A little disorganised on the front desk and not sharing mealtimes etc, but room lovely. Odd to have a toilet separate from the shower and washbasin, but was fine. Would stay again if we were in town

We had a good two night stay at Hilton Lille in December.

The location is practical when arriving with Eurostar with luggage as it is one minute away from the station. The city centre with the shops and restaurants is about 15 minutes walk from the hotel. The only place close by where you can eat close by is Le Barbier chi fume. There is no mini market in the area.

The people at the reception were friendly and always helpful, even though there was often a long queue to speak with them.

The room was big for French standards. We stayed in room 906. There was a busy road outside we didn't hear any noise, so they had a good sound insulation. There was a good amount of storage space. There was a kettle, a coffee maker, and an empty mini fridge.

The maintenance of the room was not satisfactory. We had an empty shower gel bottle and an empty body lotion bottle in the bathroom. We mentioned that at the reception and they got the shower gel bottle refilled but not the body lotion bottle. The coffee pods were not replaced for the second day but we did not complain about that as we did not need to make coffee in our room the second day. The small towels were taken away after the first night but not replaced. When I told at the reception and they organized them to be replaced. One of us put some used feminine hygiene products in the bin in the bathroom the first day, but the bin did not get emptied during our stay.

The breakfast was good and as can be expected at a Hilton hotel.

This one of the quietest hotels I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. When I was in my room I could not even hear a door open or shut on my floor. It was an amazing and restful stay. The staff was extremely accommodating of my limited French, for which I was grateful. Wonderful location close to trains. I would stay there again.

This hotel is in a fabulous location for Eurostar - it is opposite the station.

The room was spacious and equipped with tea/coffee making facilities as well as fresh water daily. Even though it was located opposite the station, it wasn’t noisy at all. If I had one grumble, there was a dirty mark on the bed linen but everything else was very clean.

We had a lovely breakfast in the morning: a good selection to suit all as well as a coffee pod machine and various teas. We ate quite early and it never seemed too busy. We didn’t use the restaurant for an evening meal so couldn’t comment on that.

Staff were always very helpful and friendly but they were busy and weren’t always available straight away.

The location is great for the station and also if you wanted to walk into town for the Christmas market, metro or local places of interest to visit.

Overall I would recommend for a stay in Lille.

The hotel offers comfortable accommodations with well-appointed rooms. However, there are several significant shortcomings.
The temperature control in my room did not maintain the set temperature and remained uncomfortably hot. The maintenance staff advised that no improvement was possible.
Breakfast was also disappointing.
The limited food selection was poorly presented, with most containers nearly empty, and what remained was of poor quality, wasn't fresh and tasted awfull.
Two of the three coffee machines were out of order, and the disorganized crowd attempting to find whatever crops were left created an unpleasant atmosphere.
Overall, while the hotel itself is adequate, the experience was undermined by these issues. I would recommend having breakfast elsewhere.

Stayed one night in our way back in to Britain. Nice reception, staff were lovely, room was dated. Lift was very hard to find and not at all signposted for going down.We ended up in the basement down the back stairs. Luckily we met someone who showed us the way. Didn't have breakfast as catching the early Eurostar

The property description said it had parking available. Well there is no parking at the hotel, you have to park in the train station and walk there. This added a lot of time to checking in and leaving. The parking is not that far away but still takes time. I paid extra for a city view but it’s a con, there was no view, just of the street and building right in front. Breakfast was not great. The room was modern and it’s close to the train station.

I enjoyed my stay here. It’s a very nice hotel. The rooms are in great shape. The bed was comfortable. The hotel itself felt very high end to me. The staff were kind and very helpful. For those that don’t speak French, like myself, they were able to help me in English. Greatly appreciated. I will stay here again next time I find myself in Lille.

Good location opposite Euro Lille station. Comfortable good size rooms, fresh linen daily. Check in/check out was quick.

Breakfast is decent but no variety. Everyday is the same.
Cleaning staff often don't replace hand towels after ckearing soiled ones
Safe battery dead. Requested to fix..5 days later nothing was done. I think Hikton can do better.

However, don't think a Nescafé coffee sachet good enough for this type of hotel (luckily i brought my own coffee bags) and didn't like the hand held oddly shaped shower; also found the shower tray slippy when the water initially hit. But slept well and didn't hear the traffic which was good.

