Staff lovely, breakfast nice, clean room. Aging in some ways but didn’t impact on our stay. Limited crockery and kitchen utensils so don’t use kitchen much - location is around university so lots of action however a 15 min walk to old town etc. happy with stay. Very nice staff who were very helpful.

I was traveling with a car and needed parking, thus i chose this hotel. The only issue i had was checking in. There is no place for your car while you check in. Once the process was completed there wasnt an issue but during that time its a little frustrating

The property was great value and included a large room by European standards. The only downside was the room we were in was hot and the bedroom lacked air flow. We used the fan provided to help move air and we were okay but if there was a heat wave it would be very difficult to tolerate.

This is a good budget hotel in an area of Lille that is 30 mins from centre. Nice park walking distance and some good restaurants close by. Check in is late (4pm) and check out is early (11am) so watch for this - hotel will keep your cases etc

Good option off the beaten path

I booked this last minute after a problem with another hotel and it was a great choice. The only bad thing was there is not 24 hour staff but how often do you need that? The lady that helped me when I checked in was so nice friendly and helpful.

It was convenient by being close to railway station. The area around hotel is congested with construction. It is around 15 minutes to center and one can get use to that as it was straight forward and the local vendors are fair with purchase you may like. The bedroom had 3 areas with separate washroom , toilet and shower that was small but all clean. One of the younger receptionist was not polite or receptive as the older one was. Overall for the money and location it was good and average.

Great little place to stay!

Great little place to stay! I found all the staff at the desk friendly and helpful.
Not stayed in an apartment/hotel place before so I didn’t know what to expect.
My room had everything I needed for my 7 night stay. Good selection of cutlery/crockery/pans etc., for those who want to make/heat food while staying. Didn’t have breakfast downstairs during my stay so cannot comment on that.
Shower was great, had no problems with hot water.
Bed was VERY comfortable, a quite firm king-size in my room (309). Such a good sleep every night!
No problems with the Wi-Fi. They change the password once a week.
There’s a bin for normal waste and one for recycling which I liked.
Hand soap, hair/shower gel, washing-up liquid, a sponge and tea towel are provided.
The kitchenette cleaning is not provided so you must do this before you leave, which is perfectly reasonable.
Your room is not cleaned/bed changed etc., during your stay (which for some reason people have complained about).
Decorating could do with a little refresh (marks on walls etc.).
Overall my stay here was great and I would recommend for solo travellers, couples and families staying in Lille. It’s maybe a 15 minute walk to the main centre/train stations.

Very pleasant welcome from helpful staff and handy for the station with direct bus ( 5) or 30 min walk . Room quiet comfortable and breakfast plentiful and decent quality . Very happy . Theres a small kitchenette in rooms that you may use as long as you clean it up after. Lille itself very pretty as a city.

The property was perfect to explore Lille a 15-20 minute walk to the main square, all flat. Rooms of a good size and comfortable. Fridge, job, pots, pans, glass wear and coffee machine. Big nice clean bathroom. Could have done with spare pillows, as by the time we went to bed the reception desk was closed. Over all very good. And will use this chain again in France.

Nice, basic hotel room made nicer by the addition of a microwave, refrigerator, and two-burner cooktop. There wasn't much in the way of equipment in the kitchen but it was certainly better than nothing. Staff were friendly and helpful, bed was comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. The immediate area isn't particularly interesting but it's also not sketchy; there are plenty of interesting things within 10-15 minutes' walk. There's also a bike-share station across the street, which is quite convenient. I visited at the weekend during university break, so (free) street parking was plentiful; I suspect that's not the case normally.

We didn't have the courtains in our room and as we slept on the groundfloor with windows to the parking this was pretty inconvenient. Also after my booking I have got this massege that the desk will be closed at 22:30 p.m with no further instruction how I can get into the hotel after that.
This were the two bothering things. All other was good, clean room, compfy bed. Even there is a small kitchen.

Be aware of University Holiday Time

We struggled to coope with mosquite attack. The hotel was unable to provide any spray and suggest to get it by ourselves.

Hotel was clean and confortable as the budgeted selfcatering accommodation. Staff speak good English, and very helpful and friendly.

