Fairly clean, modern apartments. Some areas like the tiles in the bathroom and the ceiling are showing signs of wear and our sofa was very stained. The location was quite far out on an industrial estate but we used uber to get to the city centre which was around £25 one way as the metro was suspended. I am not sure I would stay again but it was cheap enough and quiet which meant a good nights sleep.

Review: Disappointed by Lack of Basic Hospitality

I stayed at this hotel recently and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired—especially in terms of service and hospitality. During our stay, we asked the front desk if we could borrow a lighter for our son’s birthday cake. Not only did they say no, but they didn’t make any effort to help or offer alternatives. When we suggested maybe the kitchen could help, the staff member replied bluntly that there was no kitchen available to assist.

On our last day, we asked if they could help us send a postcard back home—a small request that most hotels are happy to assist with. Again, we were told flatly, “No, we don’t do that,” with no suggestion or offer of help.

While the facilities may have been fine, these interactions left us with the impression that guest care was not a priority. We weren’t expecting luxury service, just a bit of friendliness and a willingness to assist with basic, common guest needs. Sadly, that wasn’t our experience.

Sad to see the hotel being downgraded by the new ownership. The kitchen is very basic and lacking in essential items that used to be there under the previous owner. They have spent a lot on decor, but ignored essentials. Breakfast is now not worth having.

Pros: Good location with free parking. Check in was quick. Its a coworking space with a gaming room. My kids absolute loved it. Huge common area you can chill out and grab a drink. Room was big enough for 3 persons.

Cons: rooms allocated on the ground floor just right next to a bar table. People were drinking outside my room till 11:30. Difficult for me to get a sleep. Toilet was small and shabby. No air conditioning but it should be normal in France. It was abit hot if you sleep on the sofa bed. You can open the windows if you sleep in the double bed room.

Only stayed for one night for Olympic event in Lille. Staff were very helpful. breakfast was amazing with a wide selection. Hotel was decorated for the Olympics but missing some countries flags 😆.
We stayed in two hotels for this trip and this hotel was the best out of the two.

Change of ownership seems to have reduced the quality of service. The hob and pans would not work as they had not been cleaned properly to work with induction. The hairdryer had been removed from the bathroom - had to go to reception to request a loan and told to return to reception. Breakfast was a very poor offering - no fresh baguettes, only over cooked petit pain etc etc. Toaster, but no sliced bread - very disappointing. Lots of money spent on decor, but at a cost to the quality of the experience.

Very expensive for what you get. Very little staffing onsite to assist. Breakfast isn’t worth the money. Room was okay but two singles plus double beda sofa bed was not the most comfortable for a family of 4. Public transport is 20 minute walk away. Supermarket and bar less than 10 minutes by car.

The “disabled accessible” bathroom wasn’t really that accessible. The shower was over the bath! But there was a grab rail by the toilet.
The room was mainly clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had a bad smell probably from a blocked drain and the walls and sofa bed were grubby.
It was good to have free parking and the use of a kitchenette. Also good to have the on-site bar.

Nice hotel for a stopover. The rooms were very clean and having the studio with a kitchenette and living area was brilliant. Staff were very friendly and the bed was extremely comfortable.

The only suggestion for improvement is that they have a bit more choice in their in-hotel shop, rather than just a vending machine. It wasn't a huge issue, though, as there is a supermarket 5 min drive away.

This hotel has kitchen/cooking facilities, separate lounge, bedroom and is superb all round value. You may have to ask for utensils. We have stayed numerous times, but on the last two occasions we have had to ask for a saucepan and large servicing dishes which were made available as soon as requested. The buffet breakfast is fantastic not to be missed

I don’t expect to be shouted out by staff for not eating my breakfast from a tray, totally unacceptable. Also had the misfortune of being given a room on the ground floor, where the lights from the foyer shone in all night and we were woken by what sounded like trolleys being wheeled past at 6am ish, for what I’m assuming was preparations for breakfast. The table football machine was right outside our door and was extremely noisy with people playing on it till after 11pm. We have stayed in this hotel on at least four previous occasions and always had a pleasant stay. If this had been our first experience, we would never have returned, as it is I would have to check in advance the location of the room I was being allocated before taking the risk of staying again.

We stay here very regularly in the past 7 years. It is so good that we never look elsewhere. This time we have an apartment with two double bedrooms and a sofa bed ready made for our family of six.