Great hotel part from the fact I had a terrible experience as when I returned the hotel has looked me out of my room ..it then transpired that they thought I owed them money as I was down as the previous guest and they had mixed my room up with someone else’s ..this was midnight so I wasn’t in the mood for 50min games and the reception guy was addimant …

Just over the road from the station, so very handy for early starts and also not having to go far on arrival at Lille Europe (it's visible as you leave the station). Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was a bit bland and lacking atmosphere, but I don't suppose people stay there for that. The only weakness was the poor WiFi - at a Hilton, I'd expect it to be better

We liked that the Gare de Lille Europe and a huge shopping mall were across the street from the hotel. The restaurant was good for breakfast lunch and dinner. Our room was quiet and the beds comfortable. We could have used hand bars in the shower as the shower was slippery. I purchased a tapis de Bain which worked well.
All the staff were friendly and helpful. A very enjoyable stay!

We spent a night in an executive room with a rolled out sofa bed. The bed was creaky, the carpet and the toilet were stained. The bathroom is a glass cube sitting in the middle of the room, I didn’t love it as I was traveling with my daughters and would have enjoyed more privacy when showering.
The staff was very nice and efficient and the breakfast offers were varied. Extremely convenient, could not be closer to transportation and restaurants. So overall a mixed bag.

The AC did not work. We tried, the staff tried. There was no air coming out at all. The room was miserably warm and uncomfortable.
The bathroom was not private. Ok if traveling with a romantic partner. The glass around the shower was not all frosted.

Nice hotel with great view of the city. Unfortunately the hotel is in the middle of some building works which meant some of the facilities were not available e.g Gym. Not sure if it was connected by the windows were a bit grubby and there were some marks on the carpet. Minor things just, beds were comfy and breakfast great.

Friendly staff, great location for Eurostar and spacious room. Definitely needs to be updated. Everything in the room looks so dated and worn. No coffee machine, just a kettle with a few sachets of instant coffee and tea, plus 2 tiny bottles of water. Only 1 dressing gown and 1 pair
of slippers for 2:people. The worse thing is the shower drain as the water does not flow quickly down it and fills the bath up. Doesn’t feel like a 4 star hotel!

It was right by station,airy , very clean , rooms large and comfortable, bath large , bed very good .
Reception very good especially evening person who went to considerable trouble to help us with our restaurant request- tall man with a lot of nice hair my wife says!
Barman friendly and pleasant also.

The hotel is excellently located opposite the main train station where the Eurostar arrived. The area was very quiet and also within walking distance to pretty much everything we needed to see so we walked everywhere and never needed public transport.

The lobby of the hotel was pretty and welcoming.The people at reception are wonderful and friendly. The room was nice and the bed very comfortable. We would stay here again.

The bar tenders seem reluctant to provide any service. One flat out refused to take any food order. The restaurant only opens at 7pm and usually has no staff in it anyway. Next option is to walk to the nearby Westfield mall for a Burger King.
The free bottles of water are nice but only are provided once. We did ask for some more because the air was so dry and they gave us 3 bottles each so that was great.
Breakfast is okay and buffet style. Bed was comfortable. Location is convenient for the train but the surroundings are rubbish. Also note that Ubers will not stop at this hotel and instead stop down the road outside the Novotel.

But I did object to being told I had to pay 50euros which, although it would be refunded, was required to set against any room service etc or damage. I made a fuss and the requirement was waived.

When the hotel evacuation (fire) alarm system was activated by tobacco smoke in a guest’s room, we hurriedly fled and rushed to the lobby only to find the the alarm was being canceled. The hotel staff was obviously ill prepared (trained) and offered no explanation, apology or empathy for the gross inconvenience experienced. Upon checking out the following morning, the front desk staff on duty treated the incident as a normal occurrence while expressing no concern whatsoever.

As the hotel is a member of a reliable international hotel chain, you’d expect more professionalism… the lack of training and pompous stance taken were a sad surprise.

I have stayed in a good few Crown plazas, bur this by far the worst. The staff were ok, but not very helpful, the room was dated, but by far the worst point was the breaskfast. One morning there was hardy anything left, and every morning it was a poor selection and cold. There seemed to be one salt shaker between 15 tables, and cups tsn out for tea and coffee, dont bother paying the 10 euros, go across the road to the train station or the mall!!!
Oh and check out were to park, as the car park below the hotel is very expensive, 87 euro for 3 days, will not be returning to this hotel.
