Room was clean, the only missing thing was bin liners both in the room and in the bathroom. A well thought outlay of the room, plenty of storage space and sitting, nice touch with the additional side table. Plenty of space to put your toiletries in the bathroom and a lovely, good pressure shower. Very friendly staff, at the reception and the bar. Although the resto was not open over the weekend, the bar was able to accommodate a nice little dinner for us, both weekend evenings. The save the maid a day’s cleaning for a free glass of tipple is also a welcome feature, especially as I prefer to make my own bed my own way, but I particularly appreciated the fact that the duvet was not tucked in all round the bed.
All in all, we’re coming back when we are in the area.

We have stayed at this hotel for over 10 years, it’s just the best. We love the location whether for visiting christmas markets, or just travelling to the Alps and stopping off en-route.
We love sitting in the lounge playing the games, especially pac-man. Rooms are very clean and spacious and staff always super friendly. Lots of restaurants walking distance from italian to lovely delis, or buffalo grill, also now serving food in the hotel itself too. Parking is easy and lots and safe.

On our way home from the Alsace region, we chose to stay in Lile. I specifically searched for a hotel with a pool, as we had a pool all holiday and it was my wife's birthday, so i wanted something special. When we went to go to the pool it was tiny, full with 3 kids on inflatables and looked dirty and unwelcoming. We went back to our room and did not use the pool. It was a very average room and for the money was not premium in any way. It was like a normal chain hotel room, but we paid premium price

Enjoyable stay

This is a good location for getting out and about. Just a sort distance off the A1.
Couldn’t fault the staff, all were very welcoming and friendly.
Breakfast was good with a couple of hot elements. We didn’t use the restaurant in the evening as we eat out as attending the rugby World Cup as it was a very short distance to the stadium.
I would consider staying here again

Great Hotel

Very happy to chosen this hotel it clean, friendly staff and spacious room. The only thing disappointment is that the curtain is not black out curtain. It reasonable price with free parking which is the most important factor for us. The location is great just off the A1 road and it the center place to go to visit Lille.

The property has an outdoor seating area between the lobby and pool area with a small children’s play area. We were sitting on these seats and were told we had to leave because it was part of the restaurant attached to the inside of the hotel. I had already asked the front desk if we could sit there. The person who told us off and told us to move was rude and abrupt. There were no signs indicating we could not sit and eat our own things there. We were treated awfully despite being paying guest of the hotel and furthermore there was hardly Anyone else outside using the seating area!

Stop off on way from Eurotunnel to Alsace-Lorraine

Roadworks on both sides of the Channel meant we arrived too late to eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on that.

Welcome at Reception was excellent, efficient and very friendly. Rooms were extremely comfortable and we all had a good night's sleep. The area is quiet (airport not busy - last flight in or out is about 2200.) Would definitely recommend it as a stopover hotel. If you have Tesco Clubcard points, you can book this hotel through Hotels.com - very good value.

Convenient to airport car hire at Lille

Short tour of battlefields. Hotel in perfect position south of city, adjacent to the airport for car hire but v peaceful. Staff were brilliant - friendly and helpful, food superb, rooms a good size and well equipped. Definitely recommend.

Easy to find - straight off the motorway

overnight stay on the way back from a long journey to break the travel up. Perfectly adequate, easy to find just off the motorway. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food. Hotel looks drab from the outside but quite funky on the inside. We waited a while for someone to come to check in but they were friendly when they did arrive

Great hotel, newly refurbished, superb family room

We arrived about 9pm and a very courteous young man checked us in. He couldn't have been more helpful or polite. Once settled in our room, we were served in the bar, and again was very professional. At breakfast staff offered assistance to my 9 year old when using the toaster.
Room itself was in perfect condition as the hotel had just finished being renovated a couple of weeks ago. Would very happily recommend this hotel.

Good location to visit Lille. Clean and friendly!

Hotel was clean and despite being near the airport was exceptionally quiet. The picture of the pool is a little mis-leading as it is rather small. The hotel gives out free bottles of water which were very welcomed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very good location to easily drive into Lille which is beautiful.

Arrived on evening of a very hot day's motoring. Check in was swift and polite and staff speak English. Room was functional but had excellent air conditioning.
Dinner menu was relatively limited but we each had a superb omelette and breakfast was fine,Kids were enjoying themselves at the outdoor pool and a mother and baby rabbit were gambolling on the grassy area outside the dining terrace!

not the best novotel, but ok

arrived very late at night and was given a room at the back of the hotel where there was a constant humming noise (like a large truck was parked outside the window). Receptionist immediately offered another room which was quiet.
Overall similar to other Novotels, but rooms are a bit old and doors still use metal keys.

hebben drie kamers gekregen
eerste kamer 128 stonk ontzettend naar riolering
kregen tweede kamer voor twee nachten maar na de eerste nacht bleek dat wij moesten verhuizen van kamer
kregen toen weer een andere kamer maar toen we savonds op de kamer kwamen stonk deze ook ontzettend naar riolering.
werd ons ook helemaal niet gevraagd bij uitchecken wat we er van vonden.

Pas de chance, alarme incendie déclenchée à 8h00, pas de réaction au niveau du personnel en réponse à mes questions. Petit problème au niveau du petit déjeuner (16 euro par personne !) : plus grand chose à déjeuner (manque yaourts, viennoiseries, œufs brouillés...) à 9h00 (fermeture à 10h), les tables ne sont pas redressées, il faut se servir dans les placards (tasses et verres), nous pensons que cela est dû au manque de personnel.

Parfait weekend en famille, un écoulement de douche légèrement défectueux et il n'y a pas de grilles d'aération sur les fenêtres, en dehors de cela, c'était parfait, je recommande cet hôtel par rapport au Mercure (qualité/prix).

Nous avions résever pour une nuit 2 aduldes et 2 enfants de + de 6 ans, et 1 bébé de 6 mois. La responsable nous a refusait la réservation sous prétexte que la chambre n'était pas suffisamment spacieuse pour mettre un lit parapluie et qu'il fallait qu'on paye 2 chambres ! Et bizarrement, elle ne m'a pas donné la chambre qui était initialement prévue!!!! je trouve ça désolant de vouloir absolument se faire de l'argent a tout prix!!!! je déconseille juste pour le manque d'honnêteté

Arrivée sur le site à 13h au lieu de 12h et là ? Les 2 chambres de reservees ne sont pas prêtes. Impossible de prendre une douche et de se changer car ont devraient assister à un mariage prévu pour malheureusement c'est à 15h00 que le service de chambre a terminé le nettoyage des 2 chambres.
La climatisation dans l'une des 2 chambres ne fonctionnait pas correctement. J'ai signalé ça au monsieur de la réception. Malgré rien n'a été fait.
Cela fait des années que je fréquente cet hotel effectivement, et c'est la première fois que je rencontre ce genre de problème.
Le personnel aussi a changé.

En skuffende oplevelse.

En skuffende oplevelse. De vil ikke engang ordne værelset, når man er der i flere dage. Morgenmad er en joke. Ingen komfort og man må nærmeste kun opholde sig på sit værelse. Slet ikke en behagelig ophold. Deres restaurant er lukket og de kan ikke engang henvise til et sted, hvor man kan få noget at spise andet end Mac Donald, ikke lige det, jeg komme til Frankrig for.
