We put the sign out for house keeping but sign was ignored. Upon returning to hotel had to go and advise reception and get some items required.

Overall a good stay for a city break

Overall a comfortable stay
Some elements of the hotel are great, some are a bit dated and in need of an uplift.
Breakfast was okay, a bit limited but fine for a couple of days. Location is good, close to the centre but a bit quieter.
Comfortable bed, good size room.
Noise from the stairwell at night was an issue.
An issue at breakfast when we went down just after 9 with no hot food being available and having been stopped even though breakfast finished at 9:30. Luckily a member of staff cooked some for us, we just had a bit of a wait for it.
Overall a good stay for a city break

The hotel is qalking distance from the train station and shopping centre.
The rooms is small but has a kettle and teas that you can use.
It does need a good paint job and modernising. Thecarpet in the corridor needs a good clean and walls need painting.
The staff were very friendly and helpful

Unclean, unhelpful.

My room was unclean when I arrived--there was food and trash on the floor and one of the towels was visibly filthy, though the bed and all other aspects appeared to have been made up and cleaned. I would have overlooked this, but in addition, the hotel staff was wholly unhelpful when I required breast milk storage--after 1 day they told me they couldn't store any more, and did not offer any alternatives, suggestions, or even allow me to check out and receive a refund for the remainder of my trip.

Staff were friendly and helpful, Hotel a good 20 minutes from the centre in a more residential area with nothing else around. No tourist information leaflets available in the hotel. Rpms are quite small and the bathrooms are even smaller with the hot water extremely hot, shower very small. Breakfast was quite poor with items running out and staff having to be asked to refill items and then being told there is nothing left to refill the missing items - this was not acceptable.

Great little hotel

We only spent one night but the hotel had everything we needed, including parking on the premises. While the hotel is not in centre Lille, it is in close proximity of it, so we could walk there. If I wanted to be picky, some items require updating like the shower room, one of the mattresses was too soft and one handle was missing from the window. In any case if the price is good I would definitely stay again next time for hopefully a longer stay.

we went to park in the car park , and a member of staff told up to go out or the car park and they have another place to park. This added on half an hour ....and we ended up back at the same car park for someone else to tell us parking was available.

The walls are thin can hear everything in other rooms.

The first night we were put in a room that was tiny, and the only thing double about it was the bed. It looked nothing like the double room pictured on the Internet. We did get moved to a more appropriate sized room on the second day. The hotel was hard to find, because if you miss a turn up what looks like an alley, you end up back on thev autoroute and have to double back and try it again.

Very reasonable value for money

This was just a single nights stay for a quick mini-break. We found the hotel to be just perfect value for money. It was clean and neat & the staff were friendly & accommodating. The hotel is located a little bit out of the main town centre, but is still perfectly walk-able, about 10 mins or so. The facilities are basic & there are no frills, but it was perfectly clean & comfortable for a 1 night stay - no disappointments or troubles at all.

Do not book here

Terrible even for a budget hotel. We booked one night at this hotel as an overnight stop before we boarded our ferry at Dunkirk. The place was in a rough area on the outskirts of the city and it did not feel safe walking around there at night. The room itself was your average basic budget accommodation - at a glance. However the room stank of sewage, the beds were uncomfortable and the room had no air conditioning. Due to this we only managed 3 hours sleep until the stench and the heat became unbearable. So it didn't even serve its purpose as a place just to rest our heads. Lille itself is a perfectly nice city. If you want to book somewhere but don't want to spend too much i would recommend any other budget brand of hotel. Just not this one.

This hotel is not too far from the train station and it is about a 20-walk to downtown. Staff was nice and helpful, the room was small but comfy and it was nice to be able to park for free in their parking lot

Hotel is in a run down area of Lille and has seen better days.
No air conditioning or fan, window opened but lots of mosquitos about :-(
The stairs were a death trap with no lights too - room was small and boxy and bed uncomfortable.
Would not recommend staying here!!

A little apprehensive as when we arrived two buckets were in the foyer collecting water from the ceiling and stayed throughout our stay. Great little hotel as a stopover, 20min walk from the main town centre. Food expensive so didn't dine but family room was great value for money.

Unexpected visitor in middle of night!

Checked in and the hotel was not what we were expecting but it was our last night on our journey home so continued with booking. The thing that disturbed us the most was one of the hotel staff opening our room door around midnight, then seeing that we were sleeping and shutting it immediately. We were frightened to say the least! I called the front desk and he confirmed he had opened our room in error. But what is hotel staff doing by opening rooms in the middle of the night anyways? The hotel was completely vacant. Found this very disturbing and unsettling and it is in a very shabby area of Lille anyways. Would not stay again!

The lift/elevator was out of action during our stay. We had to drag our cases up and down the fire escape stairwell as this was the only way to reach our room. Although there was a light in the stairwell, the switch was not easy to find in the dark.

The shower fixture and the hand basin sink drain in our room were both broken. The towels looked very old and grey, and the carpet was not clean. The shower curtain needed replacing.

