nice for those sunny days.

Well worth a stay.

When we arrived, Celine was on the check in desk and was very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the service. Once again, very friendly. The hotel is in a very quiet location, with ample free parking and is situated just a 5 minute drive from Douai. Real value for money.

Had to,move room. Upon opening window we discovered 100's of cigarettes butts had been dumped on canopy roof, first flloor. They moved us, however the TV was not operating. Could not face moving again. To reimburse us we had our breakfast on the house. Staff were most helpful and apologetic.

Small room, very very basic and not very clean unfortunately. Bed not comfortable or good quality. Breakfast was extremely poor to be honest. Not even a sign of a vegetable. Good free parking! The hotel has the potential to be very quiet but there was a car alarm going off several times during evening/night/morning from the surrounding car dealerships :( Won’t be coming back.

Séjour bien peu reposant

A l'occasion de mon séjour du 12 au 15 mai 2024, un bruit parasite dont il m'a été expliqué qu'il tenait à un problème d'écoulement des canalisations était persistant, perturbant le sommeil toute la nuit.
Le problème a été signalé dès mon arrivé et une autre chambre m'a été proposée où le bruit, quoiqu'un peu moins important était persistant.
J'ai signalé cette difficulté et il m'a été répondu que le problème était connu et qu'une intervention était prévue, qui n'a été résolue qu'à ma troisième nuit.
Malheureusement, au petit matin de cette troisième nuit, c'est l'alarme de l'hôtel qui a réveillé les hôtes dès 8 heures, étant précisé que mon audience de la veille s'était achevée peu avant 2 heures du matin.
Bref, le séjour a été extrêmement difficile et les nuits n'ont pas été reposantes, étant précisé qu'à ces dates le prix moyen de la nuit était aux alentours de 130 €...
Si les regrets du personnel m'ont été transmis, aucune compensation n'a été proposée.
Bref, voici un séjour très décevant.

Dommage, l’hôtel est récent mais mal entretenu !

J’ai passé une nuit dans cet hôtel qui avait l’air sympathique sur les photos ! J’ai trouvé que l’hôtel est dégradé avec la salle de bains où la cuvette a fuit toute la nuit car complètement entartrée, des traces orange sur le bas dans la douche, le robinet du lavabo qui bouge, des traces nombreuses et douteuses sur les murs… Un manque flagrant d’entretien et de suivi ! Concernant la chambre, j’ai noté que les lits sont ultras légers et bougent énormément et ne sont pas stables. Sinon, le reste est correct.
Les parties communes dans les étages présentent de nombreuses tâches sur la moquette qui ressemblent à des fuites d’eau antérieures ?
Concernant le petit déjeuner, rien à dire ! Correct mais sans plus !
Enfin, le personnel, c’est vraiment le point fort de l’établissement. Attentifs, à l’écoute et efficace !

Je n'ai pas dormi de toute la nuit à cause d'un couple qui tapait les murs et criait jusqu'à 6 heures du matin. À l'intérieur, on voyait des fissures et de la peinture qui tombaient. Le dimanche, il n'y a pas de transports en commun avant 15 heures. Si on commande un taxi, la course est surfacturée...etc.

Nous sommes arrivés très tard dans la nuit et avons été tres bien accueillis.
Nous avons pu dormir tranquillement sans aucun bruit dans l'hôtel.

2 nuits passées lors d'un déplacement professionnel. L'hôtel en lui-même est agréable, ma chambre était propre et lumineuse. L'environnement immédiat n'est pas très bucolique puisqu'il s'agit d'une zone d'activité. Pour cette même raison, il est fortement conseillé d'être motorisé, sinon le taxi arrivera de Douai avec 12 € au compteur. J'ai apprécié de pouvoir me restaurer sur place, même si l'équipe de cuisine ne serait sans doute pas passée en 2e semaine de Top Chef...
L'équipement sanitaire pourrait être un peu plus qualitatif, mais il reste fonctionnel. Le personnel est agréable et disponible, ce qui est toujours apprécié.

Cette fois j'ai eu une chambre handicapé, la climatisation faisait un bruit d'enfer, obliger de l'éteindre pour dormir.
