Room needed some maintenance, ie. Side light not working, cracked mug, dusty radiators, shower rail and towel rail required securing. All worked but a little care goes a long way. Coffee, milk and black tea required in room not just mint tea and sugar.

Firstly they hacked their booking system and my personal information were stolen. Then our room was dirty (hair in the shower, spot on the linen, bin with someone else rubbish). We complained and the gave us an “upgrade”. From the new room we could hear the television of the room next to us and people passing on the corridor. Amenities very old. Only plus that you are next Westfield shopping center and the train station - that’s it.

The hotel or one of their neighbors is under construction. I was awakened at 745 am by incessant drilling. Plus any room near an elevator will hear dinging all the time. Im not sure if it was guests or hotel security, but, I was awakakened by elevator noise around 2am. Noise also from street below. Sewer smell from bathroom. On the plus side, they found me a room at 11am. A handicapped room though. I think they have only 1 maid. I saw people in the lobby waiting a long time for a room. Good location. In between the two train stations and in a mall.

This hotel is basically a travelodge so book knowing that. There's no aircon (despite Expedia saying there is). There are notes in the loft saying it's installed but not functioning yet. There are oscillating fans in rooms.

The staff here were excellent and very friendly. Currently in the process of putting air-con in the hotel but a large fan provided in the room. A lot of dust in the room, but I guess you get what you pay for, overall for the money it was definitely worth it.

Everything was great except the room was very hot. There is no air conditioning in the room. There is building site noise going on throughout the night and therefore it was a compromise of have my sleep disturbed by noise (with a small improvement in cooling down of the room) verses a really hot environment and a very restless night.

It was almost like the room wasn't finished being serviced. The soap dispensers were almost depleted and there was no hand towel as well as a few hairs scattered throughout the bathroom.

Excellent location for railway stations and shopping. Only a short walk to the old town. Modern hotel, clean and with good facilities including a bath and a fan. Could be improved by putting a charging socket on both sides of the bed, changing lumpy flat pillows and supplying a second luggage rack. Staff at reception rather mixed in their attitude.

A good, cost-effective choice
This is a good, convenient place to stop off if you have a train to catch from either of the two Lille stations (both just a few steps away); it's also just a short walk into the centre. My room was pretty comfortable, the only problem being the bed mattress which was one of those two-part affairs with a tendency to split apart in the middle. For this reason I didn't sleep brilliantly.
No air-conditioning so the rooms might be a bit hot in summer weather - but there was a rotary fan in the cupboard.
Very nice breakfast, though, with some interesting choices on offer. The quince jelly, for instance was a nice surprise.

On the plus side: hotel well situated, not as expensive as some others, cleaning staff friendly and do good job. Noise-wise good, not disturbed during the night. On the negative side: staff at reception bored, indifferent, almost rude, especially the young woman on duty during the day. It looked like a titanic effort for her even to say Bonjour or look up. She should definitely find another job she's happier in. Evening staff friendlier. Door to bathroom (slide door) was really hard to open/close as kept getting stuck on carpet. Meant couldn't fully close door when using bathroom unless somebody there to help move it afterwards from other side. Bath one stands in to have shower was incredibly slippery. Unfortunately there was no shower mat, handle in the wall or even texturing of the bath surface so had to be really careful not to slip over.

This hotel is a 5 minute walk from The two main railway stations and a pleasant 15 minutes walk from the Grand Place. Reception staff were courteous and friendly and efficient. Also take public transportation have all the restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Convenient location if you are doing a quick trip through Lille. Right by the major train stations and a large mall. Was pretty active and noisy but if you’re looking for a spot to be able to get to the trains quickly the next morning and are not spending too much time at the hotel, I would definitely recommend.

This hotel is a great choice if you are traveling by train. Functional rather than luxury but nothing to dislike. Large room, clean, comfy. I had everything I needed, felt safe and secure. Staff on desk cheerful, even late at night. Have stayed before and will do so again.

Room comfortable but lacked air con, a must for warmer months as streets too noisy to sleep if window open. Kettle in room was great to see but only had herbal tea bags. I asked at reception for coffee sachets, they said don’t have any but can get coffee at breakfast which was €13.50 ea. I managed to get 2 normal tea bags but they didn’t have any milk to give me! We didn’t want to have breakfast just to get a coffee. Toiletries in bathroom was actually only shower gel/shampoo combined and hand soap.
