This was my second time staying at this hotel and the front desk staff and concierge service is excellent. The bed was incredibly soft and other people on the trip said the same thing about the bed. The breakfast buffet was over the top good. The service at the bar on the property was the only thing that was off, everything else was excellent.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hospitality at The Westin Pune was unparalleled compared with other places where i have stayed in past.

The on-prem restaurants were great, specifically the breakfast served with soo many food options. In room services were prompt. The service staff deligently kept the room clean without having to ask for it.

The room size was surprisingly bigger and well maintained.

While checking out I had requested to extend the check-out time by couple hours as my flight was latter in the night. The service staff promptly agreed to this request even though it was pick time when lot of guests where checking in.

Would definitely recommend if anyone who wants excellent stay without any hassle.

When I got into my room, there were peanuts under the bed, meaning the room was not thoroughly cleaned. During my second night, there was a leak from the roof onto my bathroom floor due to the AC unit. To be clear, the staff was super helpful and the issue was resolved swiftly. However, I would've expected to be offered a different room. In general the stay was really good and the staff made all the difference.

I have had most of the hotel staff agree that there were multiple goof ups during my stay; condition of the property is very bad. Please avoid this property. I feel cheated by Marriott for this stay. Would have been more comfortable in a railway lodge I feel.

One of the Best Hotel made by staff working there.

It was my first experience in any Hotel in last 25 years since I started travelling, Westin staff in Pune is very friendly and very good welcome gesture, specially I would mention Ms. Kashmira for providing us refreshing drinks, realizing that after hectic day we were very tired. I would like to thank all Hotel reception staff, including Mr. Pradeep at a time of Checkout.

4 star rooms. 3 star staff.

Check in executive seemed to be a fresher and not very professional. Courtesy was lacking from the majority of the staff. Wash basin was in a pathetic end of life condition. Breakfast didn't have fresh orange juice. One of the staff members rudely asked to put on the mask even while going to take food from the buffet in the restaurant. How is that practical! Keep the hotel shut if you are so concerned about Covid that you will provide instructions to paying guests on how to walk around a buffet!

Great staff in an ageing hotel.

Have been a frequent guest at this hotel since it has opened. There is major renovation on going, however the manager Mr.Sushil went out of his way to ensure we were not inconvenienced during our stay and accommodated us in a much better room than what we had booked. Look forward to visiting the Westin again.

Good stay, but....

It was a pleasant stay up until the point that they had a really loud party happening just below our window. The party went on for 4 hours! They’ve got to find a better way to do this rather than inconveniencing paying guests.
Another quirk about this hotel is that you have to walk through the main buffet restaurant to get to the pool or walk through the main lobby in your swimwear or towel! Really poor design! Otherwise the rooms were comfortable and the breakfast buffet was nice.

Very good hotel overall but a few issues

Very good hotel and we would definitely stay again. The lobby is beautiful and the staff are attentive and helpful. The breakfast is also fantastic for both Western, Indian and healthy food selections. The rooms are starting to show their age with a few cracks and stains here and there but they are clean and functional with excellent bedding and pillows. The bathroom was excellent and in great condition with a fantastic bath, separate shower and spacious vanity area and sink. The amenities in the room were also first-class. The pool is nice but there was construction going on which meant walking through the restaurant in our swimming gear to get to it. We didn’t mind but some of the diners may have! There was also very loud party on the balcony bar one evening which was deafening even on the 5th floor so we had to change rooms. The cover on our room safe randomly popped open one evening leaving all the valuables exposed. Nothing was taken but it was unsettling nonetheless. All in all a good hotel but a few issues.

Some good, some service needs improvement

TLocation isn’t walking distance to the main Koregaon Park area, except if you have half an hour or more during day time. There are a couple of bars or restaurants on this side, but mostly construction zones. Italian food was terrific. Other travelers seemed like young business types. Staff was hit or miss. Weekend afternoon at the Pool there was no staff. I had to flag down a cleaning lady to get a menu. Then the hotel manager didn’t seem to care when I checked out and they asked for my reviews. Also pool water was very cold, compared to other 5-stars in the neighborhood. hotel entrance is impressive. Now there are so many new hotels in Pune. This one was playing an old intro ad on the TV’s. The plugs all worked and the desk office space was great. The bathrooms were clean. The lobby cafe was good, and staff in the restaurants were also good. They even packed me a to-go box for my evening bus back to Bombay. The views were good, and the hotel is quiet. the other 5-stars in the area have really out-done themselves like JW Marriott or Conrad.

The hotel has recently been taken over by the Mariott Group and I found that the service was just not quite as extra as it had been - but it was still quite good. The card readers had major issues and I had to change my room cards on average twice a day but I believe that they were replacing this system. If you get a club room, go and see Arjun in the club! His service was exceptional and he really made me feel welcome! Thanks Arjun. You are fantastic.

