We booked the hotel as it had twin rooms. And we had come for the Braderie. It's in a good Central location and is easy to walk to most places in the central part of Lille. Rooms are small but clean and comfy and sound proofing was very good. Staff were outstanding, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Big shout out to the reception staff who were super helpful - especially John at breakfast who was quick to fill up empty stations and very kindly brough me a boiled egg when I asked if they had any. Would stay hete again if twin rooms were needed.

A warm welcome and continued excellent service from the staff. We stayed during the Braderie and although the location of the hotel was extremely busy, the rooms were quiet. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

I'm in a wheelchair. The pavements in the immediate area were uneven. Building works restricterd the available width. Beggars sitting on the pavements left limited room to pass.

Breakfast foods ran out quickly and were slow to be refilled/replaced.

Otherwise a truly excellent hotel which I would recommend to anyone.

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We were able to store our bags and were allowed to stay in the reception while waiting for our train back home.
We didn’t like the location, it does not have the best atmosphere and quite far from all the attractions. Hotel structure is also disappointing. Reception area is nice/recently renovated. However, the corridors and rooms are dated with poor decor. The bathroom (specifically the toilet) was not clean. Breakfast was also disappointing: bad coffee (from a machine), a lack of traditional local products, no fresh sliced fruit (though some whole fruits available). Having read the good reviews about breakfast we expected a bit more.

Our bedroom was very cold. The heating did not work. We were given a convection heater to take the chill off.
There was no hot water to shower, in the evening nor in the morning.

Hotel in excellent location, easy to locate with good spacious underground parking (be aware, extremely tight getting around the bends.)
Staff very welcoming, helpful and friendly on our arrival and throughout.
Room great, ok size, great shower. Forgot my shampoo & conditioner, always dumfounded as to why some hotels only provide shampoo yet, no conditioner, not a huge deal just for awareness 😊
1st morning at breakfast nightmare, you have to guard your table with your life when it's that busy, we had someone just plonk themselves on our table with their breakfast and everything! As we only had drinks on the table, he moved them out of the way and carried on eating regardless. (I told him he was rude and managed to find another spot). There were no coffee cups or staff to be seen for about 10 minutes however, all was back to normal with a full stock and staff. Fresh produce was still being brought out and it was really nice. Needless to say we worked out that the best time to go down, would be around 0945 /10:00. Unless you're a v early riser I believe it's also quiet between 7 & 8...
The entry door of the carpark was broken for the whole weekend, it was fixed by the time we checked out but, we paid for secure parking which we did not receive therefore I shall be sending an additional concern to HIExpress.
We also expressed our concern at reception who did explain what had happened.
Overall, a great stay ..v clean & stylish hotel.
(Buy water from the shop!)

The water in both the shower and basin was uncontrollably scalding hot. The receptionist, when informed, could not have been more helpful and things improved. Rather a grubby area of Lille, which is undergoing a huge amount of roadworks, with many roads closed. The underground car park is a huge bonus

The area didn’t feel particularly safe although it was close to the centre. The a/c didn’t work, the room was on the small side as was the bed. The entry and exit to the car park were very very tight. In other hotels we’ve stayed in during this trip we were able to make hot drinks in the breakfast area for free but we had to pay here. The lady at check in was very friendly and super helpful. Checkout was quick too

Unfortunately the air con was out of action during our stay, but they were courteous enough to tell us in advance and compensated us with free parking and a fan to take into the room, so all is forgiven!

Really great location for seeing Lille. We went for the Olympics so needed a transport route which was very easy to get to. Walking to town was also very easy and very near beaux-arts museum for a great day out. Breakfast was OK but handy to have this available. We liked having the bar as well for an end of evening drink

Basic accommodation & no clothing storage space for anything more than 2 nights. Bathroom required a good clean especially around the shower area, toiletries a good addition. Breakfast very basic, more fat on the bacon than meat. Sunday morning breakfast room totally overrun, too many guests not enough food, condiments.

Parking tight for small SUV. Staff member very helpful in recommending the Opera house car park, which was a similar price and easier to access.

Overcharged on arrival. This was corrected and refunded without issue at check out. Rooms were nice.

Breakfast was okay, however the items didn't taste that fresh. There was a good selection. Good coffee machine. Good to have water fountain on all time. Clean lobby and breakfast area. Hot food was good, however, scrabbled egg not refilled so was old and not enough left for us all to have. Cut fruits would have been nice.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had a bar and a TV w/ seating area in the lobby. My friend got a bug bite, but I'm not sure it was bed bugs. No real closet, just a rod with some hangers. Sort-of sketchy neighborhood, but right next door to grocery and vey short walk to underground and Palace of Fine Arts. This is not the bar/restaurant quarter.