There is a kitchen with an electric hop and a microwave, but no oven. All cookery are supplied including washing up liquid. We shopped at the nearby Auchan at the Centre Commercial for oyster, escargot, paella and bubbly drinks to cook back in the hotel. Though the hotel does sell ready cook meals if one fancies a lay in.

Breakfast buffet is a highlight, not an English breakfast, but does have pancakes and scramble eggs. Croissant and pain au chocolat are tasty accompanied with 10 different selection of jams and nutella, really spoiled for choice. My children had a good time as usual and so the stay was relaxing. The hotel is in a Science park, so nice and quiet in the evening and plenty of paths for morning jog around.

To get to Lille centre ville, we recommend parking the car free at Centre Commercial at Villeneuve d'ascq and take the metro to Rihour for about €3.50 return. Hassle free 9 quick stops and there are lifts to the platforms if you have a pram.

Very nice apartment hotel. We love the room that is fully sound insulated. Good size living room, dinning area, kitchen, and bedroom. Kitchen is nicely equipped with utensils, stoves, and microwave oven. The living area was very confortable, and the dinning area is nicely decorated for you. The bedroom was spacious and we had a good night sleep. We were also surprised by how nice the breakfast is. We’ve got yhe room last minute with discount. Everything in the apartment exceeded our expectations. We look forward to come back with our family and plan to book with a much bigger room for 6!

One night budget hotel

First of all, décor needs updating through out. It felt like stepping into a prison hall. The door room numbers were so big that you could read them a mile a away. The colour scheme was horrible- dark and gloomy albeit the sunlight was great in the hall. Room natural lighting was limited and room lights were dim. Wall colouring in room was bright orange. Toilet did not have airing system. Public hallway used for eveining events (small bar) cause lots of noise to enter room. Bathroom dated. On the good side, matress and pillows were fantastic. TV channels great. Breakfast was mediocre. Food range was good but felt like back to school canteen. Hot water for tea was NOT hot. Location was great but will consider other options next time. Below standard for the budget price paid. Please update paint colour scheme.

Decent enough hotel for an overnight stay. Probably suits business travellers best but it is located a short walk away from the main square. I had a downstairs room which was clean and modern -perhaps a little too sparse, but perfectly ok.
The hotel appears to have 3 parking spaces and possible on-street parking. Alternatively, there is a good underground car park approximately 100m away.

Avoid the first floor rooms

All of the rooms face the bar/lobby area. So my hotel had a view of people sitting and drinking. I had to keep the blinds closed so they could not see through my window, which I don’t know why a window was even installed. From the bedroom my view was of the parking lot and people smoking. So again had to keep the blinds closed. Music at the bar plays until 11pm or later and you can hear it from the rooms. Was supposed to stay 7 nights but just stayed 1. Hotel staff was excellent, but felt that the hotel information online was misleading.

Modern, quiet at weekends.

Location was good for us to get to athletics stadium but is on a business park so not much around it. We did find a restaurant in walking distance in the nearby village. The hotel is very modern and rooms are set around a central atrium which is nice. We were concerned that it may be noisey but music was turned down by 10pm and we were never disturbed. They only clean rooms on certain days so beds are not made up etc.

But hotel still charging me 4days stay and say can't the details, after they check and finally realize is a mistake but will not revise the credit bill, have to wait. Functional and value for money

I stayed with my wife and daughter (12). We went to a football tournament to watch our son. The hotel was in a convenient location to travel to and from the tournament. It was relatively close to the metro to go into Lille or to drive in and park the car. The rooms were simple and well equipped. In the main it was very clean but on close inspection the walls has splashes and marks - needs a re paint. Breakfast was OK. My main complain was the cutlery which was not clean. The place had ample parking and gates that closed in the night time for security. The bed was comfortable and shower decent. The bar closed very early and the night porter did not want us to sit in the atrium with other people we knew drinking our own beer. This was very irritating. Whilst I can understand they don't want a load of noise keeping people awake, it spoilt the stay. There is nowhere to go locally so we had no option but to goto bed. Unless you drive or get the metro into Lille its dead around the hotel. There was an Italian within walking distance but it was shut the night we wanted to try it. There are some restaurants near the stadium - circa 25 mins walk. These were also shut because it was a bank holiday weekend. Walking through the university campus at night was also a challenge, we would have been screwed without google map. WIFI was free and reasonably fast. I am not sure why - but our room was not cleaned or towels changed in the three days we stayed.