Nothing was unique .very poor service.staff behavior was very rude,whenevever i was asking for any service they rudely behave,the card key was not working properly i chnged it like more than 7 times..never seen such type of 5 star hotel in my life..i am very disapointed .nd till now they have not unblocked my 5000 which they took during my check-in time from mu credit card.

This hotel needs to be shut down for being irresponsible. My wife and I checked in today. She had called up the hotel on the 13th to pick us up from the airport. When we arrived, there was no car. We called up the hotel and waited for 45 minutes. Every call made by us was met with litany of excuses, i.e., “Madame, we are very sorry, and the car will be there in 5 minutes!”. Every time, this was 20 minutes ago!. Finally, we took a taxi and came to the hotel. Upon arrival, there were 3 people waiting for us. We were told that this was a system error, and this was followed by profuse apologies. We accepted this fact, because these things do happen. However, the reality is that these things do not happen at “real” 5 Star hotels. They happen at 5-star hotel who employ amateurs, who are casual about their work and responsibility. Unfortunately, this Westin is full of these types of people. The story gets even better. We had to go for a pre-marriage party. Being new to the city, we booked a car from the hotel at 8.30pm, in the hope that this is the safest option. At 11.30pm, I called up the driver Ramdas on his phone nearly 100 times, and there was no response! Then I called up the hotel, and the concierge tells me that they had moved the driver, because there was some other important business! I was stunned, with this irresponsible behaviour.

Breakfast choices were amazing. The service was excellent. Ms. Siddhi greeted us very warmly and made us feel at home. Everyone at the Breakfast area was very courteous and helpful.

Mr. Vaishah at the front desk was very courteous and efficient. He was very helpful in arranging a transport to the airport for us.

Mr. Harsh at the Lounge area on the fourth floor was very friendly and helpful.

I've stayed in Marriott/SPG hotels in several parts of the world but nothing beats by experience at Westin.

Amazing stay with Extraordinary Hospitality

I wish if there was a option to Rate 7 star to Westin .
To begin with I and my wife planned to stay at Westin pune for her birthday celebration.
Special Thanks to Neha (Westin’s Guest relationship manager) and complete Team of westin who has put so much efforts to make my wife’s birthday celebration magical and memorable.
First surprise was our complimentary room upgrade to terrace suit .
As soon as we entered our room it was a huge and lavish room completely decorated with balloons and flowers and a special cake for us.
It was truely memorable and once in lifetime experience.
We were invited to access special club lounge for birthday celebration.
There Mandeep and his whole team(harsh,yogita,Richa and chef Fiza) made all the special arrangements to make our birthday special along with that served us special food menu.
In the late evening Neha and her Westin team members invited us for “The House of Medici”
One of the best clubs in Pune and we spent wonderful evening .
Every smaller things were taken care of....
It’s definitely worth staying at Westin.

This is one of the best hotels in Pune with great location. They have done a good job, and deserve a 5 star rating only if they could fix the problem with their room key. Everyday wine has to goto front to get it activated, otherwise it doesn’t work. Very annoying indeed.

Very nice place to stay in heart of Pune

Booked the room for my personal stay through Expedia.
The booking was perfect and we were immediately welcomed by Ms Neha who escorted us to our room with an excellent view. She was, along with other staff, always giving attention to see our comfort.
Morning breakfast was good. The room mini bar (fridge) was filed with variety of stuff which can satisfy anyone.
Overall, very good experience and would definitely recommend others to stay at Westin.

Overwhelmed and a joyful stay

I had an amazing experience at westin. Their staff is absolutely amazing. I had been there to celebrate my husbands birthday, and their staff - Deepak he arranged a lovely complimentary surprise for my husband while I took him out to see other places in Pune. They were extremely helpful if we needed anything and always kept a check on us since we were new at Pune and Deepak even guided us to take a tour around Pune and helped us with some tourist and shopping places in Pune. I m extremely happy and delighted and I m always going to stay at westin vicinity where ever I travel now. Their food is up to the mark and the decor of the hotel is amazing as well as very hygienic. To add on the breakfast buffet was amazing do not miss it Thank you so much

Great Hotel if you don't need to get to downtown

The Hotel is great value and very comfortable. I have two complaints though. The location if you need to get to downtown central Pune during rush hour or back to the hotel during rush hour it will take an hour. For a 5 star hotel, they unbelievably serve cheap artificial jam, it literally glows it has so much artificial colouring. First time I have ever seen this in anything above 4 stars.

Stay was very comfortable, lovely food, restaurant staff very energetic to serve. Only complaint is that we had to remind the front desk about the complimentary air port drop, which they were trying to charge us. Grand hotel, but serious wrong attitude.
