You have to be aware you need to have self check in to obtain the room number and the most importantly, bring your debit/credit card (No contactless)

The room require code to enter but unfortunately my room has some issues and need to spend 20 mins on average to login in the winter night it was quite challenging.

Double Charged for the Room

Booking paid in full at the time of booking with Hotels.com. The itinerary number was not recognised by the hotel through their automated check in, so had to call their help desk on arrival. Then we were charged the full room rate again on check in, so have now paid twice for the room. Hotels.com seen to be unable to secure a refund from the property.
This is the 2nd booking of a French hotel with Hotels.com that had been a disaster, so I will not be joining any further trips with them.

Self check in facility. I paid for the room well in advance and the self check-in counter did not let me check-in without paying again. We didn’t have any other option since it was late night and had to proceed with paying twice. Room was very small with beds literally filling the whole room and no space at all for the luggage- we are just talking about small bags not big bags.

This is clearly a hotel geared up to accommodate truck drivers and others that have no other requirement than a bed for the night close to the motorway. Almost no evidence of staff and no one to call on in the event that you have an issue. It was not a pleasant room and smelled of damp.

Family road trip a good night

What atracted us to this hotel was the room layout with the two beds upstairs above the bathroom, however, it was so small, stairs were steep and narrow, very difficult to move around, the walls were thin and we could hear people nextdoor having normal conversation. I guess it's what a budget hotel looks like, but for £10 extra we stayed in absolute luxury compared to this.

Perfect stay for a couple nights

The room was very small, but it was clean & the beds were comfortable :) The Wi-Fi was sometimes good and sometimes bad. The room has a good blackout curtain so it’s stays nice and dark, so we both slept well. Also stays cool with air con. Microwave in reception was handy and also the free parking was great. Overall I would recommend and use again.

I think it's a perfect place to stay when you are driving and not needing to worry about parking. Plenty of food places around, Mcdonalds, KFC, Burger King, Steak place La Boucherie etc. However it doesn't have AC and it was quite stuffy in the room. Opening the window was too noisy.

No kettle or hair dryer in the room.

I’m not a fan of hotels without receptionists. We arrived at 22:30 and struggled with the gate and computer check in system. The room was ok for the kids but overall cramped and not clean. Blood on the bedding! The booking was cheap so I guess we got what we paid for!

Good place. Value for money.

We asked for a quiet room and we got it. They say their beds are comfortable. They are!! The room was very small but very clean. The bathroom even smaller but the shower was excellent with plenty of hot water. Strange that they ask us to save water but do not put plugs in the hand basins.
Beware of sever traffic congestion in this vicnity between. 16-30 and 19-30.

Sour start to a good holiday due to room price

There had been a special event planned in Lille over this weekend which we knew nothing about as a consequence all hotels in Lille had upped their room prices quite considerably and even though the local Mayor cancelled the event due to the threat of terrorist activity the room prices stayed high! We did not know this and so felt badly treated both by Hotel.com and B&B hotel chain. We did complain at the time but was told there was nothing that could be done. we will check small print and prices in the future.

Clean and very basic

Went for Wales Belgium match, so choice was limited and over-priced. This hotel was a taxi ride out of Lille Centre which we factored into the cost 30-40 euros (easy to get taxis). Overall pleased with choice - basic but comfy.

My only concern was there is an automatic check in facilitywith no-one at reception. This is fine, but Expedia had not provided the correct code for the check in machine. You have to call on the intercom, and wait for them to provide the room key pad lock code. There was then a problem accepting credit cards in the machine - eventually some-one from hotel came down to sort. There was a queue at this point, and it was frustrating.
I would recommend calling hotel before arriving and confirming the check in code- with this I imagine things would be quite smooth.

We had ground floor rooms, accessed from outside (motel style). Security seemed good though, as hotel is in a fenced off lot. Shower ok. Bed good. Clean.

