I really enjoyed my 2-night stay here. Staff was very friendly, check-in was smooth and room was nice and clean. The building itself looks like it could be in need of an upgrade soon, but that did not take away from it feeling clean and safe. Within walking distance (10 minutes) from nearly all the areas in Lille, including the train station. Would definitely stay again!

Convenient and quite a pleasant stay

Convenient, about 16 min walk from Lille Europe station and 10 min walk from Lille Flandres, and 15 min from Lille Grand Palais. Breakfast has a good variety of food, including cheese, brrad, pastry, yoghurt, etc. Staff are helpful and polite. However, the room lacks basic amenities like hot water flask, slippers, toiletries, cups, etc, though they are available at the hotel lobby. Some corners of the room have mould and were musty. The air conditioner was not cold enough (but this is understandable as it was about 25 to 28 deg C in the afternoon).

Nice breakfast, but very poor sound insulation

It was very hard getting a good night's rest due to the very poor sound insulation. We could hear doors closing (never mind slamming) not only on our floor, but the floors above and below as well. This was true of the main room door, but also internal doors, such as the toilet. Slamming doors added vibrations you could feel while in bed. Earplugs did not help. On the plus side, the breakfast is rather lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's a real shame the infrastructure is so poor, as the location is also great.

Very well located, comfortable bed and good breakfast (we were not told where or what time the breakfast was). The bedroom was incredibly small and the bathroom was so small - unnecessarily small -that one couldn't dry yourself in the bathroom.

Positives: Great price, amazing value for money. Breakfast included - very good breakfast and nice quality food. Decent hotel decor, and location very close to main town.

Negatives: A/C in the room didn’t work and window wouldn’t open so it was a bit stuffy. Reception staff was a bit odd - I was standing in queue but called the person behind me before me for some reason, maybe since the person looked local - so that was a bit odd and left me feeling quite dissatisfied. Ibis parking was full, overnight street parking is free, but through the day it’s not always possible to find spots. I parked in ‘Parking Republique’ next to the Bureau of Arts - which was convenient.

This is a clean and convenient hotel for Lille. The Eurostar station is walking distance and there is another station nearby if visiting other places which we used, very convenient for a short stay. The place is clean and the breakfast simple but good. All the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Very well located hotel, providing good value for money and convenience. Very nice breakfast area with a decent choice of items. Rooms are compct but clean. Staff were very friendly. We hired a car and parking was available nearby. There is a small car park at the hotel, but this fills up fast (no surprise as it’s much better value!) All in all a pleasant stay.

Good location for the centre of Lille

It was a good location, within easy walking distance to the centre. We were lucky to arrive in the evening and find a free parking spot nearby, not sure if there is parking at the hotel, we didn't see any. The beds were both at an angle, which made us feel like we were on a boat.

The Hotel only has 12 spots for parking and on arrival these were full. We then spent the next hour or so trying to find alternative arrangements but because of the Christmas Market everywhere seemed to be taken. We managed to get into a multi-storey later on but cost for overnight parking was expensive.
Rooms at Hotel are very small but bed was comfortable. The room is a strange arrangement and a curtain blocks off the toilet area, this curtain had blood on it.
Breakfast was decent.

For a few days this is a great hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable. Not a lot of storage but we were only there for 2 nights so enough for us. The continental breakfast is very good. You can walk to all the main sights. We definitely enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

The Hotel was lovely, the staff that I & my wife experienced were very courteous & friendly, They also were fluent enough in English to help us seeing as we speak very little French. The Bedroom while not massive more than met our needs, from a personal point of view I would have preferred a firmer bed and pillows, but I accept that is a personal opinion and wouldn't mark the hotel down for this. The only let down was the size of the bathroom, not only could you not 'swing a cat' in there you would strong to fit said cat in there in the first place, While this was not a big inconvenience for a one night stay it would have been if we were there for multiple nights. Breakfast was a very pleasant continental style breakfast.

Rooms were small but clean. Beds comfortable. Staff were excellent and extremely helpful.
Parking expensive at 15 euros per night but we were able to park close by on the road for free.

The hotel was about 10 minutes from the big shopping centre euralille and 10 from the town centre which makes it convenient. The staff were very nice. We've checked out in the morning and in the afternoon it started to rain and they were happy for us to use the toilets and just sit down in the lounge and just relax. The toilet door was a little stiff to open and close but that was nothing major.

Cozy rooms, phenomenal breakfast

Very small rooms, but this is exactly the IBIS style. Being there on a conference or as a tourist, you don't need more. The breakfast is just hilarious. I had to leave for a train early (before the official start of breakfast), they even provided breakfast for me.
The doors have real keys, not the magnetic cards that need 5 to 6 swipes to open your room.

Smallest room during out three weeks in Europe, but largest breakfast! The room was very small but we only slept in it one night. The bedding was immaculate and beds comfy. The carpet was a bit dirty and the bathroom was small but efficient. The staff was great! It will cost you 15.00$Euro per day to park, but it's a gated parking area and you can walk to everything in old Lille.