The hotel was one of the better ones we stayed in in France. If there happens to be an Algerian man at the front desk, you will be taken care of very well. I forgot his name but he kept the hotel lobby bar open for us way past the time it was supposed to close and his hospitality was the best we came across in France.

Fine at the price

The hotel is perfectly acceptable for what it is, a cheap stay where the hotel isn't the thing. Everything is adequate: tissues in the bathroom might have been nice, as might a bit more space. The shower head also had had a bit of its normal mounting snap off: not ideal but unimportant. If there's one thing to quibble it's the location, which, being on foot was a bit unpleasant in the final approach to the east of Where It's At.

Breakfast is fine as is service at the desk. Everything manages to be satisfactory without anything standing out as really good or bad.

The hotel is showing signs of being run down. The stair well was unlit and very dark. The rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable although there was only one hard chair so the only place to sit was on the bed. The staff earned mixed reviews with some of them being very good and some hopeless even when we asked for something in French.

Maps can be inaccurate.

Comfort Hotel was comfortable. If it had tea making and fridge it would be better. Clean and quite. However, I wanted to walk to the Hotel from the station. Map did not indicate the road works going on. So I walk around for 90 minutes to get to a Hotel close to the station. I found the next morning that going through a park was the quick way. Only 15 minute walk to Lille Europe Station. I liked the room and the staff helped me with my tours.

We pulled up and thought \"what have we booked ?\" the hotel is in a really rundown, dodgy area and it didn't look like the kind of place we would want to stay (even for just one night) - but then you park in the secure carpark and go into the hotel and its like another world. The hotel is very clean and smart and the room we had was ideal for a family of 5.

The hotel is located in what looks like a run-down area of Lille, with nothing much around the surrounding area. After we checked in to our family room we came down to get some food in the hotel restaurant (menu's outside and inside) to be told that the 'kitchen is closed today' which no explanation given. The reception staff told us the only place we could get food which was walkable was a kebab shop down the road so we had no choice but to do that. Very disappointing. We then got back to the hotel bar to get a drink (my mum just wanted a coffee and dad a beer) to be told by the same staff that the hotel bar was also closed and we could not get any drinks. The room was decorated in bright yellow and extremely old fashioned. Bathroom tiny-a very small square shower; but no hooks to put towels on and you cannot help but soak the floor showering. The bed was at least reasonably comfy and the room clean but no air-con so very stuffy. All in all we were very glad to be checking out and that it was only a stop-over! I am not somebody to moan but this was not the cheapest hotel which is why I was so disappointed. Could not recommend it.

Food offered at this hotel was just superb and the price was quite reasonable.The hotel needs to be more flexible with their bed making times, specially if guests are staying for a number of nights. Our beds were not made on one day and on another they seemed to be just covered. Not a great way to welcome tourist on their way back from a long day out. Other than that the food and the staff at receoption were just great.

Interesting neighbourhood being 'regenerated' as all around are new developments, the benefits of which seem to be passing most residents by. The area has the feel of a small rural village where bed-time is 7:00pm or sunset, whichever comes last - the boulangeries were open longer than the local bars and there was nowhere except kebab shops and a mobile friterie to get something to eat. Despite that the neighbourhood However, within a 10 to 15 minute walk the Old Town of Lille - just beyond the brand new hotel/Casino development - was laid out, with eateries much in evidence around the area doninated by Gare Lille de Flandres. Shopping - looked good, if any of it had been open. In fact over the Sunday and Monday of Easter 2011 the place was basically closed for business apart from the afore mentioned brasseries and sandwich shops; ironically the Office de Tourisme was open and doing a roaring trade in selling the maps that are usually given away for free, souvenir chocolate bars with Lille branding and tickets to Belgian Grand War sites/towns such as Ieper/Ypres - might be better to stay there than Lille, I have and loved them.

The hotel itself was modern and functional, the staff friendly and helpful - not helpful enough to keep the doors open until much after 9:30 - but its very much a Euro-style franchise. The bar was non-functional etc., etc. As a base to get some sleep, and a shower though its near perfect. I would actually stay again

Goed hotel, schone (kleine) kamers. Badkamer met regendouche. Het hotel is met de auto prima te bereiken en heeft gratis parkeerplaatsen. Het is ongeveer 5 minuten lopen naar metrostation Coulier. Van hieruit kun je naar het centrum maar ook rechtstreeks naar stadion Pierre Mauroy.
Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, kleine bar en prima ontbijt. Aanrader voor concertbezoeken!

Chambre de taille normal, après nous sommes venu sur Lille pour la braderie pas pour passer notre temps à l'hôtel, certes il faut un minimum la rien à redire, nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Le petit déjeuner en forme de buffet top il y en a pour tous les goûts salé sucré, de plus le week-end il y a quelques produits en plus comme du pain perdu, j'ai adorée. Merci à toute l'équipe

Le fait de pouvoir disposer d'un parking gratuit est l'élément qui m'a incité à réserver cet hôtel. La chambre est petite. Il n'y avait qu'une chaise alors que nous étions 2. La salle de bain est petite mais fonctionnelle. Le gel douche/shampooing mis à disposition sent très bon !
