The staff members were nice and polite. The problem was the hotel room and facilities. Stuffy, with only one very small circular window, so it was very claustrophobic for two. Minimal amenities, no complimentary water, no fridge and no kettle. It was just like a student hostel, but only slightly cheaper than other hotels in Lille, so we regretted our choice. We have stayed in Ibis hotels elsewhere, but have rarely felt so uncomfortable.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, when asking for an early breakfast (5.45am) before check out they had already had the whole breakfast room set up for us not just a packed pastry to take with us as I expected, a lovely extra touch. The hotel has a brilliant location right in the centre of the old city. Close to great restaurants and bars. The rooms are a bit small but not a problem, and bathroom is modern with good showers. The bed was a bit hard and the mattress kept sliding off, which actually is quite funny. My only complaint was we got eaten alive by mosquito's as we kept the window open at night ( this was in October!).

Great stay. Comfortable bed. Good space In room to unwind. Location is great which is what we chose it. Parking was reasonable and about 8-10 minute walk. Breakfast was great for the price eat as much or little as you like. Breakfast room we saw was a little cramped if you have a pushchair or need high chair for a little one. Not sure if there was another room nearby. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble.

However our room was very narrow with the toilet at one end of the room and the sink and shower at the other. So you had to squeeze passed the bed every time to was your hands!

We picked this hotel for its convenient location to the town centre. Parking in a large underground car park was a short walk away and we were able to walk easily to all the nearby Christmas attractions and the new concert hall, as well as to the station for a short day trip. The hotel was happy to keep our suitcases on departure day until we returned. We heard some street noise during the night but this was to be expected in a city centre. The breakfast had to be paid for separately, and was continental buffet style with a reasonable choice of items.

We choose this hotel due to its location, it was at he city centreabd perfect for exploring. However we were very disappointed with the bed in the hotel. It was very uncomfortable due to being so hard and what o can only put down to a terrible mattress. The room was extremely small for two people as well.

Bokked this October with Expedia: room at the top and at the back, very small but the thing we will remember are the ?mosquitoes - yes in October. Die Empfangsdame war super freundlich, sie hat auch deutsch gesprochen und bei Fragen gerne geholfen. Die Lage ist perfekt. Die Putzfrauen waren morgens auf der Etage so laut, dass wir jeden Morgen leider aufwachen mussten. Die Zimmerausstattung war leider schlecht und veraltet. Wir haben ein schlechtes Zimmer im Vergleich zu den anderen bekommen.

Cela fait 3 ans que je viens une fois par an dans cet hôtel. A chaque visite je suis déçu un peu plus. Cette fois la couette était arrachée et une ampoule cassée.
L’hôtel se fait vieillissant, pas de prise à côté du lit. Le téléphone charge donc dans la salle de bain.
Le seul point positif c’est que, en trois ans, l’hôtel vieillit plus vite que moi. Me voilà rassuré.