This hotel is located 1 block trom a major metro station and the edge of the pedestrian zone in downtown Lille.
The hotel is in good shape, with very friendly staff. Breakfast is standard French continental. Staff cleaned me room each day, unusual in these post covid times. My room was very comfortable and being mid November, i didnt getnto see how well the a/c worked, but heating was perfect. I could crack my window open for fresh air.
Bathroom had no door on shower, as common in France, so you have to be careful about overspray onto the floor. Parking, 14 Euros per night, is under the hotel in a VERY narrow garage. I had a european SUV and it barely fit. Think 12 pt turns to get unto and out of stalls and up the exit ramp. And I am a very experienced driver. Not convenient if you have business on outskirts of town and just want to stay downtown. But i wanted to see the city so worth the traffic and parking effort. Lille has a great holiday atmosphere and the Santa Clause village a couple of blocks away was nice with good food. Many restaurants and high end shopping within easy walking distance. Would stay again.

The parking costs 13 euros per day, is super narrow, but located directly beneath the hotel. The only improvement I could suggest is that there could be more choice for breakfast, particularly to cater for anyone with a common allergy, such as dairy products; there was no non-dairy milk available for the cereals, of example. .

We have just returned from a four night stay at this hotel Check in was very quick. Information on breakfast times and location of hotel very good. The staff were very friendly. We were on the sixth floor and our room near the lift. The room was a very good size. Bed very comfortable. Plenty of hot water. My only grumble would be that there were no shelves or drawers to put your clothes. There was only a hanging rail with half a dozen hangers. This did not detract from our stay. The hotel is very close to all attractions. A 10 minute walk from Westfield Euralille shopping centre. The staff were really helpful and pleasant at all times. We would use this hotel again if we returned to Lille

The Goodbye Tour

Our second accommodation and this time for two nights, the hotel reception staff were very friendly and helpful, our check in was quick and efficient. The room was clean and fresh smelling. Housekeeping kept the room replenished with the stuff we had used. Breakfast was self service and consisted of a cold continental meats, cheese, fresh fruit and pastries. The location is central and within walking distance of most things, the car parking is underground and we found secure. There is a small bar in the hotel which is fairly priced.

Hotel staff were great. Room reeked of nicotine, even though it was a non-smoking room. Perhaps the previous guest or cleaner is/was a smoker. Room could do with a thorough deep clean & maintenance. Although daily items like sheets & towels were spotless, the office chair was very stained. There were some ingrained stains in the bathroom. No soap at the skin; on either day, the lock on the room door didn't work.

The receptionist was helpful & friendly, there was parking (surcharge) but not suitable for BIG vehicles & it was close to restaurants & bars. On arrival we were met by a very helpful lady who booked us in quickly, advising us of the safe secure car parking, breakfast times and the best areas to look at for food, over the weekend she also advised on local areas of interest.
The room was clean and tidy, a nice large walk in shower with plenty of hot water, the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was the normal continental breakfast which was constantly topped up.
The area around the hotel, well just get out and experience it, we walked 15kms and still found things to enjoy.
We will use this hotel when we come back later this year.

Well positioned. 20 min walk from Le Gare Lille Europe(5 mins Metro 1€). Stroll to most areas in 15 mins. Looks a little rough on arrival but quiet area. Lovely clean chain hotel. Room small but quite the norm in French cities. Staff polite and friendly. Only downside was temperature hit 28, and even with air con at 16, it rumbled away all night with no effect. Breakfast here is included which was an unexpected bonus. I would use this hotel again, based on value, location and cleanliness.

The hotel is showing signs of being run-down. In comparison to the other hotels of the same company, they have been of better standard but this one was not of the standard I expected. The service was good but its the room that makes the overall impression and thats where this hotel was lacking.

Rooms are basic and the size is not at all like it shows on the wide angle lens photos. We offered to pay for an upgrade to a bigger room but there were none - all rooms are the same. I think this is fine if you are in a double but with twin rooms the space is very limited. There is also no storage - half a dozen hangers and no drawers so we had to live out of our suitcases.

The bathroom is nice - if only the hot water had worked (we stayed three nights and only had hot water on one morning). On check out we said about this again (we had called in the morning) and the receptionist told us that it was back on - that didn't help at all as we had a train to catch, which she didn't seem to understand.

The air con didn't work (it was lit up but nothing seemed to happen) and the windows are restricted to being opened just an inch - we found it to be very hot in the warm weather.

Breakfast offering is good and plentiful (try the speculoos spread if you've never had it before) though service at breakfast was a bit slow topping up cutlery and tidying up.

Cleaners didn't fold towels or replace the dirty cups with clean ones (the lines from our previous cups of tea were still there). Basic is the word here!

It's a short walk to the centre. Not that far but it isn't in a very nice area.

Overall it was fine but I wouldn't have stayed here had I known what it was like before.

Outrage charge for the car parking not recommend

Hotel did not mentioned the hotel car parking is chargeable they charged 16 euro per day car parking and even said that they have to tax you on number of people. Outrageous!!!! and the parking in the street is free or is just 5 euro per night. This is a robbery!!!

I stayed with family. It was only 10 Minuts from centre of Maine City. There are many takeaways and restaurants nearby. Outside Hotel there is pay and display parking. Hotel has its own parking for £13 per night. Breakfast was good.
