We would have scored this higher if it wasn't for the cost at the bar - 6 Euros for half pint of IPA during happy hour! This stopped us using the bar and booking breakfast.

Loved the style of the hotel - great bohemian feel. Excellent location for sight seeing.

Wonderful hotel and staff, just missed having tea & coffee facilities in the room (no kettle, tea bags or coffee) as they didn’t serve hot drinks in the hotel in the evening. And was unable to make ourselves a drink in the room in the morning.

Avoid Lille, and avoid this hotel in the worst part of town. Advertised as close to the historic district, there is nothing nearby and I genuinely regret staying here. The area is horrible and the staff busy doing nothing.

Great atmosphere and nice style of hotel. Relaxed feel with a good breakfast offering. Shame about the fire alarm at 5am but things happen. Bottled water and Tea / coffee facilities in the room would make this a 5 star review.

We enjoyed the room and location of this hotel… and that’s about it. A few annoyances with a slow check in (their internet system was down and it took over 15 minutes to pay the city tax for our stay), a deafening fire alarm that went off our first night (no communication was offered to guests and we assume there was no actual fire?), and the first night our room was cleaned we came back after a day out to discover our door was left open. There are a lot more options in Lille, wouldn’t recommend this one.

Main issue was the property advertised parking on Expedia but this was not available at check in so had to find public parking 15 min walk away.

Rooms are small but functional, clean and quiet.

Staff at the bar are friendly but unfortunately not trained in even the simplest of cocktails, so I'd recommend going for drinks elsewhere.

City centre is an easy 10 min walk away.

Eclectic comfort in Lille

Lovely laid-back easy going hotel just off Lille city centre. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were spotlessly clean, quiet, stylish and very comfortable. The breakfast was first rate and it was a lovely place to kick back and enjoy the eclectic surroundings.

The hotel has an imposing appearance overall and is nicely fitted out but the amenities and service, despite the attempt to project the hotel as hip, leave quite a bit to be desired.
For one thing, not only is there no coffee maker of any kind in the room, there is not even a water kettle. And when I asked to borrow one I was told they had none. It is one thing, for reasons of overall aesthetics or others, to decide not to equip every room with a kettle, it is quite another to not to keep a few handy just in case they are asked for, and I had to went to the bar every morning to get a glass of hot water à la Oliver Twist. The second day of our stay it started to rain, and I asked to borrow an umbrella on our way out, only to be told that they had none to lend. They did not run out of umbrellas, but just never had any to offer their guests in the event of rain in the first place. We therefore spent our first morning in Lille drenched in the freezing rain while hopping from one cover to another looking for an umbrella to buy.
On our check out day my wife bought a postcard, stamped it and requested the hotel to put it in the mail for her, only to be told that it could not be done because they did not know where they could find a mail box.
We never asked for any service out of the ordinary at this hotel. Every request we made we had made countless times at other hotels and had been met every single time.

Wouldn’t stay here again. Hotel facade lovely on the outside but lobby smelled very perfume… very cloying. Parking lot very small and limited spaces. Fitness area had no equipment. Location was convenient. Front desk staff, in particular, one woman, not pleasant to deal with.

The hotel building is phenomenal, so beautiful. The staff were helpful just a few little things would make it much better. No drawers in the room so has to leave small items of clothes in suitcase. No water or tea coffee making facilities in the room I brought my own tea bags but unable to use them. More seating for relaxing outside and in the morning it would of been nice to sit outside but all the seating was in the shaded area so too cold and not enough tables in side

J'occupais la chambre 116 ; un peu bruyante notamment avec des personnes extérieures à l'Hôtel discutant installées à une table sous ma fenêtre. Hormis ce \"point\", le séjour fut parfait avec une personnel, très courtois, très disponible, très souriant.... Je recommanderai votre établissement avec grand plaisir.
PS : il me semble avoir oublié un Tshirt blanc dans la chambre.....

Chambre quadruple pas dispo à notre arrivée donc deux chambres doubles mais chambres sans fenêtres mais juste velux (pas de vue extérieure) porte de douche cassée lit ultra dur sur planche (pas de sommier) chambres pas faites alors que demandes avaient été faites / pas de gel douche dans une des chambres (distributeur manquants)

Dyr parkering och medioker frukost

Helt okey ställe. Frukost var ok men lite väl dyr. Om man vill ha ost och kaffe så var det bra, fanns inga grönsaker eller färsk frukt. Parkering utanför på gatan fanns men kostade väldigt mycket. De ville också ha en deposition på 200 euro fast du betalat ditt rum, och det får du inget kvitto på.

Toppen hotell. Lagom promenad till centrum. Rent och fräscht. Trevlig personal. Parkeringen som tillhör hotellet var full när ni checkade in. Men gick toppen att stå på gatan utanför. Betalade med EasyPark.

Heel leuk en modern hotel. Het personeel was enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam en gaf ons telkens duidelijke en nuttige informatie. Ook de communicatie vóór aankomst was gemakkelijk.
We hebben last-minute beslist om toch te ontbijten in het hotel en zelfs een kwartiertje voor sluiting was het helemaal geen probleem om nog iets te eten. Zo goed als alles was nog aanwezig en ze lieten ons rustig ontbijten.
Ook konden we onze bagage even laten stockeren op dag van vertrek.
Hier komen we graag terug!

Check in was beetje langzaam, eerste kamer was niet 100 procent proper, andere kamer gevraagd, dat was geen probleem, hangtoilet hing los in deze kamer. Prima bed, heel goede douche. Brandalarm eerste ochtend , brandalarm tweede ochtend ! \" It was the toaster\" was de verklaring aan de balie. Enkele mensen met kinderen waren hierdoor not amused

Le lieu est superbe et le personnel très agréable. En revanche les chambres manquent de confort (matelas et oreillers vraiment pas top, pas de bouilloire/cafetiere, pas de téléphone pour appeler la réception…). Je suis arrivée dans une chambre dont la salle de bain n’avait pas été nettoyée (serviettes au sol et toilettes sales) mais on m’a immédiatement reattribué une nouvelle chambre ce qui était bien.

Habitué de Moxy, nous avons été très déçus de celui de Lille. Deux jours à se doucher à l’eau froide, un petit déjeuner si peu qualitatif qu’on a décidé de l’annuler le deuxième jour (ce que nous a validé le réceptionniste sans nous expliquer qu’il ne pouvait pas nous rembourser, nous aurions au moins pris un café si on avait su…). La réception de l’hôtel est très belle et bien décorée, le bâtiment magnifique, mais le niveau de service est digne d’un hôtel 1 étoile.