Modern hotel offering great value

We were looking for a good inexpensive hotel for just one night with buffet breakfast and comfortable room without the need to pay extra for facilities we may not necessarily require or have time to use. This is a great value hotel with very reasonable rates and has a fairly central location which was easy to find. Good continental breakfast consisting of fruits, cereals, pastries, crossaints and tea/coffee. The hotel appeared clean and tidy with attentive staff.

Handy for the city centre and the Zenith Auditoriu

Stayed here as a base to go to a concert at the Zenith Auditorium. Chose the hotel due to a mix of location. and cost. Overall the hotel was clean, tidy and practical with a pleasant bar area, great breakfast area, limited but good parking (10 euro per 24 hrs which is cheap) and helpful staff.
Breakfast (Continental) was extemely good with lots of choice, free tea and coffee 24/7 was also welcome.

The room was very small with twp single beds. Beds were very comfortable but it was difficult to swing a cat around and there was a lack of storage area and the shower room was a bit tight.

All in all, for a couple of nights it is a good deal for the price - we only slept in the room so the lack of space didn't really limit what we did. If you are only staying a night or two, want to be near the centre and do not want to pay an arm and a leg, then this hotel is for you.

I was disapointed booking a hotel that has WIFI that did not work frustrating as this is a means to plan your trip and keep in touch with family and friends not even the computer near front desk worked!

The Worst Plastic Ibis I ever seen,

About the Hotel it stated that (Beds have Select Comfort mattresses) sadly it was NOT the case as a matter of facts the worst mattress I ever slept on, after a while it tilts and then you have one side higher than the other, I complained to Reception, I was told sorry we have no any other mattress for me, for 2 nights I had the worst sleep ever, as well as that I was charged for using the Hotel phone in the Room to ring Reception Down-stairs in order to complain about the mattress, it should be called Plastic Ibis NOT Ibis Hotel

Yes, the rooms are small but overall this hotel is good value for money. Good breakfast, free tea and coffee 12 hrs a day in reception. Comfy beds. 15min walk from eurostar railway station. 5 mins walk from city centre. 3 restaurants opposite the hotel so no need to walk far in the evening after a busy day.

I was very impressed with the ibis, it's location and incredible service. The front desk staff were fantastic, no request a problem , from ordering taxis to printing boarding cards they were remarkable. Can't beat it for the price

We recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and I don't think you can get anything better for the price. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are small (particularly the bathroom), but perfectly fine if you are using the room to sleep. It was very clean, beds were comfortable and air conditioning is a great plus (especially considering the size of the room I can imagine it could get very hot very soon without it). Free wifi was fast and easy to use and the breakfast included with the price was perfectly fine. Only problem was we didn't have hot water on Sunday morning but the problem was fixed within the hour and the hotel profusely apologized for the inconvenience. Location wise was also great. walking distance to most places though nothing particularly interesting immediately around the hotel. The last plus was the secure parking at a very reasonable 24hr rate. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Lille and would recommend it to family and friends.

I was so impressed with the ibis on a recent stay in lille, great location and though the room was small it was well equipped and the best hotel bed ever. The receptionists were exceptional, couldn't have been more helpful, I was very impressed with the inclusive breakfast and the great seating area with tea/coffee facilities available all day, definitely will be back

Great FREE breakfast included with this hotel.....and the service personal and hotel itself were nice...however the rooms are TINY, and in the bathroom one can hardly turn around...We found it adequate for a nights stay as we didn't spend much time in the room anyway, only to sleep....but would not book for any longer as would be rather claustrophobic....on a longer basis....

Our double room was quite small but acceptable for the price.

Watch out for the additional hotel tax added to your bill (6.60 Euros) and the 9 Euro fee for a place in the hotel car park (only 12 places available and parking in Lille at weekends is a nightmare).

We stayed in a double room with our two year old. The room was just big enough for the bed and the bathroom only big enough for one person to stand in so not good for a baby but ok for us as we were using the room as a base. Breakfast was very good and service excellent. Kids play area downstairs and room service were useful for down times. 10 minutes walk from centre and train station. Parking very very small.

Hotel was welcoming, rooms were clean and well equipped for the rating, beds very comfortable, the staff helped us with everything from the heating controls in the room to directions and luggage storage.

The breakfasts are super especially the fresh fruit salads, there is a free hot drinks making facility in the lounge area which we made good use of.

Complimentary tea, coffee and water, excellent choice of breakfast, fresh hot bread and fresh orange juice plenty of choice of cereals fresh fruit and yogurt.

The staff were very helpfull and overall the hotel had a nice cosy atmosphere. Good childrens computer corner with games, the children loved it.
Only 5 or 10 mins walking on the flat into the center of town and reasonable rates.
