This was perfect for us on a stop to the alps. Very clean and staff could not have been anymore helpful. Would recommend the breakfast.

Stayed one night, very nice hotel, clean, near enough to town to find a good restaurant, good range of breakfast options though no cooked hot food. No noise problem at all a we had a room not overlooking either road. Can imagine it might be slightly noisier if facing the main road but even so, good glazing should deal with that. Bathroom needs towel rails fitted because as soon as you've used a towel there's nowhere to hang it apart from one tiny metal hook high up on a wall.

Staff are very friendly. Hotel decor is old and need a revamp. Breakfast is ok and definitely not value for money. Breads did not seem fresh. They don’t have a kitchen as such, they just warm up food in the oven or microwave. Hotel bar is limited. Not kettle in the room, had to ask for it and it was quickly provided. No English channels on TV. Hotel is not value for money, quite the opposite.

This hotel is positioned between 2 busy main roads so road noise is areal negative ,we found it very difficult to sleep. We were on the ground floor so did not have a window instead we had a tilt and turn glass door when we stayed it was very hot so had limited ventilation at night the combination of heat, no air and road noise spoilt our stay. We went for an evening walk and were surprised to find 350 meters from the hotel a prison the prisoners were shouting from the windows at first we thought we were mistaken so when we got home we went on the internet and yes it was a prison so not the best of locations.

It was OK, but also my first stay in Douai. Would have to compare price to the Ibis and such for a better feeling for teh area. Nice staff and good breakfast. Rooms are a bit dated and heating so-so.

The room was very basic ,only one cup between two of us,the plastic cups we used one night from the bathroom were not replaced the next day,toilet rolls not topped up ,we had to request one from reception.the breakfast was very basic and over priced.We were asked to pay our bill on the 2nd day of our 4 night stay.Restaurants very hard to find open in the evening.definitely a 2 star hotel.

établissement choisi à l'occasion d'une participation à un colloque et pratique pour sa proximité avec le réseau de circulation et avec le centre de Douai.Très bon accueil, chambre vaste (surclassée) et confortable, petit déjeuner très correct... tout serait parfait si ce n'est l'insonorisation qui n'épargne rien des rentrées tardives et bruyantes de pensionnaires peu soucieux de l'existence des autres clients. Par contre, aucune nuisance à signaler de l'extérieur.

Belle chambre mais les murs sont fins, le voisin du dessus a laissé fonctionner sa télévision pendant deux jours très fort jusque tard le soir. L'accueil est tout à fait chaleureux, en revanche la propreté de cet hôtel l'est beaucoup moins. Rideaux de douche sale en bas (marron) il faut peut être moderniser. Aussi comme à mon habitude j'inspecte le lit en arrivant mais l'alèse est sale plusieurs tache, poils et cheveux. Aussi les couloirs sont très bruyant la nuit ça malheureusement, l’hôtel n'y est pour rien, pas très reposant.

J'ai passé deux nuits dans cet hôtel à l'occasion d'un concours que je devais passer et j'ai très mal dormi, gênée par le manque d'insonorisation... J'entendais les bruits de pas, de chasse d'eau, de douche, de conversation et de télévision, et ce, même à 23h30 et à 5h du matin. Autant dire que j'ai mal dormi... C'est dommage car la chambre est confortable et agréable avec une grande douche. Tout est propre.

Hôtel proche de l’evement familial
Nous avons été très mal accueilli lors de notre arrivée. La réceptionniste était en pyjama et nous a fait comprendre limite qu’a cause de notre arrivée tardive elle n’a pas pu se coucher tôt. Qu’il suffisait de passer nos badges sur la machine à l’entrée en l’occurrence qui ne semblait pas fonctionner correctement. Lors du check out on nous fait comprendre que MR Le Maire exige qu’on paye une taxe de séjour. J’etais Outrée d’entendre ça,du jamais vu.