I've stayed many times in this hotel, but this was a first for me. A genius decided it would be a good idea to host a private and very noisy party in the public central atrium of the hotel. This ensured that ALL guests were bombarded with loud music and a shouting DJ while trying to sleep. When I complained, the desk staff were very helpful in moving us to another part of the building where we were able to sleep. Although this did mean getting the children out of bed and dressed again at 23.00. Not ideal at all. Nevertheless, I do thank the staff for their help, while questioning the thoughtless idea of using this space for such a noisy celebration. I can only assume that all other guests feel the same as I. It would have been better for your reputation to have just closed the hotel for the night, rather than seriously annoy every single person staying there. I would be interested to have a response from the hotel management, as well as a commitment to inform guests in advance should something like this be planned in the future.

We have stayed here before. Impressed by the amount of space for all members of our family. We were able to spread out sufficiently without feeling we were encroaching on each others' space. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, offering a variety of options to suit all tastes! The only negative point was the amount of noise from the table football & table tennis activities in the atrium until quite late, this did disturb my son & daughter whose rooms faced that side of the hotel.

This is an 'apartment hotel'. We stayed in the 40m2 apartment which had a separate bedroom and combined sitting, eating and kitchen area along with separate bathroom and toilet.
The toilet room is small, but that should not put you off unless you are well above average size. The area of the appartment is fine - we stayed for 4 nights. Breakfast was as expected - adequate, fresh and continental with the possibility of cooked eggs. There is, as the photos show, a massive atrium which supplies an extra sitting, reading, leisure area. The only grouch was the smell of cigarette smoke which we find offensive - in my case the small particulates cause a cough. The smokers gathered just outside of the entrance and therefore presented a cloud of second-hand smoke to walk through. The smoke also penetrated the atrium, which made us retire to our apartment to escape it on one occasion. There was also smoking in rooms, as evidenced by the central smoke alarm system sounding. I am sure that if we return to this area we would consider this hotel again, but would love to know that a small shelter was assigned to smokers, well away from the hotel.

Friendly self catering apartment with excellent breakfast provided and highly recommended. Free car parking , comfortable room. Wifi reception was not very good in room, unfortunately.

Nice space and comfortable, relaxed atmosphere

We loved our stay here and though the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was a bit tired looking and didn't smell fresh, but it was straightened for us daily. The common areas were great, as was the breakfast buffet. It was a good fit for a family of six traveling together.

Well out from Lille-Europe, but excellent value

A fair distance from Lille-Europe - the Eurostar station in town. It is definitely NOT in the 'stations' area of Lille, as the website claimed...but worth the easy Metro ride out ( for €3.00) with 10 min. walk or a short bus ride at the end The 10 min. Taxi ride will cost you €30 if you're feeling tired. Good kitchenette with microwave, with drinks and ready-to-cook meals available to buy at the Bar near Reception, clean spacious room & bathroom and friendly staff, excellent buffet b'fast included in room price.

A nice stay - very helpful staff. Well placed for visiting Lille, for access to the motorway network or to travel to the Eurostar terminal.

Nice stay but hotel could do with an update now?

Stayed here numerous occasions each time as a stop over before going back to the UK when we travel through France. It's a good hotel with large rooms and free wi-fi and feree breakfast. Could do with an update though. Bathrooms and W/C are a bit dated now and could do with a refresh. TVs are old CRT style. Buffet breakfast was ok - standard selection. Good as an overnight stop or 2 day stay if you are travelling by car. Other than that no issues during our stay.

Just stayed for one night travelling through

Very helpful staff.
Not in the centre of Lille, but that was what we wanted.
But just a few minutes from the fantastic, quick and cheap \"metro\" to the centre, and there was free parking adjacent.
Good communal area in e centre of the hotel, if perhaps a little industrial building feel, but created a great atmosphere.

It was everything I needed - a room to go back to after appointments and be able to fix myself some dinner in small kitchenette. Room was near main road but sound insulation worked well. Only sour note - front desk mucked up 'wake up' call as back up for limited ph reception.

Very low and hard beds!

The beds were very low and hard to sleep in. The standard of our room needed a refreshing. It looks better in their pictures than in real life.

Great base for families short break

I took my 3 kids (aged 17, 14 & 10) for 4 nights, and we stayed in a 1 bed apartment. Sofa bed was comfy, bedroom had a Double bed plus a Single too. Breakfasts were very good, nice selection to choose from, plus option to have made to order pancakes or eggs cooked too. Rooms all modern & clean. Small kitchenette all worked OK too. We used the hotel as a base to visit Ypres, Vimy Ridge & Lille.