Happy to recommend this hotel for clean basic stay as stop over, especially looking at the next door reviews for IBIS Budget (terrible) and speaking to someone about the Foxhotel.

i was only after a bed for the night so my expectations were low. The room was very small although it was ok for what I wanted. Luckily when I went to sleep I was drunk and never got under the covers, in the morning we found bugs (small spider/insects) swarming all over the bed!

Room was as expected. The bed was comfortable enough. Unfortunately there was an air con unit that had a constant background hum even when it was all switched off - irritating if you are trying to get to sleep. Otherwise the room was remarkably quiet given proximity to a busy main road. Plenty of parking!

La chambre était en bon état mais dans la salle de bain le cache sous la douche s'enlever. Il y avait des bruits tuyauterie dans la salle de bain la nuit.
Dans l'ensemble c'est bien pour dépanner une nuit mais pas plus car pour 4 la chambre était minuscule on ne pouvait pas passer. On ne tient pas à plus de deux personnes dans la salle de bain et c'est possible que si l'autre personne est dans la douche.

Arrivée à 15h le vendredi de la braderie de Lille. Pas de personnel à l'accueil, il faut passer par les bornes électroniques à l'extérieur pour payer le séjour et récupérer le code de sa chambre. Serrure de notre chambre qui nous a donné du fil à retordre, le chiffre 2 (il faut taper le code à l'aide de touches mécaniques) ne fonctionnant qu'une fois sur 10! Bref sinon rien à dire sur la chambre, c'est du 1er prix et on en a pour son argent (petite, basique, mais propre).

J’ai passé une nuit dans cet établissement, qui m’a laissé une impression plutôt mitigée. L’hôtel est visiblement vieillissant, et cela se ressent aussi bien dans la décoration que dans le confort général. À mon arrivée, l’accueil était fermé, et je n’ai eu aucun contact avec le personnel, ce qui donne une impression assez impersonnelle. La prise en charge s’est faite via un automate, ce qui peut convenir à certains, mais reste décevant pour ceux qui apprécient un accueil humain.
La chambre, quant à elle, est petite et peu pratique pour se déplacer. J’y ai eu froid durant la nuit, et la literie mériterait vraiment d’être renouvelée. La moquette est usée et devrait être remplacée. Le Wifi ne fonctionnait pas du tout, ce qui est regrettable, surtout pour un séjour professionnel ou pour rester connecté.

La salle de bain est également très exiguë. Le lavabo, dépourvu de bouchon ou de système de retenue d’eau, oblige à laisser l’eau couler en continu, ce qui n’est ni pratique ni écologique.
Le seul vrai point positif de mon séjour reste le petit déjeuner : copieux, savoureux, et bien présenté. Un vrai moment de plaisir dans un cadre sinon assez décevant.

Les chambres ne sont pas immenses et pour ouvrir sa valise, mieux vaut il le faire sur le lit, mais on ne peut pas non plus en demander plus à ce tarif. en 8 min nous étions à l'aéroport de Genève. top!

Bjr la chambre n'etait pas très propre en arrivant et cela ns arrivent jamais. Le seule soucis que ns remarquons les femmes de ménages viennent très tot avant l'heure pour faire leurs travaillent.,elles persistent et ce permet d'entrée dans la chambre en sachant ns avons répondus qu'ils avaient qlq. Heure de départs 12h et non 10h30,.Merci de votre compréhension et que vs allez y remédié à cela.

Pour commencer quand je rentre dans la chambre énorme odeur de cannabis de quelqu’un qui en a fumé dans la chambre la veille.
Déjà très moyen mais bon…
Sauf qu’en tirant le drap, pleins de poils et cheveux et surtout une tâche d’urine accompagné de son odeur.
Malheureusement l’hôtel était complet et donc je ne pouvais pas avoir une autre chambre.
On m’a donc changé seulement le drap housse.
Le pire hôtel que j’ai fais. Heureusement que l’homme à l’accueil était là pour remonter le niveau.