Walking distance to the town. However, due to university holiday time, there were many restaurants and cafes that were closed for the quiet time.

Nice modern hotel with apartment style rooms. Family room had an alcove with beds in and sofa bed in main part. Sofa bed noisey and uncomfortable but main beds fine. Good kitchen facilities. Small but adequate showroom. Shame no one cleaned the room in our 5 day stay. Rather warm on the 3rd floor despite opening all the windows.

Helpful staff, safe car parking although we had not been made aware this needed to be booked separately. Are spaces around if you don't want to take this option but we did. Spacious apartment with all necessary. Very comfortable beds. Open plan and not the 2 bedrooms we had been expecting but not an issue. Walking distance to the centre of Lille and great value for money. Only there for 1 night but could have stayed longer

Nice enough.

When I finally got my room after it was given to someone else and proving who I was, the room given was clean.
The shower was poor as the water ran out of the wet room bathroom and into the room, so we had to block the door with a towel to avoid a repeat.
The parking needs to be booked in advance but this was not mentioned, but I was lucky enough to find free parking nearby, so would recommend taking the risk and saving 8€.

Easy to find and very near to park. Little further out of town for eating and shopping but not too far to walk if you are reasonably active! The room was lovely, very clean and had all needed for a two night stay. It was however very warm - a fan would have been nice! Also as we were on the ground floor it was a little noisy in the evening - the car park made a sound tunnel and we could hear everyone coming home - luckily as it is out of town a little - there was not a huge amount of passing traffic! I am sure it would be quieter on another level. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

Good for a short stay

The hotel room seems very clean, but the smell of it for me, as a non smoker, was bad.
Still bed was very comfy.
Small kitchen in the room is nice tip.
Location of the hotel is very lovely, crossed by ancient buildings.
They have private parking which cost extra cost.
Breakfast is ok...without eggs, sausages and cheese, which I always miss in these locations.

Clean hotel with a large room for one person, and walking distance to the city center. Don't expect a large variety for breakfast, but you can do your own breakfast in the kitchen section of your rooms, equipped with all necessary items. My stay was in January, the room was a bit cold, and the strength of the heating made it hard to warm it up.
But all in all, you get more than a fair deal in this hotel.

Fantastic hotel, especially for the price. There's no fancy restaurant or bar, the breakfast is basic, but this place is great value. Super clean. Friendly staff. Nice room and bed.

If you like to walk and explore this is a great location. It's a little out of the way (5 minutes walk to shops, 10 minutes to centre) and there's interesting architecture in the area.

Like most places in France, the elevator is rather tight.

Cosy Hotel next to the Catholic University

This hotel was certainly cosy and warm.
We were visiting my daughter who has been studying in the Catholic University and the hotel was right next door.
Supermarkets and bakeries are nearby which was handy as there is a small kitchenette.
It is away from the centre of town but there is a bus stop outside that takes you to Eurolille (we caught the bus from the train station when we arrived)

Accueil plus que chaleureux, avec de bonnes adresses pour visiter Lille et déjeuner ou dîner dans des établissements avec cuisine locale et du NORD. Bien situé dans Lille. Proche du centre et autre. Chambre accueillante, propre et bien aménagée avec une exception les placards du coin cuisine trop hauts ainsi que le micro-onde trop haut pour des personnes de tailles moyenne. C'est peu mais à améliorer.
Je recommande cet établissement.

Belle expérience malgré un contexte difficile (maladie). L'hôtel est très propre et la literie confortable. Mais c'est surtout la gentillesse du staff que je retiens : ils ont été très flexibles pour nous laisser la chambre plus longtemps afin de récupérer et nous ont orienté vers une pharmacie de garde le dimanche. Le personnel est courtois.
Le lieu est idéalement situé à proximité du vieux lille.
La chambre donne sur le parking donc calme.
Quelques moisissures au niveau des joints de lavabo, porte de douche écaillée,ca fait 1 peu négligé,ainsi que de la poussière sur la table de nuit.
Toutefois,la chambre est spacieuse,confortable avec une petite kitchenette.
Les petits+: on peut se servir en eau et café gratuitement quand la réception est ouverte.
